Happy Cupcake Day

 Hello & Happy Monday, Friends!

Hope you had a nice relaxing weekend!
I have a cute card to share today that I used a variety of different products on.
Take a look...

Card Details:

Stamps: Candle Cupcake-Stampendous, Lockhart Stamp Co. Sentiment
Ink: Memento Black, Wild Wasabi (retired), Stampin Blends- Peach Pie, Pretty in Pink, Copic YG63
Cardstock: Pretty in Pink, Peach Pie, Basic White, Deja View- Alpha Blocks (Big Dots & Stripes)
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits (retired), Circle Layering Framelits (retired), Taylor Made Tags Dies (retired), Peach Pie Ribbon, Peach Pie In Color Shimmer Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Over the weekend I didn't do too much as I was so fatigued. Saturday, I went to my stamp table and played around a little bit. I pulled out my Thirty One bin that I house my non Stampin Up patterned papers in. I keep everything in a folder marked with the manufacturer name so I know. The first folder was Deja View. I only had a few sheets in there that I pulled out and made some cards with. The patterned paper on the cupcake card I still have a few pieces left that I may try to use up later this week. Then I moved over to my Iris carts and took out a drawer that has a variety of wood mounted stamps in. I pulled out the Stampendous Candle Cupcake and a Lockhart saying. These 2 brands were big back in the early 2000's. I'm not sure if either are still around today but I found it fun to pull those stamps out and ink them up again!

Do you ever find yourself trying to use up the older supplies that is in our stashes?
Sometimes it's such a surprise as to what we find! LOL
It was a good day, for sure!

Just Flying By

 Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Today I have a cute set of Halloween cards to share with you!
I used a set called Just Flying By that retired in 2002.
Lots of coloring on these but they are so worth it...

Card Details:

Stamps: Just Flying By (retired-2002)
Ink: Memento Black, Stampin Blends-Smoky Slate, Lemon Lime Twist, Highland Heather, Pecan Pie, Daffodil Delight
Cardstock: Pumpkin Pie, Basic White, Toil & Trouble DSP (retired-2018)
Accessories: Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Stitched Framelits (retired), Cobwebs 3D EF (retired), Adhesive Stars (retired), Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

All those little diecut squares were already cut and in the DSP pack just waiting to be used. I am down to the nitty gritty with this pack. I loved the colors & prints for Halloween!
Lots of coloring which took me 2 days to complete but I love how colorful it is! Reminds me of trick or treat night and all the kiddies out in their costumes!

Jar of Haunts

 Hello & Happy Monday, Everyone!

I hope you had a nice weekend!
Yesterday was another rain day but that was fine. We took Kelsey out to do some shopping in the morning then back home in time to watch football which our Baltimore Ravens lost. Today is back to the grind....Shawn back to work and i'm headed to my stamp table to finish up my 31 days of Halloween card sets! I cannot believe the amount of DSP that I have used up on all these card sets! It just makes me smile! I may just do the same thing for Thanksgiving & Christmas LOL if I have enough supplies!
So I have another set of Halloween cards to share with you using a retired set called Jar of Haunts. It's a cute set that uses the retired Everyday Jar Framelits to diecut the jars out. I was able to use them on my Mummy Jar....take a look!

I think this set is just the cutest with that Mummy Jar and different colors that I pulled out of the paper. The Cobwebs 3D EF also plays a big part on this card with those cool spider webs. This set was so fun and I am having the best time pulling out the retired sets and breathing new life into them again!

Card Details:

Stamps: Jar of Haunts (retired-2016)
Ink: Memento Black, Copic Marker (W3)
Cardstock: Bermuda Bay (retired), Sahara Sand (retired), Basic White, Motley Monsters DSP (retired-2014)
Accessories: Everyday Jar Framelits Dies (retired), Cobwebs 3D EF (retired), Nested Essential Dies, Stitched Shapes Framelits (retired), Circle Layering Framelits (retired), Enamel Stars (retired), Bermuda Bay Ribbon (retired), Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Peace & Comfort

 Hello & Happy Sunday!

I hope your having a nice weekend!
Our weather has been pretty nice but man do we need some rain! The grass has started to dry up and the ground is so dry it started cracking. We had a little bit of rain on Friday evening when thunderstorms came thru but not anywhere what we need. I think we might soon need to do a rain dance! LOL
Yesterday I had my friends over to make cards and it was a very nice time!
We made 5 cards, ate some yummy snacks and chatted alot!
This is card #1 that we made using an oldie but a goodie stamp set called Peace & Comfort.
I'm not sure when this stamp set was out because I got it 2nd hand from a friend and since it's a lovely set....I wanted to create a card for us girls to make...

We embossed the flowers with Winter White Embossing Powder on Rococo Rose cardstock. Miss Emily was amazed at how the embossing powder turns shiny & raised when it gets embossed. I'm not sure if she ever tried heat embossing before but she loved it!

