Christmas Chapstick Holders

Hello & Happy Wednesday!

Yesterday I sat and made a few more boxes to put these Christmas Chapsticks in that I found at Walmart a few weeks ago. I've never made anything before with lip balms but once I seen the Chapsticks all prettied up for Christmas...I knew I had to do something with them!

Check these out....

These little boxes are quick & easy to whip up and the Chapstick fits snug inside. Then I added my Gingerbread Girl & Santa on the box with Dimensionals.

Christmas Chapstick Holders:

Stamps: Christmas Cookie Cutter, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink: Early Espresso, Real Red, Memento Black, Copic Markers, Clear Wink of Stella Pen
Cardstock: Crumb Cake, Real Red, Whisper White, Red Glimmer Paper
Accessories: Classic Label Punch, Cookie Cutter Builder Punch, Sm Pom Poms, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This is actually my second batch of Chapsticks made for the craft show! I forgot to take pictures with the first batch and then I was informed that they all SOLD!! So, I had to make more!

They are adorable, aren't they?

Snow Place Penguin

Hello & Happy Tuesday!

It's a very rainy day here in PA today! It's very welcomed too!
We have not had much rain the last few months and our 3 inch deficit will get caught up over the next few days....hopefully!

Today I want to share a covered Composition Notebook that I whipped up for the craft show,
I used the Snow Place stamp set with some Warmth & Cheer DSP.

I wasn't too sure about this paper for Christmas but I thought it went well with my penguin. I also just used the NOTES stamp from a PaperTreyInk set so that this notebook could be used anytime of the year and not just for Christmas.

Penguin NOTES Notebook:

Stamps: Snow Place, PTI
Ink: Basic Black Archival, Delightful Dijon, Pumpkin Pie SU Marker
Cardstock: Delightful Dijon, Basic Black, Whisper White, Gold Foil Doilies, Warmth & Cheer DSP
Accessories: Circle & Scallop Circle Punches, Snow Friends Framelits, Gold Cord, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

What do you think?

My thoughts today....

I have alot on my agenda today and it will be hard to get motivated with it being raining & dreary outside. I might have to declare today a PJ day!

That's all for today!
Thanks for popping in & have a great day!

Challenge With Vicki

Hello & Happy Monday!

Hope everyone had a nice holiday weekend!

Today I have a fun project to share with you!
A few weeks ago my friend, Vicki, sent me a nice package filled with goodies and she wrote a note about our next challenge. She sent me a couple of Post It Note Holders and issued the next challenge with them!
Game on, Vicki!

I decided to take these and decorate them for Christmas since Christmas is right around the corner. These would be nice to carry in your purse to jot down Christmas gifts or even a shopping list.
My favorite is the gingerbread!!

These were alot of fun, Vicki and I really enjoyed this challenge!
I still have 2 more that I will share soon!
You can go to Vicki's blog here to check out her fabulous Post It Notes!
I haven't seen them but I know they are going to be AMAZING!

Masculine Birthday Card

Hello & Happy Sunday!

Hope you all had a Happy Thanksgiving!
Did you venture out to shop on Black Friday?

Our Thanksgiving here at the Aungst Pad was very nice.
We watched the parade, then the dog show which is a Thanksgiving Day tradition, then ate dinner and finished the day with decorating for Christmas & watching football.
Yesterday we finally finished up decorating and we also got in some Christmas shopping too!
We do not do the Black Friday thing anymore. It use to be fun when the kids were little but not so much anymore.

So today will be a day to relax and catch my breath! Football & laundry is on my agenda but before the day gets away from me I wanted to share a card I made recently for a card order.

Take a look...

HB Mallard Card:

Stamps: Wilderness Awaits, Thoughtful Banners
Ink: Memento Black, Garden Green, Copic Markers
Cardstock: Garden Green, Crumb Cake, Whisper White, Warmth & Cheer DSP
Accessories: Stitched Square Farmelits, Classic Label Punch, Linen Thread, 2 Sided Tape

I was pretty happy with this card and really like that different plaid papers that are in this paper pad!

No thoughts today....just a picture!

The next thing I want to share are some name tags that I made for our Thanksgiving Dinner table today.

Thanksgiving Wreath Card Set

Hello & Happy Wednesday!

A late post for me today!
I spent most of today in the kitchen and finally got a few minutes to sit down and do my blog post.
I wanted to share a set of cards I made for an order.
These are another favorite of mine.
Take a look...

I used a Papertreyink stamp set for this and a SU sentiment. I'm not sure which set this is from but I know it's an older one. I embossed the Pumpkin Pie panel with the Woodgrain EF and I really liked the look of that.

Thanksgiving Card Set:

Stamps: Papertreyink, SU sentiment
Ink: Early Espresso, Pumpkin Pie
Cardstock: Thick Whisper White, Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White
Accessories: Top Note Die, Woodgrain EF, Pumpkin Pie Taffeta Ribbon, Glue Dot, Stamp A Ma Jig, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I used the Top Note die because I like the stitching that is around it and the country feel it gives to this card.
What do you think?

My thoughts today.....

My hubby most of all.
I do have many things to be thankful not just today but everyday.
My kids, my puppies, and my many friends!
They are all a wonderful blessing to me!

That's all I have for today!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great Thanksgiving Eve!

Thanksgiving Card

Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Today I have a Thanksgiving card that was made for my customer with this specific dsp.
She requested this paper after seeing it on her yearly calendar that I made her for 2016.
This was the design I used...

I used the Lil Inkers Stitched Rectangles on this card and my sentiment was punched out with the Wide Oval Punch. 3 small white pearls were added for interest.

Happy Thanksgiving Card:

Stamps: SU Sentiment
Ink: Soft Suede
Cardstock: Soft Suede, Tangelo Twist, Into the Woods DSP
Accessories: Lil Inkers Stitched Rectangle Dies, Wide Oval Punch, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This was easy to create especially using those Stitched Rectangle Dies!

***********************************

My thoughts today....

So yesterday I baked my pumpkin pie & made 2 pumpkin rolls for dessert on Thanksgiving.
Today I have a free day and tomorrow I will get my stuffing ready and get the turkey thawed.
Bring on that turkey dinner! I'm so ready for it!

That is all for me today!
Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!

3 x 6 Gusseted Cello Bag Treats

Hello & Happy Monday!

Hope everyone had a nice weekend!
It got pretty cold here this past weekend and we even had some snow! Not much but enough to cover the ground yesterday morning! It's also very windy! A hang on to everything kind of day!

Anyways, before my day gets away of me I wanted to share some candy treats that I made for turkey day!
These are easy peasy with the 3 x 6 Gusseted Cello Bags that Stampin Up is carrying this year.
Take a look...

These were quite simple to whip up using a piece of dsp measuring 2 3/4 x 9.
Then score at 1, 3 and 7 1/2.

The dsp slides down inside the cello bag and will hold the candy treat nicely while letting the bag stand. I added my Circle and Scallop Circle with the sentiment on it with dimensionals. Just have to make sure you have the dimensionals up far enough that they don't stick on the bag. Then I added a gold clip from Michael's to the top to keep my bag closed.

Happy Thanksgiving Cello Treat Bag:

Stamps: Sentiment is an old Michael's $1 Bin Stamp
Ink: Early Espresso, Tangelo Twist
Cardstock: Whisper White, Early Espresso, Tangelo Twist, Into the Woods DSP
Accessories: Circle & Scallop Circle Punches, 3 x 6 Gusseted Cello Bags, Leaf Button, Gold Clips from Michael's, Early Espresso Stitched Ribbon, Tangelo Twist Thick Twine, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

These were filled with Twix, Kit Kats and Reese's PB Cups!

If your looking for something quick & easy to whip up......these are it!
I will be doing these for Christmas too! SO fun!

*************************************************

No thoughts today....just a picture!

I am preparing today for our Thanksgiving!
Heading to the kitchen shortly to get my Pumpkin Rolls & a Pumpkin Pie made!
I just hope no one gets hungry for them till Thursday gets here! hehe!

That's all for today!
Thanks for stopping by & have a wonderful day!

Thanksgiving Nugget Packs

Hello & Happy Sunday!

Hope your enjoying the weekend!
Our weather has gotten much colder in the last 24 hours...and windy too!
Although I am not ready for winter weather (and they are calling for flurries today) I am looking forward to doing my baking this week with cooler temps so my little kitchen doesn't heat up too drastically!

Anyways, today I have some Nugget Packs to share that I whipped up for Thanksgiving. I used dsp from Hobby Lobby that was in my stash for awhile now. I did not purchased any fall related paper from SU this year just so it would make me use up what I already have.

I used up many things that were in my stash for these...even those cute little leaf brads!

