Hello Ladybug

 Hello & Happy Thursday!

Yesterday sure turned out to be a beautiful day!
The windows are open and we have a few days of sleeping with the windows open!
My kind of weather!!!

Today I have 2 cards to share that I made using the Hello Ladybug set. If you remember I made 2 cards recently with this set and sent them to my friends, Carol & Audrey. Last Friday I got a call from Audrey asking for 2 ladybug cards since she loved the one I sent her. This time I made them with Daffodil Delight and the last 2 were made with Pool Party.

I delivered her card order to her but I knew she wasn't going to be home so I put them between her front doors and she got them when she returned home. She called me and said she loved each & every card I made for her which always makes me happy! The wedding card, the baby shower card and the ladybug cards....she loved them all! I'm sure now she can rest easy knowing she got the wedding card in time for Saturday's wedding in New York.
She is such a special lady and i'm blessed to have her in my life!

Card Details:

Stamps: Hello Ladybug, Circle Sayings
Ink: Granny Apple Green, Real Red, Basic Black Archival (retired), Daffodil Delight
Cardstock: Real Red, Basic White, Daffodil Delight, Pattern Party DSP (retired)
Accessories: Basics 3D EF, Stylish Shapes Dies, Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Hello Ladybug is such a fun stamp set!
Isn't that little ladybug the sweetest?!

Abundant Beauty Decorative Masks

Good Morning & Happy Tuesday, Everyone!

I had a productive day at my stamp table yesterday afternoon!
I pulled out the new Abundant Beauty Decorative Masks that will be available September 6th to customers. These are in the 2023 Holiday Mini Catalog and they are on page 47. If you blink you will miss them at least that's what I did. I put in 2 preorders because I missed these on the first order. This set of masks has these beautiful sunflowers, leaves, snowflakes and a houndstooth mask. Perfect for Fall!
Today I am using the sunflowers.
Audrey requested a pack of cards with a cat on them. One Birthday, one Thank You and the rest plain. This is what a made for her...

The cat is from the Cheerful Basket Bundle that retired in May.
The Thank You card looks the same so I did not take a picture of it.

Cardstock: Pecan Pie, Basic White

Butterfly 3 Panel Card Set

 Hello & Happy Monday!

Hope you had a nice weekend! They go by so fast!

Today I have a set of cards to share with you that I made for Audrey.
She has been on a roll with requesting cards with butterflies and since I am still working my way thru a package of the retired Bijou Butterfly DSP, I pulled out a few sheets to see what matched. Then I found a cool tutorial from Patty Bennett on how to make a 3 panel card. I watched the video and that gave me the idea to use the 3 panels for a set of cards. This is what I made for her...

I've seen this style of card around but wasn't sure how to create it.
It's really easy once you get the hang of it. Hope you will give it a try!

Card Details:

Stamps: Irresistible Blooms
Ink: Bermuda Bay
Cardstock: Thick Basic White, Basic White, Bijou Butterfly DSP (retired)
Accessories: Stitched Nested Dies (retired), Brushed Brass Butterflies, Stampin Seal+

These came together so quickly!
I hope she will like them.
I like that each card is different but with the same design.
If your interested in learning how to make this style of card check out Patty's Stamping Spot.
She explains things nice & slow.

Today I am finally able to get back to my stamp table!!
The house is all straightened up and I don't have anything on my agenda! WooHoo!

Happy Thanksgiving

 Hello & Happy Sunday!

Hope your enjoying your weekend!
Yesterday was a day of rest with doing a bit of laundry.
We had Mr Shady over for the day while Kelsey worked a double shift. He is such a good boy, even took a nap with me in the afternoon. He is a changed dog since living with us....I just wish he did not shed so badly. The Vet says Jack Russell's are known for their heavy shedding.

