Sweet Stems Belated Birthday

 Hello & Happy Saturday!

Hope your weekend is off to a great start!

Recently I sat down to make some cards and I was not sure what I was going to make. I have a bin that has lots of leftover bits & pieces in so I took inspiration from a piece of old DSP that was diecut with Stampin Up's long retired Top Note Die. Anyone remember that die? It was a Sizzix thick black one. Anyways, I pulled out the package of DSP that this diecut came from and made a quick card and paired it with an old wood mounted stamp set called Sweet Stems.

Card Details:

Stamps: Sweet Stems (retired 2009), Coneflower Celebration
Ink: Rose Red (retired)
Cardstock: Kiwi Kiss (retired In Color), Rose Red (retired), Basic White, Raspberry Tart DSP (retired 2009)
Accessories: Stylish Shapes Dies, Circle Layering Framelits (retired), Top Note Die (retired), Stitched Labels Framelits (retired), Exposed Brick 3D EF, Rose Red Enamel Dots (retired), Rose Red Seam Binding Ribbon (retired), Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I really love the outcome of this one even though those colors are kinda bright. This just goes to show you how much stuff I have in my stash that is worthy of a beautiful card!!
Tomorrow we are in for a snow day...AGAIN! *sigh* I may just find myself back at my stamp table and pulling out more bits & pieces from my leftover bin to see what I can create. I really do enjoy that!

Wedding Day Card

Good Morning & Happy Saturday, Friends!

Hope your weekend is off to a great start! Our weather today is to get into the low 80's! Looking forward to a bit of warm weather for a change! Shawn is headed out fishing with his friend today. Seems like he has been waiting forever for a nice warm Saturday to go! I am gonna do a bit of dusting then possibly head down to do some crafting. I noticed yesterday that my tulips in the front flower bed opened. Beautiful red tulips! So pretty!

Last weekend I spent some time at my stamp table and I was going thru a box of images/diecuts that people had sent me over the years. I found a pretty flower diecut and a few Top Note diecuts and some stamped off images. I thought that they would make a pretty card. So, here is what I whipped up...

Card Details:

Stamps: Occasional Quotes (retired)
Ink: Baja Breeze (retired)
Cardstock: Baja Breeze, Whisper White (retired), Parisian Breeze DSP (retired)
Accessories: Oval Layering Framelits (retired), Top Note Die (retired), Unknown Flower Diecut, Rhinestones, Sheer White/Silver Ribbon, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

It turned out really nice all thanks to my image/diecut box!
Only thing I had to cut was the card base and the bottom layer of DSP.
Everything else was already done.
Another card for on the card rack, WooHoo!

Wedding Card

Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Hope everyone is doing well.

Yesterday was a busy day with housework and laundry and then I made myself get on my bike and take a 7 mile ride! Our weather was pretty nice so I was trying to take advantage of it while we have it!

Today I got to my stamp table and made some cards.
The card I have today is one I made last week for a card order.
My customer requested a wedding card to coordinate with the wedding invite.

Here is the wedding invite and I know it's hard to tell but it is printed on Shimmery Cardstock.

I was trying to match up the pretty flower and I felt this DSP had a similar looking flower in it but is definitely busier than the invite. I'm sure my customer will still like it as she always tells me not to stress over cards! LOL

Card Details:

Stamps: Beautiful Bouquet
Ink: Calypso Coral
Cardstock: Shimmery White, Calypso Coral, Whisper White, Sweet Soiree' Specialty DSP
Accessories: Top Note Die, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Oval Layering Framelits, Silver Trimmed Ribbon, Silver Enamel Dots, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue
