Happy Halloween, Everyone!

 Good Morning & Happy Monday!

I hope you all had a great & relaxing weekend!

Can you believe today is Halloween already??
I feel like the last several months have passed me by since I was sick.
I have 2 more Halloween treats to share with you that I made back in August when the Halloween candy finally hit the shelves...

I have found that the Reese's Peanut Butter Pumpkins are a great seller and everyone loves them! For these I placed 2 of the small pumpkins in a Cello Bag and created my topper. I made 6 of these and sold 4. The last 2 are going to Shawn & Ryan for Halloween!

Project Details:

Stamps: Little Delights (retired)
Ink: Basic Black Archival (retired), Pumpkin Pie
Cardstock: Gorgeous Grape, Basic White, Celebrate Everything DSP
Accessories: Stylish Shapes Dies, Frightful Tags Dies (retired), Gorgeous Grape Glittered Enamel Dots (retired), Cello Bags, Stapler, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Next is a cute box that I created using the Seasonal Layers Dies!

For these I diecut the front & back of the box using the Black & White DSP and then I added some Pumpkin Pie ink using a Blending Brush. I thought they turned out adorable!
My trick or treaters were stamped using the Stamparatus using Basic Black Archival ink.
The pumpkin Pie layer under the trick or treaters was embossed with the Cobwebs 3D EF that is retired. The cello bag inside the box has a mix of candy in it! Reese's PB Pumpkin. Hershey's Cookies & Cream Bar, Witch's Brew Kit Kat and a York Peppermint Patty!
I made 5 of these boxes and sold 4. The last one went to Kelsey!

Project Details:

Stamps: Scary Cute
Ink: Pumpkin Pie, Basic Black Archival (retired)
Cardstock: Pumpkin Pie, Basic White, Black & White DSP
Accessories: Seasonal Layers Dies, Scary Silhouettes Dies, Cobwebs 3D EF (retired), Stamparatus, Black Glittered Ribbon (retired), Black Twine, Black Matte Dots, Cello Bags, Blending Brushes, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

And that is a wrap for this Halloween 2022!
I hope if your out trick or treating this evening that you stay safe and have fun!

Ghoulish Delights

 Good Morning & Happy Wednesday!

Today I am sharing the last project we made at my recent Stamp Day w/ Friends get together.
I sometimes like to share with the girls a treat holder and one that is simple to make!
Stampin Up brought out these cute Peekaboo Treat Bags that are like nothing I have ever seen before. They come in a package of 10, 5 White and 5 Kraft. Food safe bags that are fun to decorate!

Since I had some leftover M&M's on hand that is what I used in the bags and I decorated it by the colors of the M&M's.

Project Details:

Stamps: Bewitching, Ghoulish Goodies (retired)
Ink: Memento Black, Pumpkin Pie, Stampin Blends- Gorgeous Grape, Parakeet Party, Pumpkin Pie
Cardstock: Basic White, Gorgeous Grape & Parakeet Party DSP
Accessories: Stamparatus, Stylish Shapes Dies, Witch Hat Builder Punch, Peekaboo Treat Bags, Parakeet Party Metallic Ribbon, Glitter Washi Tape, Gorgeous Grape Enamel Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I have been wanting to use these bags and forgot I had them.
They hold a nice amount of candy and I love that they stand up on their own!

Update on my doctor appointment:

My insurance would not approve my inhaler that I have been using for the last month. My doctor gave me samples that she had in the office in September and they did not have anymore so she sent a script in to CVS. This was for a different inhaler with the same medicine in it. Insurance approved it immediately. Shawn ran to pick it up after supper last evening. It cost $95 with insurance! I think both of our jaws hit the floor. Without insurance it would have cost $389! Doctor gave me 2 refills on the inhaler but let's hope after sticker shock that I won't need to refill it. This inhaler is completely different from my last one. This is an aerosol one where my other one was a pill that crushed and you inhaled the dust. And this new one I have to use twice a day instead of once.

And all my bloodwork came back very good this time which I was pleased about.
I was diagnosed with Diabetes in April 2021 and so far have been able to stay away from being put on medicine. I try to move as much as I can and watch what I eat for the most part. Sweets are my downfall.

Bewitching Card

Good Morning & Happy Tuesday, Everyone!

