 Good Morning & Happy Fri-YAY!

It's to be a total washout here today with some good rain to help wash away the salt and what's left of the snow. This dreary weather is about how I feel today and will make the best of it with napping in between loads of laundry. 

I've got a birthday gift card holder to share with you today that I thought would make a great addition to my card rack. I never have birthday gift cards, just Christmas ones. I pulled out a bunch of retired stuff and got to work...

Best Dressed- Born to Shop

 Good Morning & Happy Wednesday!

It sure is burrrrrrrrrr! My phone says it is 1 degree at 4 am! A bit cold for my liking, that's for sure. Shawn just showed me a photo from Fairbanks, Alaska where it is -62. Yikes, not sure I could even imagine. 

Today I have a quick fun fold card to show you that I whipped up the other day for the card rack. It uses a retired paper called Best Dressed DSP. This will go on my card rack under the teenager section...

Hey Friend

Good Morning & Happy Sunday!

Hope you are enjoying the weekend!

Yesterday our weather was beautiful so we took the girls out for a walk at the Rail Trail!

It sure pooped them out..and me too!

Today we are planning to pack up the bikes and get a ride in while our weather is nice!

By days end though the clouds are to move back in and bring rain for Monday.

So, yes, taking advantage of it while we can!

Last evening I also delivered a card order.

It's been ready for about 2 weeks so I was happy to get that off my shoulders and into her hands!

My customer got us a dozen of faschnaut donuts last month that her Catholic church makes every year and I wanted to make her a card to say Thank You! Ryan just loves those donuts, as we all do!

I saw this card sketch on Pinterest and this is the card I made for her...

I pulled the fun, bright colors from the retired Picture Perfect Party DSP from last year's Occasions Mini Catalog. This sheet has donuts on it which was just what I was looking for.

The "hey friend" stamp is from the Itty Bitty Greetings set and the dots stamped on the cardbase is from the Picture Perfect Birthday stamp set which is still available.

Lastly. my ribbon is the Lemon Lime Twist Umbre Ribbon which at one time was tied in a knot around a card and I trimmed off the long tails and used a Glue Dot to adhere it to my card.

Picture Perfect Birthday

I'm still recovering from yesterday's Stamp Day w Friends!

It was really nice having all 6 girls at the table and you could just see their faces light up when we started stamping! For some of the girls it's been a long time since they did any stamping so this was a much welcomed craft day!

My friend Nan is also a SU Demo and I had asked her ahead of time if she would create 2 cards for everyone to make and she was happy to do that! I created 2 card kits too.

The card I am sharing is card #1 that I created.

I wanted something that would be colorful so I went thru my DSP's and found this retired pack of Picture Perfect Party DSP. It's always good to use up paper!!!

I have become such a fan of the Lemon Lime Twist color and will be so sad that it's retiring soon.

I did stock up on it so I will continue to use it!

This card definitely showcases several prints from that pack of paper!

We stamped the card base with the one speckled stamp in the Picture Perfect Birthday stamp set in Lemon Lime Twist and I tied each lady a bow from the Lemon Lime Twist Umbre Ribbon.

Picture Perfect Birthday

 Hump day is here again!

I have been working on some projects for a Stamp Day w Friends coming up on February 2nd.

This time I have invited all 6 stamp girls to come make Valentines Day stuffz.

I got 3 projects cranked out so far. 

I hope to do 1 more yet!

Today I have the last pack of birthday cards to share that were made for my customer.

I got them delivered last Friday so hopefully that will hold her for awhile.

I really like them together plus it helps that SU gives us DSP with amazing prints!!

Dashing Deer HB

The week is moving along quickly!

Today is the start of SaleABration and the Occasions Mini Catalog! WooHoo!

I watched a tutorial by Patty Bennett on how to create this card.

Each of the girls made cards that are completely different from my sample.

I wish I would have taken pictures of the girls cards!

Picture Perfect Birthday

Yesterday was such a fun day!

After a 3 and a half month hiatus, I finally got together with a few stamp friends and we shared some laughs and made some cards! It was great to see them!

My card that I am sharing today is one we made using the Picture Perfect Birthday set from the Occasions Mini Catalog. 

This card was one of the easiest to design because Stampin Up gives us the best products to create with. This paper pad is 6 X 6 and the prints on it are so life like and does all the work for you! All you need is to add your sentiment!

Picture Perfect Cards

Hello & Happy Wednesday!

Our weather today is about to get crazy!

When I headed off to bed last evening it was raining with some sleet in the mix.

This morning I got up and saw it snowing in big flakes. Not much on the ground so far, maybe a coating. The streets are just wet too. I am still hoping this Nor'easter will be a bust! Can you image someone running around screaming....please no snow!! Well, that would be me! I love snow around the holidays but after that I can do without it. I cannot shovel it anymore due to my back issues so I guess that's why I feel the way I do when it comes to the white stuff. 

I am still hoping for a warm spring day! LOL

Anyways, today I am sharing a bright card set. You might need to put on your sunglasses to view these. I used Lemon Lime Twist!

I'm still not too sure on the Lemon Lime Twist color but I am making an effort to use it. 

It also helps when we have DSP that has the color in it and I love the prints & patterns in this pack of Bubbles & Fizz DSP!
