Frosted Snowflakes

 Hello & Happy Wednesday, Friends!

Today I have one last spiral bound notebook to show you for Christmas in July!
This one came together so nicely and the mix of blues really spoke to me.
I used the retired Gingerbread Dies which went with the Frosted Gingerbread Bundle (retired 2021) for this along with the Beary Christmas DSP that I used yesterday. Take a look...

Project Details:

Stamps: Simply Said (retired)
Ink: Night of Navy, Misty Moonlight
Cardstock: Balmy Blue, Very Vanilla, Beary Christmas DSP (retired 2023)
Accessories: Gingerbread Dies (retired 2021), Stylish Shapes Dies, Balmy Blue Sheer Ribbon (retired), Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Two Sided Tape, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I am now out of spiral bound notebooks so I will start looking for more soon. I usually get them at the Dollar Tree but it is hit or miss with them.

Beary Cute Notebook

 Hello & Happy Tuesday, Friends!

Today I have another spiral bound notebook to share with you that I whipped up using some old Stampin Up! holiday papers. I left most of the paper do all the work and added just a sentiment to finish it up!

Project Details:

Stamps: Simply Said (retired)
Ink: Real Red
Cardstock: Real Red, Night of Navy, Basic White, Blue Shimmer Paper (unknown source), Beary Christmas DSP (retired 2023)
Accessories: Everyday Arches Dies, Stylish Shapes Dies, Circle Layering Framelits (retired), Martha Stewart Jumbo Snowflake Punch, Night of Navy Ribbon (retired), Drusy Adhesive Backed Embellishments (retired), Dimensionals, Two Sided Tape, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I love how this one turned out with those fun papers!
The focal image was diecut directly from the DSP. It reminds me of the Coca Cola bears that were out year ago! Do you remember those adorable Coke commercials?

All of my spiral bound notebooks are for sale if anyone is interested in them. Just shoot me a message! All notebooks come with the RSVP Pens that have a strip of DSP in the barrel to match the notebook. These pens are worth their weight in gold! LOL

Today we are in for a very humid day with thunderstorms likely!
I know my yard & flowers could use some rain!

The Greeting Farm Notebook

 Hello & Happy Monday, Friends!

Today I am moving forward to share with you some of the holiday covered spiral bound notebooks that I made a few months ago. I get the notebooks at the Dollar Tree when they have them. I have been making these for many years and always enjoy making them!

Today's spiral bound notebook is covered with some retired Stampin Up! Winter Meadow DSP and I used a stamp from The Greeting Farm that I have had for years. I'm not even sure if The Greeting Farm is still around but I have always loved the fun images!

Project Details:

Stamps: The Greeting Farm- Rain, Snow or Shine, Amuse sentiment
Ink: Memento Black, Garden Green, Stampin Blends-Blueberry Bushel, Pecan Pie, Copic Markers- YG63

Christmas in July Notebook

 Hello & Happy Tuesday, Friends!

Life has been a bit challenging as of late. I'm sure you could tell with my lack of blog posts. Miss Bailee was back to having her poopy issues morning, noon & night. This has been an ongoing issue since she had Pancreatitis last August. We've had her to several different Vets to have her checked out. All her fecal tests have come back normal meaning no parasites or infections. They give her medicine and within a few days of stopping the meds we are back to having the poops. 2 weeks ago Shawn took her to Urgent care since our local Vets office has been booked out. They have a Vet out on medical leave and nothing was available. Again she received a bill of health, meds and sent on her way. A week later the poops come back. After a few in person stops at our local Vets office they squeezed us in to have her examined. She has not been sick and was eating good, drinking & staying hydrated. Yesterday was her appt. in which they took some blood to check her pancreas, thyroid and a CBC panel and changed up her food. It's possible she may have a chicken allergy. For now we are slowly transitioning her food from a lowfat gastrointestinal food which is poultry based to a rabbit & duck food of the same brand.  Last night she finally slept thru the night and had a good bowel movement this morning. We now just have to see what the blood work tells us. She will be 15 years old come the end of September and for the most part is the happiest dog ever! And on top of all of this my husband started a new job last week. It's been stressful worrying about Bailee but also worrying about Shawn and the changes with his new job and if you know me...I do not adapt to change very well.

So let's get to some fun crafty things!

