Thankful Garden Card Set

Hello & Happy Tuesday!

We have a wintry mix on our hands today! A little bit of snow, freezing rain & then a change over to all rain by noon. I plan to head to my stamp table for a bit to work on some Easter cards for my bin while we are having a yukky day!
In the meantime, I am sharing a set of cards that I made with a bundle from the Online Exclusives, Thankful Garden.

Card Details:

Stamps: Thankful Garden (Online Exclusives)
Ink: Memento Black, Balmy Blue, Azure Afternoon, Blueberry Bushel, Garden Green
Cardstock: Blueberry Bushel, Basic White, Lovely Garden DSP (Online Exclusives)
Accessories: Thankful Garden Dies (Online Exclusives), Thankful Garden Decorative Masks (Online Exclusives), Blending Brushes, Blue Gems (retired), Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Can you tell I am anxious for spring! These flowers & the colors just bring a smile to my face! I left them blank for now but will add a sentiment if need be. These products are on the last chance list with some discounted prices while supplies last. I love this suite!

Bow Wow

 Hello & Happy Wednesday, Friends!

Just a quick card today using a really old wood mounted set called Bow Wow.
This was one of the first wood stamp sets that I purchased and to this day I still use it.
This card was made a few weeks ago as part of Audrey's card order. She requested a doggy card for a little girl. She wanted no saying on it....just a dog.
I pulled out a new In Color, Timid Tiger, that I do not think I have even used at all until now. My card is monochromatic which I like to make occasionally!

Card Details:

Stamps: Bow Wow (retired)
Ink: Timid Tiger
Cardstock: Timid Tiger, Basic White, Timid Tiger In Color DSP
Accessories: Nested Essentials Dies, Timid Tiger Ribbon, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

So much fun!!  I really like this Timid Tiger color, too!

Nests of Winter Set

 Hello & Happy Fri-YAY, Friends!

It is back to work for Shawn today and the house is back to normal.
Christmas was nice and so was our New Year's but now it's time to get back to some normalcy! I hope to maybe do some stamping this afternoon to get my 2026 calendars started. I won't be making as many as I usually do every year since no one has requested any. Kelsey is the only one who asked and I have 3 around my house that I use so that will be the extent of them this year. My hands just cannot take it anymore.

Today I want to share with you a set of cards made 2 weeks ago for Audrey. She requests these simple cards with a square of DSP on and then she uses them for what she needs them for. No sentiments.

Card Details:

Stamps: none
Ink: none
Cardstock: Basic White, Garden Green, Nests of Winter DSP (retired)
Accessories: Square Layering Framelits (retired), Earth Tones Shimmer Gems (retired), Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This paper is nice for any occasion and she loved them!

Scenic Pumpkin Patch

 Hello & Happy Fri-YAY!!

Today Shawn has the day off so we are making a trip over to L&L to pick up some supplies that I am in major need of. After that he wants to go to a fishing pond to fish a bit since it's close to there. I really wanted to get my laundry started and get my door between the kitchen & garage painted. Guess that can wait till another day.

So how was your July 4th holiday?
We did burgers on the grill & had corn on the cob & Ryan's favorite, deviled eggs.
That was plenty! Kelsey & Shady came over to eat right before the storms came thru. Shawn got off work around 2 then we did a 3 mile walk at the Rail Trail. Let me tell you about being a sweat puddle! LOL It was unbearable out yesterday, 90 degrees with high humidity. I was so glad to get back to the car after that! Atleast we got that in before the storms came.

I did stamp a bit yesterday and I pulled out my Scenic Pumpkin Patch stamp set.
Oh, this one is a cutie for the Fall season! It is available now on the Online Exclusives offerings. I paired up my pumpkins with some patterned paper from Hobby Lobby.

Card Details:

Stamps: Scenic Pumpkin Patch (Online Exclusives)
Ink: Tangerine Tango (retired), Garden Green
Cardstock: Tangerine Tango (retired), Basic White, The Paper Studio (Hobby Lobby)
Accessories: Stylish Shapes Dies, Square Layering Framelits (retired), Champagne Rhinestones, Stampin Seal, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I had Audrey in mind when making these because she loves her pumpkin cards!
I'll wait and see as it gets closer to the Fall weather to see if she requests any pumpkin cards and then we'll see if she needs a saying added.

More Zinnia Notecards

 Hello & Happy Monday!

I've got a very busy day ahead so I'm going to make this update quick.
I have another set of Zinnia cards to share that Audrey requested. She has been on a roll with the Flowering Zinnia papers. My 2nd pack is half gone. She uses these for whatever occasion comes up so i'm always happy to make them for her.

