Mother's Day for a Friend

 Hello & Happy Wednesday, Friends!

Hope your week is going well so far! We are in for a rainy day then some cooler air is to arrive, again. We've been all over the place with temperatures in the last month or so. I crave the days of sunshine & 70's!

Today I have a card to share that I made that Audrey requested for a lady friend that loves her cats! If you've seen all the cat cards I've made in the last year that is whom all those cat cards are for. She wanted a cat card for a Mother's Day for her friend and this is what I made...

Card Details:

Stamps: Cheerful Basket (retired 2022), Sentiment from a retired Paper Pumpkin Kit (April 2019)
Ink: Calypso Coral, Petal Pink
Cardstock: Calypso Coral, Petal Pink, Basic White, Lovely & Beautiful Specialty DSP
Accessories: Oval Layering Framelits (retired), Circle Layering Framelits (retired), Full Basket Dies (retired 2022), Mini Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Truth be told....I wasn't quite sure on this card. She asked for a cat with a bonnet on which I had nothing like that in my stash. I never used this cat image before (kinda forgot I had it) and I know she does not like all the bells & whistles on her cards (meaning no ribbon & rhinestones) so I used this particular sheet of paper that has some gold foil in it to dress it up and make it sparkle. To my surprise, Audrey really loved it! I offered to make her another card if she did not like this one and she said NO WAY! I love it!
Phew! Sometimes her requests really throw me off and I worry whether or not she will like them. LOL Yes, card making for other people really stresses me out!

Abundant Beauty Decorative Masks

Good Morning & Happy Tuesday, Everyone!

I had a productive day at my stamp table yesterday afternoon!
I pulled out the new Abundant Beauty Decorative Masks that will be available September 6th to customers. These are in the 2023 Holiday Mini Catalog and they are on page 47. If you blink you will miss them at least that's what I did. I put in 2 preorders because I missed these on the first order. This set of masks has these beautiful sunflowers, leaves, snowflakes and a houndstooth mask. Perfect for Fall!
Today I am using the sunflowers.
Audrey requested a pack of cards with a cat on them. One Birthday, one Thank You and the rest plain. This is what a made for her...

The cat is from the Cheerful Basket Bundle that retired in May.
The Thank You card looks the same so I did not take a picture of it.

Card Details:

Stamps: Amazing Year (retired), Cheerful Basket
Ink: Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, Pecan Pie, Garden Green
Cardstock: Pecan Pie, Basic White
Accessories: Full Basket Dies (Retired), Stylish Shapes Dies, Abundant Beauty Decorative Masks, Blending Brushes, Brushed Brass Butterflies, Linen Thread, Dimensionals, Post It Note Tape, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

These are the plain ones...

Sending Get Well Cheer

Hello & Happy Sunday!

Hope your day is off to a good start even with the loss of that hour. It's a bit of a rough start here but we will get use to it. I am looking forward to longer days of daylight for sure! Clouds are moving in this morning as rain is on our doorstep today thru tomorrow. We've sure had alot of rain this winter which i'm so glad was not snow.
Today I have a card to share that I made a few weeks ago to put on my card rack. I randomly pulled out some of the Waves of the Ocean DSP and reached for my Butterfly Brilliance stamp set. Here is the end result...

Card Details:

Stamps: Butterfly Brilliance, Cheerful Basket (saying)
Ink: Bermuda Bay
Cardstock: Bermuda Bay, Basic White, Waves of the Ocean DSP (retired)
Accessories: Scalloped Contour Dies, Brilliant Wings Dies, Waves Rhinestones, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I'm not sure why I made this into a Get Well card but i'm guessing that was what I was feeling that day! So many people have been sick this winter and I wanted to make sure I had a good supply on hand.
