Pretty Kitty HB

Hello & Happy Saturday!

My customer asked for a birthday card with a cat on it.

I pulled out some retired Cheerful Treat DSP from SaleABration 2011 and a current stamp set called Pretty Kitty.

This is what I made.

Since I am not good with coloring I just stamped my image in a solid color and left it at that.

HB Kitty Card:

Ink: Concord Crush

Cardstock: Concrod Crush, Melon Mambo, Whisper White, Cheerful Treat DSP (SAB 2011)

Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits, Scalloped Circle Nestibilities, Word Window & Modern Label Punches, Melon Mambo 1/8 Taffeta Ribbon, Rhinestones, Glue Dot, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

There are alot of cute images in the Pretty Kitty set that I love! 

I need to use this set more often but most times I reach for an oldie but goodie set called Meow Meow! 

That set has been used hard over the years!

Our Creative Corner Challenge

Hello once again!

I'm trying to play catch up after a week of ups & downs. I loved the challenge that the Our Creative Corner Blog threw out last Saturday! We were challenged to use Paper Weaving on our projects. Today, I finally had a chance to tackle it and I enjoyed it alot!

I also was able to use set #68 in my quest to see that all my sets see ink in 2011. This is one beloved set from SU that I will never part with called Watercolor Garden.

Mojo Monday Sketch #185

Hello & Happy Monday!

Hope your all having a great day so far!

Yesterday, I took the day off from doing any stamping. I wasn't feeling all the best so I just lounged around on the couch and watched the race.
It shot up to 87 degrees here with some nasty winds. Then durning the night we had some storms come thru and cooled things off quite a bit. Today it's about 50 degrees. Crazy, huh?

So, I checked out the Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge since I haven't participated in a few weeks. Below is the layout & my samples:

I used 2 sets off my shelf in my quest to see that all my stamps see ink in 2011. Both sets are from SellABration called Sweet Summer (set #49) and So Happy for You (set #50).