Card Details:

Stamps: Peace & Comfort (retired)
Ink: Rococo Rose (retired), Versamark
Cardstock: Thick Basic White, Rococo Rose, Basic White, Rococo Rose DSP (retired)
Accessories: Stitched Rectangle Framelits (retired), Stitched Framelits (retired), Circle Layering Framelits (retired), Winter White Embossing Powder, Heat Gun, Brushed Brass Butterflies, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Rococo Rose was an In Color a few years back and it was a pretty color. It reminds me of Moody Mauve that we currently have as an In Color.

Also a quick update on my friend, Vicki:

I talked to her husband last evening and she is doing beautifully!
She was sitting on the edge of her bed and he put me on speaker phone to say hi to her. He said she was waving back! She currently cannot speak which I can only imagine is pretty tough for her but she has a chalkboard to write on to communicate. I received the sweetest card in the mail from her yesterday. It just made me smile! Keep sending up those prayers for Vicki! They are working!

Angler HB

 Hello & Happy Thursday!

Today I have the last card to share that the girls made on Saturday!
This one is a masculine card. The girls love their masculine cards!!

I pulled out my very first masculine stamp set that I bought back in 2001 called Angler!
I tend to use fishing for many of my masculine cards because are guys all like to fish.
This set was a favorite of mine until a few years ago when the Best Catch set came out. I used the Best Catch set alot in the last few years and felt it was time to showcase the Angler set again! I think I have every fishing set that Stampin Up! has ever brought out but those 2 are my favorite's!

Card Details:

Stamps: Angler (retired), Itty Bitty Birthdays (retired)
Ink: Pacific Point, Basic Black Archival (retired)
Cardstock: Pacific Point, Basic White, Handsomely Suited DSP (retired)
Accessories: Brick & Mortar 3D EF, Stitched Shapes Framelits (retired), Square Layering Framelits (retired), Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Black Enamel Dots (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I always try to have a masculine birthday card for my Stamp Day w/ Friends get togethers so the girls have them when they need one!

Butterfly Gala

 Good Morning & Happy Wednesday!

I'm hopeful today that our back porch soffit project will wrap up!
I'll be glad to have my back porch back and to be able to sit out there again.
Sunday, we packed up all the furniture and my glider and put it in the garage so the porch was empty and would not be an obstacle for the contractor. I sit out there every morning with Bailee and soak up the peace & quiet and listen to the birds chirp! I have missed that the last few days! Tonight I have an appointment to go get my 2nd Covid booster shot so tomorrow I am not planning too much. It's to be a stormy day so it may just end up being a PJ day!

I have another pretty card to share that the ladies made on Saturday.
This one uses all retired products.

I had all the diecutting done for them.....all they had to do was their stamping/punching and putting them together! Miss Emily used a Happy Birthday saying on her card instead of the Thinking of You sentiment. It has been 6 months since we last got together to make cards and she said she needed alot of cards as she bought many off of my card rack, too!

Card Details:

Stamps: Quite Curvy (retired), Butterfly Gala (retired)
Ink: Terracotta Tile (retired), Old Olive
Cardstock: Terracotta Tile (retired), Old Olive, Basic White, Ornate Garden Specialty Paper (retired)
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits (retired), Circle Layering Framelits, Curvy Dies (retired), Butterfly Duet Punch (retired), Terracotta Tile Ribbon (retired), Champagne Rhinestones, Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I'm not sure why but pulling out these retired products and using them always brings me joy! I guess sometimes I do not get a chance to use these products while they are still available so using them down the road makes me happy! I usually do not get rid of any of my stamps. I have 20+ years of many stamps. Shawn says that is his retirement fund! LOL
Men!!

Gone Fishin...

 Hello & Happy Tuesday, Everyone!

Hope you all had a sweet Valentine's Day!
Shawn & I went out to dinner last evening.....1st time we've ever gone out for Valentine's Day!
The place was packed and our dinner was very good! We got 2 Chocolate Covered Strawberries for dessert. They were dipped in Dark Chocolate which neither of us cared for but those strawberries were sweet & juicy!
It was a nice evening out but doubt we would do it again.

As I worked last week on my card lady's order she called in a panic and asking if I had any Retirement cards on hand that she could buy. I only had some for a woman since they had flowers on. She needed one for a man that loved to go fishing. I whipped one up for her!

Card Details:

Stamps: DRS Designs (fish), Gone Fishin (AMuse), Congrats (retired SAB 09)
Ink: Always Artichoke (retired)
Cardstock: Always Artichoke (retired), Very Vanilla, Basic Grey Archaic
Accessories: Square Layering Framelits (retired), Stitched Shapes Framelits (retired), Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Always Artichoke Enamel Dots (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

My card lady was thrilled with this and especially loved the sayings on it!
I aim to please! LOL

Well, that is all for today! I am going to take down my Valentine's Day decorations (since they've been up since New Year's Day) and start getting St Patrick's Day things out. Tomorrow I hope to get back to my stamp table to play before I get another card order! LOL My card lady keeps me busy!

