Birthday Wishes Simply Zinnia's

 Hello & Happy Wednesday, Friends!

So sorry for the late update today! I have been busy wrapping up the last of my card kits for tomorrow's Stamp Day get together. I am all ready now!

Last evening I got Audrey's card order delivered to her. She looked so good and is anxiously awaiting some Fall weather! Aren't we all! LOL I am so blessed to have her in my life and have found a friend that I will treasure for the rest of my life.
The set of cards I am sharing was part of the order I made her as she has been on a roll with requesting the Zinnia cards!

I finally got brave and gave it a shot at coloring those pretty floral images!
Audrey really loved these and thanked me for all the hard work on coloring them!

Card Details:

Nathan's Wedding Card

 Good Morning & Happy Thursday!

I am off to a dentist appointment first thing this morning, just for a cleaning.
After today I won't be going back until i'm ready for my next cleaning in 6 months. I have almost all of my dental work completed. I have one crown left to be replaced and decided I will wait until sometime next year to do it. Kelsey & Shady will be moving out next week and we have a few things around the house that need to be taken care of before winter arrives. It's always something when you own a home, isn't it?

Today I have a pretty card to share with you!
Audrey called with her next card order and she requested one for her grandson who is getting married Labor Day weekend. She gave me the wedding invite and I looked high & low for DSP that looked like it but came up empty handed. So, this is what I made for her.

Card Details:

Stamps: Suite Sayings (retired)
Ink: Mossy Meadow
Cardstock: Thick Very Vanilla, Very Vanilla, Petal Promenade DSP (retired)
Accessories: Nested Essentials Dies, Everyday Label Punch (retired), Crochet Trim Chantilly Lace (retired), Very Vanilla Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I talked to her about this card and she said she will love whatever I make for her.
I'm alittle unsure of the lace trim on this though. I wanted to add some because after all it's a wedding card. I tied it into a bow at first but it bulked up the card too much so I just added it laying under the sentiment. I think every wedding card has to have lace on it!

My thoughts today...

My thoughts are with my sweet card lady, Audrey, as her cancer has returned.
She starts treatment today and i'm praying all goes smoothly for her.
If you recall, last summer she was doing treatment and suddenly went into shock and decided to stopped all treatments. She said at 92 she lived a long, happy life and has been blessed by the good Lord in so many ways. She recently found out her cancer has returned and told her Oncologist that she has to be around for so many life events coming up in next year and agreed to start treatment! She has 3 grandchildren getting married in the next several months and a granddaughter who is expecting her 2nd great grandchild to be born in November! So, yes, she has alot of life events coming up and I know if I was in her shoes i'd wanna be here to experience them with my family! I'm wishing her all the luck in the world and pray for her that she gets thru this.
I'll update you if I hear anything but please keep her in your thoughts & prayers!

Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!

Post It Notes

 Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Yesterday I got all my housework done then Shawn & I went out for supper.
It turned out to be a nice day with lots of sunshine but there was a bit of a breeze that kept it on the cool side. Gigi & Bailee certainly loved being out in the yard soaking up the sun! We still have a tiny bit of snow left in the yard where the sun doesn't hit too much but I bet by tomorrow it will be gone. They are calling for 60-65 degrees today so I hope to get out to walk.
Shawn is home today.
His Restless Leg Syndrome (RLS) had him up most of the night so of course he is sleeping now!
I do believe that he needs a medication change.
Kelsey also has RLS and is on a different medication than him.

Today I am sharing more of those cute Post It Note Holders that have the pen attached!
I just love these and think they re such a brilliant idea to keep the pen attached.

This first one uses the Friends Are Like Seashells Bundle.

These are the same as the ones I shared the other day except the cardstock colors are different as is the  Sand & Sea DSP.

Project Details:

Stamps: Friends Are Like Seashells

Cardstock: Seaside Spray, Blushing Bride, Whisper White, Crumb Cake, Sand & Sea DSP
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits, Circle Layering Framelits, Everyday Label Punch, Tasteful Textile 3D EF, Snowflake Splendor Ribbon (retired), Rhinestones, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This one uses the In Bloom Bundle.

Cardstock: Night of Navy, Seaside Spray, Rococo Rose, Old Olive, Whisper White, Paper Blooms DSP (SAB 21)

These are so fun to make!

Post It Note Holders

 Hello & Happy Monday!

Another snow day is upon us but not calling for much, 1-3 inches then it's to turn to plain rain as our temps will be going up this week! YAY!
One day it calls for 50 degrees! Bring it on!

Today I have something different than a card to share.
I made some Post It Notes after watching a video of how to make them with the added pen holder.
I never made them with the small pens attached. They are so simple and easy!

This one uses the Berry Blessings SaleABration Bundle.

This one uses the Sweet Strawberry Bundle.

This one uses the Dragonfly Garden Bundle.

This one uses the Butterfly Gala Bundle.

I will admit, these were so much fun to make and I made these 4 up in about 30 minutes.
I plan to make more because I have a whole big bag full of those little pens.
They make a great little gift!
I gave the 1st one to my card lady since it matched her gift bag that had her card order in.
She loved it and said it brightened her day!

Labels to Love

Good Morning, Everyone!
Happy Wednesday!

I'm up early this morning to get my housework done and to get my Stampin Up order in!
Today is the first day to order from the Holiday Mini Catalog and I will tell you that it is a really good one!  I have been saving up for today and ordered a bunch of new goodies! It also helps that my birthday was yesterday and I got cash for gifts!

Before my day gets busy I wanted to share another set of Christmas cards I made over the summer.
This set uses all retired products.

