A Fun Challenge W/ Vicki

 Hello & Happy Fri-YAY, Friends!

I'm ready for the weekend! Are you?
Tomorrow I am attending a Tesla event with Shawn and then hoping to get to pick some blueberries to freeze. I eat blueberries almost everyday so they will be a nice treat over the winter months.

Today my dear friend, Vicki & I are sharing a fun challenge....to make a candy dispenser box!
I haven't made one of these in quite a few years so this was fun! Since the 4th of July is coming quickly I decided to make mine with Red, White & Blue. It also helped that I had a bag of Red, White & Blue M&M's to put to good use!

Project Details:

Stamps: More Great Greetings (retired 1993), God Bless America (retired 2001)
Ink: Pacific Point (retired), Real Red & Pacific Point Stampin Write Markers (retired)
Cardstock: Real Red, Basic White, Pacific Point, Pacific Point DSP (retired 2023)
Accessories: Star Blast Edgelits Dies (retired 2019), Nested Essentials Dies, Stylish Shapes Dies, Circle Layering Framelits (retired), Rhinestones, Red, White & Blue Ribbon (from stash), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Vicki & I talked about doing this challenge using Halloween & Christmas products, too!
That will be so much fun!
Hope you will stop by Vicki's blog to see what she created for the Candy Dispenser Box Challenge. I know it's going to be fabulous!

Tag You're It Challenge

 Hello & Happy Monday!

The start of a new week....and it's to be another hot one here!
Memorial Day weekend we were in the 50's and this weekend we were in the 90's! You know me....I like my sunshine & 70's!

Today I have a cool project to share!
It is a challenge that I made with my dear friend, Vicki!
Tag You're It!

We have to use a tag on our 3D project....and no cards!

My 3D project is the Love Always Treat Boxes that are still available.
I decorated my box with the Berry Delightful DSP that was part of the SaleABration offering this year. My tag was diecut from the Tailor Made Tag Dies and I did one in Basic White and the other in Poppy Parade cardstocks.
I filled my box with some Little Debbie's Strawberry Muffins which just fit in my box! Then I decorated my box with the Sweet Strawberry stamp set & Strawberry Builder Punch.

Strawberry season is well under way here in PA!
Shawn & I were out the other day in Amish country and picked up some strawberries. Oh my, they are so sweet! I cleaned 2 quarts and gave our neighbor a box. We've been eating strawberries on pretty much everything this past weekend!

Project Details:

Stamps: Sweet Strawberry
Ink: Poppy Parade, Garden Green
Cardstock: Poppy Parade, Garden Green, Basic White, Berry Delightful DSP
Accessories: Love You Always Treat Boxes, Strawberry Builder Punch, Tailor Made Tags Dies, Poppy Parade Ribbon (retired), Rhinestones, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I love this box but sadly they are retiring soon.
I hope you enjoyed my Tag You're It Challenge today with Vicki!
Please stop on over to Vicki's blog to check out her 3D Challenge!
I know it's going to be fabulous!

3D Challenge w/ Vicki

 Hello & Happy Saturday!

It's Halloween today and time for another 3D Challenge with my friend, Vicki!
Every other Saturday we make something other than a card and share it on our blogs.
We've been doing this now since the beginning of September and I have enjoyed it, alot!

My 3D project this week I made a few weeks ago as a treat holder for Kelsey!
I already sent her a card for Halloween but since she has to work all day today I am going to take it to her apartment and leave at her door so when she comes home from work she will find it waiting on her.
I think she will love it!

I used a Stampin Up Coffee Cup Carrier and decorated it with Halloween Paper using the Magic In This Night DSP. The bats are diecut with the Halloween Magic Dies directly from the one DSP print.
I added black shred paper in the bottom of the box then added a bag of candy & a decorated coffee cup that I placed a Swiss Miss Hot Cocoa K Cup inside for her to make.
I tore apart a coffee cup and created a template with it so I could wrap DSP around them!
Worked like a charm!
I used stamps from the Ghoulish Goodies set as well as the Hallows Night Magic set.
I diecut some bats from the smaller bat dies with the new Black Glimmer Paper!
That paper is awesome! Not thick at all and the glitter does not come off!
Anyways, I decorated everything with some Black Glimmer Paper Bats and attached tags on the cup and bag of candy. I used the Black Glittered Ribbon for this project as well as that amazing Silver Metallic Mesh Ribbon! Lastly, I added some Iridescent Pearls and called it done!

Project Details:

Stamps: Ghoulish Goodies, Hallows Night Magic
Ink: Basic Black Archival
Cardstock: Basic Black, Whisper White, Black Glimmer Paper, Magic In This Night DSP
Accessories: Halloween Magic Dies, Circle Layering Framelits, Coffee Cup Carrier, Coffee Cup, Cello Bag, Black Glittered Ribbon, Sillver Metallic Mesh Ribbon, Iridescent Pearls, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I have had these Coffee Cup Carriers since July and back during the summer I started decorating them for Christmas! Yesterday I was out shopping and bought all kinds of goodies to put in them this holiday season!
I will share them once Thanksgiving is over so stay tuned!
These carriers are $5 for 8 of them and they are SO much fun to decorate!

Now pop on over to Vicki's blog to see her amazing 3D project!
I've seen it and it's really cool!!!

Challenges w/ Vicki

 Good Morning & Happy Saturday!

Today is the 3rd Challenge w/ Vicki day!
It's been really fun creating anything but a card for these!
I have a spooky fun treat holder again this week that I think your gonna love!

This box is quite sturdy and actually pretty easy to create!
I seen a video tutorial by UK Demo, Sam Hammond, and I was pretty intrigued with it and decided to give it a try! Here is a link if interested.  Pootles
This box definitely holds a good bit of candy inside which I did not take a picture of.
I placed 10 Reese's Peanut Butter Miniatures inside these. I purchased 1 bag and used the entire thing on these 3 boxes!

I decorated my boxes with the Magic in this Night Suite of products!
The only thing not from this suite is the Silver Foil diecut under the sentiment.
That comes from the Tasteful Labels Dies.
Also the silver clip holding the top closed is from Michael's.
That yummy Silver Mesh Ribbon is an absolute delight to work with!
I added bats that were diecut from the Magic in this Night DSP and those gorgeous Iridescent Pearls! And at first I didn't think I needed anything from this suite! Haha!
So glad I got it!

Project Details:

Stamps: Hallow's Night Magic
Ink: Memento Black
Cardstock: Basic Black, Whisper White, Silver Foil Paper, Magic in this Night DSP
Accessories: Tasteful Labels Dies, Halloween Magic Dies, Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Silver Clip, Silver Mesh Ribbon, Iridescent Pearls, Dimensionals, Stampin Seal +

You could create this box for any occasion or holiday!
I know you will be seeing me use it again!

Hope you like my project this week!
Now head on over to Vicki's blog and check out her amazing project this week!

3D Challenge w/ Vicki Day!

 Hello & Happy Saturday!

Today is the day that my friend, Vicki & I share our projects for the 3D Challenge.
Every other Saturday we share something other than a card.
Last time you may remember I shared the Sunflower Ghiradelli Chocolate in the Little Treat Boxes.
They were so fun!
But this week I have another fun treat to share!!
This one is for Halloween!
Take a look...

One evening we were grocery shopping at our local store and I spotted these Witch's Brew Kit Kats!
I grab 2 bags and thought I could design something around them or the colors!
Isn't it funny how a crafter's mind thinks?! LOL
So, I looked thru my box of cello bags & acetate boxes.
I found a pack of the 3 1/8 X 3 1/8 Acetate Boxes that Stampin Up! now carries to package the little 3X3 cards in. It was a light bulb moment when I realized I could fit the fun & colorful Kit Kats in them!

I matched up my witch with the witch in the Ghoulish Goodies stamp set and being that we do not have any pretty Halloween papers I pulled out the Brights pack of DSP and decided to use the Granny Apple Green polka dots. I diecut a Granny Apple Green Scalloped Square then a Granny Apple Green DSP Square and adhered it to the Acetate Box with 2 Sided Tape.
Next I cut a label from the Tasteful Labels Dies in Pumpkin Pie and layered that on my Granny Apple Green base.
Next I stamped the witch in Gorgeous Grape and added the sentiment in Granny Apple Green right under it. I diecut them out with the largest circle from the Layering Circle Framelits. I then layered that on a Gorgeous Grape Scalloped Circle and adhered it with Dimensionals,
Lastly, I had to bling it up with some Rhinestones & the beautiful Black Glittered Ribbon bow!
Each box contains 4 Witch's Brew Kit Kats which are pretty yummy!

Project Details:

Stamps: Ghoulish Goodies
Ink: Granny Apple Green, Gorgeous Grape
Cardstock: Granny Apple Green, Gorgeous Grape, Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White, Granny Apple Green DSP
Accessories: Square & Circle Layering Framelits, Tasteful Labels Dies, 3 1/8 X 3 1/8 Acetate Boxes, Black Glittered Ribbon, Rhinestones, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, 2 Sided Tape, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I ended up making 8 of these for Halloween!
I love them....hope you do too!

So, now it's time to head over to Vicki's blog to check out her 3D project this week!
I know it's going to be fabulous...just like her!

A New Challenge

 Hello & Happy Saturday!

Today I am sharing something new!
My dear sweet friend, Vicki & I decided we were going to start doing our challenges again!
She challenged me to make anything 3D!
WooHoo! I love making that kind of stuff!!

