Retirement Card

 Hello & Happy Fri-YAY!

Today I have a quick post to share a card that was made as part as Audrey's next card order.
She asked for a retirement card for a lady with a chair and some flowers next to it. I wasn't quite sure what I was going to do for this but I started going thru some sets and found what I needed. Take a look...

Card Details:

Stamps: Welcoming Window (retired), Itty Bitty Greetings (retired)
Ink: Cajun Craze, Garden Green, Daffodil Delight
Cardstock: Daffodil Delight, Garden Green, Basic White, Wood Textures DSP (retired)
Accessories: Seasonal Layers Thinlits (retired), Circle Layering Framelits (retired), Window Dies (retired), Fun Patterns EF (Online Exclusives), Glossy Dots, Daffodil Delight Ribbon (retired), Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Today is injection day for me!
I load up with lots of protein before & after because it helps greatly with side effects. I am starting my second box of 5mg Mounjaro. My blood sugars have been really good and I have lost 36.2 pounds in 12 weeks. As much as I worried about moving up in dose 4 weeks ago, I did really well with it and not much in the way of side effects other than some fatigue. I'm hoping it stays that way throughout my course on this medication!
So there is my 12 week update. I will update you again in 4 weeks!

Thoughtful Expressions HB

 Hello & Happy Monday!

Did you enjoy a nice weekend?
The weather yesterday was very pleasant for a change! I even spent some time at my stamp table which was the highlight of my day!
I pulled out the stamp set Thoughtful Expressions and played with it. Not sure that I ever used the stamps but I know I have used the dies.

Card Details:

Stamps: Thoughtful Expressions, Very Best Occasions
Ink: Memento Black, Moody Mauve, Bubble Bath & Granny Apple Green Stampin Blends
Cardstock: Moody Mauve, Basic White, Poetic Expressions DSP
Accessories: Thoughtful Expressions Dies, Fun Patterns EF (Online Exclusives), Adhesive Backed Dragonflies & Birds, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I'm not happy with the coloring of my flower. I wanted the centers colored with Moody Mauve but it was a bit too dark for my liking so I took my Bubble Bath Dark Blend over it to soften it. Not sure I am liking it and may redo it.

Today I have a few chores to do then i'm headed to my stamp table for a bit.
I got so many idea's running thru my head that I want to try while i'm not busy and before I forget! LOL

Looks Like Spring Dies

 Good Morning & Happy Tuesday!

I hope your day is off to a great start?!
Today I want to share a card I made for Audrey on her last order. She just requested something with daffodils and no sentiment. I was going to pull out my Daffodil Afternoon stamp set but then I remembered I ordered a small set of dies from Stampin Up. I think these were an add on to the Kits Collection. This set only has 4 dies in it but caught my eye because it diecut a cute little daffodil. So this is what I pulled out and used for her card...

Card Details:

Stamps: none
Ink: none
Cardstock: Daffodil Delight, Basic White, Gingham Gala DSP (retired)
Accessories: Fun Patterns EF (Online Exclusives), Looks Like Spring Dies, Daffodil Delight Enamel Dots, Organdy Ribbon (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

My pictures really did not do this card any justice but as always, Audrey loved it!

So, I did get my Easter cards all finished! Today I will be addressing them and getting them out for the mail. Hoping they arrive at their destination in time for Easter!