Project Details:

Stamps: Amuse
Ink: Garden Green
Cardstock: Garden Green, Real Red, Basic White, Gold Foil Paper, Recollections Patterned Paper (Michael's)
Accessories: Poinsettia Dies (retired), Oval Layering Framelits (retired), Loose Gold Sequins (retired), Gold Metallic Sheer Ribbon, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I really love these spiral bound notebooks and decorating them!
Since we are in the Christmas in July season I thought I'd better share them before the end of the month. I made several earlier this year and always enjoy recovering them. These are one of my biggest sellers at the holidays and as long as I can continue to find the note books I will make them! Stay tuned as there are more to come!

It took me forever to fall asleep.
So, today I promised I would share the Bee notebook that I made when I made the card I shared yesterday. I love how it turned out!

Project Details:

Stamps: none
Ink: none
Cardstock: Crushed Curry, Photoplay Paper (Honeycomb Bees)
Accessories: Echo Park Bee Stickers, Black & White Ribbon (retired), Adhesive Backed Sparkle Gems (retired), Two Sided Tape, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Just A Note Notebook

 Hello & Happy Sunday!

Yesterday was such a nice day...hated to see it end!
I say that because this morning it's raining and much cooler than it's been. We even have freeze warnings in effect for tomorrow night into Tuesday morning. Crazy, right? It is still spring so it does happen.

Today I have a cute spiral covered notebook to share with you.
This one is on my shelf in my stamp room for sale.

Project Details:

Stamps: Simply Said
Ink: Fresh Freesia
Cardstock: Fresh Freesia, Lovely & Beautiful Specialty DSP
Accessories: Stylish Shapes Dies, Gold Mesh Ribbon, Sparkle Dot Essentials. Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Two Sided Tape

When I recover these spiral bound notebooks I undo the spiral and take the front & back covers off. I recover those with DSP then add a piece of white cardstock to the inside of the covers to make it nice. People can also write on the inside cover if they wish. Once I have the covers done inside & out I put the covers back on the spiral and decorate the front. I also use the RSVP Pens from Pentel and add a matching strip of DSP inside the barrel so it matches the notebook. I remember when I use to do craft shows I could never keep these in stock because they were highly sought after by some local ladies. Every year they buy up all my stock for gifts. Those were the days!
I still love making them and usually sell quite a few yearly to some friends. I like to make them for Kelsey too, cuz she uses them for her budget at home or even for work to take orders. As long as I can find the spiral bound notebooks....I will continue to make them! It's probably one of my favorite things to make!
If you want to see more of these covered notebooks please go to my side bar and look for Tablets. That will show you all that I have made over the years!

Do you have something you prefer to make other than cards? Let me know if the comments!

 Happy Wednesday, Friends!

Just wanted to share a notebook that I re-covered with some Floral Delight DSP. This one makes me smile as I love the pretty flowers in this paper. I picked up the spiral bound notebooks at Dollar Tree a few weeks ago. These make for a nice gift at anytime of the year.

Painted Lavender Notebook

 Happy Saturday, Friends!

It's a rainy, dreary morning here in south central Pennsylvania.
Great morning to sleep in, for sure!

Today I have a notebook redo to share with you! I recently found the spiral bound notebooks at the Dollar Tree and purchased a few. I take them apart and cover the front & back with our Designer Series Papers then decorate them. I have been doing this for many years and sold everyone one of them. They were a big seller at my craft shows years ago. I don't make them as much as I use to because I stopped the craft shows but I do still have customers who love them for gifts. I made this one with the Painted Lavender Bundle.

Project Details:

Stamps: Painted Lavender, Go to Greetings (retired Million Dollar Achiever Set)
Ink: Shaded Spruce, Highland Heather
Cardstock: Shaded Spruce, Basic White, Perennial Lavender DSP
Accessories: Painted Lavender Dies, Stylish Shapes Dies, Brushed Brass Butterflies, White Twine, Highland Heather Shimmer Ribbon (retired), Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue, 2 Sided Tape

**Also I use the RSVP Pens and slide a piece of coordinating DSP into the barrel to match the notebook. I find these pens at Walmart. **

I do believe that this pack of DSP will be carrying over into the new 2025-2026 Stampin Up! Catalog! YAY! I have loved this paper!

Filled With Cheer Notebook

 Good Morning & Happy Saturday!

