Card #2 Beachy HB

 Hello & Happy Sunday!

Yesterday was such a fun day stamping with the girls. Today I am sharing card #2 that we made. I tried to keep these cards quick & simple and on this card I had most of the work prepped ahead of time. All they had to do was stamp and adhere the card together.

I have a whole pack of the By The Bay Specialty DSP from the 2023 January-April Mini Catalog and Deb loves anything beachy so I had to use this paper on a card! I paired it with the retired Seashells 3D EF. I love the added texture that this EF adds to my card. The sentiment comes from the Go To Greetings stamp set.

Card Details:

Stamps: Go To Greetings (Million Dollar Achiever Set)
Ink: Night of Navy
Cardstock: Night of Navy, Crumb Cake, Balmy Blue, Mint Macaron (retired), By The Bay Specialty DSP (retired)
Accessories: Stitched Rectangle Framelits (retired), Seashells 3D EF (retired), Waves Rhinestones (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

That is all for now!
Stop back tomorrow to see card #3 from our beach/ocean themed card making day!

True Beauty HB Cards

 Hello & Happy Wednesday!

I hope where ever you are your staying cool!
It's a scorcher out there today! Days like this I wish I still had a swimming pool.
It's been hard to get posts up with my hubby on vacation.
We did not have any plans to go anywhere but he's been going out fishing almost everyday. Since he's been off he's had a bit of a cold. I made him do a Covid test today just to make sure we weren't dealing with that. Happy to report it is just a cold!
I have been working on a card order for Audrey and got it finished up this morning. Usually over the summer months she doesn't request too much because she says it's her slow season for card sending. LOL She so funny. So I have a set of birthday cards to share that she requested using a pretty floral bundle called True Beauty.

Card Details:

Stamps: True Beauty (retired), Go To Greetings (Million Dollar Achiever Set)
Ink: Merry Merlot (retired), Polished Pink (retired), Mossy Meadow
Cardstock: Thick Whisper White (retired), Basic White, Polished Pink (retired), Awash In Beauty DSP (retired)
Accessories: Organic Beauty Dies (retired), Stitched Rectangle Framelits (retired), Oval Layering Framelits (retired), Pastel Adhesive Backed Sequins (Gold), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I made a pack of cards for Audrey a few weeks ago and she loved them and wanted more. This time I used a different pattern of DSP.
I hope to get them delivered to her tomorrow if it doesn't storm.
Fingers crossed!

More Customer Thank You's

 Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Yesterday we had some beautiful sunny weather but that breeze kept it on the cool side. Nonetheless it still felt like spring was in the air! Today it's to be a bit better!
Last Saturday I made my way to my stamp table for a short time and I wanted to get a jump start on some customer Thank You cards. I pulled out a favorite stamp set and got busy!
Two Tone Flora is such a pretty set and I am hoping it will carry over into our new Annual Catalog in May.

Everything on these cards is current except for the Tasteful Textile 3D EF on the Petal Pink panel. It is my absolute favorite embossing folder ever! I love that it adds texture without being the focal point of the card. It retired a year ago but let me say....I still use it all the time!
The florals & greens on this card are so pretty....I just do not think you could go wrong with it! I pulled the colors for my flowers & greens from the piece of Fancy Flora DSP.

Card Details:

Stamps: Two Tone Flora, Go To Greetings
Ink: Calypso Coral, Petal Pink, Soft Seafoam
Cardstock: Calypso Coral, Petal Pink, Basic White, Fancy Flora DSP
Accessories: Tasteful Textile 3D EF (retired), Two Tone Flora Dies, Stylish Shapes Dies, White Glittered Ribbon, Milky Dots (Petal Pink), Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

These cards remind me of spring and the pretty colors!
I'm looking forward to seeing all those spring flowers that will soon be bloomed!

Thinking of You Set

 Good Morning & Happy Thursday!

Yesterday turned out to be a busy day and I ended up going to bed early last night and sleeping in this morning. It's kind of a dreary morning here as we had some rain go through during the night. The sun is to shine later so I'm hoping that gets me motivated! I was at the dentist for quite awhile yesterday, longer than I anticipated. I had a tooth refilled and got fitted for a new crown. I love that the fillings are not silver anymore! I had some discomfort as soon as the numbing meds wore off and took some Advil to help with that. Today my gums are sore and still a bit achy but i'm hoping that will get better as the day goes on. I return in 3 weeks for my permanent crown then start the process of getting fitted for another crown in April. Yes, that is why I joke with Shawn about having a million dollar smile! It seems all the crowns I have from many years ago have started to get food and stuff under them because they were not sealed properly. Technology has come along way since the early 90's and 2000's.
Once we were finished at the dentist we ran to Giant, Sam's Club, Goodwill and Walmart. Shawn took the day off from work because he had an appointment for his next tattoo in the afternoon but it was canceled as his tattoo guy was sick. I really wasn't expecting to go out shopping but took advantage of it while he was off and we had nothing else planned. We ended our day watching the new season of The Mandalorian on Disney+. What a cliff hanger! LOL

So, today I do have a set of Thinking of You cards to share that I made weeks ago. I figured eventually Audrey would ask for them but so far she hasn't. I used some pretty retired Rustic Harvest DSP and the Go To Greetings stamp set for these...

