Hello & Happy Friday!

The last Friday of 2017!

I was reminded as I looked at Facebook this morning that today is the day a year ago that Shawn ended up in the hospital for almost a month with his Diverticulitis Abscess. A day we knew was coming and kinda dreaded it. I pray that today is a better day for him than it was a year ago!

Yesterday I started taking down my Christmas decorations. I love how they dress up the house and just make everything so festive. I still have my Christmas Tree up which I might start taking down today but I did say that this year I was going to let it up until New Year's Day. Guess we will see.

So, today I have one more Merry Cafe card to share with you.

This card was made at the same time as the one I shared yesterday and I forgot about this one, too!

Like I said yesterday, if your a coffee drinker...this set is for you!

This time I cut my coffee cup out with Cherry Cobbler cardstock and stamped snowflakes on it from the Merry Cafe stamp set. I absolutely love how the wrap on the cup is diecut and also embossed to look like an actual coffee cup wrap. I stamped my sentiment with Cherry Cobbler & Garden green SU Markers to get the 2 different colors for the sentiment. I love all the little extra's that are in this stamp set like the little holly & berries that I added.

Christmas Cheer

Hello & Happy Thursday!

It is really cold out! Yesterday we did not get out of the 20's!

I think half the country is under this latest blast of cold air and it's to last a week or so!

Today I have another Christmas card to share.

I made this card way back in September and honestly I forgot about it.

It uses the Merry Cafe set from the Holiday Mini Catalog and I really wish it would be carried over but it's not.

Hello Fall

Hello & Happy Thursday!

Goodness, I am tired this morning and I know poor Shawn is most likely dragging too!

Yesterday afternoon our shower faucet broke. Had to turn off the water coming into the house since we could not shut off the faucet. Once hubby was home from work he looked at it and determined we needed the whole inside guts on the faucet itself. No one in York like Home Depot or Lowe's or even our local ACE store carried what he needed. He was off to Towson, Maryland where Home Depot there had 5 in stock! By 9pm last evening he finally got it fixed. In the meantime the supper dishes could not be washed, no laundry could be done and of course, we could not flush the toilets. So this morning my supper dishes are waiting on me which I might end up throwing in the dish washer and on top of that I have 3 more packs of cards to finish up today. My customer called and ordered 5 more packs yesterday and I have been frantically working to get them done. Hopefully tomorrow will be a bit less hectic! LOL

So anyways today I have another cool coffee cup card to share.

This was made with the Merry Cafe stamp set & coordinating Coffee Cup Framelits.

This one is for Fall.

These coffee cup cards are so fun and I really love that Stampin Up came out with a set for the holidays because most of us coffee people take our coffee & holidays pretty serious!

As you can see I rounded the corners on 2 opposite sides to give it a different look. I love this look! My paper is from the Painted Autumn DSP pack. I love the texture that this card gives with the chevron patterned in the one sheet of paper and the corrugated look of the cup wrapper and little corrugated heart. I added a Crushed Curry Enamel Dot and Baker's Twine to finish off my project.

Witches Brew For You

Hello & Happy Wednesday!

A rainy day is on tap here in PA today!

My friend is stopping by to visit and catch up then this afternoon I am going to go do a bit more crafting. I have 3 packs of cards to do for my customer for this month. She requested sunflowers and I have the perfect thing for her!!

So before my day gets away from me I wanted to share a card I made yesterday.

This set uses the Merry Cafe stamp set that is in the Holiday Mini Catalog that coordinates with the Coffee Cafe set.

Isn't this card adorable?

Since I am a coffee drinker I just had to get this to go with my Coffee Cafe set!  I also think it goes nicely with the Spooky Night DSP that is new too!

Those spider webs in the corners of the cup are so cool!

My customer is a coffee drinker and I am going to send this card to her for Halloween! 

She will get a giggle out of it!
