Wildflower Cards

 Good Morning & Happy Sunday!

Today I have a set of cards to share that I made recently for my card lady.
She requested the Dainty Flowers DSP from the 2023 SaleABRation offering earlier this year. She wanted this pack to have no saying on.

This package of DSP is so pretty with all the different patterns and prints all loaded with lovely wildflowers. I pulled out my Meadow Dies and added some silhouette stem to each card and a diecut butterfly. Audrey loved them! She's been enjoying all the cards I have made for her using this paper and always asks for more. This design uses up quite a bit of paper but what a great way to display it!

Card Details:

Stamps: none
Ink: none
Cardstock: Fresh Freesia, Rich Razzleberry (retired), Dainty Flowers DSP (SAB 23)
Accessories: Meadow Dies, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

These were so easy to create as I like letting the paper do all the work!

I'm hoping from here on out that I am back to posting on a regular basis now.
Shawn goes back to work tomorrow and i've got a busy week ahead with a dentist appointment, cleaning the house and a Stamp Day w/ Friends get together.
Our Stamp Day is going to be All Things Beachy! Guess I better get something scheduled with the girls first! LOL

My thoughts today...

It's to be a rainy, stormy day here so it will be a good day to do laundry and watch more of Hallmark Channels Christmas In July movies! I just love them!

Thanks for stopping by & have a wonderful day!

Seasonal Sprays Meets Quiet Meadow

 Good Morning & Happy Wednesday!

Halfway thru the week already!

Wanted to give an update on Miss Bailee before I get to today's project.
Vet called and said she has no worms which is what I was thinking with her symptoms. She's had worms back in 2014 so we've been down that road before. They are not sure what has caused her GI issues in the last week but the meds and her bland diet is helping. We have not started the change over back to her normal food and will continue with her bland food diet a few more days.

My card that I am sharing today I made recently for a friend who recently lost her partner of many years. I haven't seen or spoken to her in quite a while but wanted to send a card to let her know we are thinking of her. I pulled out a couple of supplies and got started...

This is the wood mounted stamp set I started my card with.
Do you remember the Seasonal Sprays set?

I thoroughly enjoyed creating this card and used the Seasonal Sprays stamp set from 2000 and the Quiet Meadow bundle.  I started with the Daffodil Delight cardbase then a layer of Basic White that I embossed with the Pretty Flowers EF which just retired at the end of April. Next I took some Daffodil Delight DSP strips and layered them on top of my embossed panel. I'm not sure on the measurements as they were just scraps that I cut to fit. Next I stamped my pretty flower image from the wood mounted Seasonal Sprays set with Memento Black and colored my image with Stampin Blends. I diecut that out with the Stitched Rectangle Framelits that also just retired. I layered that piece with some Old Olive cardstock and adhered to my card. I took a scrap piece of Daffodil Delight and stamped my sentiment on in Old Olive ink and diecut it out from the Quiet Meadow stamp set & Meadow Dies. I added an Old Olive bow with a Glue Dot and lastly added some Brushed Brass Butterflies.

Card Details:

Stamps: Seasonal Sprays (retired), Quiet Meadow
Ink: Old Olive, Memento Black, Stampin Blends-Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie
Cardstock: Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Basic White, Daffodil Delight DSP (retired)
Accessories: Meadow Dies, Stitched Rectangle Framelits (retired), Pretty Flowers EF (retired), Old Olive Ribbon (retired), Brushed Brass Butterflies, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I loved how this card turned out and hope that it comforted my friend during this difficult time.

Share A Milkshake Explosion Card

 Good Morning & Happy Tuesday!

Yesterday was a nice day until late afternoon when the clouds rolled in bringing rain, sleet and some snow. In the end the rain won out but right before we headed to bed it poured. This morning it is foggy and misty out. I hope by later today the sun comes out!

Today I have another fun explosion card to share with you. This is the original card that Marisa from Kitchen Table Stamper made on her Facebook Live 2 weeks ago. She shares the PDF on how to create it and since I had some time on my hands I had to try it! And that is how my Two Tone Flora card was made last Thursday. This card is the same as hers except I did change a few things up. I used the Share A Milkshake Bundle!

This is such a fun card to create and I am hoping to design one soon that the girls can make at Stamp Day!

Card Details:

Stamps: Share A Milkshake
Ink: Sweet Sorbet, Mint Macaron, Petal Pink, Early Espresso
Cardstock: Petal Pink, Mint Macaron, Basic White, Country Gingham DSP
Accessories: Share A Milkshake Dies, Seasonal Labels Dies, Stylish Shapes Dies, Meadow Dies, Gingham EF, Early Espresso Suede Ribbon, Linen Thread, Iridescent Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Not an easy card to photograph but it sure is fun!
It will surely bring a smile to the recipients face!

Well, today I have some house work to get finished up on so I better hop to it!
I'll be posting a bit late tomorrow as I have a dentist appointment 1st thing! Going to have a filling replaced and fitted for a new crown. I keep telling Shawn that I am going to have that million dollar smile before it's all said & done! LOL He walks away shaking his head...

My thoughts today...

This pretty much sums it up!

Thanks for stopping by & have a terrific day!