We will share our idea's every other Saturday so make sure you stop back to check out what we share!

Game on, Vicki!
Here is my 1st Challenge Project...

My treat box is made from the Little Treat Box Dies from the Stampin Up! Holiday Mini Catalog.
It was diecut with Bumble Bee cardstock then once it was glued together I wrapped a piece of Bumble Bee DSP around it. A 1 1/2 X 6 piece fit nicely!
I then stamped out my sunflower images from the Celebrating Sunflowers stamp set that is in the Stampin Up! Annual Catalog. I colored with my Stampin Blends then diecut it using the Sunflower Dies.
I stamped a quick sentiment from the Itty Bitty Greetings set also from the Annual Catalog and took my scissors and cut my saying out on an angle for interest.
Lastly, I filled my treat box with a Ghiradelli Milk Chocolate & Caramel Square Chocolate.
I added a glue dot to the inside of my box at the top to keep it closed. Then added my Bumble Bee Gingham Bow with another glue dot.

If your looking for a quick treat idea, these boxes are the perfect solution!
Easy to diecut and decorate!
And you can get 2 boxes out of an 8 1/2 x 11 piece of cardstock!
I was optimistic at first but now I can say these little boxes are super quick & easy and bound to make anyone smile with a little treat inside!

Sunflower Treat Boxes:

Stamps: Celebrating Sunflower, Itty Bitty Greetings
Ink: Memento Black, Stampin Blends
Cardstock: Bumble Bee, Whisper White, Bumble Bee DSP
Accessories: Little Treat Box Dies, Sunflower Dies, Champagne Rhinestones, Bumble Bee Gingham Ribbon, Glue Dots, Mini Dimensionals, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Hope you like my Sunflower Treat Boxes!

Be sure stop over to Vicki's blog and check out her 3D project!
I know it will be amazing!!!

Challenge With Vicki

Hello & Happy Monday!

Hope everyone had a nice holiday weekend!

Today I have a fun project to share with you!
A few weeks ago my friend, Vicki, sent me a nice package filled with goodies and she wrote a note about our next challenge. She sent me a couple of Post It Note Holders and issued the next challenge with them!
Game on, Vicki!

I decided to take these and decorate them for Christmas since Christmas is right around the corner. These would be nice to carry in your purse to jot down Christmas gifts or even a shopping list.
My favorite is the gingerbread!!

These were alot of fun, Vicki and I really enjoyed this challenge!
I still have 2 more that I will share soon!
You can go to Vicki's blog here to check out her fabulous Post It Notes!
I haven't seen them but I know they are going to be AMAZING!

Halloween Boxes for my Challenge

Hello & Happy Friday!

This time it was my turn to come up with a challenge that my dear friend, Vicki & I have been throwing at each other the last few months.

Last month I sent Vicki a card with 3 little clear boxes in and I told her my challenge was to decorate them for her favorite holiday, Halloween!

A few days later I received word from Vicki that the challenge was on!

Here are my 3 boxes:

This box uses the new Sweet Hauntings stamp set in the Holiday Mini. I added a Candy Corn that I picked up at Michael's last year. The paper is from the Happy Hauntings DSP. My twine is the thick Very Vanilla from the main SU catty. I filled this box with Candy Corn M&M's!

This box I used the Fall Fest stamp set & matching Framelits. The sentiment is from For All Things set. The paper is from an old pack of SU paper called Halloween Night DSP. My ribbon is retired. It is the 1/8 Crushed Curry Taffeta Ribbon. My sentiment was punched with the Washi Label Punch. I filled this box with Caramel Hershey Kisses! Yum!

This box I used a sentiment from a Hero Arts set that i've had a long time. The paper is from the Happy Hauntings DSP (and I really love this ghost design). The black circle is from the new Black Glimmer paper and let me say how much I love this paper! My little ghost is a glittery foam sticker that was in my stash. My twine is Tangelo Twist from this past SaleABration. I filled this box with 2 Reese's Peanut Butter Cups that are orange and they say BOO on them!

I'm pleased with all 3 clear boxes!

I cannot wait to see Vicki's boxes! Here is the link to her blog so you can go check hers out & let her some love! I know her's will be awesome! She loves Halloween!

*** ETA: The clear boxes came from L&L Stamps in Ephrata, PA. ***

I also wanted to apologize for the lack of posts lately.
I went last Friday for my Branch Block diagnostic test. I had 6 needles in my lower back. They numbed my facet joints to see how long I stayed pain free. Once the numbing medicine wore off I was in major pain up until yesterday. I was miserable the last few days. I did not hear back from the pain management doctor on whether or not i'm having my nerves burned (RFA) or the recommendation of surgery. I will let you know when I know but now that my major pain has subsided I hope to be back to posting on a regular basis!

That's all for me today!
Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!