Card Details:

Stamps: none
Ink: none
Cardstock: Melon Mambo, Flowering Zinnia DSP (Online Exclusives)
Accessories: Adhesive Backed Shiny Sequins (Online Exclusives), Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This particular sheet is my favorite of the pack and she has specifically asked for this one. It really needs nothing when used alone. I did add some Adhesive Backed Shiny Sequins for a pop of sparkle. My 1st package of them is just about gone.

This evening I will get Audrey's cards delivered to her and hopefully get to chat with her a few minutes. I haven't seen her the last few trips I went in because she has stuff planned and wasn't home. When I talked to her on the phone on Friday she was so happy and was feeling great especially for the day after her cancer treatment....which surprised me. That lady is just remarkable!!!

Fun Notecards

 Hello & Happy Fri-YAY!!

Hope your weekend is off to a great start!
It's to be a warm one here in south central PA today with some severe weather this evening. I hope Shawn is home before that starts!

Today I have a set of cards to show you that I made for Audrey. She requested a set of cards with just a little square of paper but nothing with flowers so she could send these to men as well. Sometimes that can be a tough thing when most of your paper has florals on! I rummaged thru some older paper and found this pack on my paper rack and decided to use it. This is the Moroccan DSP from a few years ago. I thought the pattern & colors would suit either gender and I kept it simple like she asked. The center of each paper design has a Emerald Envy Enamel Dot which lays very flat. I have lots of retired embellishments that I decided to add to each card.

Card Details:

Stamps: none
Ink: none
Cardstock: Very Vanilla, Dapper Denim (retired), Moroccan DSP (retired)
Accessories: Square Layering Framelits (retired), Emerald Envy Enamel Dots (retired), Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Simple & easy and I do hope she is ok with that paper print.
Atleast it's not a floral.

Today is laundry & stamp day for me so lots to get done!

Zinnia No Sentiment Cards

 Hello & Happy Monday, Everyone!

I hope you had a wonderful weekend!
It sure was a nice one here in south central Pennsylvania!
Saturday, we took Bailee to the Rail Trail before noon and took a long walk. While walking we saw the new thing that started maybe last year....they are rail bikes. They are like an open cart like a very small train car that goes on the train tracks. You peddle these like a bike. I have seen them before but never seen them moving. I was so taken with it and suggested to Shawn that we should try that! Each cart has 4 seats so he asked his boss & his wife if they'd be interested in doing it with us sometime. Sunday evening we met them for dinner at Longhorn Steakhouse and they said they would love to try it! It probably won't be until around Fall since she is having a knee replacement in July. I am so excited to try it! It is 1.5 to 2 hours long at a cost of $70 per person. Maybe it could be a birthday gift for me! We will see but I will share more when I know we can plan it!

Anyways, today I have a bright set of Zinnia cards to share that were made for Audrey. These are definitely bright and you may need your sunglasses on to see them! LOL She wanted 2 packs of no sentiment on them and this is the 1st set...

Card Details:

Stamps: none
Ink: none
Cardstock: Lemon Lime Twist, Flowering Zinnia DSP (Online Exclusives)
Accessories: Adhesive Backed Shiny Sequins (Online Exclusives), Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I use Picasa to edit my photo's and I am not sure how why it made my pictures so bright at first. I had to tone them down which is what you see here. This paper is so pretty! I'm on my 2nd pack of it!

Looks Like Spring Dies

 Good Morning & Happy Tuesday!

I hope your day is off to a great start?!
Today I want to share a card I made for Audrey on her last order. She just requested something with daffodils and no sentiment. I was going to pull out my Daffodil Afternoon stamp set but then I remembered I ordered a small set of dies from Stampin Up. I think these were an add on to the Kits Collection. This set only has 4 dies in it but caught my eye because it diecut a cute little daffodil. So this is what I pulled out and used for her card...

Card Details:

Stamps: none
Ink: none
Cardstock: Daffodil Delight, Basic White, Gingham Gala DSP (retired)
Accessories: Fun Patterns EF (Online Exclusives), Looks Like Spring Dies, Daffodil Delight Enamel Dots, Organdy Ribbon (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

My pictures really did not do this card any justice but as always, Audrey loved it!

So, I did get my Easter cards all finished! Today I will be addressing them and getting them out for the mail. Hoping they arrive at their destination in time for Easter!

Bee Mine Notecards

 Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Today I want to share a set of notecards that I made for Audrey a few weeks ago and forgot to share them! These really have nothing to do with Valentines Day. She just wanted some floral cards without a sentiment on and the Bee Mine DSP worked nicely for these!

Card Details:

Stamps: Bee My Valentine
Ink: Parakeet Party, Sweet Sorbet
Cardstock: Pool Party, Parakeet Party, Basic White, Bee Mine DSP
Accessories: Nested Essentials Dies, Basics 3D EF, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I personally loved these but my pictures did not do them justice.
Audrey loved them! Every time when I deliver her card orders we sit at her dining room table and we go thru each set of cards and when she is done and she always says...I love all of them! She is just the sweetest, kindest lady I think I have ever met! I don't think she has a vindictive bone in her body!

