Congrats Grad

 Hello & Happy Wednesday, Friends!

The week is buzzing right along! Today is looking to be a very nice day with warm temps and low humidity. I am hoping to take advantage of this beautiful day with a good walk this evening! So today I am sharing a graduation card that I made recently for a friend. I pulled out all retired Stampin Up! products because that is all I own when it comes to this occasion. The school colors were black & gold.

Card Details:

Stamps: Sketch An Event (retired graduation cap), Great Grad (retired words on front), Northwoods Rubber Stamps (inside sentiment)
Ink: Basic Black Archival (retired), Crushed Curry, Versamark
Cardstock: Basic Black, Crushed Curry, Basic White
Accessories: Tasteful Textile 3D EF (retired), Tailor Made Tags Dies (retired), Basic Black & Crushed Curry Twine (retired), Black Sparkle Gems, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This turned out perfect for the occasion!
I don't make very many graduation cards because of the school colors and year they graduate. I usually wait until someone orders a card before I pull out my drawer of graduation stamps so nothing goes to waste.
I enjoy making this one! Thanks, Shannon!!

Feel Better Soon

 Good Morning & Happy Thursday!

Today I have a pretty card to share with you that has been awhile in the making so to speak. I started this card atleast a year or so ago and never finished it. I had the Petal Pink cardbase cut and the Crushed Curry panel embossed and then it got tossed aside for some reason. Last week I found it and decided to do something with it. So I added some paper from the Delightfully Eclectic DSP which is now retired. Isn't that daisy paper just so pretty? I felt like this needed to be a Get Well card for on the card rack.

Card Details:

Stamps: So Sincere (Million Dollar Achiever Set)
Ink: Crushed Curry
Cardstock: Petal Pink, Crushed Curry, Basic White, Delightfully Eclectic DSP (retired)
Accessories: Tailor Made Tags Dies (retired), Basics 3D EF (retired), Crushed Curry Ribbon (retired), Petal Pink Sequins (retired), Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Lots of retired products on this card but I got to get this stuff used up!
I think this one would cheer just about anyone up!

Paisley Birthday Set

Good Morning & Happy Tuesday, Friends!

We're waking up to a gusty wind and some cold temps this morning. Burrr!
Today I have a set of birthday cards to share that I made a few weeks ago using up a sheet of paper from The Paper Studio (Hobby Lobby). I'm not sure how long it's been in my paper stash but I wanted to use it up. It matches the Boho Blue cardstock nicely!

Card Details:

Stamps: Happy Thoughts (retired)
Ink: Boho Blue
Cardstock: Boho Blue, Basic White, The Paper Studio (Hobby Lobby)
Accessories: Perennial Postage Dies, Tailor Made Tags Dies (retired), White Ribbon (Online Exclusives), Boho Blue In Color Dots (retired), Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This set has 6 cards in it so I could use up an entire 12x12 sheet of paper. Right now they are sitting in my bin waiting to get put into a cello bag and put on the card rack.
Yesterday I finished up going thru all my stamp sets and adding them to lists along with the date the set came out so I can always reference the catalog for idea's as well. That was a pain staking job that took me 5 days to do but it will help me in the long run to use long retired stamps that collected dust over the years!

Today it's back to getting inky and working on Audrey's order!
WooHoo!

Natural Botanicals

Good Morning & Happy Tuesday, Friends!

Today I have a quick birthday card to share that I made with a stamp set that is from the 2025 Spring Mini Catalog called Natural Botanicals. I loved this set since the moment I seen it in the catalog and I finally got around to inking it up!

Card Details:

Stamps: Natural Botanicals, Sending Smiles (retired sentiment)
Ink: Granny Apple Green, Daffodil Delight, Night of Navy
Cardstock: Granny Apple Green, Daffodil Delight, Basic White
Accessories: Beautiful Butterflies Dies, Oval Layering Framelits (retired), Tailor Made Tags Dies (retired), Night of Navy Ribbon (retired), Linen Thread, Milky Dots (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This set is called a Reversable which means you can ink either side of the photopolymer rubber. On this card I just used the more detailed side. So fun!

Happy Cupcake Day

 Hello & Happy Monday, Friends!

Hope you had a nice relaxing weekend!
I have a cute card to share today that I used a variety of different products on.
Take a look...

