Butterfly Thinking of You

 Hello & Happy Sunday, Friends!

I hope you had a nice weekend!
It got a bit toasty yesterday! We did a quick trip to Sam's Club first thing in the morning then took a long walk down to the square in Red Lion and did some window shopping along the way. We went into the consignment shop which was very nice! I got myself a summer dress since the other 2 I have are way too big now. I also found some brand new shirts for $2 a piece. Can't beat that in this day & age where everything is priced thru the roof!

Anyways, today I have a card to share that is a blast from the past. It uses all things retired which is great because it means I am using up my old stash.

Card Details:

Stamps: Dreams du Jour (retired 2008), Phrases & Frames (Million Dollar Achiever Set)
Ink: Riding Hood Red (retired In Color), Kiwi Kiss (retired In Color)
Cardstock: Riding Hood Red (retired In Color), Kiwi Kiss (retired In Color), Basic White, Bella Rose DSP (retired 2008)
Accessories: Note Tag Punch (retired), Riding Hood Red Taffeta Ribbon (retired), Rhinestones, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Such a pretty set to pull out & play with again.
I got rid of so many of my wood mounted floral sets that I just have not used in years and felt it was time to pass them on. This one was always a favorite so it stayed! And that DSP is just so pretty!

This card was put in my bin for when the card rack needs refreshed.

Floral Anniversary Set

 Good Morning & Happy Monday!

Phew, I think I need a day to relax instead of doing household chores today! LOL
Between Saturday's outside work & planting flowers and yesterday's bike ride...I am hurting but I am gonna push thru and get my house cleaned today! Hopefully the rest of the week I can relax!

Today I am sharing a set of Anniversary cards that was on Audrey's last order. I think she said she needed 17 Anniversary cards for the month of May & June and since I already had some made I pulled from my stash for the rest. Anyways, this set uses a sheet of patterned paper I found in my stash from Hobby Lobby. I've had it a good long while and I'm not sure if it's still available or not. I paired it with some retired Stampin Up colors like Pistachio Pudding & Primrose Petals. Do they sound familiar?

Card Details:

Stamps: Phrases & Frames (Million Dollar Achiever Set)
Ink: Pistachio Pudding (retired In Color)
Cardstock: Primrose Petals (retired In Color), Lemon Lolly, Pistachio Pudding (retired In Color), Patterned Paper from The Paper Studio (Hobby Lobby)
Accessories: Nested Essentials Dies, Primrose Petals Stitched Ribbon (retired), Antique Pearls, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I know these are nothing too fancy because that is the way Audrey likes her cards but I found this set so rewarding to make because I was able to use some older products that haven't seen daylight in ages! I tried my best to match the cardstock to the colors in the patterned paper. These will also mail without any extra postage because nothing is popped up.

Ok, I better get moving....it's going to be a long day! And a very hot one....90's are in the forecast today & tomorrow! Blah!

Phrases & Frames

 Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Today I have a sympathy card to share and this time I am using something that is NOT retired. LOL The set I used is called Phrases & Frames from the new May-August Catalog. It is a Million Dollar Achiever Set that Susan Campfield created since earning her Million Dollar in sales! It's a lovely set with great sentiments & inside sentiments as well!

Card Details:

Stamps: Phrases & Frames
Ink: Calypso Coral
Cardstock: Crisp Cantaloupe (RETURNING New In Color), Calypso Coral, Basic White, Garden Walk DSP (retired 2023)
Accessories: Stylish Shapes Dies, Crisp Cantaloupe In Color Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

The strips of DSP were scraps that were in my package that I pulled out and I just used what was already cut. I found that the Crisp Cantaloupe matched this DSP nicely so I took the opportunity to use it! Thankfully I had a whole package of the Crisp Cantaloupe cardstock from when it was an In Color years ago. I have a pack of every In Color cardstock Stampin Up has ever had so I am always thrilled when they bring back an old color! YAY!
