To A Wild Rose

 Hello & Happy Saturday!

Today I have a card to share that I made for my card lady last week.
She needed a birthday card for a friend so I pulled out my To A Wild Rose stamp set w coordinating Wild Rose Dies and got to work.

It was fun to play with this stamp set again as it's been awhile!

I started with a Highland Heather cardbase and a layer of Purple Posy cardstock.
Then a layer of Whisper White that I stamped my saying on with Highland Heather ink and then ran thru the Big Shot with the Subtle Embossing Folder.
Next I stamped my flowers on a piece of Purple Posy cardstock using Highland Heather ink. I did the same with the leaves with Old Olive ink on Pear Pizzazz cardstock them diecut everything out.
I adhered everything on the card with Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue except for the top flower that I popped up with a dimensional.
Lastly, I added a few rhinestones that brought a bit of sparkle to my card.

Card Details:

Stamps: To A Wild Rose, Delightful Day (retired)
Ink: Highland Heather, Old Olive
Cardstock: Highland Heather, Purple Posy, Pear Pizzazz, Whisper White
Accessories: Wild Rose Dies, Subtle EF, Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

My card lady loved it! YAY!

With Sympathy

 Hello & Happy Friday!

We finally made it to the weekend! Yay!
I had a few fun days with Kelsey & Shady here visiting but we did no stamping.
She went home yesterday afternoon so now it's back to a quiet house.

Today I have a set of Sympathy cards to share that I made a head of time for when my card lady needs them. Take a look...

My friend turned me on to this pretty paper from Hobby Lobby back a few months ago and I knew I would not have time to play with it until after the holidays were over.
Last week I sat down and played with this paper and decided to make a pack of Sympathy cards with it. You will be seeing more of this paper in the future being that I picked up a few 12 x 12 sheets of it!
I paired the paper with Mint Macaron & Pretty Peacock ink, paper & embellishments.

Card Details:

Stamps: More Great Greetings (retired)
Ink: Pretty Peacock
Cardstock: Mint Macaron, Pretty Peacock, Whisper White, The Paper Studio Paper, Mint Macaron Gingham DSP (retired)
Accessories: Stitched Labels Framelits (retired), Circle Layering Framelits, Dragonflies Punch, Mint Macaron Taffeta Ribbon (retired), Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This paper reminds me of the Forever Greenry DSP with all the different leaves.
I guess that is why I love this paper, too!

Hope you like them as much as I do!

With Love...

 Hello & Happy Thursday!

Today I have a sweet Valentine's Day card to share using some retired papers called Pop of Pink Specialty DSP from a few years ago. I did not purchase any of the Valentine's paper this year so I am making it my mission to use what I have!

I started with this pack of paper and the scraps that were in it.
I cut them down to 3/4 x 3 3/4 then layered them onto a piece of Whisper White cardstock.
I took some Black Taffeta Ribbon that was in my scrap bag and wrapped around it and then added a bow.
The heart & sentiment is from a retired stamp set called You're So Sweet and it coordinates with the retired Mini Treat Bag Framelits, My heart is heat embossed with Winter White EP. The sentiment I stamped with Melon Mambo ink and just cut with my Paper Snips and added it to the heart.

The Pop of Petals DSP was a favorite of mine because I love the black, white & Melon Mambo prints!
Using up scraps of paper just makes for a very eye catching card in my opinion!
We all have scraps so it's high time we use them!

Card Details:

Stamps: You're So Sweet (retired)
Ink: Melon Mambo, Versamark
Cardstock: Melon Mambo, Whisper White, Pop of Petals Specialty DSP (retired)
Accessories: Mini Treat Bag Framelits, Heat Gun, Winter White EP, Black Taffeta Ribbon (retired), Glue Dots, Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Art Gallery Thank You

 Hello & Happy Wednesday!

We had quite the yukky weather day yesterday!
Lots of rain, sleet & some snow mixed  made for a sloppy mess!
Kelsey & Shady came over to stay a few days since she has a few days off.
I may try to get her to do some stamping with me!

Today I have a fun Thank You card to share!
This one has a neat fun fold....I call it my book fold.

This card uses the Art Gallery stamp set & the Floral Gallery Dies.
The card measure 4 1/4 x 11. Scored at 1 1/4 and again at 5 1/2.
The 1 1/4 section you will glue shut on the inside.
Then cut your DSP to fit the sections on the front.
The paper on this card is also from the same suite of products called Fine Art Floral DSP.
It's beautiful!

Card Details:

Stamps: Art Gallery
Ink: Merry Merlot, Bumble Bee
Cardstock: Bumble Bee, Merry Merlot, Whisper White, Fine Art Floral DSP
Accessories: Floral Gallery Dies, Circle Layering Framelits, Bumble Bee Ribbon, Glue Dot, Rhinestones, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I am looking forward to playing with this set a bit more in time...

Sweet Strawberry Bundle

 Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Yesterday I had a chance to play at my stamp table a bit.
I broke out the new Sweet Strawberry stamp set & Strawberry Builder Punch and made a pack of cards for on my card rack. I'm sure once my card lady sees these they will be gone!

I started these with a Real Red cardbase then a layer of Whisper White that I ran thru the Big Shot with the Brick & Mortar EF. Then I took 3 different prints from the Berry Delightful DSP and cut them into strips of 1 x 4.
Again I layered them on with no rhyme or rhythm. I really am liking this toggled look!

The Berry Delightful DSP is part of the SaleABration offering this year!
It comes with a stamp set called Berry Blessings and it all coordinates with the Sweet Strawberry Bundle. YAY!

My sentiment panel was stamped with a partial saying from the Sweet Strawberry stamp set. The stamp says "Happy Birthday you sweet thing". I taped off the "you sweet thing".
Then I stamped my strawberry and punched it out and added it to my sentiment panel with some rhinestones and a bow made with White Baker's Twine.

Card Details:

Stamps: Sweet Strawberry
Ink: Poppy Parade, Granny Apple Green
Cardstock: Poppy Parade, Whisper White, Granny Apple Green, Berry Delightful DSP (SAB 21)
Accessories: Brick & Mortar EF, Circle Layering Framelits, Strawberry Builder Punch, Whisper White Baker's Twine, Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I am completely in love with this set of cards!
Such fantastic patterns in the paper and that strawberry stamp set is wonderful!

Well Suited HB

 Hello & Happy Monday!

Can you believe we are at the last Monday of January 2021, already?!

Hope you all had a nice weekend!
It was a very cold but sunny one here in south central PA.
We pretty much hibernated other than a quick trip to the Post Office Saturday morning.
Snow & ice is in the forecast for this evening. I hope it holds off until Shawn gets in from work.

I've recently had a small card order to work on.
My card lady needed a masculine birthday card but gave me no other details about it.
I've recently ordered the Well Suited DSP from Stampin Up and cut into a piece of it to create this card. Since I wasn't sure what to make I just kept this one very simple.

I was going to add a sailboat to it from the Sailing Home Bundle but in the end I just left it because I just wasn't sure who the card was for. I usually make a card around someone's likes, hobbies or season.
My card lady said it was perfect and was quite pleased with this.

The colors & prints in this pack of DSP is very masculine and works well on it's own.
I did not get the matching Handsomely Suited stamp set & dies just yet.
My sentiment is from a retired but amazing masculine set called Guy Greetings.
It really is one of my "go to" sets for masculine cards!

Card Details:

Stamps: Guy Greetings (retired)
Ink: Night of Navy
Cardstock: Night of Navy, Whisper White, Well Suited DSP
Accessories: Oval Layering Framelits, Night of Navy Enamel Star (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

My thoughts today...

This was how I dressed to go out Saturday morning.
Ryan says to me....you act like it's cold out, Mom!
Yes it is!!!
I don't handle the cold well anymore but then again I don't handle the heat & humidity well either.
What's one to do?!

Thanks for stopping by & have yourself a wonderful day!
Stay warm, too!

Get Well Soon

 Hello & Happy Wednesday!

Hope your week is going well!
It feels like winter has arrived here in PA with snow squalls & very windy conditions today!
Burrr! I might just make it a PJ Day and do some stamping this afternoon since I have a small card order to work on.

I have a set of Get Well cards to share that my card lady asked for.
She needs these before the weekend so I made sure to get them made yesterday.

I started out with using a new stamp set, Dragonfly Garden and it's matching Dragonfly Punch.
I chose this bundle because I do not own anything with dragonflies.
20 years of stamping and I have no dragonflies?! LOL

I also used the paper that coordinates with it called Dandy Garden DSP.

Card Details:

Stamps: Dragonfly Garden, Under My Umbrella (saying)
Ink: Blackberry Bliss, Mossy Meadow
Cardstock: Mossy Meadow, Whisper White, Dandy Garden DSP
Accessories: Tasteful Textile 3D EF, Ornate Frames Dies, Dragonflies Punch, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I cut up my DSP strips at 1 x 4 3/4 and toggled them on the embossed Whisper White panel.
No rhyme or reason just did that for a bit of interest.
I stamped the sentiment in Blackberry Bliss and diecut it out with the Ornate Frames Dies.
The dragonfly I stamped in Mossy Meadow and punched out with the coordinating punch and added one Dimensional to it and placed them on my cards.
As always I wanted to add ribbon or some rhinestones but I decided to let them be.
I loved them just the way they turned out.

Happy Thoughts

 Hello & Happy Monday!

Hope you all had a nice weekend!

I have a set of pretty cards to share with you today!
I made these for on my card rack using some new things.

That pretty paper is from this year's 2021 SaleABration catalog called Flower & Field DSP.
It has some gorgeous prints & colors in it.
My sentiment is from the January-June Mini Catalog and is a Million Dollar Achiever stamp set by Jackie Boulhuis. I love this one!

I kept these simple and flat for easy mailing.
I'm sure my card lady will grab these as soon as she sees them so I don't expect them to stay on my card rack very long!

Card Details:

Stamps: Happy Thoughts
Ink: Bermuda Bay
Cardstock: Bermuda Bay, Whisper White, Flower & Field DSP
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits, Circle Layering Framelits, Bermuda Bay Taffeta Ribbon (retired), Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Thinking of You on Valentine's Day

 Hello & Happy Friday!

Today I have another pack of cards to share that my card lady requested.
She sends out lots & lots of cards each month and for holidays and asked for a pack of Thinking of You with hearts. I pulled out a now retired set called Lots to Celebrate which is a Million Dollar Achiever stamp set created by Susie Wood. I have not used it much but it's a great set that could be used for multiple occasions & holidays! This is what I created with it...

Card Details:

Stamps: Lots to Celebrate
Ink: Real Red, Blushing Bride
Cardstock: Blushing Bride, Whisper White, Real Red, Blushing Bride DSP (retired)
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits, Oval Layering Framelits, Jar Punch, Real Red Taffeta Ribbon (retired), Red Rhinestones, Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

My card lady really liked these and asked for more for St Patrick's Day in March!
Guess I better soon get busy on them because March will be here before we know it!

Happy Valentine's Day

 Hello & Happy Thursday!

Today I am sharing a set of Valentine's Day cards that I made for my card lady.
I ended up using retired products only because my order for the new Stampin Up! stuff did not arrive in time. I wasn't expecting her to order her Valentine's so soon.

These cards were basically thrown together with bits & pieces of diecuts that I had left over from other projects and I thought they turned out pretty nice!

Card Details:

Stamps: Meant to Be, Forever Lovely (retired)
Ink: Lovely Lipstick (retired)
Cardstock: Lovely Lipstick (retired), Whisper White, All My Heart DSP (retired)
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits, Oval Layering Framelits, Be Mine Stitched Framelits, Classic Label Punch, Lovely Lipstick Ribbon, Rhinestones, Glue Dots, Mini Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue
