Fun With Squares

 Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Today I am having fun playing with squares! 

I have been seeing lots of cards lately that uses different sizes of square and decided to play with some scraps and use up my 1x1 inch squares! I pulled out some retired It's My Party DSP from 2016. It was a huge 12x12 paper stack that I shared half with my friend and I'm still working on using my half.

Card Details:

Ink: Memento Black

Cardstock: Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry, Basic Black, Basic White, It's My Party DSP (retired 2016)

Accessories: Balloon Bouquet Punch (retired), Black Twine, It's My Party Enamel Dots (retired 2016), Dimensionals, Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I really love how these turned out with those fun colors & papers!

Who knew you could have so much fun and create different looks with squares!

This is the template that I used for building my cards and I can say that I will be doing this again!

Penguin Place HB

Hello & Happy Monday!

Hope you had a great weekend! They seem to go by so quickly, don't they? Yesterday I played at my stamp table most of the afternoon. Balloon Adventures

Good Morning & Happy Thursday!

Today is August 1st!

Summer is flying by! (just not quick enough for me!)

I got a call from my customer asking for some cards!

She asked for a pack of cards with balloons on and more on the masculine side.

I went thru some old stuff and pulled out the Balloon Adventures set along with Party Animal DSP.

These colors were fun to play with!

Pacific Point, Crushed Curry & Emerald Envy look amazing together and I hope they will pass for masculine cards!

Yummy In My Tummy

Hello & Happy Friday!

The weekend is upon us!

It's going to be a rainy one here in PA and hopefully it will help wash away the pollen.

Today my hubby has the day off so we are going to run some errands.

I need to pick up some snacks for a Stamp Day w Friends tomorrow morning.

I have 2 friends coming over to catch up and make a few cards!

Anyways, I have a cute card to share that I made for a card order.

It's for a little girl that is turning 3 soon.

This was one tough card to create since I am very limited on kids stamps!

This cute little guy comes from a retired set called Yummy In My Tummy.

I stamped him on a piece of paper from the How Sweet It Is DSP then fussy cut him out.

I added a sentiment from a retired SaleABration set called Party Pants.

I punched out a balloon with the Balloon Bouquet Punch using the same DSP and since it's for a girl, I added a little bow using some Pineapple Punch Grosgrain Ribbon.

I've really got to work on getting some stamps for kids for in the future!

I am pleased that this one turned out nicely and hope it's not too scary for a little one.

Happy Birthday Z Fold

I finished up all my work yesterday so guess what?

I can go stamp today! WooHoo!

Not much else to do with it being so cold outside.

Kelsey's Birthday Cards

Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Last week was Kelsey's 23rd birthday!

Ryan asked me for a card to give her so this is what I whipped up.

I got this huge paper stack called It's My Party. I do like all the different designs in it! I used the Party Wishes stamp set and a few rhinestones to make it sparkle.

She loved her card!

I love that the balloons match the print on the designer paper!

Happy Birthday Box & Card

Hello & Happy Saturday!

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend.

It's dreary & rainy here as it's been most of this past week with more rain coming half of this coming week. I won't complain since we really need it. I am happy to report though that my lilac bush is in bloom and smelling so good! It's only taken 4 years for it to get more than one bloom! 

So, I had a chance to sneak off to my craft room Friday and play a bit. I made this little Happy Birthday card & box as a treat for a dear friend. Her birthday was last Monday. Yes, i'm a bit late.

My card is a 3 X 3 so it will fit inside the box.

The box is made from these Gift Card Enclosures that happen to be retired. I've had these for a year or so and totally forgot I had them till I cleaned a drawer out and found them. I took one and with my Simply Score Board I scored on 3 of the half moon panels at 1/2 in  from the original scored line and that creates the box. I adhered it and then added my belly band and decorated it. I think there pretty neat all decorated.

In my box I added a pack of this birthday cake sugar free gum that I found at the store. I will add something else before I give it to the birthday girl next weekend. I always try to make alittle something for her. Happy Belated Birthday, Emily!!

Before I close I want to give an update on my hubby and his progress.

He had a doctor appointment this past Tuesday. All is healing nicely and he is bothered with the heal which is normal for this type of procedure.  He is to continue walking as much as he can tolerate it and when resting he is to keep his foot elevated and iced but swelling hasn't been too much of an issue. This coming week the stitches will come out and it could be a few more weeks before he can return to work but so far so good!
