Christmas Classics Truffle Box

 Hello & Happy Sunday!

A rainy, dreary, cold morning here in PA but we need the rain!
I am headed to my stamp table today. I am still working on Audrey's card order. Yesterday I left my hands rest but today I really need to get moving on them. Last evening Shawn & I watched a movie on the Hallmark Channel that we missed last week called A Biltmore Christmas. It was really good! The Biltmore is an actual place in Asheville, North Carolina and they say it is gorgeous to see during the Christmas season.

Today I am sharing a fun & easy treat box that holds 4 Lindor Truffles.
I used a variety of things on this box...

Project Details:

Stamps: Stars At Night (sentiment), Christmas Classics
Ink: Old Olive, Real Red, Shaded Spruce
Cardstock: Real Red, Shaded Spruce, Old Olive, Basic White, Gold Foil Paper, Joy of Christmas DSP
Accessories: Stitched So Sweetly Dies (retired), Christmas Classics Dies, Vanilla/Gold Satin Ribbon, Gold Metallic Dots, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Here is the link to Marisa's video tutorial to make this box.

I bought a big bag of these truffles at Sam's Club and using 4 in this nice sized box was a great way to use them up. I am not sure where the box directions came from. Once I get to my stamp table I will look and update you here incase your interested in making some. Very pleased with these!!

Season's Greetings

 Good Morning & Happy Fri-YAY!

Today is the start of the holiday season as it is Black Friday!
I have not been one to go out shopping on Black Friday since my kids were little.
Instead, I will be decorating the house for Christmas since Shawn has to work all day. We had our Thanksgiving dinner yesterday then decorated the outside. Kelsey & Shady have been here since Wednesday afternoon and we will take them home this evening as she has to work tomorrow. How are you spending your Black Friday?

Since today is the start of the holiday season I have a pretty set of holiday cards to share with you. I used 2 new sets called Joy of Noel and Christmas Classics to create these.
Such a pretty collection of stamps, dies & papers!

Card Details:

Stamps: Joy of Noel, Christmas Classics
Ink: Memento Black, Real Red, Stampin Blends-Shaded Spruce, Real Red, Granny Apple Green, Pecan Pie
Cardstock: Real Red, Basic White, Joy of Christmas DSP
Accessories: Joy of Noel Dies, Christmas Classics Dies, Gold Ribbon (Online Exclusives), Neutrals Adhesive Backed Sequins, Dimensionals, Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I love that this paper is mostly the traditional Christmas colors of red & green and both stamp sets have nice sentiments included as well. Perfect addition to anyone's stamp collection!

Our Creative Corner Challenge

Hello & Happy Monday!

Hope you all had a great weekend! Mine was busy and I did find some time to stamp a bit but did not get around to updating the blog until tonight.

I have not participated in an Our Creative Corner Challenge for quite some time and Saturday Shawn worked so I decided to check it out! Anne Marie is the hostess this week and decided on a Color Challenge with lots of sparkle! I love sparkle and decided to play along! Below is the colors for the challenge and my sample....

I'm done with making Christmas cards as of now but I do need to work on a few money cards & gift cards in the next couple of days!

On this card I broke out a mitten die that I had for months from Amuse Stamps and cut it out with some red felt. I added a MS white snowflake with a pink rhinestone in the center. I used my SU Scallop Edge Punch on some glittery paper from Micheal's and added some Bashful Blue Taffeta Ribbon. I used my Snow Burst EF on the Pink CS that was adhered to my Bashful Blue card base. The sentiment comes from a SU set and I punched that with the Word Window punch and layered it on top of a piece of glittery paper that was punched with the Modern Label punch. Quick & easy and makes a cute card!

Our Creative Corner Challenge Card:

Stamps: Christmas Classics Sentiment
Ink: Real Red
Cardstock: Bashful Blue, Pretty in Pink, Glitter Paper from Micheal's, Neenah White
Accessories: Amuse Mitten Die, Red Felt, SU Snow Burst EF., SU Word WIndow & Modern Label Punches, SU Scallop Edge Punch, MS Snowflake Punch, Bashful Blue Taffeta Ribbon, Pink Rhinestones from Micheal's, Scor Tape

Well, that's all for today!
Thanks for stopping by!
Happy Holidays!

Ways To Use It Challenge 317

Hello & Happy Thursday!!

Today's Ways To Use It Challenge is to break out those "Decorative Scissors" or to use a border punch if we do not have decorative scissors. I know I have a few decorative scissors around somewhere but since moving I haven't be able to find them. I searched for about 10 minutes this morning and came up empty handed so I moved on to a border punch. Since I was working on Christmas stuff yesterday I just kept with that theme. I made a Christmas Card Gift Holder and used my Stampin Up Scallop Border Punch on my card. My image is from Christmas Classics and I cut that out with Rectangle & Rectangle Scalloped Nestibilities so I kept with that scalloped look by using the Scallop Border Punch.

Ways To Use It Challenge 317 Card:

Stamps: Christmas Classics
Ink: Soft Suede, Real Red
Cardstock: Real Red, Soft Suede, PTI White, Christmas Cocoa DSP
Accessories: Rectangle & Rectangle Scallop Nestibilities, SU Scallop Border Punch, Word Window & Modern Label Punches, Gold Ribbon from Micheal's, Pearl Brad, Kaiser White Pearls, Dimensionals, Scor Tape

Well, that's all for me today!
Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!
