Last Day of Christmas in July

 Hello & Happy Sunday!

It's the last day of my Christmas in July series and i'm so glad that you have enjoyed it!
My last card is a set of cards that I made up to put on my card rack to sell.
It uses the retired Christmas Trimmings Dies.
This set will probably look familiar if you are a regular follower of mine.

I cased a set of July 4th cards I made last month using the Christmas Trimmings Dies. I used Soft Succulent, Evening Evergreen and Sahara Sand for my cardstock colors. I love the 2 greens together! It was alot of work running those stars thru the Stampin Cut & Emboss Machine multiple times but I remembered to use the Adhesive Sheets to make it easier when adhering them on my card.

Card Details:

Stamps: Holly Jolly Wishes (retired)
Ink: Evening Evergreen
Cardstock: Evening Evergreen, Sahara Sand, Soft Succulent, Basic White, Soft Succulent DSP (retired)
Accessories: Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Christmas Trimmings Dies (retired), Tasteful Textile 3D EF (retired), Soft Succulent Ribbon, Festive Pearls, Adhesive Sheets, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

When I make a set of cards like this to sell I usually leave the inside blank.
Some people like to write their own messages inside and some will have a saying in mind to use.

I hope you have enjoyed my Christmas in July series!
I thought it was a fun way to stay cool during the heatwaves we've been having plus help me be better prepared for the holidays that will no doubt be here before we know it!

Tomorrow I am back to regular posts once I get back from my dentist appointment.
I have to be bright eyed & bushy tailed by 8 am!

My thoughts today...

I do believe that this is going to be how my day plays out! LOL

Thanks for stopping by & have a wonderful day!

Boughs of Holly

 Hello & Happy Saturday!

I am way late with an update today!
I thought I got my post ready & scheduled yesterday but I guess I did not.
It's been busy ever since Shawn got in from work yesterday.
We took Kelsey to pick up a refurbished hutch that she bought off a friend from work. Then hit the Hobby Lobby on the way home.
Once we got her unloaded and dropped off we headed home.
This morning we got up early and ran to the Vet's to pick up Bailee's medicine then a quick trip to Lancaster to do some shopping. Shawn had to be back by 11:30 because he had a car appointment but we were stopped in Red Lion for an accident which held us up about 10 minutes. He made it to his appointment with maybe a minute to spare then back home by 12:15. We picked Kelsey up and went down to Belair, Maryland to do some shopping. Made it home by supper time which Bailee was happy about! Her loves her food! Then Kelsey grabbed her Halloween decorations out of the basement and went home. I'm pooped, Shawn is pooped! Supper for the 3 of us was a bit later than usual. Once that was cleaned up I threw my pj's on and got the wash machine running. That is when I sat down and realized my blog was not updated! *sigh* I'm so sorry!

My card for today is a such a nice one that I enjoyed playing with!
I broke down and got the Boughs of Holly bundle since I already had the DSP.
Love the 2 together!

Card Details:

Stamps: Leaves of Holly, Very Best Occasion
Ink: Real Red, Shaded Spruce
Cardstock: Real Red, Shaded Spruce, Basic White, Early Espresso, Boughs of Holly DSP

You will be seeing more of this stamp set as we move closer to the holidays!
It's so pretty!

That is all for me today!
I will be back tomorrow with my last post for my Christmas in July series.
I hope you will stop back, too!

Merriest Moments Poinsettia's

 Good Morning & Happy Fri-YAY!!

Do you have any fun plans this weekend?
Not much happening here.
Last Saturday I was suppose to have a Stamp Day w/ Friends get together but one of my friends wasn't feeling well so we cancelled until this Saturday.
She still is not feeling good so we cancelled again.
I'm sure we'll get something rescheduled soon!

I have another Christmas card to share today for my Christmas in July series.
Can I just say that I loved doing this series as it will help me be more prepared for Christmas! The holidays are such a busy time of the year and I am usually overwhelmed with making treats and cards for my card lady that I don't have much time for myself. I now have quite a pile of cards to send out this Christmas and I was not stressed to get them made.

My card today uses the Merriest Moments Bundle that came out in 2021 and is now a returning favorite!

Card Details:

Stamps: Merriest Moments, Greatest Part of Christmas (retired)
Ink: Cherry Cobbler, Evening Evergreen, Daffodil Delight
Cardstock: Evening Evergreen, Cherry Cobbler, Sahara Sand, Basic White, Tidings of Christmas DSP (retired)
Accessories: Stylish Shapes Dies, Circle Layering Framelits, Tasteful Textile 3D EF (retired), Merriest Frames Hybrid Embossing Folder, Holiday Rhinestones (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I love this card so much!
The colors are pleasing to the eye and those pretty poinsettia's have become a favorite this year! So glad Stampin Up gave us another year to enjoy this set!

OMGosh, 3 little Bailee's!
Aren't they adorable?!

Let It Snow

 Hello & Happy Thursday, Everyone!

This week seems to be flying by!
Today I have a really cute card to share with you for my Christmas in July series.
I had to literally open the vault for this set....it's really old!
It's a Stampin Up set that was out in 1997!
I have always loved that snowman!

