Retiring Stamp Day #30

 Hello & Happy Thursday!

I believe that old man winter has made his return here in the Northeast!
Burrr! It's looking cool for the next few days and then hopefully spring will be back next week. I'm hoping soon so we can get the bikes out and get back to riding. It's been several months....I hope I did not forget how to ride a bike!

It's day #30 of sharing a retiring Stampin Up! stamp set.
I am using the Banner Year set on page 95 of the Stampin Up! Annual Catalog.
This set is a stand alone set that has no coordinating punch or dies and it is one I have loved over the last 2 years! I used it quite a bit!

I made this one a cute Fall card using some retiring Bumble Bee & Cinnamon Cider inks, cardstocks, papers and embellishments!

Card Details:

Stamps: Banner Year
Ink: Bumble Bee, Cinnamon Cider, Pumpkin Pie
Cardstock: Cinnamon Cider, Basic White, Bumble Bee DSP (retired)
Accessories: Tasteful Textile 3D EF, Circle Layering Framelits, Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Cinnamon Cider Ribbon (retired), Bumble Bee Enamel Dots (retired), Linen Thread, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This set will most likely stay within my reach because I love how versatile that is it!

Banner Year Card

 Hello & Happy Saturday!

A rainy day is on tap here today which will make for a good day to bake cookies!
I mixed up 5 different kinds of cookies on Thursday and put in the fridge.
My favorite being my Grandma Fisher's Sugar Cakes!
I remember her making them for me all the time as a little girl and i'm so thankful that she sent me the recipe before she passed away. I don't make cookies all that much anymore since my kids are grown but Kelsey specifically asked for these.

So, before my day gets crazy I wanted to share card #3 from last Saturday's Stamp Day w/ Friends get together. This one uses the Banner Year set which came out in last year's Holiday Mini Catalog and carried over into the Annual Catalog this year!

Another quick & simple card with lots of wonderful texture and pretty papers!
I used the retired Stampin Up! Holly EF from many years ago.
The paper is the Heartwarming Hugs DSP which also came out last year and carried over this year! (I really love that Stampin Up! is doing this more & more)
The sentiment panel is diecut from the Pierced Blooms Dies.
We stamped our holly image and Be Merry saying from the Banner Year set.
Lastly, we added the beautiful Real Red Sheer bow and some Red Rhinestones for sparkle.

Card Details:

Stamps: Banner Year
Ink: Real Red, Mossy Meadow
Cardstock: Real Red, Basic White, Heartwarming Hugs DSP
Accessories: Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Pierced Blooms Dies, Holly EF (retired), Real Red Sheer Ribbon, Red Rhinestones, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

How many of you have your Christmas cards addressed and mailed?
I am always late in getting mine out the door!

Thanksgiving Card Fun Fold

 Hello & Happy Thursday!

Yesterday we had our first frost of the season and it looked like it snowed!
It was short lived once the sun came up!
I had a busy day cleaning my downstairs, doing laundry and getting ready for Stamp Day w/ Friends on Saturday morning! The card kits are ready all I have to do is put stamps on the blocks and get my table ready!

Today I have a Fall/Thanksgiving card to share that I made with a mish mash of different things. It is a fun fold but I am not sure of the name.

I started out with a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock measuring 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.
Then a layer of Harvest Meadow DSP.
Next I took of piece of Crumb Cake cardstock measuring 8 1/4 x 4.
I scored it at 2 3/4 and again at 5 1/2.
I made sure to use my bone folder on each score line so it lays flat.
I then added more of the same DSP to the front and middle sections.
The last panel I added Basic White cardstock.
I know the colors of my leaves are a bit different but I pulled the colors from the package of Harvest Meadow DSP.
Once I had that section finished I adhered it to the middle of my card front.
My leaves were stamped with the Love of Leaves stamp set and diecut with the coordinating Stitched Leaves Dies.
My sentiment was stamped with Misty Moonlight ink using the retired Lighthearted Leaves stamp set. It was diecut then with the Circle Layering Framelits.
The inside saying comes from the Banner Year stamp set which is a favorite!

It was fun to create something different!
Hope you like!

