Mother's Day Daffodil's

 Hello & Happy Monday!

Can you believe that Mother's Day is just around the corner?!
Recently I started to pull out all the florals & lovely sentiments related to Mother's Day!
I created a couple cards already so I feel ahead of the game!

Card Details:

Stamps: Daffodil Daydream (retired 2022)
Ink: Mossy Meadow, Memento Black, Stampin Blends- Mossy Meadow, Petal Pink, Flirty Flamingo
Cardstock: Flirty Flamingo, Petal Pink, Basic White, Daffodil Afternoon DSP (retired 2022)
Accessories: Daffodil Dies (retired 2022), Nested Essentials Dies, Spring Flowers EF (retired), Solid Faceted Gems (retired), Flirty Flamingo Ruched Ribbon (retired), Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

As much as I adore this stamp set & dies, the coordinating DSP is pretty much done from my stash. I may have 4 little strips left but this paper was used hard over the years! Audrey always asks for daffodils each spring and loves them!

Daffodil Daydream

 Hello & Happy Sunday!

Yesterday was such a dreary yukky day here in PA.
I popped out early afternoon for a haircut and it was just raining cats & dogs!
Was happy to get back home where it was warm & dry.

Today I have a pretty Easter card to share with you that I made the other day.
I pulled out one of my favorite sets that is now retired called Daffodil Daydream.

Card Details:

Stamps: Daffodil Daydream (retired)
Ink: Memento Black, Stampin Blends- Mint Macaron, Daffodil Delight
Cardstock: Daffodil Delight, Basic White, Country Gingham DSP (retired)
Accessories: Daffodil Dies (retired), Tailor Made Tags Dies, Basics 3D EF (Online Exclusives), White Organdy Ribbon, Brushed Brass Butterflies, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This is the first Easter card I made this year!
I sure hope I have time later this week to make more because Easter will be here before ya know it and I have been so behind.

Easter Blessings Set

 Good Morning & Happy Wednesday!

I am off to the dentist first thing this morning!
I'm hoping that I won't be there too long! We are starting the process of another crown. This will most likely be the last one for a few months because after 4 in the last year...my pocketbook is empty! LOL
Yesterday was such a gorgeous day! Wall to wall sunshine and temps in the upper 70's! Definitely my FAVORITE kind of weather! Today is to be almost 80 but with a chance of rain. Always seems like after a day or 2 of nice weather we get rain then it cools it back down. I guess that is spring weather for ya!
Well, today I have a most beautiful set of Easter cards to share with you that I made for Audrey! I really hated to give them to her but that's how it goes sometimes!

I saw this card made by another demonstrator and I just had to try to recreate it with adding in my own touches. Those daffodils are gorgeous and so fun to color! I sponged a bit of Mint Macaron ink on the inside of my oval diecut to help my flowers stand out. I added the sentiment on a tag and added a shimmery Mint Macaron bow. I wanted to add rhinestones but decided to let those gorgeous flowers stand alone! Aren't they beautiful?

Card Details:

Stamps: Daffodil Daydream
Ink: Memento Black, Mint Macaron, Stampin Blends-Daffodil Delight & Mint Macaron
Cardstock: Mint Macaron, Basic White, Country Gingham DSP
Accessories: Framed Florets Dies, Daffodil Dies, Tailor Made Tags Dies, Blending Brushes, Mint Macaron Shimmery Ribbon, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

And Audrey loved these!

Daffodil Daydream

 Good Morning & Happy Tuesday!

Today I have a set of Easter cards to share with you that were part of Audrey's card order.
She requested 2 packs of Easter and this is one set I made using the Daffodil Daydream bundle that came out in the 2022 January-June Mini Catalog and carried over into the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog.

Card Details:

Stamps: Daffodil Daydream, Celebrating You
Ink: Memento Black, Mint Macaron, Stampin Blends-Petal Pink & Mint Macaron
Cardstock: Petal Pink, Mint Macaron, Basic White, Country Gingham DSP
Accessories: Tasteful Textile 3D EF (retired), Oval Layering Framelits (retired), Daffodil Dies, Blending Brushes, Brushed Brass Butterflies, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I enjoyed coloring these daffodils which weren't too much work. I did a little at a time so my hands did not hurt. I used the Blending Brushes on the oval under the flower for a little bit of color but looking at these cards it looks like I had a heavy hand! LOL
I hope she likes them....especially the Petal Pink daffodils!

Daffodil Dies for Easter

 Hello & Happy Monday,  Friends!

I hope you all had a fabulous weekend!
Our weather yesterday was pretty warm....74 degrees!
However, it was cloudy all day and very windy.
It was nice to open the windows just a little bit and let the fresh air in.
I was a bit under the weather this weekend with a head cold/sinus issues.
I guess with our weather the last few weeks being all over the place it was bound to happen.
I'm hoping in the next few days to feel better.

Saturday I worked all day on my recent card order. My card lady order 3 packs of Easter cards this year and I already shared the other 2 packs. Today I have the last pack to show and I used more of the Daffodil Afternoon DSP from SaleABRation. I'm working hard to get that pack used up!

I was so happy with how these turned out that I almost thought about keeping them for myself! LOL I used the Daffodil Dies on these for the first time. I had to go in search of how to use them. Lots of parts & pieces and once I figured out how to layer them it went quick. I also used Adhesive Sheets on the back of my cardstock so I did not have to glue down each & every piece. Those Adhesive Sheets are amazing!

Card Details:

Stamps: Daffodil Daydream
Ink: Crushed Curry, Memento Black, Daffodil Delight Stampin Blends
Cardstock: Daffodil Delight, Crushed Curry, Pear Pizzazz, Very Vanilla, Daffodil Afternoon DSP (SAB 22)
Accessories: Daffodil Dies, Tasteful Textile 3D EF, Pretty Pillow Box Dies, Adhesive Sheets, Champagne Rhinestones, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I kept these cards flat for easy mailing for my card lady.
It took all I had to not add a bow to these!
I'm a sucker for ribbon and bows!

Happy Easter

Hello & Happy Thursday, Everyone!

A quick post today as I want to try to finish up my card order that i've been working on!

I have another pack of Easter cards to share that I made for my card lady.
I used more of the Daffodil Delight DSP that was available during SaleABRation.

Card Details:

Stamps: Easter's Promise (retired)
Ink: Flirty Flamingo
Cardstock: Basic White, Pale Papaya, Daffodil Afternoon DSP (SAB 22)
Accessories: Stitched So Sweetly Dies, Daffodil Dies, White Glittered Ribbon, Iridescent Rhinestones, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

My sentiment comes from an old set called Easter's Promise that was out a few years ago.
That adorable little butterfly is stamped on Pale Papaya cardstock with Pale Papaya ink. It comes from the Daffodil Daydream stamp set. It was diecut with the Daffodil Dies. This is a nice bundle and one that could be used for different occasions. I hope soon I get the chance to sit and play with the dies a bit more. It is a big die set that has different daffodils and stems. I noticed yesterday that my daffodils in the backyard are starting to pop up! A sure sign that spring is coming!

That is all I have for today! For now, it's back to my stamp table to create more cards!
My card lady called again yesterday and ordered more.
I just hope my hands are up for the challenge!
