Happy Halloween, Everyone!

 Good Morning & Happy Monday!

I hope you all had a great & relaxing weekend!

Can you believe today is Halloween already??
I feel like the last several months have passed me by since I was sick.
I have 2 more Halloween treats to share with you that I made back in August when the Halloween candy finally hit the shelves...

I have found that the Reese's Peanut Butter Pumpkins are a great seller and everyone loves them! For these I placed 2 of the small pumpkins in a Cello Bag and created my topper. I made 6 of these and sold 4. The last 2 are going to Shawn & Ryan for Halloween!

Project Details:

Stamps: Little Delights (retired)
Ink: Basic Black Archival (retired), Pumpkin Pie
Cardstock: Gorgeous Grape, Basic White, Celebrate Everything DSP
Accessories: Stylish Shapes Dies, Frightful Tags Dies (retired), Gorgeous Grape Glittered Enamel Dots (retired), Cello Bags, Stapler, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Next is a cute box that I created using the Seasonal Layers Dies!

For these I diecut the front & back of the box using the Black & White DSP and then I added some Pumpkin Pie ink using a Blending Brush. I thought they turned out adorable!
My trick or treaters were stamped using the Stamparatus using Basic Black Archival ink.
The pumpkin Pie layer under the trick or treaters was embossed with the Cobwebs 3D EF that is retired. The cello bag inside the box has a mix of candy in it! Reese's PB Pumpkin. Hershey's Cookies & Cream Bar, Witch's Brew Kit Kat and a York Peppermint Patty!
I made 5 of these boxes and sold 4. The last one went to Kelsey!

Project Details:

Stamps: Scary Cute
Ink: Pumpkin Pie, Basic Black Archival (retired)
Cardstock: Pumpkin Pie, Basic White, Black & White DSP
Accessories: Seasonal Layers Dies, Scary Silhouettes Dies, Cobwebs 3D EF (retired), Stamparatus, Black Glittered Ribbon (retired), Black Twine, Black Matte Dots, Cello Bags, Blending Brushes, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

And that is a wrap for this Halloween 2022!
I hope if your out trick or treating this evening that you stay safe and have fun!

Last of the Halloween Treats

Hello & Happy Fri-YAY!

 The weekend is here!
Not too much happening other than Bailee goes to be groomed tomorrow morning.
The weather is to be nice Saturday but rain coming on Sunday.
Today on the Hallmark Channel the new Christmas movies start!
I get so excited every year when this time of year happens!
I watch that channel almost everyday and I adore their Christmas movies.
Tonight the first movie is Noel Next Door that I am looking forward to watching.

Natalie Hall and Corey Sevier are two favorite actors on the Hallmark Channel so I am hoping it's a good movie to kick off the holiday season!

I know, it's a bit early to be talking Christmas but as quickly as time flies anymore....it will be here before we know it! Every year Hallmark starts the Christmas movies at this time so it is much welcomed by me!

Today I am sharing the last of my Halloween treats.
These are made with the Halloween M&M's.

First up are the individual packets of M&M's that I found this year in the Ghoul's Mix M&M's. These are the Fun Size ones.

I took some very old Pumpkin Pie DSP and wrapped around the packets and adhered shut with some Stampin Seal Plus. I added the Spider Web and Sentiment panel with Dimensionals to the front of the packet. They are from a project that I had leftover from last year. I used the Frightfully Cute set & coordinating Frightful Tags Dies bundle that is retired. The black lacy ribbon is very old. Just trying to use up the older things! I made up 12 of these and sold 11 of them!

Next are the M&M Sticks that I make for most Holidays.
I have a lady who wants them every occasion. She use to be my English teacher in high school so I am always happy to make them for her. These use a retired stamp set called Delightful Dozen. It has been retired for many years but still works well for a tag on M&M Sticks. I made 15 of these this year and they all sold.

