Christmas Kit Kats

 Hello & Happy Fri-YAY!

I'm usually more excited for Fridays but today I slept in and feeling quite washed out.
All my crafts are done and ready for tomorrow...thank God for that because my hands are aching. Next week I have a small order for Ryan for Gift Card Holders but he said he's not in any hurry, just as long as he has them before Christmas Eve.
Today I have a Christmas treat to share with you!
I made these with the Acetate Card Boxes (4 1/4 x 5 1/2) that I cute in half. I have 3 packs of these boxes in my stash that were from Papertreyink from years ago! This is a fast way to make a pretty treat for the holidays!

Once I put my regular sized Kit Kat inside the acetate box I put a piece of cardstock inside behind the candy bar. Then tied a piece of Pool Party ribbon completely around the box to hold the cardstock & candy bar inside. Then I decorated it with the gingerbread man from the Sending Cheer Bundle. This bundle is super sweet & perfect for creating Christmas treats this year!

Project Details:

Stamps: Sending Cheer, Amuse Sentiment
Ink: Real Red, Pecan Pie, Memento Black
Cardstock: Pool Party, Real Red, Basic White, Celebrate Everything DSP (retired 2022)
Accessories: Acetate Boxes (Papertreyink), Sending Cheer Dies, Double Oval Punch, Red Rhinestones, Pool Party Ribbon, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I used the regular sized Kit Kats on these not the mini bite sized ones.
I found them at Target.

Well, that is all for me today!
I am washing bedsheets/quilts and just gonna take a relaxing, quiet day!
Tomorrow morning is my Christmas Stamp Day w/ Friends get together!
Later in the day I will be delivering Audrey's Christmas card order & treats.
Sunday we are in for a very rainy day so who knows....maybe I will stay in bed all day! LOL

Bag of Bones Kit Kats

 Hello & Happy Monday!

I hope that you all had a nice weekend!
We were so busy that it just fly by for me. I hope next weekend to catch my breath!
Tonight is the Red Lion Halloween Parade which we may try to go to if it's not raining.

Today I am sharing 1 of 2 of my candy treats that I made for Audrey. I picked up a bag of Halloween Kit Kats at the grocery store and loved that they matched the new Bag of Bones stamp set! This is what I made.

These turned out super cute!
The acetate boxes I already had on hand but they are retired. They are 3 1/8 x 3 1/8.
I wrapped a piece of Them Bones DSP around the box to help hold my tag on which I attached with 2 Dimensionals. The tag is from the Tailor Made Tags Dies. I stamped my skeleton on the tag in Basic Black Archival ink which is retired.

Project Details:

Stamps: Bag of Bones
Ink: Basic Black Archival (retired), Highland Heather
Cardstock: Basic White, Highland Heather, Them Bones DSP
Accessories: Acetate Boxes (retired), Circle Layering Framelits (retired), Tailor Made Tags Dies, Black & White Gingham Ribbon, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Tomorrow I will have 1 more treat to share for Halloween!
So I hope you will stop back!

Reese's PB Trees

Good Rainy Morning from Red Lion, PA!
Happy Sunday to you!

We woke up to a rainy almost sleet like kind of morning.
It's pretty cold which makes me think the rain is mixing with sleet.
Tis the season, right?

Yesterday Miss Bailee got her bath & a haircut. She looked so cute and the groomer put a cute little peppermint scarf on her. Even Mr Shady thought she looked & smelled quite nice! LOL
I had my Stamp Day w Friends get together in the afternoon.
We had such a good time! I will start sharing the pictures of the cards we made tomorrow so please be sure to come back and find out what Miss Emily's favorite was!
While we had Stamp Day my dear sweet hubby made a batch of Soft Snickerdoodle cookies and served them to us while making Christmas cards. They were still warm and were so good!
He even packaged a few up and sent them home with Deb & Emily!
After they left I packaged up the leftover treats and Audrey's card order and delivered them to her. Shawn also added a package of Snickerdoodles for her as well. She gave him a big ole hug for making her day! She loved all her cards she requested and was so happy with this year's Christmas treats! YAY!
All in all it was a very good day and I did manage to stay awake until my Hallmark movie was over last night!

So today I want to share my Reese's PB Trees treat!
These are made with the small Reese's PB Trees and I placed 2 in each acetate box.
The boxes are the 3 1/8 x 3 1/8 inch size boxes that are now retired.
As of last night I had 12 of them made and Miss Emily bought 10! Only 2 made their way to Audrey and I told her if she wanted more to let me know i'd be happy to make more for her!

I remember the day I made these...it was a Sunday afternoon while watching football.
They were so fun!

Project Details:

Stamps: Framed & Festive, Trees For Sale
Ink: Shaded Spruce, Real Red, Balmy Blue
Cardstock: Shaded Spruce, Basic White, Santa Express DSP
Accessories: Stylish Shapes Dies, Circle Layering Framelits, Tailor Made Tags Dies, Real Red Ribbon, Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

The acetate boxes were just a tad bigger than my Reese's PB Trees so on the bottom I added a little red & green paper shred that I had leftover from doing craft shows. It worked out nicely and gave my treats a little cushion so they did not flop around inside the box. Very fun & festive!

