Happy Jacks

 Happy Fri-YAY, Friends!

I am so looking forward to the weekend!!
Tomorrow we are having a Halloween Day with Kelsey that we've been planning for a few weeks now. We got a Halloween puzzle to put together and making a pot of chili to eat throughout the day. We also got Halloween pj's to lounge around in, then tomorrow night is the new Halloween movie on the Hallmark Channel that we are excited to see! I picked up all kinds of junk food which is something I don't eat too often but this weekend we are making an exception. LOL Not sure how that will go being that today is injection day for me. I guess it depends how much it curbs my appetite but I am planning on having the chili and cornbread! YUM! I will share pictures one day next week!

Today I have a Halloween card to share that was made with stuff that is in my stash.

Card Details:

Stamps: Festive Corners (retired)
Ink: Memento Black, Pumpkin Pie
Cardstock: Basic Black, Very Vanilla, Spooky Night DSP (retired)
Accessories: Patterned Pumpkins Thinlits (retired), Stylish Shapes Dies, Halloween Night Twine (retired), Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Those cute jack o'lanterns are from the Spooky Night DSP from 2017 and are diecut directly from the paper. I'm sure next Halloween season you will be seeing more of those jack o'lanterns since I had 3 packages of that DSP to use up. I'm slowly getting there!

That's all for now!

Pumpkin Fun

 Hello & Happy Fri-YAY!!

Last evening I got Audrey's 2nd card order delivered to her within a week.
I did not stay very long as Shawn wanted to get home and mow before it got dark.
She was in good spirits and thrilled that the cards got to her before the weekend!
Today I am planning on stamping for myself, atleast I hope!
Wednesday I was up early and headed down to my stamp table before 9am.
My phone rang at 9:30 and it was Audrey requesting more cards. So, instead of stamping for myself that day I ended up working on her cards so I could get them done.
I am sharing 2 of the Halloween cards that she requested for her 2 friends. I pulled out lots of retired stuff which I did enjoy using!

Both cards are pretty much the same except they have different colored bows on them.

Card Details:

Stamps: Frightfully Cute (retired sentiment)
Ink: Pumpkin Pie
Cardstock: Pumpkin Pie, Very Vanilla, Basic Black, Spooky Night DSP (retired 2017)
Accessories: Tasteful Textile 3D EF (retired), Patterned Pumpkins Thinlits Dies (retired 2017), Stylish Shapes Dies, Pumpkin Pie 1/4 Taffeta Ribbon (retired), 1/4 Basic Black Taffeta Ribbon (retired), Pumpkin Pie Enamel Dots (retired), Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

She loved them with the happy jack o'lanterns on!

I still have about 3/4 of a pack of the Spooky Night DSP leftover from 2017.
Guess I really should start using it up!

Spooky Cat

 Hello & Happy Thursday!

We've had a beautiful string of nice days the last few days!
My kind of weather where I don't have to run the AC or the heat!
We are under a burn ban as well as conserving water atleast for the next 10 days. Rain is expected this weekend and a few days next week so hopefully that will help.

Today I have another set of Halloween cards! This is set # 16!
You may recognize the items on this card as it is a more recent stamp set than some of my previous card sets. Spooky Cat was out in 2017 and it's a set that I did not use much.

Card Details:

Stamps: Spooky Cat (retired-2017)
Ink: Pumpkin Pie
Cardstock: Thick Very Vanilla, Very Vanilla, Pumpkin Pie, Spooky Night DSP (retired-2017)
Accessories: Cat Punch (retired), Square Layering Framelits (retired), Stylish Shapes Dies, Patterned Pumpkins Thinlits (retired-2017), Halloween Night Twine (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

The cat is punched from the Spooky Night DSP using the retired Cat Punch and the happy jack o' lantern is diecut from the same paper using the retired Patterned Pumpkins Thinlits.
I was able to use up quite a bit of the DSP on these cards but I still have a few sheets left.

Halloween Fun Fold

Good Morning & Happy Tuesday!

Yesterday was a dreary, rainy day and they are always good for crafting!
This morning it's rather chilly out and still spritzing.
I'm not sure if I will get to my stamp table today since I have a bag full of banana peppers to get stuffed. I stuff them with hamburger mixed with cream cheese and shredded sharp cheese then freeze them for a cold winters day. YUM!

I do have plenty to share this week so please stop back!
My card today is from World Cardmaking Day and the ladies made this one!
This is a Halloween Fun Fold that I seen Angie Juda create.

The Pumpkin Pie card base measures 4 1/4 x 11 and scored at 2 and 7 1/2.
The Spooky Night DSP is retired but I still have alot of it left and even diecut the pumpkins out to put one inside each card. I used the Patterned Pumpkin Thinlits to diecut those cute jack o lanterns out. That set of dies is retired as well.

Card Details:

Stamps: A Wish for Everything
Ink: Pumpkin Pie
Cardstock: Pumpkin Pie, Very Vanilla, Spooky Night DSP (retired)
Accessories: Patterned Pumpkin Thinlits (retired), Stitched Shapes Framelits, Circle Layering Framelits, Black Rhinestone, Dimensional, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

We used the Stamparatus for the inside saying and that made things go really quick.
One of the ladies said they liked that more than the Stamp A Ma Jig!

My neighborhood is getting more decorated for Halloween!
Trick or Treat will be here before we know it!

Do you decorate for Halloween?

Halloween Card Set

Hello & Happy Saturday!

Hope your weekend is going well so far!
It really cooled down yesterday but I am not complaining one bit!
I was just happy that I did not have to run the ac!

I have a set of cards today that I whipped up for an order.
I have alot of DSP left from last year called Spooky Night DSP.
I needed something that wasn't spooky scary and felt that paper was great for that!

Those adorable pumpkins are diecut from the DSP from last year using the Patterned Pumpkin Thinlits to cut them out. I love the Stampin Up has done this with many of our DSP's!

Card Details:

Stamps: Sentiment from Hero Arts
Ink: Memento Black
Cardstock: Basic Black, Pumpkin Pie, Very Vanilla, Spooky Night DSP (retired)
Accessories: Patterned Pumpkin Thinlits (retired), Stitched Shapes Framelits, Oval Layering Framelits, Orange Rhinestones, Basic Black 1/8 Taffeta Ribbon (retired), Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This set was a bit time consuming but well worth it!
This set of cards turned out pretty great, don't ya think?
I just love those happy jacks!

Patterned Pumpkin Thinlits

Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Today I have another card to share that I made on Saturday with my friends!
The theme was Fall/Thanksgiving....

I chose this pumpkin outline die from the Patterned Pumpkin Thinlit Dies because I loved how simple it is! I had a bit of a time getting it out of the die but that's another story!
The girls liked this one because it was easy to put together. I like the pops of gold from the twine and the enamel dots.

Patterned Pumpkins Card:

Stamps: Bounty Of The Season (Amuse)
Ink: Basic Black
Cardstock: Pumpkin Pie, Very Vanilla, Spooky Night DSP
Accessories: Lots of Labels Framelits,  Patterned Pumpkins Thinlits, Gold Twine, Gold Metallic Enamel Dots, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

The inside says Happy Thanksgiving!

Halloween Notebooks

Hello & Happy Wednesday!

It's looking like a fabulous day weather wise here in PA.
Yesterday we had some frost on the grass in the morning and I actually turned my heat on enough to take the chill off. There was definitely a coolness in the air and the leaves are really starting to fall!

Today I have the last of the covered composition notebooks to share with you!

These make a cute little gift instead of giving sugary treats and so fast to whip up!
As soon as my customer saw these she went crazy over them!
Even Kelsey has dibs on one IF it does not sell. LOL

Halloween Covered Notebooks:

Stamps: A Halloween Hello, Amuse Sentiment
Ink: Memento Black
Cardstock: Very Vanilla, Whisper White, Pumpkin Pie, Motley Monsters DSP, Spooky Night DSP
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits, Patterned Pumpkin Thinlits, Candy Corn 3D Adhesive Sticker, Circle & Scallop Circle Punches, Halloween Night Baker's Twine, Tangerine Tango/Whisper White Baker's Twine, Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

The little pens I found at Walmart in the Halloween section. 12 pens for $1.98 and the ink is the color of the pen!

Tuesday Morning Sketches

Hello & Happy Friday!

TGIF!

Yesterday I spent most of my day at my stamp table. I worked on more cards for my customer then after I cleaned up my space I moved on to making a card for this week's Tuesday Morning Sketches.

This week's sketch was pretty easy for me.
Here is the sketch and my card...

I had to create something for Halloween since that holiday will soon be upon us!
I was excited to have the Patterned Pumpkin Thinlit Dies because what I learned about that is they have the shapes in to cut out the jack o' lanterns in this sheet of paper from Spooky Night! I was beyond giddy about that! I used my pumpkins on the sketch where the flower sits. They look so happy to be on my card, don't ya think?

Trick or Treat Card:

Stamps: Spooky Cat
Ink: Basic Black Archival, Pumpkin Pie
Cardstock: Pumpkin Pie, Very Vanilla, Spooky Night DSP
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits, Patterned Pumpkins Thinlit Dies, Black Rhinestones, Mini Diminsionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I'm so happy with this! Hope you like it, too!
Stop by the Tuesday Morning Sketches and play along!

My thoughts today...

Fall starts today at 4:02 pm although it feels much more like the dog days of summer!
Maybe by next weekend we will have that Fall weather back!
I am not fond of having to run my AC but can't do without it!

That is all for me today!
Thanks for stopping by & make it a wonderful day!

Pick A Pumpkin

Hello & Happy Wednesday!

Today I have a Fall themed Thank You card to share with you.
These were made for my customer.

I used patterned paper from the Painted Autumn DSP and went from there for my colors. I used the Pick A Pumpkin stamp set and the coordinating Patterned Pumpkins Thinlits Dies to cut them out! I can see this being a very fun stamp set for Fall.

Thank You Card Set:

Stamps: Pick A Pumpkin, One Big Meaning
Ink: Pumpkin Pie, Cajun Craze
Cardstock: Pumpkin Pie, Soft Sky, Very Vanilla, Painted Autumn DSP
Accessories: Patterned Pumpkins Thinlits Die, Circle Layering Framelits, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Linen Thread, Mini Dimensionals, Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

She was very happy with them and loved the pumpkins!
I aim to please!
