Butterfly Thank You Card

 Good Morning & Happy Sunday!

Yesterday we saw some sunshine in the afternoon but I don't think it's going to happen today as they are saying rain most of the day!
Today I have a Thank You card to share made using the So Sentimental stamp set with matching Stitched So Sweetly Dies. It also uses some Field & Flowers DSP from the 2021 SaleABration Catalog!

If I remember correctly this style of card is called a Collar Fold.
I have not made one in a very long time.
It's a great way to showcase both sides of your DSP.
My sentiment is from the So Sentimental stamp set and it is diecut from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies that coordinate with it. I stamped the sentiment in Shaded Spruce ink onto Just Jade cardstock.
My butterflies are from the Butterfly Gala stamp set.
They are stamped with Misty Moonlight ink onto Seaside Spray cardstock and punched out with the Butterfly Duet Punch.
I added them to my card with Dimensionals and added some Rhinestones to give it some sparkle!

On the last picture I decided to take a scrap piece of DSP and adhere it to the flap on my envelope.
I just hope it holds up going thru the mail system!

Card Details:

Stamps: So Sentimental, Butterfly Gala
Ink: Shaded Spruce, Misty Moonlight
Cardstock: Thick Whisper White, Misty Moonlight, Just Jade, Field & Flowers DSP (SAB 21)
Accessories: Stitched So Sweetly Dies, Butterfly Duet Punch, Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This card will stay on hand for when I am in need of another Thank You card!
I seem to be going thru them quicker than I can make them here lately!

Hot Dog

 Hello & Happy Saturday!

A rainy day is on tap here!
Do you have any fun plans today?
I got all my errands done yesterday so today I am going to head to my stamp table after the guys get haircuts. I have the clippers ready so once breakfast is over that is on my agenda!

Yesterday I pulled out an really old pack of paper and paired it up with a SaleABration set called A Touch of Ink. I loved it!
I will share those cards soon!

Today I have a cute card to share that I made using the new Hot Dog set in the 2021 January-July Mini Catalog. It was a set that was not on my radar but as time went on and I seen samples made with it, I changed my mind and ordered it!

My card starts with a Calypso Coral cardbase then a layer of Crushed Curry cardstock.
Then a piece of DSP from Playful Patterns DSP.
I chose my colors from the DSP.
Then I took a piece of Calypso Coral Polka Dot DSP from the same paper pack measuring 2 x 3 3/4 and layered that on top of the striped paper to break it up a bit.
I added some retired Crushed Curry Ribbon and a bow.
I heat embossed my Hot Dog on Calypso Coral cardstock using Winter White Embossing Powder. I diecut it out with the Stitched Shapes Framelits and layered that onto a Whisper White Scalloped Circle from the Circle Layering Framelits.
My sentiment comes from the same set (Hot Dog) and I stamped that with Crushed Curry ink onto a Tasteful Labels Die.
I added that to my card with 2 Dimensionals.
Lastly I added a retired Calypso Coral Enamel Heart to my sentiment panel.

Card Details:

Stamps: Hot Dog
Ink: Crushed Curry, Versamark
Cardstock: Calypso Coral, Crushed Curry, Whisper White, Playful Patterns DSP
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits, Circle Layering Framelits, Tasteful Labels Dies, Calypso Coral Enamel Heart, Crushed Curry Ribbon (retired), Heat Gun, Winter White EP, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I was so thrilled with this card and loved the bright, fun colors!
A breath of fresh air during these dreary winter months!
Hope you liked my card, too!

Thinking of You Set

 Hello & Happy Friday!

YAY! We made it to the weekend!
They are calling for a cloudy, rainy weekend here in PA with temps in the 50's!
The snow is melting at a pretty good clip and hopefully we don't get anymore this season.
Spring is around the corner!

Today I am sharing another set of cards that were made for that card order last week.
My card lady wanted something with green in it.
I think she was thinking ahead to it being the month of St Patrick's Day.
I pulled out a very old pack of paper called Print Poetry DSP.
I don't have much of it left so it's important that I try to get it used up!

I only had a few scraps of these 2 different sheets of DSP left and cut them down to where I could use them for 5 cards. I pulled the colors from the DSP to create my cards.
I started with a Midnight Muse cardbase then a layer of Very Vanilla cardstock that I ran thru the Big Shot with the Tasteful Textile 3D EF. It is my favorite!
Then I used a piece of Gumball Green cardstock which I layered my scraps of Print Poetry DSP on.
I tied some Very Vanilla Baker's Twine around it with a bow to finish it.
The sentiment comes from the Framed For You stamp set that is in the Stampin Up! Annual Catalog.
I stamped it with Midnight Muse ink onto a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock.
Then I diecut it with the Stitched Shapes Framelits and layered it onto a piece of Midnight Muse that I diecut with the Oval Layering Dies.

Card Details:

Stamps: Framed for You (Million Dollar Achiever Set)
Ink: Midnight Muse (retired)
Cardstock: Midnight Muse (retired), Gumball Green (retired), Very Vanilla, Print Poetry DSP (retired)
Accessories: Tasteful Textile 3D EF, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Oval Layering Framelits, Very Vanilla Baker's Twine, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Do you remember these old In Colors?
It always feels good to use up those older products but I also like to mix it with new things, too!
My card lady was pleased with them and said she loved the print of the DSP!