We have a rainy, dreary day on tap here which makes for a good day to grab a nap!
Had my check up at the doctor last evening.
She put me on the inhaler for another month for my cough and I got a flu shot.
Also had blood work done which I won't know the results of that until later today.
I sure between the Prednisone & my inhaler (which is a corticosteroid) it's definitely going to be throwing my numbers off for my A1c and sugar glucose.

I have the last card from my recent Stamp Day w/ Friends get together to share with you!
This one uses the Bewitching bundle from the July-December Mini Catalog and used the Witch Hat Builder Punch to coordinate with it.

I love the colors on this one and how fun was it to color that hat and the witch's legs!
We stamped the legs & witch's hat using the Stamparatus which makes it so easy! After we stamped and got the desired look we left it sit a few minutes to dry then colored with Stampin Blends.

Card Details:

Stamps: Bewitching, Best Witches
Ink: Memento Black, Gorgeous Grape, Stampin Blends-Pumpkin Pie, Parakeet Party, Gorgeous Grape, Daffodil Delight
Cardstock: Basic Black, Parakeet Party, Basic White, Black & White DSP
Accessories: Stamparatus, Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Tailor Made Tags Dies, Witch Hat Builder Punch, Tasteful Textile 3D EF (retired), Black Matte Dots, Black Glittered Ribbon (retired), Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This is just so pretty and the way I like Halloween!

Happy BOO!

 Hello & Happy Monday!

I hope you all had a nice weekend!
I have a busy day ahead with getting my cleaning done and then this evening I have a doctor appointment. Red Lion's Halloween Parade is tonight, too!

I am sharing the 3rd card that the the girls made for my recent Stamp Day w/ Friends get together. This card I cased from another demonstrator, Bonnie O'Neil. I had it saved in my favorites for quite awhile and decided to make it with the girls.

The little ghost came from a Paper Pumpkin Kit from a few years ago.
I had a few of them leftover so they were put to good use!

Card Details:

Stamps: Monster Munchies (retired)
Ink: Gorgeous Grape
Cardstock: Basic Black, Basic White, Gorgeous Grape, Pumpkin Pie, Granny Apple Green
Accessories: Cobwebs 3D EF (retired), Oval Layering Framelits, Ghost (past PP Kit), Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I love the pretty colors on this one!
Halloween does not need to be dark & scary and I do try to keep them bright & happy for the most part unless I know someone likes the scary stuff.
For me, I'll take cute for Halloween anyday!

Halloween Wreath

 Good Morning & Happy Sunday!

Hope your weekend is going well.
Miss Bailee got her bath & haircut yesterday and looks great!
I took these pictures of her while sitting outside yesterday afternoon.
I could not get her to look directly at me. I think she knows when you want to take a good picture of her! Little stinker!

She's quite the little ham and just the sweetest dog!

So today I have a card to share that we made from last Saturday's Stamp Day.
This one uses the retired Sparkle of the Season bundle from last year.

Card Details:

Stamps: Sparkle of the Season
Ink: Basic Black Archival
Cardstock: Basic Black, Pumpkin Pie, Basic White, Cottage Gingham DSP
Accessories: Scalloped Contour Dies, Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Seasonal Swirls Dies, Black & White Gingham Ribbon, Black Rhinestones (retired), Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This card was my favorite from all the Halloween cards we made.
I used the cutest saying stamp on the inside that perfectly goes with the pumpkins, bats and the witch's broom on the front! I forgot to take a picture of the inside.

Scary Cute Fun Fold

 Good Morning & Happy Saturday!

Today I have a cute Halloween card to share that the girls made last Saturday at my Stamp Day w/ Friends get together. It uses the Scary Cute stamp set with the coordinating Scary Silhouette Dies. The card measures 4 1/4 x 11 scored at 1 1/2 and 5 1/2. The little flap on the front of the card is folded towards the front of the card and adhered down so our focal piece lays flat.

Card Details:

Stamps: Scary Cute
Ink: Basic Black Archival (retired)
Cardstock: Basic Black, Crushed Curry, Basic White, Celebrate Everything DSP (hostess)
Accessories: Stylish Shapes Dies, Circle Layering Framelits, Scary Silhouette Dies, Celebrating Tags Dies, Black Glittered Ribbon (retired) Glue Dots, Black Matte Dots, Stamparatus, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

We used the Stamparatus to get a good deep impression for our little trick or treaters.
We inked it up 3 times and stamped to get the perfect image!
The girls loved this one however when I put my card together I realized I did not cut some of my pieces to the right measurement. I had to go cut a few new pieces to the right size once we finished up. I guess when I was sick I was really off my game.
I am feeling much better but I do still have that cough, just not as bad.
I see my doctor on Monday so we will see what she suggests. I am still using the inhaler for a few more days. I think I may need to be on it longer.