Thanksgiving Nugget Packs:

Stamps: SU Sentiment
Ink: Early Espresso
Cardstock: Early Espresso, The Paper Studio DSP (Hobby Lobby)
Accessories: Wide Oval Punch, Leaf Brads, 2 x 8 Cello Bags, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

These would look fabulous on your guests place settings for Thanksgiving Dinner and the Hershey Nuggets would make a sweet after dinner treat! Everyone loves chocolate!

My thoughts today....

I am not much of a NASCAR fan anymore but my son watches everything NASCAR and is a huge fan. He already warned me that today he will be tied up watching the last race of the season! He lives for any & everything NASCAR!
Who are you rooting for?

That's all I have for today!
Thanks for stopping by & enjoy your Sunday!

Thanksgiving M&M Sticks

Hello & Happy Saturday!

Today is to be a nice day then later this afternoon/evening a major cold front is to come thru taking with it all this nice weather and giving us a taste of winter! Yikes....i'm sure it's going to be quite a shock on the body after all this nice weather we've had.
I guess all good things have to come to an end eventually, right?!

So, I have this one customer who loves the M&M Sticks and requests them for every holiday!
I am sad that SU has retired these bags so I made sure to buy ALOT of them before they were gone.
Here is my Thanksgiving 2016 version of the M&M Sticks.

I used the Thoughtful Branches set on these and really like the color of my Fall leaves! I was going to add a gold foil leaf to these but the more I looked at them the more I liked it just the way they were. I think sometimes less is more!
I was able to whip up 28 sticks from 2 packs of the Fall M&M's.

Thanksgiving 2016 M&M Sticks:

Stamps: Thoughtful Branches, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink: Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze, Early Espresso
Cardstock: Crushed Curry, Whisper White
Accessories: 1 x 8 Cello Bags (retired), Circle & Scallop Circle Punches, 1/4 Handheld Hole Punch, Crushed Curry Baker's Twine, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Lucky for my customer I still have like 8 full packs of these cello bags left!
I also did up a bunch for Christmas too! Definitely a fun & easy project to whip up in no time and who doesn't like M&M's??

My thoughts today....

....and wishing you a happy day!

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the weekend!

Pumpkin Boxes

Hello & Happy Friday!

It's going to be a beautiful day here in south central PA!

I raked leaves in the backyard yesterday while the weather was nice but this weekend we are going to get a taste of winter so hopefully we can get the majority of them out to the curb so the leaf truck can stuck them up!

I got all my card orders completed and craft show stuff has been delivered. I will be moving on to baking my goodies for Thanksgiving next week! I'm looking forward to Thanksgiving this year!

Today I am sharing these cute Curvy Keepsake Boxes that I made up for Thanksgiving.

Pumpkin Boxes:

Stamps: Hardwood Background Stamp, Sentiment by Verve Stamps
Ink: Pumpkin Pie, Early Espresso
Cardstock: Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White, Gold Glimmer Paper
Accessories: Curvy Keepsake Box Thinlits, Beautiful Branches Thinlits, Gold Gems, Linen Thread, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Thanksgiving Treats

Hello & Happy Thursday!

We are 1 week away from Thanksgiving here in the USA!
I don't know about you but I am SO ready for Turkey and all the fixings and Pumpkin Pie! Mmmmmm!

So, I had a call last week from my dear sweet customer who requested some Thanksgiving treats to give her family & friends and i'm always happy to do what I can!

Today my project is a box that I made and put a cello bag inside filled with Hershey Kisses.
Take a look...

My sentiment is an old Stampin Up stamp. The dsp is from last year called Into the Woods.
I went with this dsp and Cajun Craze cardstock since my Hershey Kisses matched the colors. The box is very simple. It is from Angie Juda and here is the link to a video if your interested in making one however you will need the Envelope Punch Board.

Happy Thanksgiving Treat Box:

Stamps: SU
Ink: Cajun Craze
Cardstock: Cajun Craze, Very Vanilla, Into the Woods DSP
Accessories: Envelope Punch Board, Circle Punches, Sm Cello Bags, Very Vanilla Thick Twine, Gold Gems, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I like this as a sweet treat for each place setting at the dinner table.
What do you think?

***************************************************

My thoughts today......

I have to tell you that Kelsey got me a Keurig for Mother's Day.
I really did not want one because of the cost and I was quite happy with my old coffee pot.
Since getting the Keurig we have been buying all kinds of the K-Cups for it and trying things that we would never try! I got some tomato soup for it which I love! It makes all kinds of different coffee's, tea's, hot cocoa's and now soups! And to top it off....I drink probably 3 cups of coffee a day which I never did before! I love coffee time!

That's all for today!
Thanks for stopping by & have a wonderful day!
