Butterfly Thinking of You

 Hello & Happy Sunday, Friends!

I hope you had a nice weekend!
It got a bit toasty yesterday! We did a quick trip to Sam's Club first thing in the morning then took a long walk down to the square in Red Lion and did some window shopping along the way. We went into the consignment shop which was very nice! I got myself a summer dress since the other 2 I have are way too big now. I also found some brand new shirts for $2 a piece. Can't beat that in this day & age where everything is priced thru the roof!

Anyways, today I have a card to share that is a blast from the past. It uses all things retired which is great because it means I am using up my old stash.

Card Details:

Stamps: Dreams du Jour (retired 2008), Phrases & Frames (Million Dollar Achiever Set)
Ink: Riding Hood Red (retired In Color), Kiwi Kiss (retired In Color)
Cardstock: Riding Hood Red (retired In Color), Kiwi Kiss (retired In Color), Basic White, Bella Rose DSP (retired 2008)
Accessories: Note Tag Punch (retired), Riding Hood Red Taffeta Ribbon (retired), Rhinestones, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Such a pretty set to pull out & play with again.
I got rid of so many of my wood mounted floral sets that I just have not used in years and felt it was time to pass them on. This one was always a favorite so it stayed! And that DSP is just so pretty!

This card was put in my bin for when the card rack needs refreshed.

Halloween Bags

 Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Today's Halloween Project is made with mostly retired items.
I have been trying for the last few years to clean out what I have in drawers and get it used up. I found a package of glassine bags that I believe were from a Halloween Kit from years ago and had enough to make 8 of these up with lots of yummy Halloween candies!

I made a topped to put over the top of my bag and stapled it on.
My paper is from the Cute Halloween DSP.
My tag is from the retired Sweet Hauntings stamp set & Tag Punch and I added a Black & White Gingham bow to my tag!
And my adorable little ghost is punched out of the Cute Halloween DSP using the Halloween Punch.

Treat Details:

Stamps: Sweet Hauntings (retired)
Ink: Pumpkin Pie
Cardstock: Highland Heather, Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White, Cute Halloween DSP
Accessories: Tag Punch, Halloween Punch, Black & White Gingham Ribbon, Gorgeous Grape Glittered Enamel Dots (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

My glassine bags hold 1 Bite Size Reese's PB Pumpkins, 1 Bite Size Milky Way, 1 Bite Size Snickers, and a Bite Size Twix.
Definitely a yummy treat for a sweet Trick or Treater!

Sweet Hauntings

Hello & Happy World Card Making Day!!!

I have been waiting for this day for a few weeks as I have a busy day planned!
My girls are off to doggy day spa this morning! They really need it, too!

Then this evening I am having all my stamp girls over for World Card Making Day!
I'm so excited for it!
I am going to try to share some pictures tomorrow.....if I do not forget to take some!
I may ask Shawn to take some.

I have a set of Halloween cards to share today.
These were made for my card lady.

Does that tag look familiar?
It was from a retired set called, Sweet Hauntings from the Stampin Up 2015 Holiday Catalog.
It was goes with the coordinating Note Tag Punch.
The paper is from AC Moore.
I wanted something cute and those smiling jack o lanterns were perfect!

Card Details:

Stamps: Sweet Hauntings (retired)
Ink: Basic Black Archival
Cardstock: Thick Whisper White, Basic Black, Tangelo Twist (retired), Patterned Paper from AC Moore
Accessories: Note Tag Punch, Tangelo Twist Ribbon (retired), Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Aren't these fun?
My card lady was thrilled with these because she wanted to use them for some little kiddo's she knows! And she always writes her own messages inside!
Makes my job alittle bit easier!

Happy Happy Halloween

Good Morning & Happy Friday!

I'm hoping for a good day and a great weekend ahead!

The other day I was playing around with my Halloween stuff and I pulled out old stuff as I was trying to work ahead and create kits for my Stamp Day w Friends.
I have bits & pieces in a zippy bag that were left over from other projects in the past.
I found 2 tags already stamped and ready to go and this is what I made with them....

My card is a fun fold and I used some scraps of the retired Happy Hauntings DSP from 2015.
Most of my paper packs have only snippets left and my goal is to use this stuff up!
Isn't that ghost paper cute? I sure wish I had more of it left!
The tag sentiment comes from the retired Sweet Hauntings set which was also out in 2015 and it also has the coordinating Note Tag Punch.

Card Details:

Stamps: Sweet Hauntings (retired), A Wish For Everything (inside sentiment)
Ink: Pumpkin Pie
Cardstock: Pumpkin Pie, Very Vanilla, Basic Black, Happy Hauntings DSP (retired)
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits, Circle Layering Framelits, Note Tag Punch (retired), Unknown Spider Web Diecut, Black Rhinestones, Black Glittered Ribbon, Halloween Night Twine (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Do you like the inside saying?
It comes from a set that kinda jumped out at me in the Stampin Up Annual Catalog on page 17.
It's loaded with nice inside sayings and stamps beautifully!

The possibilities are endless!

These were all so much fun to make!
I also want to add that these Mini Treat Bags will fit in a normal A2 sized envelope so you could send to family or friends....just can't fill it with candy to do that!

Halloween Boxes for my Challenge

Hello & Happy Friday!

This time it was my turn to come up with a challenge that my dear friend, Vicki & I have been throwing at each other the last few months.

Last month I sent Vicki a card with 3 little clear boxes in and I told her my challenge was to decorate them for her favorite holiday, Halloween!

A few days later I received word from Vicki that the challenge was on!

Here are my 3 boxes:

This box uses the new Sweet Hauntings stamp set in the Holiday Mini. I added a Candy Corn that I picked up at Michael's last year. The paper is from the Happy Hauntings DSP. My twine is the thick Very Vanilla from the main SU catty. I filled this box with Candy Corn M&M's!

This box I used the Fall Fest stamp set & matching Framelits. The sentiment is from For All Things set. The paper is from an old pack of SU paper called Halloween Night DSP. My ribbon is retired. It is the 1/8 Crushed Curry Taffeta Ribbon. My sentiment was punched with the Washi Label Punch. I filled this box with Caramel Hershey Kisses! Yum!

This box I used a sentiment from a Hero Arts set that i've had a long time. The paper is from the Happy Hauntings DSP (and I really love this ghost design). The black circle is from the new Black Glimmer paper and let me say how much I love this paper! My little ghost is a glittery foam sticker that was in my stash. My twine is Tangelo Twist from this past SaleABration. I filled this box with 2 Reese's Peanut Butter Cups that are orange and they say BOO on them!

I'm pleased with all 3 clear boxes!

I cannot wait to see Vicki's boxes! Here is the link to her blog so you can go check hers out & let her some love! I know her's will be awesome! She loves Halloween!

*** ETA: The clear boxes came from L&L Stamps in Ephrata, PA. ***

I also wanted to apologize for the lack of posts lately.
I went last Friday for my Branch Block diagnostic test. I had 6 needles in my lower back. They numbed my facet joints to see how long I stayed pain free. Once the numbing medicine wore off I was in major pain up until yesterday. I was miserable the last few days. I did not hear back from the pain management doctor on whether or not i'm having my nerves burned (RFA) or the recommendation of surgery. I will let you know when I know but now that my major pain has subsided I hope to be back to posting on a regular basis!

That's all for me today!
Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!

Curvy Keepsake Box Challenge

Hello & Happy Friday!

Today I have a challenge to share with you by my dear friend, Vicki!
She challenged me to make a box with the Curvy Keepsake Box Thinlits so I made 2!

First one I made is a Wedding Box...

I used Sahara Sand cardstock with Something Borrowed DSP from the Occasions Mini Catalog! This paper is so pretty! I added a tag using the Your Perfect Day stamp set. The added roses are from the Artisan Embellishment Kit! There are alot of goodies in that kit and sadly it's no longer available. I finished it off with some Blushing Bride Ribbon!

Here is my Halloween Curvy Keepsake Box:

For my box I used some Basic Black cardstock and added some Witch's Brew DSP. Using the same pack of DSP I punched a tag with the Note Tag Punch using a different print of paper and added my spider web and sentiment from the Mixed Medley stamp set which was a hostess stamp 2 years ago! I added 3 black pearls to my tag and finished it up with a Crushed Curry bow! I'm pretty happy with both and can't wait to fill these boxes and use as a gift!

This was such a fun challenge, Vicki! Thanks so much!
Stop by Vicki's blog to check out her Curvy Keepsake Boxes! I know her's will be awesome!

Well, that's all for me today!
Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!
