Flower Filled Card Set

Hello & Happy Thursday!

Hope everyone is well.
I'm back today to share another card set created for my customer.
I took the last week off to give my hands a rest and then somewhere in the midst I lost my mojo!
Our weather has been nice since Mother's Day and we've made our way out to the trails for walks until the heatwave hit yesterday. Ughh, so not ready for 90 degree heat & humidity! My ac is back on but they say this heatwave will be short lived. I sure hope so!

Yesterday I made my way back downstairs to my stamp room.
It felt good to get something made since it's been over a week since I last stamped.
I pulled out an oldie but a goodie set called Flower Filled.

Along with using a retired stamp set, I also used very old DSP from way back in the day!
I think it may have been one of the first packs of paper that Stampin Up sold called Candy Dots DSP.
This paper is before they made DSP double sided.

Do you remember these boots?
These stamps are mounted on wood which now is something that I normally don't use much of because most of our stamps come in clear or the photopolymer. Years ago most of Stampin Up stamps came where we had to cut the stamps from a sheet of rubber and then mount them on to the wood blocks. Over the last couple of years I have come to love the photopolymer stamps because you can see exactly where your stamping through the clear rubber. I use to have a love/hate relationship with photopolymer but not anymore!

Which type of stamps do you like to use?

Flower Filled Card Set:

Stamps: Flower Filled, Wetlands (sentiment)
Ink: Basic Black Archival, Pretty In Pink, Barely Banana, Certainly Celery
Cardstock: Pretty In Pink, Barely Banana, Whisper White, Candy Dots DSP (retired)
Accessories: Stamp A Ma Jig, Lg Oval & Scallop Oval Punches, Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This was a fun set to create and I find it enjoyable to pull out some of those old sets and breath new life into it again!

My thoughts today....

My hubby will be home the next few days as he is using up some vacation time.
I hope to be posting each day maybe alittle later than usual.

Thanks for stopping by & have a wonderful day!