That is all I have for today!
I am washing bedsheets then later heading out to do some shopping with Shawn & Kelsey and grabbing supper at Mission Barbeque. Hobby Lobby has Christmas stuff out and we would like to go browse and see if there is anything we need! LOL
Believe it or not....sometimes Shawn is the only one who walks out of the store with purchases and Kelsey & I are empty handed! LOL

Witch Hat Slider Boxes

 Hello & Happy Tuesday, Everyone!

I hope your week is going well so far!
I picked at a puzzle all day yesterday until I just could not keep my eyes open any longer.
I have about half of a 1000 piece done. I hope to finish it today!
We had a cold front come thru yesterday that left our weather feeling more like late November. It's windy and the temps dropped down into the 30's overnight. We are only to get to 50 today! Burrr! Coldest temps so far this season.

Today I have another cute Halloween treat to share with you using the Bewitching Bundle from the 2022 July-December Mini Catalog. It's a cute set with a coordinating punch.

Marisa from over at Kitchen Table Stamper showed us how to make these on a FB Live a few months ago. I made these before I got sick so it's been awhile. Each box has 5 Dove Milk Chocolates in.

Project Details:

Stamps: Frightfully Cute (retired), Bewitching
Ink: Gorgeous Grape, Parakeet Party, Pumpkin Pie, Memento Black
Cardstock: Gorgeous Grape, Parakeet Party, Pumpkin Pie, Basic White, Black & White Design DSP
Accessories: Witch Builder Hat Punch, Frightful Tags Dies (retired), Black & White Gingham Ribbon, Blending Brushes, Iridescent Black Dots (retired), White Twine, Hand Held Hole Punch (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I made 6 of these, 2 in each color.
I will make these again for Christmas since they make a cute little stocking stuffer!
And who doesn't like the Dove Milk Chocolates?!

Web Wishes

 Hello & Happy Saturday!

I have a quick card to share with you today that I made for Halloween!
Thursday after I finished up Audrey's set of cards, I was rummaging thru some Halloween stuff. I found a baggie that had some stamped Halloween images in. I guess I stamped them for a reason, right? I found quite a few images that I stamped from a 2004 Stampin Up! stamp set called Web Wishes. I must have borrowed the set from my BFF Deb, stamped the images and forgot about them. Seems to happen to me alot! LOL I decided to put a set of those adorable images to use and whipped up a quick card!

Spiders aren't my thing but this spider is most adorable in her witches hat carrying her Trick or Treat bag! I'm not sure what ink I stamped these images in but i'm pretty sure it was not compatible with alcohol markers! I tried my best to stay away from the black lines when coloring my spider so the ink would not bleed or smear.
All in all it turned out pretty cute and I was pleased with it!
It always makes me feel good to use older Stampin Up! things!

Card Details:

Stamps: Web Wishes (2004)
Ink: unknown
Cardstock: Basic Black, Whisper White, Black Glimmer Paper, Halloween Night DSP (retired)
Accessories: Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Stylish Shapes Dies, Circle Layering Dies, Frightful Tags Dies (Spider Web inside-retired), Black Glittered Ribbon (retired), Black Matte Dots, Glue Dot, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

That is all for now!
Gotta get ready to stamp with my friends!

Jack O Lantern Halloween

 Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Today I have another set of Halloween cards to share that I made for my card lady!
She ordered 2 packs this year and likes them cute not dark & scary.

I pulled out my box that holds all my Halloween stamps.
First one that jumped out to me was the Harvest Hello's set, another of my favorites!

Then I was going thru my pack of retired Plaid Tidings DSP and found a few scraps that I paired up with my sweet happy jack o lantern!

She was pleased with these when she pulled them out of her bag last week!

Card Details:

Stamps: Harvest Hello's (retired), Jar of Haunts (retired)
Ink: Pumpkin Pie, Basic Black Archival (retired), Rich Razzleberry
Cardstock: Thick Whisper White, Pumpkin Pie, Basic Black, Rich Razzleberry, Basic White, Plaid Tidings DSP (retired)
Accessories: Frightful Tags Dies, Circle Layering Framelits, Apple Builder Punch (retired), Cobwebs 3D EF (retired), Tasteful Textile 3D EF, Halloween Twine (retired), Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

These just make me smile....hope they do you, too!

