Beautiful Friendship Hello Card

Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Yesterday whooped my butt doing all that housework!
I even got my downstairs done except for the bathroom.
Since Shawn is the one who usually takes care of that one I just clean everything else aka family room & my stamp room.
He was late getting home from work last evening so he did not have time to do the bathroom.
I broke out a cool puzzle that Deb left me borrow months ago and started it at my kitchen table last evening. I sat there until my eyes went wonky which was after midnight.
I may continue to pick at it today! Those things are addicting and a great way to pass the time!

So today I am sharing another card that I learned to make at one of Debbie's Facebook classes.
I'm not sure what this card style is called but it was really easy to make!

Then the white panel opens up for you to put your saying inside.
This card is exactly like Debbie's as I stamped right alongside of her when she had class.
It's been wonderful having these classes!
She gives us the measurements and colors, dsp or whatever we need ahead of time.
I have everything she used but I changed up my sentiment on the front.

Card Details:

Stamps: Beautiful Friendship, Flourishing Phrases (sentiment)
Ink: Lovely Lipstick, Flirty Flamingo, Highland Heather, Bermuda Bay, Soft Seafoam
Cardstock: Lovely Lipstick, Whisper White
Accessories: Basket Weave EF (retired), Oval Layering Framelits, Bermuda Bay 1/8 Taffeta Ribbon, Rhinestones, Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

These classes she is holding on Facebook are teaching me new things which I will share with my stamp girls once we are able to be sociable again!
I hope it's soon because I am in major need of some girl time!
You too?

Beautiful Friendship

Good Morning & Happy Wednesday!

Hope your week is going smoothly!
Yesterday our weather was absolutely perfect!
Almost a tad chilly but I am not complaining!
Kelsey came over and helped Shawn with taking Gigi & Bailee to their Vet appointments.
What should have taken an hour at most ended up being 2 hours, not sure why.
All went well though and both are up to date on vaccines.
Gigi will be returning in November for a teeth cleaning. This has been a long time coming!
A bad experience with Fluffy years ago has made Shawn drag his feet with getting Gigi's done but I told him it will improve her quality of life and help her feel better PLUS this is a different Vet than who did Fluffy's. I'm glad he scheduled her for it!

So today is going to be a very busy day!!!
Mr Aungst has to travel to Westminster MD to pick up a part sometime this morning then go to work.
He is waiting on the call that it is ready for pickup.
His phone rang a bunch of times during the night so I know he's tired.
It will be early to bed tonight!

I am off to get my day started and work on that big card order.
Yesterday I did not get much accomplished as I had another headache.
It's the change in the weather and it's driving my sinuses crazy.
I hope today is a better day!

The card I have to share today was made for my customers order.
She loves the flowers from the Beautiful Friendship set but asked if I could do them in Fall colors.
And no saying. I gave it a shot...

The no saying cards drive me crazy to make but this set came out nicely for a change.
My customer likes to use these for any occasion that would come up.
One things for sure, she loves her cards!

Card Details:

Stamps: Beautiful Friendship
Ink: So Saffron, Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive
Cardstock: Thick Whisper White, So Saffron, Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, Whisper White
Accessories: Layered Leaves EF, Rhinestones, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I cased myself on these but changed up the colors.
I made a mask on the top of the main bundle of flowers so I could stamp the Pumpkin flowers and make them look like the were growing behind the saffron flowers.
This is a fun and easy set to use and I think she will be happy with them!

I so agree!!

A Mix of New & Old

Hello & Happy Sunday!

Hope your enjoying your weekend!

Our Saturday was jam packed with things to do and we did go for a 6 mile bike ride late in the afternoon! Our weather was most beautiful and perfect for a quick ride!
Today we have a few things to do then i'm going to try my hand at stuffing banana peppers.
Shawn made them a few weeks ago and they were so good!

Today i've got a simple sympathy card to share.
My card rack is getting low in them so I need to replenish them.
I used a mix of new & old stamps for this one....

The flower panel is from a few weeks ago when I made my customer a pack of blank note cards. Somehow I ended up making an extra one.
The card base is Balmy Blue and I stamped that with the Birch Background Stamp in the same color ink. I put the flower panel on and added my sentiment from Close As A Memory in Soft Suede ink. Added some rhinestones and called this one done....

Card Details:

Stamps: Beautiful Friendship, Birch Background, Close As A Memory (retired)
Ink: Balmy Blue, Old Olive, Soft Suede
Cardstock: Balmy Blue, Old Olive, Whisper White
Accessories: Rhinestones, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Later today I am going to try to spend some time in my stamp room doing some reorganizing.
I have been working on Halloween treats this past week and my entire room is a mess.
I also have lots of cards that need to be added to my card rack.
Yep, gonna be another busy day and i'm tired just thinking about it! LOL

Beautiful Friendship

Good Morning & Happy Sunday!

Hope your all having a great weekend so far!
Yesterday we had a busy day and i'm hoping today is a bit more relaxing.
I'm off first thing to get a haircut and pick up a few things at the store.
Shawn wants to make homemade tomato soup with some of the tomatoes he picked from his garden.
The plan was a bike ride but we got the wrong sized tube for my bike tire so maybe next weekend.

Today I have another card to share that was made for my customer order.
Remember, no sayings...

These are pretty but feel so naked without a saying on them!
The Beautiful Friendship set works well with or without a saying but I feel like I struggle without a saying....

Card Details:

Stamps: Beautiful Friendship
Ink: Balmy Blue, Old Olive
Cardstock: Balmy Blue, Old Olive, Whisper White
Accessories: Rhinestones, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

These were actually really easy to whip up and i'm sure she will like them.
I kept the colors on the masculine side in case she needs to send a masculine card.

Wishing you all a wonderful day full of sunshine and warm breezes!

Thanks for visiting!

Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge #318

Hello & Happy Friday!

I hope everyone had a nice 4th of July holiday here in the US.
It was really humid & warm here with thunderstorms all afternoon.
Our garden is thankful for the rain we got!
Zucchini, Banana Peppers and Cucumbers are starting to get harvested from our garden and hopefully soon the tomatoes!
Kelsey ended up spending the night here on Wednesday because the central air went out in their apartment and it was too humid to stay there. Corey stuck it out but she stayed here.
So, today I am doing lots of laundry....stripping beds and all the doggy blankets.
I hope to get some stamping time in this afternoon but we'll see.

Today I have a card to share that I made for the Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge.
This week they have a color challenge and that gave me the reason to break open a new stamp set called, Beautiful Friendship!

What a beautiful set of colors, ones I probably would never think to use!
The Petal Pink & Mint Macaron are so soft and then bring in the Calypso Coral for a pop of color!
I will have to remember to use these colors more often as they are pretty together!

Card Details:

Stamps: Beautiful Friendship
Ink: Petal Pink, Mint Macaron, Calypso Coral
Cardstock: Thick Whisper White, Petal Pink, Mint Macaron, Calypso Coral, Whisper White
Accessories: Subtle EF, Layering Leaves EF, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Circle Layering Framelits, Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Check out the Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge if your looking for something different each week! I enjoyed this week's color challenge!