Card Details:

Stamps: Let It Snow (retired), Itty Bitty Christmas (retired)
Ink: Memento Black, Mossy Meadow, Stampin Blends- Real Red, Mossy Meadow, Pumpkin Pie, Pool Party
Cardstock: Mossy Meadow, Real Red, Basic White, Heartwarming Hugs DSP (retired)
Accessories: Tasteful Textile 3D EF (retired), Stitched With Whimsy Dies, Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Real Red Sheer Ribbon (retired), Red Rhinestones, Glue Dots, Mini Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I wish I would have decorated the inside a bit more but I was running out of time at my stamp table that day. I think today I might do that before I get started on something else.
It's going to be a very hot & humid day here so I plan to hibernate in my stamp room!

Update on my card lady....

I had a brief message from Audrey earlier this week.
She is healing nicely and will start her cancer treatments today.
She is anxious to get this overwith and the oncologist told her she will be undergoing treatments for the next year. I'm not sure how often as I have not spoke to her personally yet. She was diagnosed with stage 3 melanoma cancer so, if you would, please say alittle prayer for her today in hopes all goes well. Thank You.

Holiday Hedgehogs

 Hello & Happy Wednesday, Everyone!

I hope your week is going well!
Yesterday we had a break from the high heat & humidity.
It was cloudy all day with low humidity so this girl turned that ac off and opened windows. My sinuses were happy about that!
Today we are back to hot & humid weather with the ac back on.
I've got a cute card to share for my Christmas in July series using an oldie but a goodie set!
Holiday Hedgehogs was out in 2001 and I found this wood mounted stamp set last year at my local Goodwill. Once I got it home and cleaned it up I looked back thru my old catalogs and realized my set was missing a few stamps. Wasn't happy about that but I will still use it regardless.

Here is my Criss Cross Pocket card...

Card Details:

Stamps: Holiday Hedgehogs (retired), Peaceful Deer
Ink: Memento Black, Real Red, Mossy Meadow, Stampin Blends-Real Red, Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, Mossy Meadow
Cardstock: Real Red, Mossy Meadow, Basic White, Heartwarming Hugs DSP (retired)
Accessories: Stylish Shapes Dies, Square Layering Framelits (retired), Round Tab Punch (retired), White Glittered Ribbon, Rhinestones, Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

It's always fun to create something different and pull out those older stamp sets!
Hope you liked this one!

Candy Cane Wishes

 Good Morning & Happy Monday!

I hope you all had a nice weekend and stayed cool!
The weather here in PA was pretty harsh as temps got to the upper 90's with high humidity.
I'm ready for a nice cool down!
Storms are in the forecast today which I hope cools things down.

Today I am using the Sweet Candy Cane stamp set for my Christmas in July card.

I love those big candy canes that were diecut with the Candy Cane Dies. There is a whole sheet of these printed Candy Canes in the Sweetest Christmas DSP....well actually 2.

 Hello & Happy Sunday!

Are you staying cool during this heatwave?
Yesterday was pretty awful and I tried to stay inside most of the day.
I washed my bedsheets and hung them out to dry and took Bailee out for a very quick walk and that's about it. I'm praying some relief will come soon.

My card for today's Christmas in July series uses the Cottage Wreath stamp set & the Country Wreath Dies. It's quickly becoming a favorite!

Brightest Glow Gift Card

 Hello & Happy Saturday!

I sure hope your staying cool where ever you are!
Today & tomorrow our weather here is to be extremely hot & humid. I don't think any rain is forecasted until Monday. I popped out last night to grab some groceries and this morning I need to hit the Post Office then Home Depot to get an outside blind for the front porch. After that the plan is to wash my bedsheets and hide in my stamp room where it's much cooler!
Not sure what we will be having for supper...maybe hot dogs on the grill and some corn on the cob we picked up at a local farm stand last night.
Going to try to keep it easy without heating up the kitchen.

My card that I am sharing for my Christmas in July series today is a pretty gift card/money holder. I sell alot of them during the holidays so I will need to focus more on them as we get closer to Christmas. Here is one I made just recently...

Card Details:

Stamps: Brightest Glow
Ink: Real Red, Real Red Stampin Blend (coloring the ribbon)
Cardstock: Shaded Spruce, Real Red, Basic White, Boughs of Holly DSP
Accessories: Stylish Shapes Dies, Vanilla w Gold Trim Ribbon (retired), Festive Pearls, Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

On the inside flap it says Merry Christmas!

 Hello & Happy Fri-YAY!

Yesterday was Shawn & I's 32nd Wedding Anniversary.
He worked all day then we planned to grab some take out Thai food for supper.
It was very good and after a long, hot day...it was a nice way to end the day!

I've got yet another card to share for my Christmas in July series made using the Frosted Gingerbread stamp set! I'm getting my money's worth this year for sure!

It's nice seeing this set being used in different colors!

Hope your all staying cool!
This summer heat & humidity is blazing hot!
You know I am not a fan of it and hate running my ac all the time.
We are in day 2 of this current heatwave with no end in sight.
How many days until Fall?

My card for today's Christmas in July series is so much fun!!
I pulled out a new stamp set from the July-December Mini catalog called Trees For Sale.
It has a coordinating die set in the 2022 SaleABration Mini Catalog called Tree Lot Dies.
These 2 together makes for a very CUTE card!

Card Details:

Stamps: Trees For Sale
Ink: Garden Green, Real Red, Pool Party, Soft Suede
Cardstock: Real Red, Pool Party, Basic White
Accessories: Tree Lot Dies, Whimsical Woodland 3D EF, Tailored Tag Punch (retired), Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Lots of stamping & diecutting pieces but worth it in the end!
Isn't that camper just so cute?
This card reminds me of a Hallmark Christmas movie and you know I love my Hallmark movies all year long!