Labels to Love is a set that was out a few years ago and had the coordinating Everyday Label Punch which I used a bunch! It has stamps for a bunch of different holidays.
My card also uses the retired Quilted EF. This is one of my favorite embossing folders as I love the design of it!
This also uses last years paper called Farmhouse Christmas DSP. I used the daylights out of this pack last year and i'm down to scraps now.

Card Details:

Stamps: Labels to Love (retired)
Ink: Mossy Meadow
Cardstock: Thick Very Vanilla, Cherry Cobbler, Mossy Meadow, Very Vanilla, Farmhouse Christmas DSP
Accessories: Quilted EF, Everyday Label Punch, Triple Banner Punch, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Gold Trimmed Ribbon, Gold Metallic Pearls, Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I think this set is one of my favorites with that embossing folder and pretty papers!
And I really like this design!
Hope you like them too!

Going to get it all done so when the new goodies come I can sit and play for a few days!

Labels to Love Marshmellow Santa's

Good Morning & Happy Wednesday!

Hope your week is going well!
Last evening we had a girls night out at Chili's to meet up with the stamp girls!
Our stamp get together's have fallen apart over the last few years but it was really nice being able to see the girls again and talk like we use too! We had a great group of ladies and i'm thankful that stamping brought all of us together. That is the best part about stamping.....the friendships you make!

Today I am sharing another sweet treat I made for Christmas.
These would be awesome as a stocking stuffer!

I found these Russell Stover Marshmellow Santa's at my local grocery store and fell in love with them!
The print on the wrapper is adorable!!
And also to mention...they were 2 for $1.00!

Project Details:

Stamps: Labels to Love
Ink: Call Me Clover
Cardstock: Call Me Clover, Whisper White, All is Bright DSP
Accessories: Everyday Label Punch, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Cello Bags, Call Me Clover Grosgrain Ribbon, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

So quick & easy to put together and sure to make anyone smile this holiday season!
Aren't they cute?

Gold Embossed Card

Hello & Happy Sunday!

Hope your having a great weekend!

I have SO many cool projects to share with you!
I just hope I can fit them all in before Christmas arrives in 8 days!

This card today is one I made with my stamp friends at our last get together of the year.
I was on a roll with using lots of Gold & Silver on these projects and the girls loved them!
Here is the first one...

I apologize for the glare in the pictures but with using the foil paper it's hard to get a good shot.
In real life this card is a real beauty with all the gold! I personally think all Christmas cards need a touch (or more) of gold & silver on them for sparkle! This one is loaded in gold!

Merry Christmas Gold Card:

Stamps: Label to Love
Ink: Versamark
Cardstock: Thick Whisper White, Gold Foil, Year of Cheer Specialty DSP
Accessories: Everyday Label Punch, Gold Foil Snowflakes, Gold Embossing Powder, Heat Gun, Gold Metallic Enamel Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This card is completely flat for mailing which is nice at this time of year!
Stay tuned this week for more Gold/Silver cards!
You won't want to miss seeing them!

Sure is!

That's all for now!

Wood Crate & Labels to Love

Hello & Happy Saturday!

We have been hit 3 times this past week with snow.
I hope that's not a sign of things to come especially since winter hasn't even arrived here yet!

Today I have a treat to share. This one I have to say steals the show!
I finally broke out my Wood Crate Framelits and packaged up some candy for a nice little gift!

I was so giddy when making these and my only suggestion would be to use a heavier cardstock. I used the Wood Textures DSP Paper Stack and while it's wonderful having that wood look, the paper is pretty flimsy especially for having a cello bag in it filled with candy. Live & learn, right?

Merry Christmas Wood Crates:

Stamps: Labels to Love
Ink: Garden Green
Cardstock: Whisper White, Wood Textures DSP Paper Stack
Accessories: Wood Crate Framelits, Everyday Label Punch, Gold Rhinestones, Cello Bags, Real Red Twine, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I also put a bit of shredded paper in the bottom of these for decoration.
I thought these were so fun! I will definitely be using this Framelit again soon!

Those snowmen are cute and made me giggle!

That's all for now!

Give Thanks

Hello & Happy Sunday!

Hope your all having a great weekend!

It's a cold one here!
Yesterday we did not leave the house once and just had a nice relaxing day after we cleaned out the storage room! That was a job in itself but one that needed to be done.

We are less than 2 weeks away from Thanksgiving! I am headed out today to pick up my turkey breast and grab some goodies to go along with it. Next week I will make a pumpkin pie and possibly a pumpkin roll. I have a stamp get together with the ladies next weekend so I may make my pumpkin roll early and serve at our get together!

So speaking of Thanksgiving....today I have another very quick card to share from our last stamp day.
Take a look...

This card uses the Painted Autumn DSP with the stamp set from the Holiday Mini Catalog called Labels to Love. The Cajun Craze cardstock under the sentiment is the Everyday Label Punch that is from the same mini catalog. I added 2 Gold Metallic Enamel Dots to finish this off. I always have to have a bit of bling on a card!

Give Thanks Card:

Stamps: Labels to Love
Ink: Early Espresso
Cardstock: Early Espresso, Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry, Very Vanilla, Painted Autumn DSP
Accessories: Everyday Label Punch, Circle Layering Framelits, Gold Metallic Enamel Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I am thrilled that I have Thanksgiving cards made to send out this year!
My stamp get together with the girls has made this possible!

My thoughts today.....

Yep!

Anyways, I hope you all enjoy what's left of the weekend and thanks for stopping by!