Last of the Halloween Treats

Hello & Happy Fri-YAY!

 The weekend is here!
Not too much happening other than Bailee goes to be groomed tomorrow morning.
The weather is to be nice Saturday but rain coming on Sunday.
Today on the Hallmark Channel the new Christmas movies start!
I get so excited every year when this time of year happens!
I watch that channel almost everyday and I adore their Christmas movies.
Tonight the first movie is Noel Next Door that I am looking forward to watching.

Natalie Hall and Corey Sevier are two favorite actors on the Hallmark Channel so I am hoping it's a good movie to kick off the holiday season!

I know, it's a bit early to be talking Christmas but as quickly as time flies anymore....it will be here before we know it! Every year Hallmark starts the Christmas movies at this time so it is much welcomed by me!

Today I am sharing the last of my Halloween treats.
These are made with the Halloween M&M's.

First up are the individual packets of M&M's that I found this year in the Ghoul's Mix M&M's. These are the Fun Size ones.

I took some very old Pumpkin Pie DSP and wrapped around the packets and adhered shut with some Stampin Seal Plus. I added the Spider Web and Sentiment panel with Dimensionals to the front of the packet. They are from a project that I had leftover from last year. I used the Frightfully Cute set & coordinating Frightful Tags Dies bundle that is retired. The black lacy ribbon is very old. Just trying to use up the older things! I made up 12 of these and sold 11 of them!

Next are the M&M Sticks that I make for most Holidays.
I have a lady who wants them every occasion. She use to be my English teacher in high school so I am always happy to make them for her. These use a retired stamp set called Delightful Dozen. It has been retired for many years but still works well for a tag on M&M Sticks. I made 15 of these this year and they all sold.

That is all I have for today!
I am washing bedsheets then later heading out to do some shopping with Shawn & Kelsey and grabbing supper at Mission Barbeque. Hobby Lobby has Christmas stuff out and we would like to go browse and see if there is anything we need! LOL
Believe it or not....sometimes Shawn is the only one who walks out of the store with purchases and Kelsey & I are empty handed! LOL

Happy Jacks for Halloween

 Good Morning & Happy Thursday!

The last few days have been a bit on the cold side with frost & freeze warnings here.
I wasn't quite ready for it to be that cold just yet but they say it's to be short lived and it will warm up the next several days.
Yesterday I spent some time at my stamp table working on projects for the next Stamp Day w/ Friends get together. I have 1 more kit to do before I can get something scheduled with the girls but I don't think today will be the day. With this cold weather my hands are aching and I think I need to let them rest. However, I do have some laundry waiting on me and I want to make some soup for supper tonight. Best way to beat the cold is with soup!

Today I have a cute card & a treat to share with you that I made last week for Audrey.
She requested another pack of the Jack o' Lantern cards with no saying on and also asked if I had any of the Halloween Oreo Cookie Packs this year. I did but never got around to making anything with them since I was sick.
First I will share the cards then the treat!

I only had scraps of this pretty Black & White paper leftover from the cards I made her previously but I figured I'd use up what I had! This paper is from the Plaid Tidings DSP from a few years ago. One of the nicest paper packs Stampin Up! ever had in my opinion.

Card Details:

Stamps: Harvest Hello's (retired)
Ink: Pumpkin Pie, Soft Suede, Granny Apple Green, Basic Black Archival (retired)
Cardstock: Pumpkin Pie, Basic White, Granny Apple Green, Soft Suede, Plaid Tidings DSP (retired)
Accessories: Apple Builder Punch (retired), Tasteful Textile 3D EF (retired), Linen Thread, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

They are such cute cards and I'm happy with how they turned out!

Next up are the Halloween Oreo Packs...

