Hello & Happy Friday!

It's the last day of March! WooHoo!
It is a very cold rainy day here in PA today which might turn into a pj day for me!

I am in the midst of a huge card order from my customer.
Here is a masculine birthday card she asked for.

Masculine Birthday Card:

Stamps: Wetlands (sentiment), Wilderness Awaits
Ink: Basic Black Archival, Delightful Dijon

My thoughts today.....

I am still nursing my back.
My doctor got back to me yesterday and told me to take 2 Aleve twice a day and put some Capsaicin creme on my back. If I don't get any relief from that then I am to call and schedule an appointment.
I'll give it to Monday and if I am not having any relief I will call. For now I am still using ice packs and trying to rest my back from bending or twisting.

Thanks for stopping by!

Basket Bunch M&M Sticks

Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Today I have another Easter treat to share that I made using the retired 1 x 8 Cello Bags that Stampin Up use to carry but I hear that another company does carry them....I just did not retain the name. I would say to try Googling it to see if anything shows.

My M&M Sticks are a must for every holiday and I have a customer who always purchases all that I make. At Christmas she wrote me a letter telling me how much she loves my treats, not for herself but as a nice little treat for her Sunday School kids plus she also gives them to people who are less fortunate. At Christmas she delivered gifts to some needy folks and added the M&M Sticks to the kids packages for a little something sweet. She said the children absolutely loved them! That made my heart happy to read. Her caring & generosity to others is something I never pictured her being so I was blown away at what I have learned about her. She also was my high school English teacher! What a beautiful soul she is and making such a difference in the lives of others....

Of course, I had to use this adorable bunny from the Basket Bunch stamp set....isn't he just so cute??
I whipped up 30 of these for Easter this year and I always enjoy making them!

Easter M&M Sticks:

Stamps: Teeny Tine Wishes (sentiment), Basket Bunch Bundle
Ink: Memento Black, Copic Markers, Pear Pizzazz
Cardstock: Whisper White
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits, Basket Builder Framelits, 1 x 8 Cello Bags, White Baker's Twine, Dimensionals

Just for You Card

Hello & Happy Monday!

Hope everyone had a nice weekend.

I had a great day on Saturday!
Shawn & I got out and rode our bikes on the rail trail before lunch. The weather was overcast but the temps were in the mid 70's! Perfect day to get out & get some fresh air!
The rest of the weekend I was laid up as I have thrown my back out.
Friday evening I tripped on a rug. I caught myself so I did not fall but I think the sudden jolt or twist sent my back into a tizzy. Then Saturday I worked in the backyard cleaning up leaves & such so that is what probably topped off my pain. Since I did not sleep much Friday & Saturday night because I could not get comfortable....I took half muscle relaxer & a pain pill before bed last night. I hate taking pain meds as they wack me out but they have helped my pain level and I was finally able to sleep. I'm hoping in a few days to be back to normal or else a trip to the doctor will be in the plans.

I do have a cute doggy card to share again today.
I made this on Friday.

I so love this Bella & Friends stamp set as it reminds me of Gigi.
So many cute images that I haven't even used yet!

Just for You Card:

Stamps: Bella & Friends
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Cajun Craze
Cardstock: Chocolate Chip, Cajun Craze, Whisper White, American Crafts Paper
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits, EK Success Paw Print Border Punch, Dog Bone Clip, Chocolate Chip Grosgrain, White Baker's Twine, Dimensionals, 2 Sided Tape

I picked up the patterned paper at AC Moore a few months ago. I was drawn to the colors and the plaid print. I'm a sucker for plaid!!!
I hope you like it too!

My thoughts for today.....

Yes, this is so me today! Dragging!
I think I need to crawl back in my dog box and sleep the pain away.
Keep your fingers crossed for a better day tomorrow.

Thanks for checking in!
Hope you have a wonderful day!

The last few weeks in my stamp room have been busy!
I have been a stamping fool making all kinds of treats for the upcoming Easter holiday!
Today's project is one I made up on my own so it would fit these yummy Hershey's chocolate bunnies.

I pulled out some retired Lavender Lace cardstock to match the patterned paper that came from Hobby Lobby. My sentiment is from the Basket Bunch stamp set (Stampin Up) and my stitched bunny die is from Lil Inkers.

Easter Bunny Treats:

Stamps: Basket Bunch (sentiment)
Ink: Melon Mambo
Cardstock: Lavender Lace, Whisper White, Daffodil Delight, The Paper Studio (Hobby Lobby)

With Heartfelt Sympathy

Hello & Happy Friday!