Happy Boo Card

 Hello & Happy Wednesday!

Yesterday was a very busy day between cleaning the house, laundry & putting orders in! I could not wait until 6 pm last evening to put my pj's on and relax! It was a very dark & dreary day here which made it worse. It's to be like this for most of the week. The humidity is here so that means my AC is back on!

Today I have card #4 from Saturday's World Card Making Day get together with my friends! This one was so fun to put together and it was so nice to pull out an old stamp set called Spooky Bingo Bits from a few years ago and ink it up!

Card Details:

Stamps: Spooky Bingo Bits (retired)
Ink: Basic Black Archival (retired)
Cardstock: Basic Black, Basic White, Black Glitter Paper, Cute Halloween DSP
Accessories: Cobwebs 3D EF (retired), 1 inch Circle Punch, 1 1/4 Scallop Circle Punch, Frightful Tags Dies, Black & White Gingham Ribbon, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

The inside says "have some spooky fun"!

Owl Halloween Card

 Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Today I have card #3 to share that we made on Saturday for World Card Making Day! This was Miss Emily's favorite...

She loved the colors in this sheet of DSP and that adorable owl!
I agree!

Card Details:

Stamps: Frightfully Cute
Ink: Pumpkin Pie
Cardstock: Basic Black, Basic White, Flirty Flamingo, Basic Gray, Cute Halloween DSP
Accessories: Frightful Tags Dies, Stamparatus, Black Glittered Ribbon, Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

My hubby headed back to work today after 4 days off.
He tinkered around yesterday with his truck while I worked on some laundry.
Today it's housework for me but i'd rather be doing some stamping!
Hopefully tomorrow I can get back to my stamp table. I picked up some Fall candies over the weekend so I want to get a jump start on Thanksgiving treats before going full blown Christmas.
That is when my hands are really going to be a mess.
It's just hard to believe we are already into the first week of October already!

My thoughts today...

I'm definitely going to need an extra cup today!
Was up for about 2 hours during the night because of a very loud thunderstorm!
We had them 2 nights in a row!

Peppermint Patty Spider Boxes

 Hello & Happy Saturday!

Happy World Card Making Day, too!

My doggies are off to Doggy Day Spa this morning then this afternoon my friends are coming over to make some cards on this special day!
I can't wait!

Today I am sharing the last of my Halloween treats with you!
These are acetate boxes that Stampin Up! carries and are the perfect size to put 4 York Peppermint Patties in!
I know not everyone cares for the peppermint patties but I have a customer who usually requests them. I love them too!

I only took this one picture and hopefully you can see how they are decorated.
Each box has a piece of patterned paper wrapped around it measuring 2 x 10.
Once I adhered the wrapper on I wrapped some Gorgeous Grape Sheer Ribbon around and tied a bow. This ribbon is very easy to work with and ties a beautiful bow!
I then diecut my spider web from the Frightful Tags Dies with Black Glittered Paper then I diecut my tag from the same set of dies and stamped them with the spider from the Cute Halloween stamp set. The saying comes from the Frightfully Cute set. I attached the spider web & tag with Dimensionals and lastly I added some Black Matte Enamel Dots.

I usually try to get my papers to match my candy wrappers and I had to dig deep for this sheet of paper. I'm not sure who the maker is.

Halloween Treat Box:

Stamps: Frightfully Cute, Cute Halloween
Ink: Gorgeous Grape, Basic Black Archival (retired)
Cardstock: Black Glitter Paper, Basic White, unknown Houndstooth Paper
Accessories: Frightful Tags Dies, Gorgeous Grape Sheer Ribbon, Black Matte Enamel Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I hope you enjoyed seeing my 2021 Halloween Candy Treats this year!
I also hope that I have inspired you to create your own candy treats!
I enjoy making these as it's something different than making cards.
If you create your own treats, I would love to see them!
Shoot me an email, please!