Penguin Treat Boxes

Hello & Happy Thursday!

Today I am sharing another treat box that I made using the cute Penguin Place bundle. This was probably my most 2nd favorite set this holiday season.

The Love You Always Treat Boxes were available around Valentines Day and recently were on the Clearance Rack. I snagged 2 more packs but only used what I had left from the 1st pack. They are pretty big and hold alot of candy. These have Reese's PB Trees, Milky Way, 3 Muskateers, Twix and a Snickers in. I probably could have gotten 1 or 2 more pieces in!

Project Details:

Stamps: Penguin Place, Peaceful Deer (sentiment)
Ink: Misty Moonlight, Fresh Freesia, Just Jade
Cardstock: Fresh Freesia, Basic White, Penguin Playmates DSP
Accessories: Circle Layering Framelits, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Penguin Builder Punch, Banner Punch (retired), Rhinestones, White Glittered Ribbon, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

My pictures aren't all that great.
I sure hope Santa brings me a new camera!

Sending Thanksgiving Wishes

 Hello & Happy TGIF!

Today I have the last Thanksgiving card to share that we made last Saturday at Stamp Day. It was a fun morning with my girls!
I can't wait until the next time we get together to make Christmas cards!

This card uses mostly retired products from my stash.
We all have retired stuff and most times I love using the older things more so than the new!

Card Details:

Stamps: Seasonal Sentiments (retired)
Ink: Early Espresso
Cardstock: Cajun Craze, Mint Macaron, Early Espresso, Gold Foil Paper, Very Vanilla, Gilded Autumn DSP (retired)
Accessories: Tasteful Textile 3D EF, Square Layering Framelits, Stitched Shapes Framelits (retired), Gathered Leaves Dies (retired), Gold Metallic Enamel Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I love the colors on this one and the embossed Mint Macaron layer gives it a nice texture. As you know this Tasteful Textile 3D EF is my favorite....I use it all the time!

Happy 50th Birthday

 Hello & Happy Wednesday!

I have been so busy that it is making the week fly by!
I have spent the last few days working on card kits for my next Stamp Day w Friends get together. We don't have a date picked out yet but I wanted to get my kits ready awhile!

Today I have a Happy Birthday card that I made at the request of my card lady. She needs it for a special family friend that is turning 50 at the end of the this month.

I pulled out some Basic Grey Granola paper for this one as well as my retired Family Party stamp set. I had just ordered this set last April when the following month it went on the retired list! I'm still happy that I was able to get to because it will help specialize certain cards. Since this one is for a man I also pulled out the feather die from the Nature's Thoughts Dies that coordinates with the Positive Thoughts stamp set. I think everything worked well together!

Card Details:

Stamps: Family Party (retired)
Ink: Night of Navy
Cardstock: Sahara Sand, Night of Navy, Basic Grey Granola
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits, Circle Layering Framelits, Nature's Thoughts Dies, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I have a ziplock bag that has only scraps of this Granola patterned paper in and that is what I pulled out to use on my card! I'm not sure if Basic Grey is still even around but I always loved their prints & patterns in each collection!

Tombstone Boxes

 Hello & Happy Monday!

Halloween has arrived here on my blog!
I'm so excited to share my treats with you over the next couple of days.
Today I am starting out with the Stampin Up! Tombstone Boxes!

First off I have to say that these pictures aren't all the best as I had to take them with my phone. My camera port where it gets plugged into the laptop broke!
I will be out shopping later this week for a new camera because I am not keen on using my phone!

These boxes are pretty cool and they hold a lot of candy inside.
I wasn't sure I was going to like them but once I got them decorated and filled, I loved them! I seen many people cut a window out on them but I decided not too and just decorate with DSP. I have 3 bite size Reese's Peanut Butter Pumpkins, Ghost & Bats in these and I could probably get 1 more in there but did not want to push it.

Card Details:

Stamps: Cute Halloween
Ink: Highland Heather, Basic Gray
Cardstock: Basic White, Basic Gray, Basic Black, Cute Halloween DSP
Accessories: Circle Layering Framelits, Halloween Punch, Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Stitched Shapes Framelits (retired), Black & White Gingham Ribbon, Glue Dots, Cute Stars Sequins, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

They come in a package of 8.
You do not need anything to put them together.
2 Sided Tape is already on the boxes which make them go together quickly!
I think they are perfect for any trick or treater whether young or old!

Thanks for stopping by & enjoy your day!
I'll be back tomorrow with another treat so I hope you'll come back!
