Frosty Greetings

 Hello & Happy Thursday, Friends!

It's a gloomy, rainy morning here in South Central Pennsylvania.
They are calling for rain & storms here today and even though it's not been brutally hot, it's been very humid. I can almost say that I am ready for Fall.

Today I am sharing 2 cards that I made a few weeks ago using some Christmas items. I guess that day I was thinking about moving forward and getting some holiday cards made but they were the only two I made.

Card Details:

Stamps: Amuse (sentiment), Stampendous (Sweet Snowman)
Ink: Memento Black, Always Artichoke (retired), Copic Markers & Stampin Blends
Cardstock: Smoky Slate, Cherry Cobbler, Always Artichoke (retired), Basic White, Always Artichoke DSP (retired), Plaid Tidings DSP (retired 2020)
Accessories: Winter Snow EF (retired), Stylish Shapes Dies, Circle Layering Framelits (retired), Everyday Arches Dies, Always Artichoke Grosgrain Ribbon (retired), Holiday Rhinestones (retired), Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I have had this adorable snowman stamp for a long time and always enjoy coloring it!

Fluffles the Cat

 Hello & Happy Fri-YAY, Friends!

Last weekend before Christmas arrives!
I will be doing some cleaning and gift wrapping this weekend since Tuesday Kelsey & Sushi will be coming over. Then it's going to be all hands on deck to prepare food for Christmas Eve & Christmas Day! Busy, busy, busy!

I have a cute card to share with you today using an old Stampendous stamp called Fluffles the Cat from 2005. I'm not sure if this line of stamps is still around but this one I hung onto and have not used it in quite awhile. Audrey has a friend that is a huge cat lover and she requested a card for Christmas with a cat on. This was the perfect opportunity to pull it out and get it inked up after a long absence.

Card Details:

Stamps: Stampendous (Fluffles the Cat 2005)
Ink: Memento Black, Stampin Blends, Copic Markers
Cardstock: Real Red, Garden Green, Basic White, Christmas Tags & More Specialty DSP
Accessories: Stylish Shapes Dies, Square Layering Framelits (retired), Snowflake Sky 3D EF (retired), Traditions Sparkle Sequins, Green & White Ribbon (Online Exclusives), Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Always fun to pull out the old stuff and I love that Audrey always keeps me guessing on what she will order next! A few months ago as I was cleaning out my stamp drawers I had this stamp laying on the pile to get rid of and for some reason I put it back in my drawer. Glad I hung on to it!

Today I am finishing up some laundry and working on a Christmas puzzle that I started yesterday. It's much easier than that Halloween one Kelsey & I started on mid October. I ended up throwing that one away. I don't think I've ever had one that was as hard as that one was!

 Hello & Happy Thursday, Friends!

I have a quick post for you today sharing a card made with a very well loved Penny Black stamp. This pretty flower stamp has been sitting on my stamp table for atleast a month and on a whim last week I grabbed it and inked it up with some Timid Tiger ink. I stamped it once and then stamped it again without inking it up. I love the look!

The inside says Thinking of You!

Card Details:

Stamps: Penny Black (coneflower), Stampendous (Keep in Touch)
Ink: Timid Tiger (NEW In Color)
Cardstock: Timid Tiger (NEW In Color), Basic White, Timid Tiger DSP (NEW In Color)
Accessories: Textured Notes Dies, Timid Tiger Ribbon (NEW In Color), Brushed Brass Butterfly, Glue Dots, Stampin Seal Adhesive

This card really showcases some of those new Textured Notes Dies which are pretty amazing! Each die has a different diecut design. I just love this card!

July 4th Holiday!

 Happy July 4th, Friends!

Hope your celebrating today!
Our little town had it's fireworks display last evening. Ryan & I sat out on the front porch to watch like we do every year. Shawn came out with Bailee for a few minutes but the booms hurt her ears and she would bark each time a loud boom went off. They ended up watching from the front door.

That was the view from the porch and thankfully it was a beautiful evening to sit out.

So, today I wanted to share the last of my July 4th cards with you.
The first one I'm not sure what the stamp is called but it was made by Stampendous. Someone stamped this image off and sent to me years ago. I decided to have some fun and colored it one afternoon then turned it into a card with some paper scraps from my stash.

Card Details:

Stamps: Stampendous (sentiment & image)
Ink: Memento Black, Blueberry Bushel, Stampin Blends-Real Red, Blueberry Bushel, Daffodil Delight, Pecan Pie
Cardstock: Blueberry Bushel, Real Red, Basic White, American Crafts
Accessories: Oval Layering Framelits (retired), Stitched Rectangle Framelits (retired), Lucky Stars EF (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

My second card...

Card Details:

Stamps: Inkadinkadoo, Stampendous (sentiment)
Ink: Misty Moonlight, Real Red
Cardstock: Misty Moonlight, Real Red, Basic White, White Glimmer Paper (retired), K& Company -Americana
Accessories: Circle Layering Framelits (retired), Star Punch (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Both were fun to create!

Happy Cupcake Day

 Hello & Happy Monday, Friends!

Hope you had a nice relaxing weekend!
I have a cute card to share today that I used a variety of different products on.
Take a look...

Card Details:

Stamps: Candle Cupcake-Stampendous, Lockhart Stamp Co. Sentiment
Ink: Memento Black, Wild Wasabi (retired), Stampin Blends- Peach Pie, Pretty in Pink, Copic YG63
Cardstock: Pretty in Pink, Peach Pie, Basic White, Deja View- Alpha Blocks (Big Dots & Stripes)
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits (retired), Circle Layering Framelits (retired), Taylor Made Tags Dies (retired), Peach Pie Ribbon, Peach Pie In Color Shimmer Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Over the weekend I didn't do too much as I was so fatigued. Saturday, I went to my stamp table and played around a little bit. I pulled out my Thirty One bin that I house my non Stampin Up patterned papers in. I keep everything in a folder marked with the manufacturer name so I know. The first folder was Deja View. I only had a few sheets in there that I pulled out and made some cards with. The patterned paper on the cupcake card I still have a few pieces left that I may try to use up later this week. Then I moved over to my Iris carts and took out a drawer that has a variety of wood mounted stamps in. I pulled out the Stampendous Candle Cupcake and a Lockhart saying. These 2 brands were big back in the early 2000's. I'm not sure if either are still around today but I found it fun to pull those stamps out and ink them up again!

Do you ever find yourself trying to use up the older supplies that is in our stashes?
Sometimes it's such a surprise as to what we find! LOL
It was a good day, for sure!

Fun Pocket Card

 Hello & Happy Thursday!

We've been having some really nice weather here in Pennsylvania the last few days and I have not been downstairs to stamp the last 2 days. Today I plan too if I get all my other chores done! My hubby was off yesterday that is why i'm off my schedule.

I have a cool card to share today using the Friends Are Like Seashells stamp set!

My card starts with a Blushing Bride cardbase that measures 4 1/4 x 11 and scored at 5 1/2 and again at 1 1/4. Then I adhered each side of the card on the inside to create the pocket. The 1 1/4 inch flap is folded to the outside then I used the Detailed Trio Punch on the corners to round them. I added my Sand & Sea DSP to the front with 2 different prints.
I created the pull out tag using a piece of Blushing Bride cardstock measuring 3 1/4 x 4 1/2. Then a piece of Basic White measuring 3 x 4 1/4. I rounded the corners at just the top of the pull out tag. Then I used my retired Round Top Tab Punch and punched out a So Saffron piece to use as a pull tab. This punch has been retired for many years but I always reach for it when I make Pocket Cards!
The focal sentiment on the front of the card was diecut with the Stitched Shapes Framelits and the Circle Layering Framelits.
The sentiment comes from the Friends Are Like Seashells stamp set. The shells are from the Seaside Shells Dies. I stamped them on various cardstocks and diecut them out. I love the different colors!
Lastly, I added a Blushing Bride twine bow and some Opal Rounds.
The Opal Rounds are very pretty!

Card Details:

Stamps: Friends Are Like Seashells, Sentiment on tag from Stampendous
Ink: Blushing Bride, So Saffron
Cardstock: Blushing Bride, So Saffron, Basic White, Sand & Sea DSP
Accessories: Circle Layering Framelits, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Seaside Shells Dies, Detailed Trio Punch, Round Tab Punch (retired), Blushing Bride Twine, Opal Rounds, Glue Dots, Mini Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I made these last couple of Friends Are Like Seashells for on my card rack.
I had no beachy style cards left on it so with summer on our heals I thought I better get some made!
This is a wonderful suite of products which is carrying over to the new 2021-2022 Stampin Up Annual Catalog come May 4th. The only thing not carrying over is the gorgeous Sand & Sea DSP! So if you like this paper you'd better grab it before it's gone.
I do think this is one of Stampin Up's best seashell sets that I have seen and I like all the sentiments included in it!

Daffodils are my favorite spring flower!
Yesterday we drove past a local farm that their entire property was lined with daffodils! It was so neat & very pretty!
Thanks for stopping by & enjoy the sunshine today!

Lace Embossing Folder

Hello & Happy Friday!

Yesterday I finished up my Valentines Day projects for my Stamp Day w/ Friends!
So glad that is off my plate and I can move on to doing some creating for me.
I have been wanting to make a picture frame sampler but never have enough time.
Today just might be the day I can start it!

I do have a set of pretty cards to show you.
It was part of the recent customer order that I did and I thought I already shared them.

I used the new Lace Embossing Folder on these.
It's one of those extra thick folders and it really makes quite the impression!
My sentiment is from Stampendous.

Card Details:

Stamps: Stampendous
Ink: Petal Pink
Cardstock: Petal Pink, Whisper White
Accessories: Lace EF, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Circle Layering Framelits, Metallic Petal Pink Ribbon, Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I love a monochromatic card and this one I think is very striking thanks to that embossing folder!
Hope you like it, too!

Joyful Christmas

Hello & Happy Saturday!

Quick post this morning then out to run some errands!
I worked all week on taking down my Christmas decorations and then the adventure of packing up all the ceramic Christmas trees. That is no easy task as each one has to be wrapped in bubble wrap and carefully packed away in very large storage totes. My house seems bare now.
I left my usual 4 out for the year so I can continue to admire them!

Today I have one last set of Christmas cards to share that were a part of my customers 10 packs this year. These are pretty straight forward and quite easy except for the embossing.

I used an embossing powder that I got at a local stamp store (Stampede in York, PA.) years ago and sadly the store closed up maybe 7-8 years ago. I think it is made by Stampendous. It is a sparkly gold glittery embossing powder and it's even prettier than this last upclose picture.
I tried to let the embossing do all the work on this one and also keep if flat for easy mailing!

Card Details:

Stamps: Joyful Christmas
Ink: Cherry Cobbler, Versamark
Cardstock: Thick Very Vanilla, Cherry Cobbler
Accessories: Heat Gun, Stampendous Embossing Powder, Gold Rhinestones, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Thankfully, with all the cards my customer orders, I never have to put an inside sentiment in them as she likes to write her own messages!

My thoughts today....

Every single one! LOL

Tomorrow I will start the first 6 months of my Year in Review.
That's tough going thru and picking out my favorites!
Hope you will stop back and check them out Sunday & Monday!

That's all for now!
Thanks for stopping by & enjoy your weekend!
