Global Design Project #186

Hello & Happy Sunday!

Hope your weekend is going well.
Yesterday it got really windy so we put off power washing the house and cleaning windows.
Not sure when we will get to that.
Today they are calling for rain, again!

Since my Saturday ended up with nothing to do, I went down to my stamp table.
I had 2 projects to finish up for next week's class.
After I got that done I decided to stamp!

Here is a sketch I found from Global Design Project #186

I loved the Coffee Cafe bundle that came out a few years ago and sadly Stampin Up retired it last year. It's another one of those sets that will live on in my stamp room!

Card Details:

Stamps: Coffee Cafe
Ink: Garden Green, Soft Sky (retired), Early Espresso
Cardstock: Early Espresso, Garden Green, Whisper White, Coffee Break DSP (retired)
Accessories: Coffee Cup Framelits (retired), Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Square Layering Framelits, Subtle EF, Corrugated Elements, 1/2 Circle Punch, Santa's Workshop Enamel Dots (retired), Linen Thread, Glue Dots, Mini Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I wasn't quite sure what sentiment to put on this so I used the "Hi" from the same stamp set.
I punched it out with a 1/2 Circle Punch and layered it on a Corrugated Element.

What a fun challenge!

It might be a nap for me!

Grocery Notepads

Hello & Happy Saturday!

Yesterday I started my Light Therapy for my Psoriasis.
It went well and was just like going to a tanning bed to tan.
I started out at a half a second then when I go back next week they up the time as long as your not getting burnt.
I am doing a light therapy that is called Narrow Band UVB which is said to show better results within a few weeks as long as your consistent with it. I got 3 months of this and hoping for the best!

Today I have a fun project to share with you!
A few months back I went to my local Staples store and had then cut a pack of notepads in half so I could decorate them for gifts.
I pulled out a bunch of them last week and created some cool grocery list notepads with some retired  products.

Take a look....

This notepad uses the Coffee Cafe stamp set that is still current.
This stamp set also has matching Framelits.
The Coffee Break DSP however is long retired.
The sentiment is from Papertreyink.

This notepad uses retired products from a few years back.
Cool Treats is the name of the stamp set and also has matching Framelits.
The paper is Tasty Treats Specialty DSP.

Always fun making something other than cards!

Coffee Cafe

Hello & Happy Thursday!

The weekend is getting closer!
This week started out pretty nice but the last 2 days we have had storms and lots of rain!
Tomorrow they are calling for a deluge of rain which has prompted flood watches.
Besides the rain, our grass is growing like weeds and with several more days of rain coming....not sure when it will get mowed. I told Shawn he better soon build his ark...we're gonna need it!

So, today I have a card to share that the girls made at our last get together.
We all love our coffee so I wanted to use the Coffee Cafe Bundle.

This was one of the first sets I got when the SU Annual Catalog became available last year. I don't think I used it too much through out the year. I decided to put it to good use with the girls and they enjoyed putting this one together!

Card Details:

Stamps: Coffee Cafe
Ink: Early Espresso, Soft Suede
Cardstock: Thick Whisper White, Crumb Cake, Whisper White, Coffee Break DSP
Accessories: Coffee Cup Thinlits, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Circle Layering Framelits, Old Olive Enamel Hearts, Early Espresso 1/8 Taffeta Ribbon, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Life happens....Coffee helps!
Most definitely!

My thoughts today.....

I was up with my hubby this morning and got him off to work.
2 seconds after he pulls out of the driveway I realized he forgot his coffee!
I had to call him to come back & get it. He said....it's going to be one of those kind of days!
For his sake, I hope not!

That's all for now!
Thanks for stopping by & have a wonderful day!

Coffee Cafe Cup Carrier

Hello & Happy Friday!

Today I have a treat to share that I whipped up with the Coffee Cafe bundle.
You know I love making the Coffee Cup Carriers!

This bundle is one of the best that I have seen with several different coffee stamps, the dies that cut them out and the beautiful patterned paper! Since I am a coffee drinker, this set was worth every cent to me!
While at Walmart last weekend I found these Werther's Original Caramel Coffee Candies, perfect to fill my small coffee cup with. I have to say that these candies are addicting, too! YUM!

My tag was created with the Wide Oval Punch that I used to punch the handle out. I diecut a small coffee cup from a sheet of the Coffee Break DSP Pack and added it to my tag. The sentiment came from the Pocketfull of Sunshine stamp set. I added a small clear rhinestone to the heart on the small coffee cup. The tag was added to the holder with a Gold Clip. My bow is Pear Pizzazz Shimmer Ribbon that I added with a glue dot to my clip.

Such a fun set!
I just wanna sit and make lots more of these!!

Coffee Cafe

Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Another absolutely gorgeous day here! I hated to go to the basement to stamp today but I went anyways! Our weather has been a 10+ the last several days and tomorrow will be the last of it before the heat & humidity makes another appearance.

My card today is one I have had rattling around in my head since I ordered the Coffee Cafe Bundle that is in the new Stampin Up! catalog. It is a wonderful set that coordinates with Framelits and some beautiful DSP!

This particular cup is so much like the Perfect Blend coffee cup that Stampin Up! had out a few years ago and the nice thing about this set is that there is a matching framelit to cut it out! Oh, and there is a pack of paper that has such pretty colors/prints in it! I love everything about this bundle!!

Coffee Cafe Card:

Stamps: Coffee Cafe
Ink: Early Espresso, Soft Sky
Cardstock: Soft Sky, Thick Whisper White, Coffee Break DSP
Accessories: Coffee Cup Framelits, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Corrugated Elements, Pear Pizzazz Shimmery Ribbon, Gold Nailhead Stickers, Glue Dots, Mini Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue
