Slimline Card Challenge

 Hello & Happy Wednesday!

I'm back today to share a card I made for a challenge that was given by my friend, Vicki! I was really excited when her package came in the mail which had our next challenge in it and it was to create a slimline card! Game on, Vicki!

Vicki sent me a bunch of envelopes for this style of card so now I can make a few more!

Card Details:

Stamps: Tidings & Trimmings
Ink: Evening Evergreen
Cardstock: Evening Evergreen, Soft Succulent, Cherry Cobbler, Basic White, Gold Foil, Tidings of Christmas DSP
Accessories: Christmas Trimmings Dies, Circle Layering Framelits,  Evening Evergreen Ribbon, Glue Dots, In Color Jewels, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

My 2nd Christmas card of the year and I really like this style of card!
Thanks, Vicki for such a fun challenge!
You can go see her card here!
I know it's going to be amazing!

Turtle Bites

 Hello & Happy Thursday!

Hope your staying cool!
This week has been horrible with the temps in the 90's & high humidity!
I haven't been doing much...no stamping going on here.
Honestly, I have been glued to the Hallmark Channel watching Christmas in July movies! I just love them even if I have seen them before!

Today I have a cute treat to share using the Turtle & Friends bundle.
One evening as I was at the grocery store I found some Turtle Bites Candy and grabbed them to use them with the Turtle & Friends stamp set.
I saved a video from Marisa Alvarez that she had made candy treats back at Christmas time. I changed it up to use my Turtle Bites Candies and then added my adorable little turtle!

Project Details:

Stamps: Turtle & Friends
Ink: Memento Black, Granny Apple Green, Real Red, Granny Apple Green Stampin Blends
Cardstock: Real Red, Granny Apple Green, Basic White, Patterned Party DSP
Accessories: Circle Layering Framelits, 1/2 inch Circle Punch, Real Red Linen Ribbon, Stampin Dimensionals Cell Bags, Mini Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

These sweet treats are very easy to create and one that is sure to make someone smile!
Marisa suggested keeping the bag that your Stampin Dimensionals come in. I have saved them for a few months so I have a nice little supply of them.
In each bag I was able to put 4 Turtle Bites in and then wrap the excess around to the back and it sealed itself shut.
This only uses a small piece of cardstock measuring 5 1/4 x 3.
Then a piece of DSP measuring 5 x 2 3/4.
I used a 1/2 inch Circle Punch to notch my ends where the ribbon goes around the project. I kept this step for last so I could tie my ribbon tight around the candy treat. The cello bag just lays loosely on the cardstock and the ribbon holds it tight but you could always add some adhesive to give it extra support.

Lastly, I added my turtle that I stamped on a Circle Die.
I added some adorable little hearts that are in the set and my sentiment.
I used some retired Real Red Linen Ribbon from last year to tie my cello bags on and made a nice bow. Then I added my turtle with 2 Dimensionals so it stayed in place over the Red Linen Ribbon.

I absolutely love these!
Hope you do, too!

Sweet Ice Cream

 Hello & Happy Tuesday!

We are sitting in the midst of another heatwave here in PA so you know I am hibernating!
Yesterday Shawn had the day off to celebrate the July 4th holiday.
We got up early and made our way out to do some shopping before it got too ungodly hot. Traffic was nuts and so were the stores!

Today I have another hand sanitizer box to share!
This one uses the Sweet Ice Cream Bundle.

My box was made using Flirty Flamigo cardstock and then I used a small piece of the Ice Cream Corner DSP to wrap around it.
My Ice Cream Cone was stamped and punched out with the Ice Cram Builder Punch. I tied some Tulle Ribbon around the box to hold my hand sanitizer in the box.
As hot as it is, an ice cream come would not last long in this heat so maybe i'll stick to using the hand sanitizer instead!

Kelsey gave me the hand sanitizers and how perfect to use my Sweet Ice Cream bundle to go along with the Ice Cream cone theme!

Project Details:

Stamps: Sweet Ice Cream
Ink: Cinnamon Cider, Soft Suede, Flirty Flamingo, Blackberry Bliss
Cardstock: Flirty Flamingo, Blackberry Bliss, Basic White, Ice Cream Corner DSP (retired)
Accessories: Ice Cream Cone Builder Punch, Circle Layering Framelits, Tulle Ribbon, Flirty Flamingo Enamel Dot (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Art Gallery Engagement

 Hello & Happy Monday!

I hope everyone had a nice July 4th weekend!
We certainly had some beautiful weather to celebrate the USA!

I took a break from posting and spent most of my weekend at my stamp table getting inky. I worked ahead on some Halloween & Christmas things. I like to do this when I don't have other things on my plate.

Today I do have a card to share that I made awhile back for a card order.
My card lady ordered 4 engagement cards and this is one of them. I used the Art Gallery Bundle that is still current.

I pulled out my Art Gallery Suite of products to create this card. I haven't used it all that much since I had it. The papers are beautiful but now the Fine Art Floral DSP is retired.

Card Details:

Stamps: Art Gallery, Love & Laughter (retired)
Ink: Pool Party, Pretty Peacock
Cardstock: Pretty Peacock, Pool Party, Basic White, Fine Art Floral DSP (retired)
Accessories: Floral Gallery Dies, Painted Texture 3D EF, Oval Layering Framelits (retired), Pool Party Ribbon, Rhinestones, Glue Dots, Mini Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Sweet Strawberry

 Hello & Happy Friday!

Today I am hoping that the humidity goes away so we have a few days of cooler weather! I'll even take the rain if it means cooler weather!

A few weeks ago Kelsey went to Bath & Body Works and stopped by to drop off a bunch of hand sanitizers that she got for me. She uses them faithfully and I always give her some when I have them decorated. She gave me a bunch of new summer ones and I took the Sweet Strawberry stamp set and got to work!

Project Details:

Stamps: Sweet Strawberry
Ink: Magenta Madness
Cardstock: Magenta Madness, Garden Green, Basic White, Magenta Madness DSP (retired)
Accessories: Circle Layering Framelits, Stitched Shapes Framelits (retired), Strawberry Builder Punch, Rhinestones, White Tulle Ribbon (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I love making this kind of stuff and have more to share with you!

July 4th Matchpacks

 Hello & Happy Thursday!

Last night we finally got some rain but it did not cool things off any!
I threw my back out yesterday so I am sitting around nursing it for a day or 2 and hope it feels better soon! I was cleaning a watermelon and reached down to give the dogs each a piece and twisted the wrong way. Ughh!

So, today I am sharing some July 4th Matchpacks that I created with some yummy Dove Milk Chocolates!

Project Details:

Stamps: Happy Fourth (retired)
Ink: Blueberry Bushel (retired), Real Red
Cardstock: Blueberry Bushel (retired), Real Red, Whisper White, Various DSP
Accessories: Circle Layering Framelits, Cello Bags, Gold & Silver Enamel Stars (retired), Ribbon, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I sold quite a few of these and still have a few on hand to give out IF I get out this weekend! All depends on what my back wants to do!
And I would suggest to keep these as cool as ya can because with the high heat & humidity....they won't last long outside!