Today I made a pack of Sympathy cards for my customer using the Avant Garden and the Delicate Details stamp set from SaleABration. These have become my favorite sets this year!

I went with Pacific Point & Soft Sky for my colors with the leaves done in Pear Pizzazz.
My customer loved the last pack I made her with the Wisteria Wonder, Elegant Eggplant & Pear Pizzazz colors.

With Heartfelt Sympathy Cards:

Stamps: Avant Garden, Delicate Details, Simply Sketched (sentiment)
Ink: Pacific Point, Soft Sky, Pear Pizzazz
Cardstock: Pacific Point, Soft Sky, Whisper White
Accessories: Soft Sky 1/8 Taffeta Ribbon, 2 Sided Tape

I really wanted to add a few rhinestones to each card but unfortunately I ran out so I will have to hit up Michael's soon!
Hope you enjoyed this card!

Easter Bunny Pouches

Hello & Happy Thursday!

Today I have a cute Easter Treat to share!

I have made this same type of treat for Halloween & Valentines Day.

The bunny face is from a stamp set called Friends & Flowers and it coordinates with the Festive Flower Punch. It is a very versatile set and one I will hang on to for a long time!

Easter Bunny Pouches:

Stamps: Friends & Flowers, Circle of Spring (sentiment)
Ink: Memento Black, R21 Copic Marker
Cardstock: Baja Breeze, Neenah White, Baja Breeze DSP 12x 12 Stack
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits, 1 3/8 Circle Punch, Festive Flower Builder Punch, Ornate Tag Topper Punch, Blue Ribbon from Dollar Tree, Blue Gel Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose
Liquid Glue

These pouches are easy to whip up!
All you need is a piece of cardstock that measures 2 x 11. Score at 5 & 6 and punch both ends with a Tag Topper Punch. For these I use the retired Ornate Tag Topper Punch. Then I used a 2 x 8 cello bag and filled them with 4 Dove Chocolates and snipped my bags down to fit. I then attached it inside with a small piece of 2 Sided Tape and then tied the tops closed. Then decorate and have fun!

Hope you like these!

Circle of Spring

Hello & Happy Wednesday!

Hope your all having a nice week so far!

Yesterday, I sat down at my stamp table to design a card for my customer for Easter.
I went thru all my Easter stamps and nothing really jumped out at me.
I then went thru my flower sets and found this set called Circle of Spring.
It's hardly seen ink in the last year and so a card was born!

I stamped my images in Memento Black and colored with Copic Markers in the colors of Pear Pizzazz and Sweet Sugarplum. I used a 1 inch strip of Sweet Sugarplum In Color DSP on each card and for the sentiment I stamped that in Memento Black and cut out with a small die from the Circle Nestibilities and layered it onto a piece of Sweet Sugarplum Glimmer Paper. I like the colors and that little pop of sparkle from the Glimmer Paper. A simple design to mass produce 10 cards which are very mail friendly too!

Circle of Spring Cards:

Stamps: Circle of Spring
Ink: Memento Black, Copic Markers (R83 & YG03)
Cardstock: Sweet Sugarplum, Neenah White, Sweet Sugarplum 12 x 12 In Color DSP Stack, Sweet Sugarplum Glimmer Paper
Accessories: Circle Nestibilities, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I purchased this set because it coordinated with the Wonderful Wreath Framelits that I have but today decided not to cut out each wreath since I needed to make 10 of these. I would have been cranking that Big Shot handle forever then! I will give it a go another day!

Hope you enjoyed my card today!

Tuesday Morning Sketches

Hello & Happy Tuesday!

It was a week ago today that we had the "big" snow storm that shut down most of the northern east coast. A week later our snow is almost melted and my spring bulbs are once again poking their heads out of the ground. I know spring can still give us some unsettled weather but my hope is that the nice weather will soon be on our doorsteps!

Today I am playing along with the new sketch this week for Tuesday Morning Sketches!

Here is the design...

And here is my take on it!

I always love a card with a tilted panel on it because it just gives it some interest!
I started out by coloring my Cherry Blossoms with Copics but I wasn't keen on the bold colors so I went with embossing the image in white embossing powder for a softer look and I love it!

Tuesday Morning Sketches Card:

Stamps: Indescribable Gift
Ink: Versamark
Cardstock: Calypso Coral, Crisp Cantaloupe, Whisper White, Best Year Ever DSP (SAB 2015)
Accessories: White Embossing Powder, Heat Gun, Crisp Cantaloupe Twine, White Pearls, Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

The inside says "Wishing you all the beautiful blessings of Easter".

Hope you enjoyed my card today!
