Shawn's 2020 Masculine Calendar

Hello & Happy Tuesday!

I don't think we are off to a good start this morning as my hubby overslept and was running out the door. I got up to help him get on his way and stepped in doggy throw up. I really hope this is no indication of what our day is going to be like?!
I'm not sure which dog got sick during the night because both of them seem fine this morning.

I got hubby on his way and cleaned up the doggy mess so that means I can now get my blog updated!
I have said many times in the last few weeks that I wanted to get a calendar made for Shawn for his desk at work. The company is pouring lots of money into updating a very run down building and the recent renovation on the offices were completed in November.

I will share the first 6 months today and then tomorrow share the rest.
This is what it looked like packaged up with all 12 months sitting behind the frame.
Once he gets it to work he can remove the ribbon and store the rest in a drawer until he needs them.

I used sentiments that have meaning to us.
Hopefully it will make him smile when he reads them each month!
He has a deep love of cars so, of course, I had to include the Geared Up Garage!
He loves lighthouses and enjoys fishing.
We also love to ride our bikes which we don't get to do as often anymore.
He is definitely the best husband and is loved lots & lots!
Each month has a special meaning and I was happy to personalize it for him!
He said he loved it and will proudly display it on his desk!

I won't list everything I used on these so if you have any questions please feel free to shoot me an email and i'll get back to you!

Enjoy Life

Hello & Happy Thursday!

Hope your week is flying by!
I don't know about you but I can't wait for the weekend to get here.
Shawn has been working some crazy hours this week and he's been so stressed out.
I'm ready for him to have a few days off to unwind and just relax.
They are calling for more showers over the weekend so maybe we can get out for a much needed walk. Our poor bikes must think we've forgot about them. Hopefully soon this rainy weather will give way to more sunshine filled weekends so we can take the bikes out.

So, yesterday I made a card with the one new In Color, Grapefruit Grove.
I like it but it's not my favorite.
Today I have a card made using Blueberry Bushel.
Now that's an awesome color blue!

This DSP comes from the Garden Impressions pack,
Night of Navy is the only blue color listed that is in this package of paper but as you can see above, there is definitely Blueberry Bushel in this pack too!
The sentiment comes from the Enjoy Life stamp set which is a million dollar achiever set designed by Connie Fitzgerald.

Card Details:

Stamps: Enjoy Life
Ink: Blueberry Bushel
Cardstock: Blueberry Bushel, Whisper White, Garden Impressions DSP
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits, Oval Layering Framelits, Blueberry Bushel Ribbon, Glue Dot, Tombow Liquid Glue

So what do you think of this new In Color?
It's a pretty blue, isn't it?
This card was pretty quick to put together because everything coordinates and that's what I love about Stampin  Up!

Enjoy Life & Petal Palette

Hello & Happy Wednesday!

A late update today!
I went to my stamp table this morning and just got lost in creating so that is why the late update.

In the new catalog there is a new stamp set from a million dollar achiever called Enjoy Life.
I liked all the great sayings in it and there is also a bike in it too! Right up my alley!
I had no idea what I was going to make and just started grabbing stuff.
This is my outcome....

I started this card with pulling out some new In Color DSP and it just went from there. I grabbed a Basic Black card base and thought it looked good with it. My saying comes from the Enjoy Life set and my flowers and Basic Black branch is from the Petal Palette Bundle. In the end it turned out pretty nicely!

Card Details:

Stamps: Enjoy Life, Petal Palette
Ink: Basic Black Archival, Grapefruit Grove
Cardstock: Basic Black, Grapefruit Grove, Whisper White, In Color DSP
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits, Square Layering Framelits, Petals & More Framelits, Grapefruit Grove Grosgrain Ribbon, Black Rhinestones, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Liquid Glue

So what do you think?
Does the Grapefruit Grove look good with Basic Black?
Tomorrow I will pull out another In Color and play with it! The NEW In Colors are SO pretty!