Thank You

 Hello & Happy Thursday!

Today I am gonna switch things up just a bit!
I said I was going to share cards that I made for my card lady's order last week but instead I am gonna share a card made using SaleABration things!

SaleABration ends this Sunday so I wanted to make sure I got this card in before then.

The saying comes from the Heal Your Heart stamp set from the SaleABration catalog.
The Field & Flowers DSP is also from the same catalog.
They go well together, don't they?

Card Details:

Stamps: Heal Your Heart (SAB 21)
Ink: Just Jade
Cardstock: Just Jade, Whisper White, Field & Flowers DSP (SAB 21)
Accessories: Circle Layering Framelits, Bumble Bee Enamel Dot, Just Jade Ribbon, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I can use all the Thank You cards I can get right now!
I made a stack for just incase!

Love What You Do

Good Morning & Happy Wednesday!

Today is to be a nice day for a change with lots of sunshine and mid 50's for temps!
I am looking forward to it and hope it melts a good bit of snow that we still have.
Spring is just around the corner!

Today I have a set of Thank You cards to share made using retired Pretty Papers DSP.
The stamp set just retired last year called Love What You Do.
I purchased it off of Ebay last Fall and was surprised that the set was never inked.

These cards were made for my card lady last week and she has already called me with another card order. She sends out lots of cards each week. I think she uses them as fast as I make them!

My card starts with a Mint Macaron card base.
I pulled the colors from the 2 pieces of DSP.
Next I used a layer Very Vanilla cardstock and ran it thru the Big Shot with the Tasteful Textile 3d EF.
It is my absolute favorite embossing folder because I love the texture that it brings to my cards!
The next layer is Mint Macaron DSP that measured 2 X 4 1/2.
Then I added another piece of DSP. I'm not sure the measurement as it was left over from another project.
Lastly, I stamped my sentiment in Basic Black Archival ink which is now retired but I wanted a dark black color. Memento Ink does not stand up to this black as it's looks washed out.
I diecut my sentiment out with the Oval Layering Framelits and layered it onto a Basic Black Scallop Oval. I took some Black Enamel Dots from the retired Monster Bash Suite and added just 1 to each card to finish them up!

Card Details:

Stamps: Love What You Do (retired)
Ink: Basic Black Archival (retired)
Cardstock: Mint Macaron, Very Vanilla, Basic Black, Pretty Papers DSP (retired)
Accessories: Tasteful Textile 3D EF, Oval Layering Framelits, Monster Bash Basic Black Enamel Dots (retired), Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

My card lady loved them!
I know my pictures are a bit dark.
We've not had much sunshine in the last couple of weeks as it seemed like it snowed every other day!
It also does not help that my stamp room is in the basement with a very small window.
I'm not complaining as I love my stamp space, just hate the lack of natural daylight.

Card Order

 Hello & Happy Tuesday!

For the next couple of days I am going to share cards that I made for my recent card order.
My card lady does not mind me using my retired stash of stuff and always tells me to use it.
I do like to throw some of the newer stuff in there every once in awhile!
Today's cards use a retired set but in my opinion a great set from a few years ago called Happy Birthday, Gorgeous. Again, I left the paper do all the work because it's perfect for a Happy Birthday card!

I love Stampin Up! products but sometimes they retire things way too fast and things don't get used as fast so we have lots of stuff left. I try my hardest to use up my older things and times mixing it with new things. I'm sure we all have the same issue, right?!

This card starts out with a Berry Burst cardbase (remember that In Color from 2017?) Then I added a layer of Coastal Cabana that matched my Picture Perfect Party DSP nicely. I cut up 2 different prints from that pack of paper for my card to give it some interest then a piece of Berry Burst Metallic Edge Ribbon (retired) to cover where the 2 pieces meet. My sentiment comes from the Happy Birthday, Gorgeous stamp set and was stamped with Berry Burst ink and diecut out with a Circle Layering Framelit and layered onto a Berry Burst Scallop Circle. It sat nicely over top the ribbon & DSP. I kept everything flat for easier mailing for my card lady. Lastly, I added a Berry Burst Glittered Enamel Dot that is retired as well.

My card lady loved these and said that she could use them for a man or a woman's birthday!
She sends many & many cards out each week to friends, family and her church congregation.
She is certainly a breath of fresh air and always brightens my day when I see her!
She is one of those types of people that makes the world a better place!

Card Details:

Stamps: Happy Birthday, Gorgeous
Ink: Berry Burst (retired)
Cardstock: Berry Burst (retired), Coastal Cabana, Whisper White, Picture Perfect Party DSP (retired)
Accessories: Circle Layering Framelits, Berry Burst Metallic Edge Ribbon (retired), Glittered Enamel Dots (retired), Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I always enjoying getting out the old stuff and breathing new life into them!
If you could only see how much "old" stuff I have! LOL

Hope you liked this set, too!

Post It Note Holders

 Hello & Happy Monday!

