Halloween Sweet Centers

Good Morning & Happy Sunday!

Hope your having a good weekend!
Yesterday was busy, busy, busy!
Today we are going to go check out an Antique Store then back home to watch football.
It's looking to be a nice day and thankfully not as hot & humid as yesterday!

I have another Halloween sweet treat for you today!
This is made using the Sweet Centers stamp set and Sweet Treat Cups from 2009.
They made their debut in the Stampin Up Holiday Mini Catalog in 2009.
I have used these quite a bit over the years and recently found 2 more packs of the Sweet Treat Cups.

This year M&M finally came back out with Halloween colored candies!
It has been a long time coming as I have been looking for several years for them!
I found a container of them at Sam's Club and did not think twice about buying them! LOL
I paired up the green colored ones to last year's Lemon Lime Twist. It was a perfect match!
I stamped my image with the Lemon Lime Twist and layered it onto the same colored cardstock. But before I did that, I made a trap door in the back so if you pull the part where the orange rhinestone is, it will reveal the candies. I used the 1 3/4 inch circle punch to make my opening to put the Sweet Treat Cup in and attached that with glue dots. The sentiment comes from the retired Teeny Tiny Wishes set.
That was stamped with Tangerine Tango and punched out with the Classic Label Punch. Lastly, I added a Gorgeous Grape Striped Ribbon Bow with a hot glue gun and called these done.

Project Details:

Stamps: Sweet Centers (retired), Teeny Tiny Wishes (retired)
Ink: Lemon Lime Twist (retired), Tangerine Tango (retired)
Cardstock: Lemon Lime Twist (retired), Whisper White
Accessories: Sweet Treat Cups, 1 3/4 Circle Punch, Round Tab Punch (retired), Classic Label Punch, Rhinestones, Gorgeous Grape Striped Ribbon, Hot Glue Gun, Mini Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I am beyond happy that M&M finally brought back the Halloween colored M&M's!!!
I also made M&M Sticks, too, that I will share soon.
They are SO colorful......just makes me smile!

Eeeek Your Sweet

Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Today I have another Halloween card to share! I'm trying to get a handful whipped up so I can mail a few out in the next week or so. I need to get better about sending out cards!

The stamp set I used on this card was from an oldie but a goodie called Sweet Centers. It coordinated with those little cups that you could fill with candy treats if you punched out the center. I have a slew of those plastic cups that I have been thinking about using up this Christmas and getting them out from my stash. The Pumpkin Pie circle in the center is the part that would get punched out and replaced with the treat cup but today I decided to just use the set to make a card. I added a few rhinestones and left it be. My dsp and Pumpkin Pie panels are die cute with the Lil Inkers Stitched Rectangle Dies that I have been trying to use more & more. Pumpkin Pie Grosgrain Ribbon is used for the bow.

Eeeek Your Sweet Card:

Stamps: Sweet Centers (retired)
Ink: Basic Black Archival
Cardstock: Basic Black, Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White, Halloween Night Specialty DSP
Accessories: Lil Inkers Stitched Rectangle Dies, 1 3/4 Circle Punch, Rhinestones, Pumpkin Pie Grosgrain Ribbon, Glue Dot, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Sometimes I just love sitting down and pulling out a bunch of stuff and making a card with whatever is in front of me. Most times I like to keep my SU supplies all together for making a card and sometimes I like to mix things up. This card is all Stampin Up today.

My thoughts today...

Actually my hubby made an apple crisp last evening....
OMGosh it was so good! We've been on a roll lately with Honeycrisp apples and they are just so sweet & juicy without having any caramel or chocolate which is probably a good thing!

That's all I have for today!
Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!

Our Creative Corner Challenge

Hello & Happy Saturday!

And a HAPPY Saturday it is!
We are finally seeing some warmer temps here along with some brilliant sunshine which is melting all that yukky snow! :)

Today, i'm feeling alittle better as far as my sore throat & headache goes and maybe it's the sunshine that's making me feel better or maybe it's the fact that I stamped something I love today OR maybe it's the fact that I decided today I was locking myself in my stamp room to stamp and jammin to my fav band in the whole world, Bon Jovi!
Whatever the reason i'm a HAPPY girl! :)

So, the challenge today over at the Our Creative Corner Challenge Blog was "Cut It Out"! I went thru aome old stamp sets and found this set that I believe is still available in the SU catty called Sweet Centers! I loved this set when I first got it and sadly it got pushed aside. Today it has seen ink and is set # 19 on my challenge to see that all my sets see ink in 2011.
Check it out!

My heart from that set was stamped and cut out. I adhered some lace trim to the backside of it so it would make the heart stand out alittle more. I added a silver heart button to the center of it then popped it up. The designer paper is from Bo Bunny and is it ever pretty paper that I picked up here in Joplin at a new Scrapbook store that just opened. I noticed they carried alot of Bo Bunny papers so I know you'll see me using it more often!

Our Creative Corner Challenge Card:

Stamps: Sweet Centers (set #19)
Ink: Regal Rose
Cardstock: Regal Rose, PTI White, Bo Bunny DSP
Accessories: Martha Stewart Heart Border Punch, Silver Heart Button, Silver Rhinestones, Cuttelebug Heart Blocks Embossing Folder, Regal Rose Grosgrain, Hot Glue Gun, Dimensionals, Scor Tape

I hope you like it...I know I love it!
Last night we took Kelsey out to supper then went to see the Justin Bieber movie that came out yesterday. Now i'm not a fan of his but Kelsey is! I actually enjoyed the movie and think the young man has a great career ahead of him as long as his parents keep him grounded. So, if your teen is bugging you to go see it with them...do it! I thought it was great! :)

Well folks, that's all for me today!
I'm off to make some stuff for Christmas! LOL Yes, I said Christmas!
Can never start too early!

Thanks for stopping by & I hope your enjoying your Saturday!
