Playing in the Rain

Good Morning & Happy Fri-YAY, Friends!

Today is Good Friday and most people have the day off but Shawn has to work. Boo!
I have a few things on my agenda today to do but then I hope to spend the afternoon crafting. Ryan asked for deviled eggs to go along with our Easter dinner Sunday so I am always happy to make them for him. It's one thing he does like! We are in for a delightful day with sunshine and some warm temps which I am sure will put a spring in my step! LOL I have one set of Easter cards to share that I made for on the card rack. These were a last minute creation so they will not be going anywhere this year since Easter is only 2 days away. I pulled out my very loved Playing in the Rain bundle and used that adorable bunny on my cards. Sadly. this set will be retiring on May 5th.

Card Details:

Stamps: Playing in the Rain, Excellent Eggs (retired sentiment)
Ink: Balmy Blue, Mint Macaron (retired), Memento Black, Stampin Blends- Balmy Blue, Petal Pink, Mint Macaron (retired)
Cardstock: Petal Pink, Basic White, Country Gingham DSP (retired)
Accessories: Greetings of the Season Dies, Playing in the Rain Dies, White Ribbon (Online Exclusives), Waves Rhinestones (retired), Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I used the Stack & Shuffle technique with the Country Gingham DSP which has been long retired but the perfect choice of springtime colors! I have a full pack unopened and about 2/3 of a pack that I am slowly picking at. The Stack & Shuffle technique is a fun one and really showcases your DSP. It is one of my "go to's" for using up paper and so fun!
The inside of the cards say Happy Easter.

Lucky Clover Stack & Shuffle

 Good Morning & Happy Thursday!

I have been working all week on designing card kits for future Stamp Day w/ Friends get togethers. I haven't had any card orders so this is what I do when I have some free downtime. My hands are starting to bother me especially at night when sleeping so today I am going to take it easy and get my stamp table ready for Saturday. I also have laundry to work on because that chore seems never ending.

I have another set of Stack & Shuffle cards to share with you today.
I have been loving this technique and what a great way to show off your papers!
I pulled out DSP from the 2023 SaleABRation offering called Dandy Designs. Such a pretty pack of paper! There are 48 sheets of 12 x 12 in the pack that you get for FREE with a $100 order.

I also pulled out the Lucky Clover stamp set & coordinating Lucky Clover Punch to create these. This bundle is a newbie from the 2023 January - April Mini Catalog. It's such a popular bundle that the punch has already been sold out! The stamp set is still available but the punch is not and Stampin Up! informed us that they will not order anymore due to shipping issues around the world. Having a St. Patrick's Day stamp set was music to my ears as we've not had one in many years!

Card Details:

Stamps: Lucky Clover
Ink: Granny Apple Green
Cardstock: Granny Apple Green, Pool Party, Basic White, Dandy Designs DSP (SAB 23)
Accessories: Circle Layering Framelits, Lucky Clover Punch, Waves Rhinestones (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I am thankful I was able to get this stamp set & punch as I make & send St. Patrick's Day cards every year and the papers just make it even better!

Country Bouquet Bundle

Good Morning & Happy Saturday, Everyone!

Hope your having a great start to your weekend!
I've got a pretty set of Valentine's Day cards to share that I made last week for Audrey.
This is the last set that I made for her. I do have some baby cards to share soon that were also part of her order but next week I have some really cool things to show that I made for myself! LOL

This set uses the Country Bouquet stamp set and the Country Bouquet Punch. I wish this set would have come with dies because there are so many cute images in the set that would be so nice not to have to fussy cut! I am not a fussy cutter because it makes my hands hurt but sometimes I do give things a whirl but I pay for it later! This set comes with a coordinating punch which is a great thing but I still think dies would have been wonderful.
Also on this set of cards I decided to try something called Stack & Shuffle.
Take a look and i'll explain after the pictures...

I have seen many different demo's sharing this but it was when I saw LeeAnne Greff share her cards with this technique that made me want to give it a try!

You start out with 4 different sheets of DSP that measure 6 x 6.
Also be mindful of a directional pattern.
Then you cut them in your paper trimmer all together at one time.
Here is a diagram on how to cut your DSP.

Once you have them cut you have to lay them out and shuffle the patterns to get them where you want them. Such a neat idea and it is another way to display your designer series papers!

So you stack your papers to cut then you have to shuffle them around on your cardbase, Such a brilliant idea!
There are so many stamp companies today that sell their papers in 6 x 6 size so this technique would be so easy to try!

Card Details:

Stamps: Country Bouquet
Ink: Sweet Sorbet, Mint Macaron
Cardstock: Sweet Sorbet, Basic White, Country Floral Lane DSP
Accessories: Country Bouquet Punch, Something Fancy Dies, Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I hope you give it a try!
I know you will love it if your looking for something different!