I am usually not one for black paper but this sheet is very striking with it's pops of Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry and Cherry Cobbler flowers! I thought they would make a beautiful set of Thinking of You cards and a great was to use up the rest of this DSP! I used 2 different prints from this pack and only added a simple greeting on the front. And if you know me, I always have to add some bling! These have just clear Rhinestones on.

Card Details:

Stamps: Go To Greetings
Ink: Basic Black Archival (retired)
Cardstock: Basic Black, Basic White, Rustic Harvest DSP (retired)
Accessories: Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Rhinestones, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Quick & easy!

Card Set W/ Coordinating Box

 Good Morning & Happy Sunday!

I don't think we've had any sunshine since Tuesday and today there definitely won't be any since they are saying a mix bag of precipitation. I think the seasonal blues are setting in!
This girl does so much better with sunny days!

I've got a cute project to share with you today!
I worked for hours last Saturday to put this together and I love the outcome.
Marisa at Kitchen Table Stamper made this box for a few projects she did back before Christmas. I saved it for when I had the time.
This is the card box and a picture of the card box open...

She used The Yeti stamp set on one set and Forever Friendship on the other. Both stamp sets are from the Holiday Mini Catalog that just retired. I did not have either stamp set so I substituted the Cottage Wreath set for mine.

The inside has 2 pockets, one for the postage stamps and the other holds 6 cards & envelopes which on hers she put 8.
Here are the cards I made for inside...

Project Details:

Stamps: Knit Together, Cottage Wreath, Go To Greetings, Celebrating You
Ink: Sweet Sorbet, Mint Macaron, Crumb Cake
Cardstock: Crumb Cake, Basic White, Calypso Coral, So Saffron, Cottage Gingham DSP  (retired- Mint Macaron, So Saffron & Calypso Coral)
Accessories: Stylish Shapes Dies, Square Layering Framelits (retired), Country Wreath Dies, Stitched Rectangle Framelits, 1 1/2 Circle Punch, Genial Gems (retired), Mint Macaron Ribbon (retired), Mini Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I made this for myself but more than likely I will gift this away!
I'd really like to make another one but we'll see!
Hope you enjoyed seeing my recent project.
It was alot of fun!

Forever Fern HB Set

Hello & Happy Sunday!

Hope your having a nice weekend and staying warm!
We had a nice day yesterday! Went to the stamp store for some supplies, dropped off Audrey's card order on her front porch, visited with our friends, Deb & Ed (since we were sick at Christmas and weren't able to get together to exchange gifts) then we stopped at the restaurant for a quick lunch. After that we were both pooped and thought about grabbing a nap but instead I went to my stamp room and had some me time! I was there for about 4 1/2 hours just playing and having fun! I will share that project with you later this week!

Today I have that 2nd pack of birthday cards to share that I made using the Forever Greenery Suite. This set is on my card rack for now...

Card Details:

Stamps: Forever Fern, Go To Greetings
Ink: Garden Green
Cardstock: Garden Green, Basic White, Forever Greenery DSP
Accessories: Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Noble Peacock Rhinestones (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I think this set would work well for a man or a woman and i'm sure down the road Audrey will request another pack like that. I'm ready for it!

Thank You Card

 Hello & Happy Monday, Everyone!

Hope you had a nice weekend!
It was another very hot & humid weekend which is carrying over into the start of the new week. A little bit of relief is to come by the end of the week but by the looks of it, it's going to be short lived. Fall will get here eventually!

Today I have a card to share that I made for our dentist.
Her & her staff are always so friendly & caring each time we go in and they know how to put your mind at ease, especially if your uneasy about going to the dentist!

Card Details:

Stamps: Go To Greetings, Celebrating Sunflowers
Ink: Memento Black, Cinnamon Cider (retired), Stampin Blends-Daffodil Delight, Cinnamon Cider (retired), Just Jade (retired)
Cardstock: Just Jade, Basic White, Flowers For Every Season DSP (retired)
Accessories: Stylish Shapes Dies, Circle Layering Framelits, Sunflowers Dies, Bumble Bee Gingham Ribbon (retired), Brushed Brass Butterflies, Glue Dot, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I love this sunflower DSP and sadly it's been long retired.
I am working to use up scraps.