Hope your having a good day so far!
Got my mammogram done yesterday and while I was there I had the same lady that's been doing my mammograms for the last 5 years. She had asked what medication I was on for my diabetes and I softly said I was taking Mounjaro. That opened a can of worms so to speak. She too is diabetic and is taking Ozempic! We chit chatted for a good while since I was her last patient of the day. She walked me out and said she'd see me next year and we will compare notes then! Super nice lady who may be a bit younger than me but always pleasant! Got home and made supper and Shawn helped clean up and went to the Susquehanna River fishing for a bit. Miss Bailee & I crawled in the recliner and took a nap once dishes were done. We did get another walk in before it got dark and before we had any rain. They are calling for rain & thunderstorms today & tomorrow here in PA. Our Baltimore Ravens play their 2nd preseason game today at noon so we will be watching!

I do have a fun project to share with you using the Filled With Cheer stamp set from the Online Exclusives list. It is a fun one! I found in my stash a stack of spiral bound notebooks and I decided to cover it and have fun decorating it!

Project Details:

Stamps: Filled With Cheer
Ink: Real Red, Memento Black, Stampin Blends-Granny Apple Green, Real Red, Smoky Slate, Daffodil Delight, Pecan Pie, Pool Party
Cardstock: Basic White, Real Red, Reindeer Days DSP
Accessories: Filled With Happiness Dies (Online Exclusives), Oval Layering Framelits (retired), Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Gold Snowflake Doilies (retired), Adhesive Back Snowflakes, Garden Green Ribbon (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This also comes with an RSVP pen that has paper in the barrel to match it!
I use to recover notebooks all the time for the craft shows. I love making them and still have several notebooks in my stash to play around with for this upcoming holiday! They really are fun to make and people love them for gifts!

A Christmas Note

Good Morning & Happy Sunday!

Today is to be another sunny day but quite cold!
Yesterday we broke out the winter coat as it felt like a cold winter day.
Burrr!

Today is my stamp day with friends and we're making Thanksgiving cards!
The project i'm sharing today is the last Christmas Tablet.
I had these spiral tablets in my drawer for a long time so i'm not sure Dollar Tree even still carries them. Take a look...

This uses the no longer available Joyous Noel Specialty Paper and I just layered that onto a piece of Tranquil Tide cardstock. Before I attached it to my tablet base I added the Lacy Tranquil Tide Ribbon. I wanted my tablet to look like a present. Then I quickly added my Papertreyink sentiment and called it done. It is so pretty with the Copper Foil in it!

Project Details:

Stamps: Papertreyink
Ink: Tranquil Tide
Cardstock: Tranquil Tide, Whisper White, Joyous Noel DSP (No longer available)
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits, Oval Layering Framelits, Tranquil Tide Lacy Ribbon, Glue Dot, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Christmas Tablet

Good Morning & Happy Friday!

Boy, is it ever cold & windy out this morning!
You know it's cold when the girls run out and do their business and run back to the door! LOL
Rain is on our doorstep today. They are saying it may have some snow mixed in with it.
I think it will be a good night to stay in, get some wood in the fireplace and watch some tv!

I did get outside yesterday and raked up the entire front yard!
Happy I was able to get it done even got the blister on my thumb to prove it!

Today I am sharing another tablet that I whipped up for Christmas!
I will tell you though that this Joyous Noel Specialty DSP is NO LONGER available.
They have sold out of it and have a large number on backorder which SU has said they may not have in before the Christmas Holiday and you can no longer order it. SO SAD!
This paper is so pretty with the foil papers mixed in.

Isn't that snowflake paper pretty?
I hated to even cut into it! LOL
The ribbon is Merry Merlot with a Copper Sheen to it.
Very pretty in real life!
It ties beautifully, too!

Project Details:

Stamps: Papertreyink
Ink: Merry Merlot
Cardstock: Merry Merlot, Whisper White, Joyous Noel Specialty DSP
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits, Oval Layering Framelits, Merry Merlot/Copper Ribbon, Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I make up alot of notebooks/tablets for the holidays.
Most people will ask for them if I don't have them out.
I am always happy to use up what I have left in my drawers from my craft show days!

**************************************************************
My thoughts today....

This was me yesterday raking leaves!
I had piles that were up to my knees.....I can only imagine what the back yard will be like!
Waist high, maybe!

That is all for now!
Thanks for stopping by & stay warm today! Burrrrrrrr!

Mitten Tablet

Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Man yesterday was such a dreary day!
It rained all day then got foggy as the evening went on.

