Oh My Fright Treat

 Hello & Happy Sunday!

We are in for a stormy day so I'm not so sure we will get out for a walk or bike ride.
One day earlier this week we popped into a local grocery store to grab a few things and I found that the store already had some Halloween candies out on the shelves! I was kinda shocked by that being that it was only the end of July. I saw a box of one of my favorite candies all decorated for Halloween and I grabbed a few boxes of them...

And so my mind went directly to our Stampin Up! Halloween selection this year and I thought, how perfect! This is what I made with these cute little boxes...

The box really did not need much more so I just put a belly band around the center where the words were and decorated it with my friendly little ghost and added a few bats to finish it up!

Project Details:

Stamps: Oh My Fright (July Online Exclusives)
Ink: Basic Gray
Cardstock: Smoky Slate, Basic Black, Very Vanilla, Frightfully Fun DSP (July Online Exclusives)
Accessories: Oh My Fright Dies ( July Online Exclusives), Beautifully Celebrated Dies, Black Iridescent Ribbon (July Online Exclusives), Adhesive Backed Bats, Ghosts & Dots (July Online Exclusives), Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Cute, right?

A Fun Challenge W/ Vicki

 Hello & Happy Fri-YAY, Friends!

I'm ready for the weekend! Are you?
Tomorrow I am attending a Tesla event with Shawn and then hoping to get to pick some blueberries to freeze. I eat blueberries almost everyday so they will be a nice treat over the winter months.

Today my dear friend, Vicki & I are sharing a fun challenge....to make a candy dispenser box!
I haven't made one of these in quite a few years so this was fun! Since the 4th of July is coming quickly I decided to make mine with Red, White & Blue. It also helped that I had a bag of Red, White & Blue M&M's to put to good use!

Project Details:

Stamps: More Great Greetings (retired 1993), God Bless America (retired 2001)
Ink: Pacific Point (retired), Real Red & Pacific Point Stampin Write Markers (retired)
Cardstock: Real Red, Basic White, Pacific Point, Pacific Point DSP (retired 2023)
Accessories: Star Blast Edgelits Dies (retired 2019), Nested Essentials Dies, Stylish Shapes Dies, Circle Layering Framelits (retired), Rhinestones, Red, White & Blue Ribbon (from stash), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Vicki & I talked about doing this challenge using Halloween & Christmas products, too!
That will be so much fun!
Hope you will stop by Vicki's blog to see what she created for the Candy Dispenser Box Challenge. I know it's going to be fabulous!

Bunny Treat Totes

 Hello & Happy Wednesday!

It's the first day of April! Can you believe that Easter is only a few days away?!
I got a few bags of Easter candies recently and made a few little treat totes for my gang & some friends. These are nothing complicated. Super duper easy and just cute as a button!

Project Details:

Stamps: Easter Basket, Reason to Celebrate
Ink: Memento Black, Balmy Blue, Stampin Blends-Pecan Pie, Pumpkin Pie, Peach Pie, Daffodil Delight, Shy Shamrock, Balmy Blue, Pretty in Pink
Cardstock: Balmy Blue, Basic White, Crumb Cake, Shy Shamrock, Daffodil Delight, Pretty in Pink, Peach Pie
Accessories: Easter Basket Dies, Stylish Shapes Dies, Circle Layering Framelits (retired), Velcro Tabs, Cello Bags, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I filled each cello bag with a variety of candy that I'm sure everyone will love!
The cello bag just sits inside the tote, it's not glued or adhered and it fits nicely inside. Each tote is held shut with a Velcro Tab.
They were so much fun to make! I really love this Easter Basket bundle!!

Festive Friends for Valentine's Day

 Hello & Happy Sunday, Friends!

I do hope your all staying warm & safe in this extreme cold!
We popped out yesterday early evening to the restaurant for a cup of hot soup and a quick meal to warm our bellies and let me say...that wind made it feel very bone chilling (-17 degrees)! Thankfully, this year I got a new winter coat which helped. The restaurant was filled so we did not get to chit chat with Kelsey too much as she was serving a funeral party & a birthday party for a 99 yr old man. We were in & out within 45 minutes and back home with full bellies!

Today I am sharing a sweet project with you that Marisa from over at the Kitchen Table Stamper created during her 2026 Valentine's Day series she was doing the last few weeks. I loved all her projects even though I do not always use any of her box templates. This one stuck with me as it was blue and had a snowman on it. I changed it up to create some treats for a friend that requested 5 Valentine's treats. This is what I made for her...