I think it may be a football & hot chocolate kind of afternoon for me! LOL

Christmas Treat Box

 Hello & Happy Saturday!

I hope your all doing well.
It's been crazy busy here but I am seeing light at the end of the tunnel, finally!
Kelsey & Shady are all settled in and she is back to work.
Everything is all decorated now for Christmas and I made my way back to my stamp table this afternoon after my haircut.
It's also Ryan's 36th birthday today!
We are going to have ice cream cake this evening since it's his favorite!

I wanted to share a sweet treat that I whipped up for Christmas using the Stampin Up! Acetate Card Boxes that I think have retired because I could not find them in the Stampin Up! Annual Catalog. They hold the 4 1/4 X 5 1/2 inch cards.
I cut the boxes in half and added 5 of the Kit Kat Candy Bars then decorated...

Project Details:

Stamps: Christmas To Remember
Ink: Shaded Spruce
Cardstock: Basic White, Santa's Express DSP
Accessories: Seasonal Labels Dies, White Glittered Ribbon, Wonderful Snowflakes, Holiday Rhinestones (Shaded Spruce), Dimensionals

These turned out super cute and super easy to make!
I used 6 Acetate Card Boxes (cut in half) and 2 bags of Christmas Kit Kats.

Yesterday I finally got my house all straightened up and cleaned so that means today I can get back to my craft table to get some card kits created for my next Stamp Day w/ Friends get together! I have so many idea's running thru my head.

Today I have the last Christmas Scottie card to share with you!
Thanks to Marisa at Kitchen Table Stamper for offering this online Stamp A Stack.
I made these cards for Kelsey to give her co workers and she just loves that little dog!

Cardstock: Mint Macaron, Basic White, Santa Express DSP

Peaceful Deer Kit Kat Box

 Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Today I have a sweet treat to share that I whipped up using some Peaceful Prints DSP (from SAB 2021) and the Peaceful Deer Bundle.

I started out with the 3 1/8 x 3 1/8 Acetate Boxes that Stampin Up! carries.
These are for the 3 x 3 mini cards but I think many use them for treat boxes.
I covered my clear box with a piece of DSP that just wraps completely around my box. I believe this measure 2 3/4 x 9. I used some Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere my paper on. Then added a Wonderful Snowflake to the box using the same glue. Next I did my stamping. I stamped my deer onto Crumb Cake cardstock with Early Espresso ink and punched the deer out using the Deer Builder Punch. I then stamped my sentiment from the same stamp set using Garden Green ink. I diecut it out using the Stitched Rectangle Framelits. My deer and sentiment are all popped up with Dimensionals. Lastly, I added a few Garden Green Glittered Enamel Dots that are retired. I love these treat holders and make for a nice stocking stuffer! Each treat box holds 4 of the Bite Sized Kit Kats.

Card Details:

Stamps: Peaceful Deer
Ink: Early Espresso, Garden Green
Cardstock: Crumb Cake, Basic White, Peaceful Prints DSP (SAB 21)
Accessories: Deer Builder Punch, 3 1/8 x 3 1/8 Acetate Boxes, Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Wonderful Snowflakes, Garden Green Glittered Enamel Dots (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

As much as I enjoy making the treats for each holiday, I've come to realize that my hands cannot do this anymore. They have been bothering me for weeks if not months now. I have decided that this will be the last holiday that I have treats to sell. I will continue on with making cards until I have to make the decision to stop that as well. I've never had my hands hurt before like what I've been experiencing. I will be talking to my doctor at my next checkup.

Peppermint Patty Spider Boxes

 Hello & Happy Saturday!

Happy World Card Making Day, too!

My doggies are off to Doggy Day Spa this morning then this afternoon my friends are coming over to make some cards on this special day!
I can't wait!

Today I am sharing the last of my Halloween treats with you!
These are acetate boxes that Stampin Up! carries and are the perfect size to put 4 York Peppermint Patties in!
I know not everyone cares for the peppermint patties but I have a customer who usually requests them. I love them too!

I only took this one picture and hopefully you can see how they are decorated.
Each box has a piece of patterned paper wrapped around it measuring 2 x 10.
Once I adhered the wrapper on I wrapped some Gorgeous Grape Sheer Ribbon around and tied a bow. This ribbon is very easy to work with and ties a beautiful bow!
I then diecut my spider web from the Frightful Tags Dies with Black Glittered Paper then I diecut my tag from the same set of dies and stamped them with the spider from the Cute Halloween stamp set. The saying comes from the Frightfully Cute set. I attached the spider web & tag with Dimensionals and lastly I added some Black Matte Enamel Dots.

I usually try to get my papers to match my candy wrappers and I had to dig deep for this sheet of paper. I'm not sure who the maker is.