Card Details:

Stamps: Love of Leaves, Lighthearted Leaves (retired), Banner Year
Ink: Misty Moonlight, Cajun Craze, Crumb Cake, Bumble Bee
Cardstock: Crumb Cake, Basic White, Misty Moonlight, Harvest Meadow DSP
Accessories: Stitched Leaves Dies, Circle Layering Framelits, Champagne Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Pretty Pumpkins Card

 Hello & Happy Saturday!

Boy, did it ever rain yesterday!
It poured pretty much all day and the winds were just as bad!
Today is foggy, cloudy and still spritzing out. I am off for a haircut at noon then gotta grab a few things at the store. Other than that not much else is on the agenda.

I stamped most of the afternoon yesterday working ahead on Christmas treats.
Our local Giant grocery store had Christmas candy out already so I grabbed a few bags to get started. I am trying to work ahead while I have no card orders.

I am sharing a pretty card made for Thanksgiving.
I know, we are 1 day away from Halloween but as a crafter I need to move on to the next holiday so I don't get too far behind. I find if I work ahead I am not sitting at my stamp table the day before Christmas working on things.
Anyways, this card today is made using the Pretty Pumpkins Bundle.
It's gorgeous!

I told you I was hooked on this style of card and that there will be more in the future! LOL

Card Details:

Stamps: Pretty Pumpkins, Banner Year
Ink: Memento Black, Pumpkin Pie, Stampin Blends- Granny Apple Green & Pumpkin Pie
Cardstock: Pumpkin Pie, Basic White, Regals DSP- Pumpkin Pie
Accessories: Detailed Pumpkins Dies, Circle Layering Framelits, Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Timeworn Type 3D EF, Gold Twine, Gold Rhinestones (Michael's), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

The more I use this bundle the more I really like it!

Halloween Nonpareils

 Hello & Happy Sunday Afternoon!

Hope your having a nice relaxing weekend!
It's been anything but here but we did get to relax this afternoon watching the football game! Phew, that one was a nail biter for sure! Shawn had to get up and walk away as he could not watch the last minute!
Our team won though so it was all good!

I said in my last post that I got a new camera but sadly it does not come with the cord that you use to upload your pictures onto your computer. It's going back to the store tomorrow! Not sure what I am gonna do but for now I will use my phone.

I have another sweet treat to share today now that I was able to take more pictures with my phone.

Last week I found the Halloween Nonpareils at my local grocery store and thought, how cool would they be decorated for Halloween?!
Something different for sure and I bought 2 small containers!
I filled my 3x5 Cello Bags with about 16 candies and then created a topper for them. I tried to keep them simple! LOL

My topper is made from Pumpkin Pie cardstock measuring 3 1/4 x 4 and scored at 2 inches. I added some of that pretty Plaid Tidings DSP from last year. I have one piece of this DSP left which makes me sad....it's so pretty in these colors (and matched my nonpareils perfectly!)!
Then I stapled my topper onto my cello bags and looked for some stamps to decorate them!
I pulled out my Frightful Tags Dies and got to work.
Once I diecut the main panel I stamped it with a pumpkin from the Banner Year stamp set. I love this set! My pumpkin was stamped in Pumpkin Pie ink then I used Soft Suede to stamp the stem & leaf.
Next I used my Stamparatus to stamp my saying from the Frightfully Cute stamp set. I have a bunch of those labels diecut ahead of time and I have a template ready to use it in my Stamparatus to make it quick & easy! I attached my pumpkin panel with Multipurpose Liquid Glue then took my sentiment and popped it up with Mini Dimensionals. Of course, once they were done I had to add a Champagne Rhinestone to each and a Daffodil Delight bow made with various retired ribbons!

I just love these....and the candies!

Halloween Project:

Stamps: Banner Year, Frightfully Cute
Ink: Pumpkin Pie, Soft Suede
Cardstock: Pumpkin Pie, Basic White, Plaid Tidings DSP (retired)
Accessories: Frightful Tags Dies, Stamparatus, Champagne Rhinestones, Glue Dots, Mini Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Hope you like these!
I'll be back tomorrow with another fun treat so stay tuned!

Stitched Leaves Thanksgiving

 Hello & Happy Sunday!