I only had 7 packs of the Halloween Oreo's left,
Shawn has been hitting them up! LOL
Then after rummaging thru my stamp drawers I found these small 2x2x2 Kraft Boxes that Stampin Up! carried awhile back and I only had 7 of them left! Just what I needed for my Oreo's! I cut 1 3/4 square pieces of the Gingham Cottage DSP and lined all 5 sides of my boxes.
Then I stamped and punched my Happy Jack o' Lanterns and assembled them. I put them on my boxes with Dimensionals. And then put the sentiment panels on top with Dimensionals.
Again, I was so pleased with them and so was Audrey!

Project Details:

Stamps: Harvest Hello's (retired), Wonderfully Wicked (retired)
Ink: Pumpkin Pie, Basic Black Archival (retired), Granny Apple Green, Soft Suede
Cardstock: Pumpkin Pie, Soft Suede, Granny Apple Green, Basic White, Gingham Cottage DSP
Accessories: Apple Builder Punch, Circle Layering Framelits, Stylish Shapes Dies, Linen Thread, Black Matte Dots, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Sometimes it's great that we hang on to the retired things and the Harvest Hello's set is one that will stay with me until I simply cannot stamp any longer! It is one of the cutest non scary Halloween/ Fall sets ever!

Skeleton Boxes for Trick or Treat

 Hello & Happy Wednesday!

This week seems to be flying by!
Yesterday I finished up my puzzle then I had some work to do at my stamp table.
Here is the puzzle...

It was pretty easy until I got to the trees. At that point all the pieces looked the same!
I love the challenge of doing a puzzle when time allows. I have a Christmas one downstairs that I hope to get started on in a few weeks.

Today I have another sweet treat to share that I made for Halloween.
Marisa from Kitchen Table Stamper made these sweet little boxes on one of her FB Lives over the summer. I printed out the tutorial and made some for Trick or Treat!

If you know me you know that I am always pleased when everything coordinates.
I have learned over the years that it is pleasing to the eye when it all matches and presentation is everything! My dear friend, Pam, taught me that from years of doing the Llama Loop Farm Craft Show. Sadly, just recently she sold her farm and moved. I have so many fond memories of being on the farm and spending time with Pam. The farm became too much for them to take care of anymore and I know it was bittersweet for them to leave it. And so that is why I always try to match things up when creating cards or treats! Anyways, I made these boxes after finding the Kit Kat candy bars at my local Giant store. And those smiling skeletons are fussy cut from last year's Cute Halloween DSP.

Project Details:

Stamps: Wonderfully Wicked (retired)
Ink: Highland Heather
Cardstock: Highland Heather, Basic White, Cute Halloween DSP (retired)
Accessories: Simply Score Board, Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Velcro Dots, Iridescent Black Dots (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Each box has one Kit Kat in. I tried to squeeze 2 in it but I has afraid of the box tearing.
I have a few of these left so I will start handing them out to some neighbors and others we see in our travels this week. We decided not to hand candy out this year for Trick or Treat night. Last few years we only had maybe 20 kids and with me still coughing I am not going to go out and sit in the cold air and make things worse.

Witch Hat Slider Boxes

 Hello & Happy Tuesday, Everyone!

I hope your week is going well so far!
I picked at a puzzle all day yesterday until I just could not keep my eyes open any longer.
I have about half of a 1000 piece done. I hope to finish it today!
We had a cold front come thru yesterday that left our weather feeling more like late November. It's windy and the temps dropped down into the 30's overnight. We are only to get to 50 today! Burrr! Coldest temps so far this season.

Today I have another cute Halloween treat to share with you using the Bewitching Bundle from the 2022 July-December Mini Catalog. It's a cute set with a coordinating punch.

Marisa from over at Kitchen Table Stamper showed us how to make these on a FB Live a few months ago. I made these before I got sick so it's been awhile. Each box has 5 Dove Milk Chocolates in.

Project Details:

Stamps: Frightfully Cute (retired), Bewitching
Ink: Gorgeous Grape, Parakeet Party, Pumpkin Pie, Memento Black
Cardstock: Gorgeous Grape, Parakeet Party, Pumpkin Pie, Basic White, Black & White Design DSP
Accessories: Witch Builder Hat Punch, Frightful Tags Dies (retired), Black & White Gingham Ribbon, Blending Brushes, Iridescent Black Dots (retired), White Twine, Hand Held Hole Punch (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I made 6 of these, 2 in each color.
I will make these again for Christmas since they make a cute little stocking stuffer!
And who doesn't like the Dove Milk Chocolates?!