Halloween Treat Box:

Stamps: Frightfully Cute, Cute Halloween
Ink: Gorgeous Grape, Basic Black Archival (retired)
Cardstock: Black Glitter Paper, Basic White, unknown Houndstooth Paper
Accessories: Frightful Tags Dies, Gorgeous Grape Sheer Ribbon, Black Matte Enamel Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I hope you enjoyed seeing my 2021 Halloween Candy Treats this year!
I also hope that I have inspired you to create your own candy treats!
I enjoy making these as it's something different than making cards.
If you create your own treats, I would love to see them!
Shoot me an email, please!

Acetate Boxes for Easter Treats

 Good Morning & Happy Friday!

It's a cold, windy morning here after a day of rain yesterday!
It was the perfect day to nap which I did not do.
I got my downstairs ready for my Stamp Day w Friends get together for Saturday.
Today I am working on laundry and hoping to grab a short nap since I did not sleep good last night.
I'm already on my 2nd cup of coffee and i'm thinking I may need more!

Have you seen the 3 1/8  Acetate Card Boxes in the Stampin Up! Annual Catalog?
They are on page 152 and sell 10 boxes for $6.00.
I have not used these for the small cards but I have used them quite a few times in the last year for treat boxes. Easter is no different as I made 18 of these for my customers treat order.
I simply colored up some of those adorable lambs from the Springtime Joy stamp set and used up some retired gingham papers!

My boxes are filled with 4 Bite Sized Kit Kats.
The outside is decorated with a Scalloped Square in different cardstock colors then I diecut a Square using the same set of Framelits in the matching Gingham DSP colors.
Next I diecut another layer of cardstock with the Tasteful Labels Dies and I ran those panels thru the Big Shot with my very loved Tasteful Textile 3D EF for added texture.
The next layer is the Scalloped Circle and then the Whisper White layer that has the lamb stamped on.
I colored those images with Stampin Blends.
I stamped my sentiment in coordinating colored ink on Whisper White and punched it out with the Classic Label Punch and attached it with Mini Dimensionals.
Lastly, I added a matching bow with a glue dot and some big rhinestones.

Project Details:

Stamps: Springtime Joy, You're Inspiring (retired)
Ink: Memento Black, Stampin Blends, Highland Heather, Balmy Blue, Daffodil Delight
Cardstock: Balmy Blue, Daffodil Delight, Highland Heather, Granny Apple Green, Whisper White, Various Gingham DSP (retired)
Accessories: Square Layering Framelits, Circle Layering Framelits, Tasteful Labels Dies, Tasteful Textile 3D EF, Classic Label Punch, Various Ribbon (retired), Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Adhesive Foam Sheets, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

These were so much fun to make and my card lady just loved them!
If your looking for a quick treat, these boxes are perfect for that!
I really like the size of them and it doesn't take a whole lot of candy to fill them!
My card lady wanted these to lay on each person's table setting for their Easter dinner and I bet she will get lots of big smiles from her family!

3D Challenge w/ Vicki Day!

 Hello & Happy Saturday!

Today is the day that my friend, Vicki & I share our projects for the 3D Challenge.
Every other Saturday we share something other than a card.
Last time you may remember I shared the Sunflower Ghiradelli Chocolate in the Little Treat Boxes.
They were so fun!
But this week I have another fun treat to share!!
This one is for Halloween!
Take a look...

One evening we were grocery shopping at our local store and I spotted these Witch's Brew Kit Kats!
I grab 2 bags and thought I could design something around them or the colors!
Isn't it funny how a crafter's mind thinks?! LOL
So, I looked thru my box of cello bags & acetate boxes.
I found a pack of the 3 1/8 X 3 1/8 Acetate Boxes that Stampin Up! now carries to package the little 3X3 cards in. It was a light bulb moment when I realized I could fit the fun & colorful Kit Kats in them!

I matched up my witch with the witch in the Ghoulish Goodies stamp set and being that we do not have any pretty Halloween papers I pulled out the Brights pack of DSP and decided to use the Granny Apple Green polka dots. I diecut a Granny Apple Green Scalloped Square then a Granny Apple Green DSP Square and adhered it to the Acetate Box with 2 Sided Tape.
Next I cut a label from the Tasteful Labels Dies in Pumpkin Pie and layered that on my Granny Apple Green base.
Next I stamped the witch in Gorgeous Grape and added the sentiment in Granny Apple Green right under it. I diecut them out with the largest circle from the Layering Circle Framelits. I then layered that on a Gorgeous Grape Scalloped Circle and adhered it with Dimensionals,
Lastly, I had to bling it up with some Rhinestones & the beautiful Black Glittered Ribbon bow!
Each box contains 4 Witch's Brew Kit Kats which are pretty yummy!

Project Details:

Stamps: Ghoulish Goodies
Ink: Granny Apple Green, Gorgeous Grape
Cardstock: Granny Apple Green, Gorgeous Grape, Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White, Granny Apple Green DSP
Accessories: Square & Circle Layering Framelits, Tasteful Labels Dies, 3 1/8 X 3 1/8 Acetate Boxes, Black Glittered Ribbon, Rhinestones, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, 2 Sided Tape, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I ended up making 8 of these for Halloween!
I love them....hope you do too!

So, now it's time to head over to Vicki's blog to check out her 3D project this week!
I know it's going to be fabulous...just like her!