Project Details:

Stamps: Festive Friends, Forever Lovely (retired sentiment 2019)
Ink: Real Red, Memento Black, Stampin Blends-Real Red & Flirty Flamingo
Cardstock: Real Red, Flirty Flamingo, Basic White, Made With Love DSP
Accessories: Festive Friends Dies, Hearts of Elegance Dies, Classic Label Punch (retired), 3/4 in Circle Punch, Flirty Flamingo Enamel Hearts (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

These turned out so cute and the friend loved them!
The box is very sturdy and I may even use this template again! I was able to fit in a regular Reese's Peanut Butter Heart and a pack of M&M's that she asked for.
Thanks Marisa, for always sharing your creative idea's and inspiring us along the way!

Valentine Sweet Treat

 Hello & Happy Sunday, Friends!

Waking up to some snow this morning. Nothing too heavy but it is downright cold out!
They are saying snow all day which may mix with sleet & freezing rain. Power outages are possible. I've declared today a pajama day! I'm having my coffee as I type this then headed to my stamp table for a bit.

The other day I whipped up a few sweet treats with the Endless Love bundle. These were so fun to make and the stamp girls loved them! I found some Ghiradelli candy at the store and the rest is history!

Project Details:

Stamps: Endless Love
Ink: Strawberry Slush
Cardstock: Strawberry Slush
Accessories: Darice Self Sealing Cello Bags, Endless Love Dies, White Ribbon (retired Online Exclusives), Pretty In Pink Shimmer Dots (retired), Hand Held Hole Punch (retired)

2 little treats fit in each bag and I made 5. My heart is attached to the bag with the ribbon. No adhesives were needed.
I was a bit skeptical on the Creme Brulee candy but they were very tasty & sweet! Yum!

Ghiradelli Christmas Treats

 Hello & Happy Thursday, Friends!

One week today is the big day! Are you ready?
I'm getting there!

This past Monday I had my 6 month doctor check up. I have never been to the doctor in the month of December so I decided to make a couple treats to hand out to the ladies at the front desk that check us in & out and then to my favorite nurse and my doctor. I had a bag of the Ghiradelli Mint Chocolate Squares in my cabinet and whipped these up in no time!

Project Details:

Stamps: Framed & Festive (retired)
Ink: Real Red
Cardstock: Basic White, Call Me Clover (retired), Real Red
Accessories: Stylish Shapes Dies, Reindeer Fun Dies (retired), Darice Small Self Sealing Cello Bags, Red Rhinestones (retired), Mini Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

It seemed odd to hand out candy treats at the doctor's office but they were surprised and just loved it! They deserve some Christmas cheer, too!

Ho Ho Ho Totes

 Hello & Happy Sunday, Friends!

We are waking up to about 6 inches of fresh snow this morning. It sure is pretty but oh my, is it ever bitterly cold out! Shawn has been out snow blowing the driveway and making a path out back in the yard for Bailee.
Yesterday we baked about 3 dozen cookies and I made 2 batches of the White Chocolate Snack Mix to give out to friends. We ended the day with catching up on some of our Christmas movies from the Hallmark Channel. By the time we headed to bed the snow was already coming down.
Today I am sharing another sweet treat that I made over the summer months to help prepare for the crazy holiday season. I used the retired Little Treats stamp set & Dies from 2020 and paired it with some Take A Bow DSP from last year. Each tote holds 2 York Peppermint Patties.

Project Details:

Stamps: Little Treats (retired 2020)
Ink: Real Red, Garden Green
Cardstock: Real Red, Basic White, Take A Bow DSP (retired 2024)
Accessories: Little Treat Box Dies (retired 2020), Stylish Shapes Dies, Earth Tones Shimmer Gems (retired 2024), Quilted Christmas Ribbon (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I made 15 of these totes. Audrey called yesterday to tell me she had the candy basket back from her neighbor so whenever I was ready I could pick it up. She did not give me any clues as to what was left so that will be a surprise when I pick it up later this week.

Today is football day so it will be a relaxing kind of day, and some cookie eating kind of day, too! Shawn's cookies got perfect! Yum!

Reindeer Boxes

 Hello & Happy Fri-YAY, Friends!

The weekend is here! Do you have any fun plans?
Tomorrow we are making a batch of Christmas Snack Mix and hopefully get some cookies baked. Shawn makes the best soft Snickerdoodle cookies! The snack mix is something I made years ago and I wanted to make some to give to friends. I already decorated a couple of boxes to put it in which I will share once that job is completed.
But today I am wanted to share a Christmas treat!
These boxes are retired and I have a bunch in my stash that I wanted to use. I still have some left that I may try to use again for another holiday down the road.

