Country Home Card Set

One week today is Christmas!

Are you ready?

Today I have a set of cards made for my card lady.

She asked for something seasonal with no saying on.

And you all know how I feel about no saying cards! 

I did manage to whip these up for her but again, it was tough not putting a saying on!

I had to do some looking on Pinterest to get myself inspired!

I found a card made with this set that was embossed in gold and colored so beautifully as a Christmas card! That is the great thing about Pinterest.....always something there to inspire you!

While mine is not embossed in gold, I did use some Wrapped in Plaid Specialty DSP that has Gold Foil in it. I colored my images with Christmas color Stampin Blends and diecut them out with the Stitched Rectangle Framelits. I added a gold twine bow and a Gold Glittered Enamel Dot that just made it all come together! 

Needless to say, my card lady was pleased with them but my hand sure hurt from coloring those images! LOL

Cardstock: Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White, Wrapped in Plaid Specialty DSP

Accessories: Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Gold Twine (retired), Glue Dots, Gold Glittered Enamel Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

In the end they turned out pretty nice!

Tuesday Morning Sketches 502

Hope your all having a good weekend!

It's to be a rainy day here in PA. Not a nice way to spend Mothers Day.

Kelsey & Shady are coming over to spend the day with me!

Definitely a bright spot on this rainy day!

I haven't had much time to stamp this last week even though I really wanted too!

Last evening around 9pm I headed down to my stamp table to make a card! 

I wanted to use the Tuesday Morning Sketches Challenge to create a card for a friend.

I also just got the Stampin Up! Everything Is Rosy Medley on Thursday and it was killing me not to ink it up!

So, here is the sketch and my card.....

The Everything Is Rosy Medley is a Stampin Up! special this month while supplies last.

At first I was not really keen on it, then I seen a demonstrator show everything in the kit and I was taken with it! I ordered it right away!

Ink: Night of Navy, Melon Mambo

Cardstock: Melon Mambo, Night of Navy, Whisper White, Rose Gold Foil Paper, Everything Is Rosy DSP

Accessories: Everything Is Rosy Thinlits, Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This sheet of DSP is so pretty and I love the pops of Rose Gold Foil in it!

And those flowers....I love them!

Country Home

Hello & Happy Friday!

Man, did we ever get hit with an early winter storm yesterday!

This morning it is still snowing here lightly but that is to dissipate as the day wears on.

We had close to 8 inches of snow!

They predicted 1-3! Oh and let's not forget the ice! Our roads were horrible and interstates here turned into parking lots! It was worse than I have ever seen it.

Thank God Shawn is on vacation and did not have to travel to & from work in it.

It was nice to see him go out and snow blow the driveway then go help our neighbors.

Usually our neighbor comes over and starts to shovel our driveway out.

Returning the favor was wonderful to see!

We sat most of the day in our PJ's and just watched it snow!

It's always a lovely sight to see it snow and blanket everything but I am just not ready for snow yet.

Our trees still have leaves on them and still falling.

Our front yard is blanketed in leaves even after I raked last week.

Let's hope this snow will melt quickly so we can get the rest of the leaves raked up and out of here!

So, today I have 1 last Thanksgiving card to share from my Stamp Day with Friends.

This was Emily's favorite and she had already decided who she was mailing it too! LOL

I chose this particular image because it does not require as much coloring so my hands would not hurt. We used Stamping Blends to color this and then put it all together. At first I was not really keen with the Mint Macaron & Blackberry Bliss put together but after looking at the Country Lane DSP, it all seems to go together beautifully....so I went with it!

November Class Bags

Hello & Happy Saturday!

Yesterday was such a rainy, dreary day!

I'm glad today to wake up to some beautiful sunshine but it is rather windy & cold.

I'm just happy to see the sun!

I have a quick post for you today as I need to pop out to the store then home to get my stamp room ready for our stamp get together with friends tomorrow afternoon!

I'm thrilled to share with them some pretty Fall/Thanksgiving cards!

Here are the bags I decorated for them to take their cards home in.

I used the Country Lane Suite from the Stampin Up Holiday Mini Catalog.

This stamp set called Country Home is loaded with pretty images and lots of sentiments.

The DSP is Country Lane.

My bags also use the Delicate Lace Edgelits. 

They come with 3 Edgelits and they all cut so nicely!

Country Home Card Set

Yesterday was another really nice day!

It was the perfect opportunity to take down my Halloween decorations and pack them away for another year. The house looks empty now but it won't last long as we are going to start digging out our ceramic Christmas trees this weekend. I can't wait to see them all displayed!

So, today I am sharing my last pack of Thanksgiving cards that were created for my customer.

This set uses the Country Home set from the Holiday Mini Catalog,

I love the images in this set but coloring them is not my friend.

My hands hurt like crazy till I was done.

Card Set Details:

Cardstock: Crushed Curry, Rich Razzleberry, Whisper White, Country Lane DSP

Accessories: Crushed Curry Taffeta Ribbon, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

When I started putting these together I was not sure about my cardstock color choices but once they were all made I was so happy with them! Not colors I would have normally put together but they are colors listed on the pack. My customer raved over them and that always makes me smile!

Thanksgiving Card Set #3

Hello & Happy Friday!

The weekend is here although it will be a rainy, windy one.

A Nor-easter is headed up the east coast giving us another soaking rain,

Glad it won't be snow or we'd be in trouble!

Today I am back to sharing another pack of Thanksgiving cards that my customer ordered.

This card set is using the Country Home set from the Holiday Mini Catalog on pg. 43.

I wasn't quite sure on this particular sheet of DSP when I first saw it because of the Mint Macaron color but I loved the pumpkins that were in it! 

I decided to put it to good use and let the paper do all the work!

Cardstock: Mint Macaron, Cajun Craze, Whisper White, Country Lane DSP

Accessories: Oval Layering Framelits, Mint Macaron Taffeta Ribbon (retired), Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I really think it was the bow that won me over on this card!

I will always be a ribbon addict....incase you did not already know that! LOL

Another pack of pretty cards for my customer...Thank God she loved them!
