Pineapple Punch

Hello & Happy Friday!

The muggy weather is back today and my AC has been turned back on.
I was just saying to my neighbor last evening how nice the last 2 days were.
I heard we are back to rain everyday for the next week but that is one thing we really need!
Our grass is brown.

So, today I have a quick card using an old set called Fresh Fruits from 2005.
I paired it with a new In Color called Pineapple Punch.

Pineapple Punch is literally the color of pineapples...almost reminds me of YoYo Yellow from back in the day! It's pretty bright!
Anyone else remember that color?

If you look closely under the pineapple panel I have snuck in a piece of Pineapple Punch cardstock that was embossed with the Petal Pairs Embossing Folder. I placed my panel on a slant just to add some texture to my card.

Card Details:

Stamps: Fresh Fruits (retired)
Ink: Pineapple Punch, Garden Green, Early Espresso
Cardstock: Pineapple Punch, Whisper White, Pineapple Punch DSP (In Color DSP)
Accessories: Petal Pair EF, Pineapple Punch 1/8 Grosgrain Ribbon, Glue Dots, Rhinestones, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I wanted to make some "Welcome to the Neighborhood" or "Congrats on Your New Home" style cards for on my card rack and I really love the pineapple stamp for that!
I know it's an old stamp set but it still makes some of the nicest cards!
I guess that is why I still have SO many older stamp sets in my collection!
I just cannot part with them!

My thoughts today....

Seems fitting to go with my Pineapple card today!

That is all for now!
Thanks for stopping by & enjoy your Friday!

Everythings Coming Up Peaches Today....

Hello & Happy Thursday!

As hot & humid as it's been I have been spending alot of time in my craft room this week.
After I take a break from stamping I find that once I get back to it that I have a hard time getting started. Once I get back at it then i'm usually on a roll. That is how things have gone this week!
Yesterday I spent most of the day stamping.
I have a pack of cards to share today that I made for a gift.

I snagged another pack of the Fruit Stand DSP off the Retiring List before it was gone forever. I love the summery prints in this paper and quite frankly, I was not sure I could live without! LOL
I decided to make a set up for a nice gift of all occasion cards and I will either make a box or package them up in a cello bag and make it fancy to give away.

All Occasion Card Set:

Stamps: Fresh Fruit, Warmest Regards
Ink: Peekaboo Peach, Pear Pizzazz, Basic Black
Cardstock: Thick Whisper White, Peekaboo Peach, Pear Pizzazz, Whisper White, Fruit Stand DSP
Accessories: Brick Wall EF, Lots of Labels Framelits, Peachaboo Peach Ruched Ribbon, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Love You More

Hello & Happy Friday!

The start to the weekend has come!
It's to be a warm but half decent weekend here so hopefully we will be able to get out on the bikes!

Today I have yet another Double Fold Gate card to share.
This one I really liked!

Here is the link to Dawn Olchefske's video tutorial on how to make this card. Believe me, it's very quick & simple and her directions are easy to understand.

For this card I used the Fruit Stand DSP, which by the way is so pretty! Love each design and the colors in it! I used my Fresh Fruit stamp set and some Flirty Flamingo Ruched Ribbon for my bow on the front. This entire Fruit Stand line has a wonderful summery feel to it from pretty flowers to yummy summertime fruits! Love it!

Love You More Card:

Stamps: Fresh Fruit
Ink: Basic Black Archival, Flirty Flamingo
Cardstock: Flirty Flamingo, Pear Pizzazz, Whisper White, Fruit Stand DSP
Accessories: Flirty Flamingo Ruched Ribbon, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Liquid Glue

If your looking for something different, give this type of card a try!
I promise, you will love it!

Enjoy your weekend, friends!

Thanks for stopping by!

More Fresh Fruit

Hello & Happy Thursday!

Hope your all having a good week so far!

Today I have more Fresh Fruit to share with you!
This time it's peaches!

I am a big fan of peaches!
Love them freshly cut up on ice cream or a good peach cobbler.
I may just have to make a batch of peach jelly this summer just so I can decorate the jar!
This set has so many possibilities! There is a pear, flowers, and a boatload of sentiments in the set. The DSP ( Designer Series Paper) is also very pretty!

The sentiment on this card is from Papertreyink.

You Are A Peach Card:

Stamps: Fresh Fruit, Papertreyink (sentiment)
Ink: Peekaboo Peach, Pear Pizzazz, Basic Black Archival
Cardstock: Peekaboo Peach, Pear Pizzazz, Whisper White, Fruit Stand DSP
Accessories: Gold Circle Clip, Peekaboo Peach Ruched Ribbon, Dimensionals, Tombow Liquid Glue

Thanks for stopping by & have a wonderful day!

Fresh Fruit

Hello & Happy Wednesday!

A new stamp set arrived yesterday and of course I had some time to ink it up!
Fresh Fruit and the Fruit Stand line grabbed my eye in the new catalog because we usually go picking strawberries every year to make jelly. And there is a peach stamp too! I have made peach jelly in years past as well. Great set for decorating my jars!

Happy Birthday Strawberry Card:

Stamps: Fresh Fruit
Ink: Watermelon Wonder, Cucumber Crush, Basic Black Archival
Cardstock: Cucumber Crush, Watermelon Wonder, Whisper White, Fruit Stand DSP
Accessories: Brick Wall EF, Cucumber Crush Thick Twine, Glue Dots, 2 Sided Tape

Yes it is!

Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!
