I think summer finally found us!

I have a beachy Father's Day card to show you today using more retired products. I love this one and how the DSP does all the work!

By The Bay Father's Day

 Good Morning & Happy Fri-YAY!

This week flew by so quick for a change. Today I have a pretty cool card to share that I made for Father's Day using the By The Bay Bundle. I know Father's Day is coming pretty fast so I knew I had to buckle down and start getting some cards made for on the card rack. The kids will be shopping soon for their cards so that was my thought process on this card. Shawn likes anything to do with the beach, ocean, fishing and his #1 love of cars! On this card I decided to use the crab and the sandpipers from the stamp set. 

I started with a cardbase of Night of Navy then a layer of Balmy Blue and a piece of By The Bay DSP. I stamped the crab on Basic White cardstock as well as the saying on the tag. I diecut the crab using the By The Bay Dies and the saying with the Tailor Made Tags Dies. I also cut a second tag out with Mint Macaron cardstock to layer under the other tag. I added a Night of Navy bow to my tag once I had them layered and adhere on to my card. I popped up the crab with a dimensional. I felt like the bottom of the card looked bare so I took the 3 little sandpipers and stamped them along the bottom of the card in Night of Navy ink. I know the one is hard to see. I finished this off with a few little Adhesive Backed Milky Dots. On the inside I stamped the crab beside the inside saying. I thought it looked pretty cool. This was the first time I played with this set and I really hope to play more with it now that summer has arrived!

Stay tuned for more Father's Day/Masculine cards coming in the next couple of weeks. I got Audrey's card order finished and delivered to her so I will have the next few weeks to myself to stamp for fun. Oh and by the way....she loved the Baby & Wildflowers baby shower card as well as the Pink Teapot & Roses Bridal Shower card!! She was so thrilled with them and that made me happy!

You're Flippin Awesome

 Hello & Happy Saturday!

We are in for a super nice weekend which I am looking forward too!

For one, I am happy that I can turn my ac off!

Two, there isn't much on the agenda other than I am off for a haircut this afternoon.

And three, I hope to get some fun stamp time in! My friend Deb surprised me yesterday and brought out the Lighthouse Point Bundle for me to play with and i'm super stoked about that!

Last evening, Shawn got the concrete slab on the back porch painted. It looks so nice! He did that while I made supper for us & cleaned up.

Later today we will put the furniture and my beloved glider back out and get the blinds hung and my hanging baskets! I will try to remember to take a picture to share with you!

So I was summoned to make Shawn a Father's Day card last week from Ryan.

I pulled out my He's All That Bundle from the new Annual Catalog and got to work.

I know it's got a bow on it but I don't think Shawn will mind, I mean after all it's brown!

The little saying tags came with the He's The Man DSP and can be used for possibly a scrapbook page or on cards! I love this and wish Stampin Up! would do that more!

I pulled out the You're Flipping Awesome because Shawn is the grill master in our house!

I have never ever used the grill and don't plan too any time soon! He loves it so I say "go for it"!

Inside I used the new Mini Pocket Envelope Dies to create that little pocket for inside.

Ryan can add a gift card or cash to it. The Best Dad saying is another one of those little tags that came with the DSP. I then stamped the Happy Father's Day saying on a die from the All That Dies and glued it down. Lastly, I added some Rustic Metallic Adhesive Dots.

I really liked it when I was done!

We always say that Ryan is learning to make some very nice cards when he gives one of us a card! He laughs!

He's All That

 Hello & Happy Monday!

I hope everyone had a nice weekend! It was a pretty dreary, rainy one here in PA.

Friday & Saturday it rained all day! We had over 4 inches of rain since Friday morning.

 

Yesterday turned out to be a nice day! We took Bailee out to the Rail Trail for a nice walk which she enjoyed but it played her out! She was a happy girl getting out for a long walk after 2 days of constant rain.

Today is my dear, sweet hubby's birthday! 

Ryan requested a card for him last week so this is what I made him.

I used the new He's The Man Suite from the new 2022-2023 Stampin Up! Annual Catalog.

This suite of products was ordered during preorder since I knew Shawn's birthday & Father's Day was coming and this suite of products are right up his alley!

Shawn is a huge fan of cars so I knew this suite would be perfect for him.

There are bits & pieces in the DSP that can be used for scrapbooking, too!

I think the set of dies are amazing and very versatile! 

I can see them used with many other stamps not just this masculine stamp set.