Today I have some dusting to do downstairs and I am finished with my cleaning! Yesterday it took me all day but isn't that how spring cleaning goes?

Daffodil Notecards

 Hello & Happy Wednesday!

Hope your week is going well! We are halfway to the weekend now!

The flu bug has hit the Aungst Pad this past week. Saturday night we went out to hear Kelsey's friend's band and that night Shawn started to not feel well. By Sunday morning he had fever, chills and a cough. Since our doctor is not in on weekends I suggested he go to Urgent Care and sure enough....102 temp....it was the flu. That same day Kelsey started not feeling good either and so far she missed 2 days of work. She said the flu has been going around her work and half the staff was out. I've been trying to keep Ryan from it and I pray he does not get it. I had a flu shot in October and I have some mild symptoms nothing as severe as Shawn's. Mine is more less like a head cold w cough. I am taking Dayquil & Nyquil which is helping. I really hope by the weekend to feel better. Shawn has been home all week so far and not sure when he'll get back to work.

I have been going to my stamp table here & there to work on Audrey's card order. I will not get them delivered until we are 100% because she certainly does not need the flu on top of what she is dealing with. She requested a set of just the retired Daffodil Afternoon DSP with no saying.

I actually made her an 8 pack as I had a few pieces of this DSP left and just finished it up!
Every now & then I do that if I have an extra piece of 2 left and give her a bigger set. She will definitely use them!

Card Details:

Stamps: none
Ink: none
Cardstock: Thich Very Vanilla, Daffodil Afternoon DSP (retired SAB 22)
Accessories: Adhesive Backed Dragonflies & Birds, Stampin Seal

These were quick & easy to whip up and just perfect for Spring!
Around here the snow is still slowly melting but we've had some nice sunshiny days!
I am ready for Spring! Bet you are, too!

Planted Paradise

 Good Morning & Happy Monday!!

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!

I was under the weather most of the time but it's getting better.
I was given a 2nd blood pressure medicine (Amlodipine) a few weeks ago after a migraine caused me to spike very high blood pressure. This medicine has done nothing but make me feel horrible but it did get my numbers back down to where they need to be. Saturday, Shawn realized the lightheadedness, dizzy spells and the fact that I was ready to pass out from it came to a head. He made me take my bp reading and it has gotten quite low. I have not functioned well in the last several weeks and found myself taking deep breaths and sitting my days away. Taking a shower has become a bit much for me as I felt like I needed to sit and take deep breaths. Friday night was my last dose of the Amlodipine and I am slowly getting back to feeling more like myself. And to be honest, I was starting to get depressed. I emailed my doctor yesterday to let her I stopped the medicine. I cannot function like that! I will continue to monitor my blood pressure at home and we'll go from there.

So, today I am not sure what's on my agenda....just depends how good I feel. I would like to do some cleaning but I may have to ease into that!

I do have a card to share with you that I made a week or so ago using a new stamp set in the 2024 Spring Mini Catalog called Planted Paradise. I earned this set free for attending the On Stage last Fall and it has been a diamond in the rough. I am not one for fussy cutting but I think this set will be easy to do that with. No fussy cutting on this card, just straightforward stamping!

Card Details:

Stamps: Planted Paradise
Ink: Berry Burst, Shaded Spruce
Cardstock: Berry Burst, Shaded Spruce, Basic White, Berry Burst Gingham DSP
Accessories: Nested Essentials Dies, Stylish Shapes Dies, Shaded Spruce Ribbon (retired), Rhinestone, Glue Dot, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I just love this stamp set & the colors!
So much fun and i'm anxious to play more with this set of stamps.

Perennial Lavender

 Hello & Happy Wednesday!

Our day is starting out VERY cold and quite snowy!
We are not getting out of the low 20's today and that wind just makes it feel worse. I will be hibernating in my stamp room again today. I finished up my 2024 Calendars yesterday! I will share them soon.

Today I have another set of cards to share with you that I made for Audrey. This pack is also a no sentiment set so that she can use them for whatever occasion arises. She sends out lots of cards so I am sure she will go thru these quick. I pulled out my Perennial Lavender DSP and whipped this set up for her.

Card Details:

Stamps: none
Ink: none
Cardstock: Crumb Cake, Perennial Lavender DSP
Accessories: Deckled Rectangle Dies, Purple Fine Shimmer Gems, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

These were so quick & easy to whip up and I made them flat for easy mailing!
She loved this pack with those pretty lavender flowers on the front. That DSP is beautiful as I have used a good bit of it already. I haven't used the Perennial Postage Bundle that also goes with this paper but I hope to play with it soon.
