Celebrate July 4th

 Happy Wednesday, Everyone!

Just a quick post today then I have a list a mile long of things I need to get done today!
Over the weekend I sat and made a pack of July 4th cards and had a few leftover pieces of patterned paper that came from Hobby Lobby, so I made 4 extra cards for myself. I loved how these turned out and hope you will too!

Card Details:

Stamps: Light the Sky (retired)
Ink: Blueberry Bushel, Real Red
Cardstock: Blueberry Bushel, Real Red, Basic White, The Paper Studio (Hobby Lobby)
Accessories: Stitched Stars Dies (retired), Starstruck EF (retired SAB 25), Give It A Whirl Dies (retired), Rhinestones, Mini Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I would have made more if I had more of the patterned paper.
I usually try to make cards to send out for the July 4th holiday and so far this is the only ones I made this year. If time allows maybe today I can get a few more made! LOL
Hard to believe we are nearing the end of June already and next Friday is July 4th! It only time would slow down just a little!!!

Do you make cards for the July 4th holiday?

That's all I have for today!
Thanks for taking a bit of time out of your day to visit!
Have a great day & stay cool!

Love You...To The Moon & Back

 Good Monday Morning, Friends!

Hope you had a nice weekend!
It was quite cold here, even had a dose of sleet/freezing rain last evening! Today we are suppose to get into the low 50's and it will surely feel like springtime!

Today I am sharing a set of cards that I made Audrey for her Valentine's Day set.
She requested a half moon & a heart on the front with the saying " Love you to the moon & back". I thought for sure I had a saying with that on but no where in my collection of stamps could I find one. I eventually asked a friend if she had any and she had a die that she sent me to complete the cards. I was SO thankful for her help!! And this was the finished product...

Card Details:

Stamps: Forever Lovely (sentiment-retired)
Ink: Basic Black Archival (retired), Daffodil Delight
Cardstock: Real Red, Daffodil Delight, Basic White, Basic Black, Bee Mine DSP
Accessories: 2" Circle Punch, Give it a Whirl Dies (retired), Circle Layering Framelits (retired), Unknown Branded Die, Adhesive Sheets, Blending Brushes, Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

When I first got started on this set I was a little bit stressed but once I received the die in the mail for the sentiment it all came together nicely and I had the best time making them!
This was all she ordered for Valentine's Day this year along with 2 cards for the great granddaughters. I'm assuming that this set is going to her family as she did not say but she loved them!

Today I am headed back to my stamp table to work on some card kits for a get together with the girls. I keep wanting to get a day scheduled but then they keep calling for bad weather and I know the girls will not travel in icy, snowy roads. One day winter will be over, right?
I'm still dealing with my head cold which seems to be good one day and then the next feel yukky. Ryan now is suffering with this cold as he slept most of the day yesterday. Dayquil/Nyquil always hits him pretty hard. Let's hope today is a better day for him!

Moon Baby Shower Card

 Hello & Happy Wednesday!

This week seems to be flying by! I have been busy with Audrey's card order and getting my house straightened up. Saturday I am having a Stamp Day w/ Friends get together so I am working feverishly to get this card order wrapped up. I hope today to get it finished and make a small little Easter treat to put in with her bag of cards as a Thank You.
I wanted to share a baby shower card that I made Audrey a few months ago using the Moon Baby stamp set. She gave me the invitation to make something similar.

Audrey loved it and asked for another one on this month's order. I don't have very much in baby stamps and hope soon we get some nice stamp sets! She also requested the Welcome Baby card to go with this the baby shower card so she had it on hand when the baby was born. I will share that one tomorrow.

Card Details:

Stamps: Moon Baby (retired)
Ink: Memento Black, Stampin Blends-Pink Pirouette (retired), Daffodil Delight & Ivory
Cardstock: Pink Pirouette (retired), Basic White, Gold Foil Paper
Accessories: Give It A Whirl Dies, Pink Pirouette Enamel Stars (retired), Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Friendly Gnomes Valentine

 Hello & Happy Fri-YAY!

I have a busy day ahead as I need to get ready for my Stamp Day w/ Friends tomorrow so i'm gonna get right to it!
I have a cute card to share today that I made using the Friendly Gnomes stamp set.
It is a new set in the 2023 January-April Mini Catalog.
The coordinating dies came out in the Holiday Mini Catalog and coordinated with the Kindest Gnomes stamp set. The dies carried over and go perfectly with the Friendly Gnomes set, too!