Project Details:

Stamps: Framed & Festive (retired 2022)
Ink: Real Red
Cardstock: Garden Green, Basic White, Reindeer Days DSP (retired 2024)
Accessories: Circle Layering Framelits (retired), Classic Label Punch (retired), Sweet Little Boxes (retired), Red Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

The reindeer was cut directly from the Reindeer Days DSP which is the cutest paper! I wish I would have grabbed another pack of it last year but sadly I did not. I am down to scraps now which I guess is not a bad thing.

These turned out so cute! Audrey raved over them! Each box holds 4 Kit Kats.

Everyday Arches Treat Holder

 Hello & Happy Fri-YAY, Friends!

Happy Black Friday, too, if your one who shops on Black Friday here in the states. When our kids were little we use to go out shopping all day long to get the good deals on toys & such. I do not think we've gone out to shop now in over 20 years! There is just too much drama associated with that anymore! LOL My hubby is working today as it was a last minute change of plans at work so he volunteered to go in. I will finish getting my Christmas tree decorated today and I have 1 tote of decorations to dig out. I got a good jump start on it yesterday and it went quick with Shawn's help.

Today I am going to share with you another treat holder that I seen made from Cheryl Dorsey, another Stampin Up! demonstrator. She used the Everyday Arches Dies and created a box for treats. She used all the new holiday stamps & papers where mine are all retired products.

Project Details:

Stamps: Itty Bitty Christmas (retired)
Ink: Real Red, Garden Green
Cardstock: Garden Green, Basic White, Snowy Scenes DSP (retired 2024)
Accessories: Everyday Arches Dies, Snowy Wonder Dies (retired 2024), Pretty Pillow Box Dies (retired), Handheld Hole Punch (retired), Snowflake Gem (retired), White/ Silver Sheer Ribbon (retired), Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I made 10 of these because that was all I had left of those beautiful Snowflake Gems from many years ago and I wanted to use them up! I have already sold 6. There are 4 left to send to Audrey's. I filled these with a Twix Snowman Candy Bar and a Ghiradelli Milk Chocolate Caramel Snowman which is in the last picture.

I really loved how these turned out! Thanks to Cheryl for sharing her tutorial.
Hope you enjoyed these!

Gnome Christmas Boxes

 Hello & Happy Saturday, Friends!

Another quick post this morning as I am having the girls over for a Stamp Day w/ Friends get together! We will be making Fall/Thanksgiving cards! Can't wait to see the girls!

Today I am sharing another fun, festive candy treat that I made for the upcoming holidays!
These were SO fun and i'm sure your going to love them as much as I do!
Stampin Up! has these Suitcase Boxes on the Online Exclusives list that I purchased a few months ago. I had no idea what I was going to do with them. Then one day I was at Hobby Lobby shopping and found the cutest patterned paper there that had Christmas gnomes on! Of course, I had to buy a few sheets! LOL And then the fun began as I decorated these boxes!

Project Details:

Stamps: Kindest Gnomes (retired)
Ink: Real Red
Cardstock: Real Red, Petal Pink, Call Me Clover (retired In Color), Basic White, The Paper Studio (Hobby Lobby)
Accessories: Stylish Shapes Dies, Gnome Dies (retired), Stampin Up! Suitcase Boxes (Online Exclusives), Call Me Clover Ribbon (retired), Real Red Pom Pom Trim (retired), Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I filled these with a snack size Twix, Milky Way, 3 Musketeers & a Snickers bar. They all fit nicely inside these little suitcases! I know alot of people love the gnomes and I will say that I am not a fan of them but these boxes turned out to be pretty darned adorable!
Hope you enjoyed these!

Tis the Season Tree Treats

 Hello & Happy Fri-YAY, Friends!

I have a busy day ahead with preparing for a Stamp Day w/ Friends get together tomorrow morning and then I have a dermatologist appointment late this afternoon so I am gonna make this quick!

Today I wanted to share with you one of my Christmas treats that I just finished up!
These came together pretty easily! Hope you like them!

Project Details:

Stamps: Pine Tree Trimmings (Online Exclusives)
Ink: Shaded Spruce
Cardstock: Shaded Spruce, Granny Apple Green, Basic White, Gold Foil Paper, Merry Bold & Bright DSP (retired)
Accessories: Pine Tree Trimmings Dies, Circle Layering Framelits (retired), Cello Bags, Low Profile Dots (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

The cello bags I used are from the packages of Stampin Dimensionals. I remember Marisa from over at the Kitchen Table Stamper always saying to save those bags. Well, I found the perfect project for them! The Reese's Peanut Butter Trees (snack size) fit 3 nicely in each bag. I made a total of 10 of these. The Reese's Peanut Butter Trees are always a great seller for me.