Card Details:

Stamps: Candle Cupcake-Stampendous, Lockhart Stamp Co. Sentiment
Ink: Memento Black, Wild Wasabi (retired), Stampin Blends- Peach Pie, Pretty in Pink, Copic YG63
Cardstock: Pretty in Pink, Peach Pie, Basic White, Deja View- Alpha Blocks (Big Dots & Stripes)
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits (retired), Circle Layering Framelits (retired), Taylor Made Tags Dies (retired), Peach Pie Ribbon, Peach Pie In Color Shimmer Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Over the weekend I didn't do too much as I was so fatigued. Saturday, I went to my stamp table and played around a little bit. I pulled out my Thirty One bin that I house my non Stampin Up patterned papers in. I keep everything in a folder marked with the manufacturer name so I know. The first folder was Deja View. I only had a few sheets in there that I pulled out and made some cards with. The patterned paper on the cupcake card I still have a few pieces left that I may try to use up later this week. Then I moved over to my Iris carts and took out a drawer that has a variety of wood mounted stamps in. I pulled out the Stampendous Candle Cupcake and a Lockhart saying. These 2 brands were big back in the early 2000's. I'm not sure if either are still around today but I found it fun to pull those stamps out and ink them up again!

Do you ever find yourself trying to use up the older supplies that is in our stashes?
Sometimes it's such a surprise as to what we find! LOL
It was a good day, for sure!

Blueberry Bunches HB

 Happy Sunday, Friends!

It's snowy day here in south central Pennsylvania! I was praying it would not hit us but we lucked out. It's been snowing since about 8:30 this morning and as I type this it is snowing very heavily! We are sitting in the family room watching the Eagles vs Rams game. It just started snowing heavy there and they are not that far from us. Shawn has a fire in the fireplace which helping to keep it warm. Our Ravens play this evening so we are excited to watch! Fingers crossed for a good game!

I have a quick card to share today that I made with the Blueberry Bunches set. It came out in the 2024 Spring Mini Catalog but I just recently grabbed it from the Clearance Rack for half price. I liked the sentiments in the set. I paired it with some Blueberry Bushel Gingham DSP.

Card Details:

Stamps: Blueberry Bunches (retired)
Ink: Memento Black, Blueberry Bushel, Stampin Blends-Blueberry Bushel & Granny Apple Green
Cardstock: Basic White, Blueberry Bushel, Granny Apple Green, Glorious Gingham DSP (retired)
Accessories: Tailor Made Tags Dies (retired), Blueberry Bushel In Color Dots (retired), Granny Apple Green Ribbon (retired), Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Another one for the card rack!
I got a card order this week from Audrey that I have started picking at.
Does anyone know of a stamp that says "Love you to the moon & back"?
She asked for that on a set of Valentines Day cards but I have not found anything in my collection with that saying on. I may have to use the printer for that!

Well, that is it for today!
Stay safe & warm in this weather and the polar vortex frigid weather that is on our doorstep.
It's going to be tough on people but really tough on the animals, that's for sure!

Let It Snow Fun Fold

Good Morning & Happy Monday!

Hope you had a nice weekend!
I spent most of that time working on my Christmas treats! I'm happy to say that they are very close to being done. Now i'm waiting on Audrey to get her card order to me for December so I can get them started. I also need to work on Christmas card kits for my stamp girls. I'm going to have them over in a few weeks to make some holiday cards and catch up with them before the holidays get too crazy!

Today I am sharing a set of those cool fun fold cards that I have been making like a crazy woman lately. I guess you could say that they are my new obsession. LOL I am using up the last bits & pieces of my 2019 pack of Stampin Up Let It Snow Specialty DSP. Each card in the set of 5 are different because of what scraps I had left. This was one of my most favorite papers!

Please excuse my hand in the bottom picture. I could not get the cards to lay flat to atleast get a decent picture.

Card Details:

Stamps: Itty Bitty Christmas (retired)
Ink: Real Red, Pool Party
Cardstock: Pool Party, Real Red, Basic White, Let It Snow Specialty DSP (retired)
Accessories: Wintery 3D EF (retired), Stylish Shapes Dies, Circle Layering Framelits (retired), Tailor Made Tags Dies, Red Rhinestones (retired), White & Silver Ribbon, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

For being the last of my Let It Snow scraps I do love how each card turned out!
I really think it's the Pool Party, Real Red and Basic White colors that make this so pretty! And my snowman on each card was diecut directly from the DSP using the Tailor Made Tags Dies.

Today is my cleaning day so I guess I better get to it! A long day awaits!

Hallmark Movies & Sentimental Wishes

 Good Morning & Happy Monday!

I hope you had a nice weekend! I felt like I skipped the weekend as busy as it was. Yesterday I did have a chance to catch my breath and watched the football game. My Thanksgiving decorations are out and thankfully it's not as much as I have for Halloween & Christmas! This weekend I was able to watch the new Christmas movies on the Hallmark Channels. This one was on Friday Night called A Carol for Two.

It was so good! It reminded me of a broadway show with lots of singing and a great story behind it! Jordan Litz & Gina Claire Mason were fantastic!

Saturday Night we watched this one called A Holiday Love Story which was nothing like I was expecting!

It told a story of how a couple met on a train and several missed opportunities. It was comical and also heartfelt. I am a huge fan of Warren Christie & Nikki De Loach whom were the main actors in this. Loved it from start to finish!

Last nights movie I could not stay awake for. This time change is no joke and just throws things off atleast for me. I hope one day this week to watch it.

Anyways, I know your here to see a card so let's get to it!

Card Details:

Stamps: Sentimental Wishes
Ink: Pretty Peacock
Cardstock: Pecan Pie, Basic White, Sentimental Christmas DSP
Accessories: Snowflake Sky 3D EF, Tailor Made Tags Dies, Silver Trim Ribbon, Drusy Adhesive Backed Embellishments, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

A quick & simple card! The prints in this DSP are surely vintage inspired. I haven't used any of the images from the Sentiment Wishes stamp set other than the words but it's also got great vintage images as well!

Treat Bags

 Hello & Happy Wednesday!

Today I have a quick post for you!
Last Wednesday you may remember I made a sweet treat to give to Audrey as a Thank You using the Harvest Hello stamp set that is long retired. I know Audrey loves that set especially the pumpkin! Monday she asked me to make 2 of her friends the same treat bag but instead of using the apple if I could use the pumpkin. Ok, no problem but you do know that the candy in the bag is apple, right? She said yes, I know.

So, here are the same bags with the pumpkin instead of the apple!

Project Details:

Stamps: Caring Leaves, Harvest Hello's (retired)
Ink: Granny Apple Green, Pumpkin Pie, Pecan Pie
Cardstock: Basic White, Pumpkin Pie, Pecan Pie, Granny Apple Green
Accessories: Apple Builder Punch (retired), Tailor Made Tags Dies, Cello Bags, Ribbon from stash, White Twine, Champagne Rhinestones (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I love making treats and these came together pretty quick!

Bag of Bones

 Good Morning & Happy Monday!

I hope you had a nice weekend!
We had some gorgeous weather here in PA. We got out for a few walks and noticed that the leaves are starting to change color and fall to the ground. It won't be long now!

Today I have another Halloween candy treat to share with you. This one is made with the retired Bag of Bones bundle from last year.

Card Details:

Stamps: Bag of Bones
Ink: Basic Black Archival (retired), Highland Heather
Cardstock: Highland Heather, Basic White
Accessories: Bag of Bones Dies, Taylor Made Tags Dies, Circle Layering Framelits (retired), Black & White Gingham Ribbon, Cello Bags, Black Iridescent Pearls (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

The tags were leftover from a project last year and since they coordinated with the Kit Kat candy bars I used them! The cello bags came from Walmart and are the Wilton Pretzel Stick bags that are in the Cake Decorating section. I was able to fit 2 Kit Kats in each cello bag. My goal this holiday season is to use up what I have without having to buy more. Those cello bags have been in my stash for quite awhile. You will most likely see a variety of treats using cello bags this year!

Apple Treat

 Good Morning & Happy Wednesday!

Today I have a sweet treat to share with you!

About 6 weeks ago I purchased a bag of the Ghiradelli Caramel Apple Squares at the grocery store. They are SO good! I put a few of them into a yummy little treat to give to Audrey when I saw her last evening. I used a 4 x 6 cello bag that I had on hand and also added a handful of the Werther's Caramel Apple Hard Candies, too! I used a tag from the Tailor Made Tags Dies and the apple from the Harvest Hello's set that is retired. This stamp set with it's coordinating punch is one I use quite often and I know Audrey loves the Apple/pumpkins it creates! I used the Caring Leaves stamp set which is current now in the 2024 Holiday Mini Catalog for the sentiment on my tag. To close the bag i used some old green & white striped ribbon & some white twine. Lastly, I added some rhinestones because everything needs a bit of sparkle, right? So, I gave this to Audrey last evening as a little Thank You for her card order. She just loved it and it was good to see her smile.

Card Details:

Stamps: Harvest Hello's (retired), Caring Leaves
Ink: Real Red, Soft Suede, Granny Apple Green
Cardstock: Real Red, Soft Suede, Granny Apple Green, Basic White
Accessories: Apple Builder Punch (retired), Tailor Made Tags Dies, Cello Bag, Ribbon from stash, White Twine, Rhinestones, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Audrey is still dealing with her Shingles. She is on medications which she says helps take the edge off the pain & burning feeling. Other than that she seems to be doing well and chipper as usual. I told her that I will continue to keep her in my thoughts & prayers in the days ahead.

Today I have some preparing to do for World Cardmaking Day which is on Saturday October 5th. I am going to try to get Deb & Miss Emily over to make a few cards. We have not stamped together since before Christmas last year. I will have to see what I can whip up!