Another snow day is upon us but not calling for much, 1-3 inches then it's to turn to plain rain as our temps will be going up this week! YAY!
One day it calls for 50 degrees! Bring it on!

Today I have something different than a card to share.
I made some Post It Notes after watching a video of how to make them with the added pen holder.
I never made them with the small pens attached. They are so simple and easy!

This one uses the Berry Blessings SaleABration Bundle.

This one uses the Sweet Strawberry Bundle.

This one uses the Dragonfly Garden Bundle.

This one uses the Butterfly Gala Bundle.

I will admit, these were so much fun to make and I made these 4 up in about 30 minutes.
I plan to make more because I have a whole big bag full of those little pens.
They make a great little gift!
I gave the 1st one to my card lady since it matched her gift bag that had her card order in.
She loved it and said it brightened her day!

Darling Donkeys

 Hello & Happy Sunday!

Hope your all having a nice weekend!
The sun is shining here brightly but don't let that fool you.....it's very cold!
Yesterday our high temp only got to the mid 20's and today it's to be low 30's.
Tomorrow more snow & rain is in the forecast.

Today I have a cute card to share made using the Darling Donkeys set from SaleABration!
At first I did not care for this set because I have some of the older animal sets and never used them.
Then I started seeing lots of cute things done with them so I ordered them. Took me awhile to finally ink them up but now I am glad I got them! They make for some cute projects!

I decided to use this set to make a Thank You card since it's one card I really need!
I also used a fun fold called a Corner Fold which is new to me.
This style fold you use cardstock measuring 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored at 4 1/4.
then once you burnish your cardstock you got to the right hand corner and measure down with a ruler to 3 1/2 and make a tic mark with a pencil. Then the top from the corner over you measure 3 1/2 and make another tic mark. Then you put the front of your card into the paper trimmer and score from one tic mark to the other and that creates your corner fold. Burnish that score mark down and decorate.

I decorated my corner fold flaps with 2 separate pieces that I diecut from the Ornate Borders Dies then added my donkey panel. I colored my Donkey with Gray Granite Stampin Blends and his face with Petal Pink Stampin Blends.

Card Details:

Stamps: Darling Donkeys (SAB 21), Curvy Celebrations (inside)
Ink: Memento Black, Bermuda Bay, Gray Granite & Petal Pink Stampin Blends
Cardstock: Bermuda Bay, Whisper White, Oh So Ombre DSP (SAB 21)
Accessories: Circle Layering Framelits, Ornate Border Dies, Bermuda Bay Taffeta Ribbon (retired), Glue Dot, Rhinestones, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I think this turned out to be a cute Thank You card and it will mail flat!

Corner Bouquet

 Hello & Happy Saturday!

Can you believe it snowed half the day yesterday then the sun came out for maybe 2 hours!
Crazy! Today it's to be sunny but cold out....I just hope it's enough to melt the snow!
I have a bunch of errands to do today then home to hibernate, maybe do some stamping!

Before I head out this morning I have a card to share I made earlier this week using the SaleABration set, Corner Bouquet. I love this silhouette image as it reminds me of a Stampendous stamp I had years ago.

I started by using my Corner Bouquet stamp in my Stamparatus which worked very well!
If it did not stamp well the first time it was easy to reink the stamp and stamp again for a perfect image!
Then I added the sentiment from the Peaceful Moments set.

I went in search of ribbon to match my monochromatic card and had nothing so I pulled out my Silver Metallic Edge Ribbon and colored it with my Rococo Rose Stampin Blends.
It worked like a charm!

Card Details:

Stamps: Corner Bouquet (SAB 21), Peaceful Moments
Ink: Rococo Rose, Rococo Rose Stampin Blend Dark
Cardstock: Rococo Rose, Whisper White, Oh So Ombre DSP (SAB 21)
Accessories: Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Silver Metallic Edge Ribbon, Glue Dots, Stamparatus, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I was so pleased with how these turned out!
They will go on my card rack for sale.
But isn't that paper and the Corner Stamp so pretty together?!

Touch My Heart Sympathy

 Hello & Happy Friday!

We made it to the weekend!
Yesterday we had about 5 inches of snow so it was another yuk day in my book!
The sun is to come out later today so let's hope it starts to melt it.
I spent all day at my stamp table.
I finally had time to play with some SaleABration sets and make some pretty cool things!

Today I have a sympathy card to share that I made for a friend's family.
I talked the other day of getting a card made for them.

I used a Hostess set from the 2020-2021 Stampin Up! Annual Catalog called Touch My Heart.
I paired it with some Paper Blooms DSP from the 2021 SaleABration Catalog.

I left the paper do all the work on this one!
So glad that Stampin Up! gives us all these beautiful papers so all we need to do is add a sentiment and it's done!
The saying & butterfly are from the Touch My Heart stamp set.
Another great set that I need to use more!

Card Details:

Stamps: Touch My Heart
Ink: Night of Navy, Rococo Rose
Cardstock: Night of Navy, Petal Pink, Whisper White, Paper Blooms DSP
Accessories: Old World Paper 3D EF, Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Rhinestones, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue
