2020 Masculine Calendar Pt 2

Hello & Happy Wednesday!

Today I have the last 6 months of Shawn's calendars to share with you!
I hope you enjoy them!

For July I should have done something different since it is a special month.
We will celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary this year!

For September I used a retired set called Nailed It.
It has coordinating Framelits but I forget the name.
Shawn is a Maintenance Manager so I thought the tools would look great!
And the sentiment was spot on!

This was a really fun calendar to make!
I'm not sure I could improve it for next year!
We'll just have to wait and see!

My thoughts today...

I'm truly blessed with an awesome hubby!

That's all for now!
Thanks for stopping by & have a wonderful day!

2015 Calendars

Hello & Happy Saturday!

Just a quick post today as we are heading out to drop Gigi & Bailee off at doggy spa day! With all this cold snowy weather in the last few weeks, they are stinky and in need of a spa day! After that I am headed to Michael's, Sam's and the grocery store. I hate the thought of going outside in this very cold & windy weather! Oh the joys of winter!

Anyways, before I head out I wanted to share the next few months of calendars then tomorrow I will share the rest.

Here we go!

My Mom just loves these! She's always talking about what she likes about each month! LOL
I display my calendars in a 4 X 6 plastic acrylic picture frame like you use for the post it note holders.

Well, that's all I have for you today!
Tomorrow will be the rest, I promise!

Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!
Happy Stamping!

Brother's Birthday...

Hello & Happy Wednesday!

Just wanted to share a card a made for my older brother's birthday that was on Monday!
I don't usually see him very often and the last I did see him was Christmas Eve.
For years he was plagued with back & neck problems and from all the pain meds, surgeries and therapies, his attitude about things has really changed him in a mean way. At Christmastime, he said he was receiving acupuncture and he has been feeling so much better! Much more easy going and pleasant! Truely a good sign! Hope he continues to feel this good!

Happy Birthday, Greg!

Birthday Card:

Stamps: Class Act Stamps, Perfect Punches
Ink: Early Espresso
Cardstock: Early Espresso, Crumb Cake/Kraft, Very Vanilla, Nautical Expeditions DSP
Accessories: Lg Oval Punch, Early Espresso Taffeta Ribbon, Gold Brads, Hot Glue, 2 Sided Tape

Well, I am off to work on my Sketch Challenge card for today so i'll be back later with that!
It's also Dominic day so i'm gonna try to squeeze that in before he arrives!

Thanks for stopping by!

Seize the Birthday!

Hello & Happy TGIF!!!

Your probably wondering about my blog title today. It's the name of a new challenge that our good friend, Lesley, has started to help us get a variety of birthday cards made! I know I am in major need of them since I have been working on Christmas for months. I also am on the Merry Monday design team so I found out that making 1 Christmas card a week is so wonderful when it comes to the holiday season and having cards ready to send out. There was no stressing this year! This birthday challenge will start January 10, 2013 and here is the link to the blog: Seize the Birthday!

Here is my card I made to kick things off....

I'm also trying to refresh my card rack since i've had a few card orders that depleted my supply.
I decided to go with a masculine birthday card since I will soon need it for my brother.

Masculine Birthday Card:

Stamps: Front: Sail Boat from Class Act, Sentiment is Impression Obsession
Inside: Sentiment from Schooner (SU retired), Perfectly Penned
Ink: Cherry Cobbler
Cardstock: Cherry Cobbler, SU Whisper White, Nautical Expeditions DSP
Accessories: Oval & Scallop Oval Nestibilities, Going Gray Grosgrain, Silver Pearls, Dimensionals, 2 Sided Tape

Before I close this out I wanted to say "Thank You" to all who visited the Craft Show at Llamaloopfarm this year. We had the best year ever! Pam gave me a call on Wednesday to share the excitement! It seems each year gets a little better! :)

Well, today will be another busy one around here. I'm off to grocery shop and get what I need to wrap up my 10 White Chocolate Snack Mix Boxes that my cousin ordered for her neighbors and a few friends. I'm excited to get them finished and take some pictures to share! This is the very last order on my agenda this year! Yipppppeee Skipppeee!

Hope everyone has a great day & Thanks for stopping by!

Stamping My Days Away....

Hello & Happy Wednesday!

Hope your all doing well! I've been really slacking when it comes to getting my blog updated. I've been doing alot of stamping just no updating. I actually thought about taking a bit of a blogging break but decided not too!
So, here are some cards I made earlier this week.

First one was made for my hubby for our 22nd wedding anniversary which was last Saturday.

Second one is a Masculine Pocket Card. Love making these!

Third one is a Sympathy card made for a card order. Love this new Stampin Up set called Stippled Blossoms!!

I've been working on my Merry Monday card so i'll have that to share tomorrow!

Thanks for stopping by!

Set Your Sails

Hello & Happy Sunday!

The last few days here in Missouri it has been beautiful! Saturday temperatures hit 75 and boy, I just hated to see the day end. Today, we got a reality check....back to the 30's and walking Fluffy this afternoon those winds were bitterly cold. The next few days now they are calling for rain, freezing rain, sleet and snow. Just a reminder that it is still winter.

I've been working on a card order the last few days and today I had to work on masculine cards. I enjoy making them! I dug out some unmounted stamps and got to work.

I was digging thru old designer papers and just trying to use some of them up but honestly if I was to never buy any more paper i'd have enough to last me 10 years! LOL Next year I think that will be my next challenge....use up designer papers! :)

Set Your Sails Card:

Stamps: Sailboat from Class Act, Sentiment from Inky Antics
Ink: Chocolate Chip
Cardstock: Chocolate Chip, Cool Caribbean, White, DCWV Retro Pack
Accessories: Circle Nestibilities, Modern Label Punch, EK Success Wavy Border Punch, Satin Chocolate Ribbon, Cuttlebug Mesh Dots Embossing Folder, Gold Brads, Gold Charm, Scor Tape

I'm off to finish up one last card for the day!
I'll be back shortly to post it then off to bed.