Ghost Candy Totes

Hello & Happy Thursday!

Can you believe that today is the last day of September already?!
This year is flying by so quickly!

We are 1 day away from the weekend but it's going to be a busy one here!
Saturday is World Card Making Day!
I am having my friends over in the afternoon to make some Halloween cards!
My doggies have doggie day spa in the morning so that is why I am doing it later.
It's going to be fun!

Today I am sharing another Halloween candy treat!
I make these totes quite a bit since I have so many of the 3 x 6 Gusseted Cello Bags that Stampin Up! has retired. I learned to make these from a Stampin Up demo that I do not think is a demo anymore, sadly! She was amazing!

I used Reese's Peanut Butter Miniatures in my cello bags.
The Halloween wrappers are in orange, purple & black, perfect for Halloween!
I filled my cello bags with 9 candies.
I started with a piece of Basic Black cardstock measuring 3 x 11 that were scored at 4, 6 & 10.
Crease those score lines nice so it helps the tote to stand better.
I used a Circle Layering Framelit to cut out my window in the front of the tote.
Then I made the frame with Highland Heather with a scalloped Circle Layering Framelits and glued that on.
I put a piece of Cute Halloween DSP on the flap.
I used 2 Dimensionals to hold my flap shut by putting them under my sentiment panel. I diecut the sentiment panel with the Frightful Tags Dies.
The little ghost is punched out of the Cute Halloween DSP using the Halloween Punch. I love the little ghost!
Lastly, I added some adhesive Stars and a bow using the Black & White Gingham Ribbon! I have gone thru 4 rolls of this ribbon! LOVE IT! I hope Stampin Up! will carry it long after this mini catalog is done.

Halloween Totes:

Stamps: Frightfully Cute
Ink: Basic Black Archival (retired)
Cardstock: Basic Black, Basic White, Cute Halloween DSP
Accessories: Circle Layering Framelits, Frightful Tags Dies, Halloween Punch, 3 x 6 Gusseted Cello Bags (retired), Adhesive Stars, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I whipped up 8 of these in no time and used 2 1/2 bags of candy.
These are definitely a favorite for my customers!

Halloween Notebooks Part 2

 Hello & Happy Tuesday!

We had another beautiful day yesterday!
Shawn had taken a comp day since he has been working lots of long hours and his lead guy came back from FMLA. We did a few errands and stopped at Hobby Lobby since I have been in need of Glue Dots! I love browsing the stores at this time of year looking at all the Fall/Thanksgiving stuff....even Christmas! I bought Kelsey a Hot Cocoa sign for Christmas that she had been wanting and I picked up a Gingerbread garland and some ornaments for the Christmas Tree!
I know i'm jumping the gun but those stores will be very busy once Halloween is over and I did not want to take a chance and not be able to find them.
Oh, and I did get some Glue Dots so I went home a happy woman!

Today I have the rest of the Halloween Notebooks to share with you!
These are such fun!

These little composition notebooks I picked up at Walmart over the summer and decorated them using the Cute Halloween DSP!
This package of paper has some of the cutest prints in it that I think Stampin Up! has ever had! I hope they keep this up!
I used the Frightfully Cute & Frightful Tags Dies as well as the Cute Halloween and Halloween Punch bundles on these! Both stamp sets go well with one another and that makes it worth purchasing both!
The last one I colored my Black & White Gingham Ribbon with my Highland Heather Stampin Blends! Such a great touch!

Halloween Notebooks:

Stamps: Frightfully Cute, Cute Halloween
Ink: Pumpkin Pie, Basic Black Archival (retired), Highland Heather, Highland Heather Stampin Blends
Cardstock: Basic White, Basic Black, Highland Heather, Cute Halloween DSP
Accessories: Circle Layering Framelits, Frightful Tags Dies, Halloween Punch, Black & White Gingham Ribbon, Adhesive Stars, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

The little pens I have had for a few years. They came from Walmart.
I did pick up a pack of them at Dollar Tree this year but haven't opened them yet.  I will keep them for next year!