Card Details:

Stamps: Friendly Gnomes
Ink: Memento Black, Mossy Meadow, Stampin Blends-Sweet Sorbet, Mossy Meadow, Pale Papaya, Petal Pink
Cardstock: Sweet Sorbet, Basic White, Mossy Meadow, Country Lane Floral DSP
Accessories: Tasteful Texture 3D EF, Gnome Dies, Stylish Shapes Dies, Circle Layering Framelits, Give It A Whirl Dies, Pale Papaya Ribbon, Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This card will be going to Shawn for Valentines Day since he loves the gnomes!
I am not a fan of them but they seem to be growing on me.

This card was for a challenge over at Kitchen Table Stamper from last week.
She challenged us to use our DSP paper scraps to create a card.
We all have paper scraps but I think we were to use the bigger pieces for our card.
I was late getting my card made so I was not able to get in on the challenge but happy to still play along! She made her card using the Friendly Gnomes stamp set and the Butterfly Kisses DSP with the springy colors in. I was thinking more of Valentines Day for mine.
It turned out cute and I am happy with it! And it gave me a chance to use the Friendly Gnomes set!

So today I am sharing a cute card that Audrey requested for a couple that has been married for 50 years! She said they love music so I had to dig out my retired For The Record stamp set and got to work...

I got her card order delivered last evening and she just loved this card and said that the people it is for is going to love it, too!

Sharing Sunshine

 Good Morning & Happy Fri-YAY!!

I'm always happy when Friday's roll around!
Today my hubby is off so who knows what we will get into.
It's to be another hot & humid day with no end in sight.
I'm so ready for Fall and cooler weather!

I have my 5th and last card from last Saturday's Stamp Day w/ Friends get together.
This one uses the retired Sharing Sunshine set which was one of my favorites that will be staying in my collection!

Card Details:

Stamps: Sharing Sunshine (retired)
Ink: So Saffron, Mango Melody, Flirty Flamingo, Blushing Bride, Memento Black
Cardstock: So Saffron, Basic White, Flirty Flamingo, Pattern Party DSP (retired)
Accessories: Circle Layering Framelits, Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Give It A Whirl Dies, Stitched Whimsy Dies, Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This was such a fun card to make with the girls and there was alot of diecutting that I did ahead of time. The only thing they had to diecut was the sunshine.

Retiring Stamp Day #6

 Hello & Happy Saturday!

Hope your weekend is off to a good start!

I have card #6 to share using another Stampin Up retired stamp set!
This is the What's Cookin' stamp set with coordinating Cookin' Dies.
It is on page 34 of the current Stampin Up! catalog.
I haven't used this set all that much since I got it a few months ago!
I bought it to do some Christmas treats but then life happened and I never got to make them.
Maybe this year I will!!!

Card Details:

Stamps: What's Cookin'
Ink: Gray Granite, Real Red
Cardstock: Gray Granite, Real Red, Basic Black, Basic White, Silver Foil Paper, In Good Taste DSP
Accessories: Cookin' Dies, Hippo & Friends Dies, Circle Layering Framelits, Give It A Whirl Dies, Black & White Gingham Ribbon, Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Don't you just love that adorable embossed cutting board?
I think it's my favorite thing about this card!
The In Good Taste DSP is retiring after a 2 year run with Stampin Up!
I still have a good bit of this paper left since it is a big paper pad but I will continue using it for masculine cards when needed.

I am going to send this card to Kelsey with a recipe tucked inside.
I am not sure if she has a recipe box or not but i'm sure she will enjoy it!

Christmas Gift Card Holders

 Hello & Happy Thursday!

Today I have 2 Christmas gift card holders to share.
This year I seemed to have needed more than usual!

This one uses the Christmas Season & the Christmas to Remember stamp sets.
I so love these 2 sets!
This one went to our neighbors with a gift card in it for a local restaurant that they like to go to!

This one uses the Perfectly Plaid stamp set and a retired set called The Greatest Part of Christmas. This one went to the girl that does my hair.

I have a few more that I will share tomorrow so I hope you will stop back!
