Lower humidity just for the day and tomorrow it's back along with rain & thunderstorms.

Miss Bailee has a Vet appt this morning for a check up after her hospital visit a month ago. Then this afternoon we will go run some errands before Ravens football this evening. 

I'm looking forward to a good day!

Petals of Beauty Wedding

I hope that you had a restful weekend!

Today I have a card to share that was made with some new products from the Stampin Up! Online Exclusives. I love that they give us holiday products early especially for those who do craft shows or stamp classes. It gives people time to create way before the holiday arrives. I use to do craft shows and back then I felt like I was scrambling to get projects done and ready by a certain time. From September- December I was in craft show mode. Now they give us product over the summer months to help us get started early which is a good thing even though I no longer do shows. I do like to have my friends over to make cards but that has been put on the way side since my friend was in the hospital earlier this year. I'm not quite sure she is up for making cards anymore. Anyways, I did get some new things from the Online Exclusives and started picking at some cards for the upcoming holidays. Today's card is for Thanksgiving.

Something To Crow About

 Hello & Happy Fri-YAY, Friends!!

The weekend is here but boy is it going to be a hot & humid one here!

My plan is to hibernate and possibly clean out some closets! We have alot of clothes that we need to go thru and get rid of and since it's to be a scorcher outside. Some will get thrown away and the rest will go to Goodwill. 

I have a fun Fall card to share today made with a new bundle called Fun for Fall. It reminds me of another Stampin Up! set from years ago called Happy Fall Y'all! And even if I did not diecut out all those little pieces ahead of time, that scarecrow is just the sweetest & fun to color!

Floral Impressions Thank You

Hello & Happy Thursday, Friends!

I do believe that the dog days of summer have arrived. It is hot, humid and the locusts are making noises which reminds me that school will soon be starting. I have seen 2 buses go thru our development earlier this week so it won't be long!

Today I have a pretty card to share that I made with bits & pieces of different things. I already had the sentiment panel stamped & diecut but when it went thru the diecutting machine it shifted and a bottom portion of it was cut off. I kept it thinking that I would use it on something and just cover up the bottom of it. I pulled out my Impressions Abloom bundle which is retired now and stamped my pretty flower in Crushed Curry. I also used the coordinating Floral Impressions DSP that was 2 pieces of scraps in the pack. In the end it made the prettiest card and since I am always in need of Thank You cards it worked out nicely!

Filled With Sweetness

Yesterday we had a nice weather day but as the day went on it started to get really muggy.

Even Miss Bailee decided that a short walk was all she wanted to do. She does not handle the heat very well and sure likes to lay in front of the fan after a walk. We are in for rain & storms today but no complaining from me....we need the rain!

Today I have a fun card to share made using the Filled With Sweetness bundle from the March 2026 Online Exclusives. I have had this suite of products since it became available and have not used it much. I really thought that Audrey would have liked the fruit in the suite but hasn't requested anything for me to use it. So, yesterday I pulled it out and played with it for a bit. I am always in need of Thank You cards so that is where I started.

Oh My Fright Treat

 Hello & Happy Sunday!

We are in for a stormy day so I'm not so sure we will get out for a walk or bike ride.

One day earlier this week we popped into a local grocery store to grab a few things and I found that the store already had some Halloween candies out on the shelves! I was kinda shocked by that being that it was only the end of July. I saw a box of one of my favorite candies all decorated for Halloween and I grabbed a few boxes of them...

And so my mind went directly to our Stampin Up! Halloween selection this year and I thought, how perfect! This is what I made with these cute little boxes...

The box really did not need much more so I just put a belly band around the center where the words were and decorated it with my friendly little ghost and added a few bats to finish it up!

Boo To You!!

 Hello & Happy Saturday, Friends!

Things are still going good here at the Aungst Pad with Miss Bailee.

The last 2 days we have seen a big improvement in her. Her spunky attitude seems to have returned and her tail is definitely wagging alot more. We even took her out for a small walk last evening! I am hoping things will continue to be good.

I made my way to my stamp table yesterday. I have so many new stamp things sitting on my table that were begging to be used. I pulled out the Oh My Fright bundle that is on the Stampin Up Online Exclusives list. I've had this suite for awhile but haven't been able to use it till now.

Life Update & Pretty Poinsettia Card

 Hello & Happy Friday, Friends!

I know it has been over a week since I last posted. Life has really thrown us a few curve balls lately. Wednesday the 15th Miss Bailee went back to the diarrhea, wasn't eating, shaking and was in pain. We rushed her to a local Emergency Vet. We waited 6 hours for the Vet to come talk to us because they had quite a few emergencies. Thankfully, in those 6 hours Bailee was in the ER hospital getting treated with IV fluids & pain meds. They thought she was having another pancreatitis flare. Suggested letting her in the hospital and doing an ultrasound the next day. That showed that she has Inflammatory Bowel Disease which 100% explains why she had diarrhea so much in the last year. They also suspected pancreatitis so they started her on an injectable medicine called Panoquelle. She needed 3 of those injections 24 hours apart. Friday morning she was discharged but we had to take her back that evening to get her last Panoquell injection. Her ultrasound also showed spots on her liver which may or may not be cancerous. They suggested a needle aspirate to do a biopsy but I said no. She will be 15 at the end of September and we just did not want to put her through anymore. She has been sleeping alot and so far we have had 2 episodes of diarrhea since she came home. They put her on prednisolone steroid to help get rid of the inflammation in her intestines which is causing this. She is strictly on her lowfat canned food and returns to see her Vet on Aug 15th. She really does not seem like herself since coming home. There are times we see improvements in her but nothing that has stayed. We've had that talk about putting her to sleep if things do not get any better and I truly hate to say that because she has been the most perfect dog ever but we don't want her to keep suffering with this. I have been a worrying, crying mess. Then I ended up having a medical emergency last week where I passed out while we were taking a walk. All the stress of this and not eating or drinking got the best of me. I fell in the street and Shawn had one heck of a time waking me up. I almost went for an ambulance ride but he managed to get me awake and get me home where I got so sick. I felt better in a few days but that was certainly a very scary thing! So that is where things stand at the moment.