Today I have another one of those notebooks to share with you.
I finally got them all finished up and ready to show.

This notebook uses retired products.

Project Details:

Stamps: Smitten Mitten, Wrapped in Warmth (both retired)
Ink: Cherry Cobbler
Cardstock: Cherry Cobbler, Garden Green, Whisper White, Be Merry DSP (retired)
Accessories: Many Mittens Framelits, Cable Knit EF, Chalk Talk Framelits, Pearls, Cherry Cobbler Stitched Ribbon, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I really like this one because this isn't just for Christmas but could be used all winter long!
I got the Smitten Mittens Bundle last year and hardly used it.
I hope to get some good use from it this year for projects like this or on some candy treats!
Won't that be cute on a bag of Hershey Kisses!?

Snowman Tablet

Hello & Happy Friday!

We made it to the weekend!
It's a busy day for me!
Laundry and getting my stamp room ready for Saturday's World Cardmaking Day Event!
I am having my friends come over to make Halloween stuff!
I am so excited! I have a bunch of cards ready to go and a few sweet treats, too!

Yesterday we found out that Kelsey has to go get her wisdom teeth out.
She had one come thru the gum and she has been in excruciating pain.
I hate to see my kiddo's in pain. Such a helpless feeling.
Dentist said her mouth is very swelled. Gave her a prescription for antibiotics and take some Ibuprofen to help with her pain. October 19th is going to be a very busy day with both our kids. Kelsey has surgery at 8:45 that morning and Ryan has to get some blood work & a cat scan done in the late afternoon. No wonder my psoriasis is back at it again! More plaques are popping out!
I am soon going to look like a spotted tiger. They are getting especially bad on my face, ears & scalp. Ughhh....

Today I have another holiday tablet to share using my favorite snowman from the Seasonal Chums set. He's so easy to color and I am happy that we have lots of new Stampin Blends to color with. Makes a world of difference!

I used a couple new things on this,
The DSP is from the Festive Farmhouse Suite.
As soon as I seen the plaid...I loved it!
And such pretty colors and prints in this pack, too!

Also the fancy diecut under the ribbon....that is the Delicate Lace Framelits.
It is on page 217 of the Stampin Up Annual Catalog.
These were on my very first order from this catalog and I just now broke them open!
I will tell you that they cut so nicely and really fancy up a card!

The ribbon is new too!
Gray Granite is a new color added to our Neutrals family and it's beautiful especially paired with Cherry Cobbler!

Project Details:

Stamps: Seasonal Chums, Flourishing Phrases
Ink: Memento Black, Stampin Blends, Cherry Cobbler
Cardstock: Cherry Cobbler, Gray Granite, Whisper White, Festive Farmhouse DSP
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits, Circle Layering Framelits, Delicate Lace Framelits, Seasonal Tags Framelits, Gray Granite Ribbon, Cherry Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I have 3 more tablets to finish but I won't get to them until next week sometime.
I will be sure to share them when they are done.

*********************************************************
My thoughts today....

Yep, that would be me!
I love Christmas!
I love the baking, the decorations, the warm cozy feeling and most of all, the music!
I know...crazy!

That is all for now!
Thanks for stopping by & have yourself a wonderful day!

Signs of Santa Tablet

Hello & Happy Tuesday!

I am posting pretty late today!
I was busy all day at my craft table and got lost in what I was working on.
I had many unfinished projects that needed done.
The project I am sharing now is one of those.
I had a few tablets in my drawer that I picked up at Dollar Tree months & months ago.
Today they got a makeover!

I used the Santa's Workshop Suite for this.
My tablets have a Kraft front & back on them so they are pretty sturdy.
My little Elf & Mailbox was diecut from the Santa's Workshop DSP.
The DSP has flocking on it which makes it very nice especially for Christmas!

Project Details:

Stamps: Signs of Santa
Ink: Memento Black, Poppy Parade
Cardstock: Poppy Parade, Whisper White, Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper, Santa's Workshop DSP
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits, Santa's Signpost Framelits, Poppy Parade Ribbon, Glue Dots, Santa's Workshop Enamel Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This is such a fun suite to play with and that flocking on the dsp is an added bonus!

************************************************************
My thoughts today....

I am excited to start on holiday projects!

That's all for now!
Thanks for stopping by & have a nice evening!
We are in for thunderstorms here with a tornado watch till 11pm!
Yikes!

See you tomorrow!