Today I have another set of Thanksgiving cards to share with you!
This set uses last year's Painted Pheasant saying once again. Can you believe that their is no Thanksgiving saying in our catalogs?!  What's one to do?
I paired the saying with some beautiful new Fall paper that is in the Holiday Catalog called All About Autumn. It has such pretty real scenes and some Copper Foil added to the opposite side. I like it so much that I may have to order another pack of it!

Card Details:

Stamps: Painted Pheasant (retired)
Ink: Cajun Craze
Cardstock: Cajun Craze, Very Vanilla, All About Autumn DSP
Accessories: Exposed Brick 3D EF, Tailor Made Tags Dies, Copper & Natural Ribbon Combo Pack, Adhesive Backed Speckled Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Pretty Pumpkins Set

 Hello & Happy Saturday!

I hope your weekend is going well so far!
We made it to Sam's Club last evening and then did a quick trip thru Hobby Lobby. Oh I just love that store....so many cool things to see! Fall & Christmas is everywhere as soon as you walk thru the door. I picked up a ladder for the family room to hang our Baltimore Ravens blankets on and a Black & White Buffalo Check Foam Mat for in front of the kitchen sink.  I already have one and it's so comfy to stand on....makes your feet feel squishy! LOL

Not much happening here at the Aungst Pad today. Laundry awaits me.
Preseason football is on tonight and I hope I can stay awake to watch it.
Do you have any fun plans today?

I have a set of Thanksgiving cards to share with you today!
I keep a folder on my laptop of cards that I adore and I found a card on Pinterest made 2 years ago with the retired Pretty Pumpkins bundle that I cased. I wasn't too sure on a Soft Succulent pumpkin but these days you see pumpkins in all kinds of colors so I gave it a try!

I'm not sure who the original creator was as I already deleted the picture from my folder but I thank you for the inspiration! My case is a bit different than the original but basically has the same design. The pumpkin from the Pretty Pumpkin stamp set was stamped with Versamark and heat embossed with White Embossing Powder. Once it cooled down I diecut it with the Detailed Pumpkins Dies and popped it up on Dimensionals, I added a white twine bow with a drop of Tombow.  The DSP is Harvest Meadow that is long retired, too! The sentiment is from the Painted Pheasant that retired last year. Lots of retired stuff on this card but happy to use what's in my stash!

Card Details:

Stamps: Pretty Pumpkins (retired), Painted Pheasant (retired)
Ink: Soft Succulent (retired), Versamark, White Embossing Powder
Cardstock: Soft Succulent, Basic White, Harvest Meadow DSP (retired)
Accessories: Detailed Pumpkins Dies (retired), Soft Succulent In Color Dots (retired), Heat Gun, White Twine, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Soft Succulent was an In Color for the last 2 years and they retired it in May. I wish this color would have stayed as it's a soft soothing color. I made sure I stocked up on the cardstock before it sold out because I have lots of different DSP's to use it with.

That is all for me today!

Cottage Wreath

 Hello & Happy Fri-YAY!

We've made it to the weekend!
My back & my left hip is still giving me a bit of grief this morning. I'm sure the ac being on last night did not help my arthritis but hopefully in a few days I will get back to feeling better. The last week has been a challenge on my back with helping to lift furniture and boxes and as careful as I was, I am still feeling the strain.
Advil, Ben Gay & my heating pad all have become my friends!

Today I have a monochromatic card to share with you using the Cottage Wreath set. It is probably my most favorite stamp set because I love how versatile this set is. It can be used at anytime of the year! With the summer winding down and being reminded that Fall is around the corner I decided to make this a card for Fall.

I am really missing my Soft Suede color since SU! retired it in May. I resorted to pulling out Pecan Pie which replaced it and so far I like it! My wreath was stamped in Pecan Pie and I added a bow that was diecut from the Country Wreath Dies. Then I stamped the trio of leaves in Crushed Curry, Cherry Cobbler & Pumpkin Pie and added them to my sentiment with a Linen Thread bow. Was pleased with how it turned out but I think it needs some sparkle! Before I mail it out I just might add some clear Rhinestones.

Card Details:

Stamps: Cottage Wreath
Ink: Pecan Pie, Pumpkin Pie, Crushed Curry, Cherry Cobbler
Cardstock: Pecan Pie, Basic White, Glorious Gingham DSP
Accessories: Stylish Shapes Dies, Country Wreath Dies, Linen Thread, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Another day of rest is ahead for me then this evening a trip to Sam's Club.
Shawn just might have to put me in a seated cart to wheel me around! LOL Picture that!

Pick of the Patch

 Good Morning & Happy Thursday!

I am happy to say that my entire house is back to pre-Kelsey status!
I cleaned behind & under every nook & cranny to get rid of the dog hair. It was tedious and I thought to myself a couple of times that this job is never going to get done.
Today I am using the Ben Gay & heating pad to get some relief from my screaming back. The 3 days of moving Kelsey and my 4 day cleaning marathon is over!

Today I have the cutest set of Halloween cards to share with you!
This set uses the Pick of the Patch bundle from the new 2023 Holiday Catalog...

Card Details:

Stamps: Pick of the Patch
Ink: Pumpkin Pie, Cajun Craze, Basic Black Archival (retired)
Cardstock: Basic Black, Basic White, Them Bones DSP
Accessories: Pick of the Patch Builder Punch, Stylish Shapes Dies, Circle Layering Framelits, (retired), Adhesive Backed Stars (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This is such an adorable set and the builder punch makes it so easy to stamp your pumpkins then punch!
There are 3 Halloween stamp sets this year. I've not had a chance to play with the other 2 yet but soon! Can you believe that Halloween is about 2 months away?!
This year is flying by so quickly, isn't it?!

With Sympathy

 Hello & Happy Wednesday!

Halfway thru the week and I've got my downstairs today to clean which won't be too bad since I already did the storage room. The upstairs is completely done! YAY!
I told Ryan that tomorrow I won't be able to get out of bed! I hurt from head to toe but I am pushing forward to get it done.

Today I have another quick & easy set of cards to share with you. I always keep a pack of sympathy on my card rack because I know they are probably my most asked for occasion. This set I made with the sentiment from the retired Gingko Branch stamp set and some retired Symbols of Fortune DSP.

On this set I left the DSP do all the work and added a strip of Basic White cardstock with my stamped sentiment on. I added a Soft Succulent bow and 2 Black Classic Matte Dots and called them done.

Card Details:

Stamps: Gingko Branch (retired)
Ink: Basic Black Archival
Cardstock: Basic White, Symbols of Fortune DSP (retired)
Accessories: Classic Matte Dots, Soft Succulent Ribbon (retired), Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Sweet Ice Cream

 Hello & Happy Tuesday!

I'm slowly getting my house put back together and I hope today to finish the upstairs.
Last night we stayed up to watch the Baltimore Ravens 2nd preseason game which they lost by 1 point to the Washington Commanders. I did not even make it to half time and I headed to bed.
Today I have another set of cards to share with you that I also put on the card rack For Sale.
This uses the retired Sweet Ice Cream stamp set. I realized I have a good bit of the Sweet Ice Cream Corner DSP left so I got busy and made this set of cards...

Card Details:

Stamps: Sweet Ice Cream
Ink: Cinnamon Cider
Cardstock: Cinnamon Cider, Basic White, Sweet Ice Cream Corner DSP (retired)
Accessories: Cinnamon Cider In Color Dots (retired), Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This set I kept very simple and took about 45 minutes to put together!
They are also very mail friendly as nothing is popped up.

Who would not want to receive a birthday card with ice cream cones on?!
I know ice cream is my favorite sweet treat!

My thoughts today...

It sure is!

I guess I better get my butt in gear so I can finish up today!
My head is saying yes, let's do this but my body is saying....go back to bed! LOL

Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!