A rainy morning here in PA again today thanks to Tropical Storm Henri off the coast of New Jersey. We are getting some bands of rain off & on but so far it's been a nice rain.

Today I have a pretty Thanksgiving card to share using a mix of products.

I took my Thick Whisper White cardbase and covered it with a piece of Early Espresso DSP that is retired. Then a layer of Basic White cardstock that I diecut with the Stitched Rectangle Framelits then embossed with my favorite Tasteful Textile 3D EF. Then I added my pretty Stitched Leaves (love these!). I then added my sentiment that was stamped in Early Espresso ink and diecut with the Stitched Rectangle Framelits. And of course, I had to fancy up my card with some Metallic Gold Pearls & Gold Cord bow and called it done!
Another pretty Thanksgiving card ready to send out this year!

Card Details:

Stamps: Banner Year
Ink: Early Espresso
Cardstock: Thick Whisper White, Basic White, Early Espresso DSP (retired), Brushed Metallic Cardstock
Accessories: Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Tasteful Textile 3D EF, Stitched Leaves Dies, Gold Cord, Gold Metallic Pearls, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I was thrilled to see that the Brushed Metallic cardstock carried over this year since I had almost a full package of it left from last year.
I decided to take those beautiful Stitched Leaves Dies and cut into some of it!
The Happy Thanksgiving sentiment comes from the Banner Year stamp set which also carried over this year!
I love that Stampin Up! is doing keeping stamp sets around longer!

Banner Year Halloween

 Hello & Happy Sunday!

Hope your having a nice weekend!
Our weather today had cooled off allowing us to open the windows and let the fresh air in! I am taking advantage of it because tomorrow we are back to the muggies.

Yesterday I stamped most of the day.
I worked on some Halloween treats and then I moved on to a few cards I keep in my favorites folder to case at a later date.
I had a card saved by Dawn Olchefske that I wanted to case and then I made a few changes to it. Thanks Dawn for your inspiration!

Here is my card...

Banner Year stamp set came out last year (and it's still available in Annual Stampin Up! catalog!) and it is one of those great stamp sets that has images in for several different holidays. For this card I used the bat, the spider web & the jack o lantern.
My sentiment comes from the Frightfully Cute stamp set which is new this year.
And again, that Buffalo Check ribbon which is my favorite!
The plaid paper is from the Plaid Tidings DSP from last year as well.
I had 4 packs of this paper so I am trying to use it up!

Card Details:

Stamps: Banner Year, Frightfully Cute
Ink: Memento Black, Basic Gray, Pumpkin Pie
Cardstock: Basic Black, Pumpkin Pie, Basic White, Plaid Tidings DSP (retired)
Accessories: Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Frightful Tags Dies, Rhinestones, Buffalo Check Ribbon, Glue Dots, Mini Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Another Halloween card on my pile to send out this year!
I'm getting there slowly but surely!

Thanksgiving Treat Boxes

Happy Friday!

Just wanted to share a little Thanksgiving treat I made.
This box is actually from a retired Paper Pumpkin Kit from maybe 2017.

I did a belly band around it using some Gilded Autumn Specialty DSP and some Embroidered Ribbon.
I stamped my sentiment from the Banner Year stamp set and flagged each end with a retired Banner Punch.
I popped that on with Dimensionals and tucked a diecut Gold Foiled leaf from the Gathered Leaves Dies under the sentiment.
I made these boxes back in July and just recently filled them with Reese's Peanut Butter Miniatures.
A sweet little treat to put at each person's table setting for Thanksgiving.

BOO Sanitizer Box

 Hello & Happy Thursday!

A very rainy day is on tap here in PA today!
We are getting the heavy but much needed rain from Zeta.
It's been raining since 2:30 this morning!

Today I have another Halloween project to share.
This is another hand sanitizer box I made after finding a bunch of old hand sanitizers in a drawer.
I have not had any luck finding Halloween sanitizers this year, only hand soaps!

Project Details:

Stamps: Banner Year
Ink: Pumpkin Pie, Memento Black, Granny Apple Green
Cardstock: Pumpkin Pie, Mango Melody, Whisper White, Plaid Tidings DSP
Accessories: Stitched Shaped Framelits, Circle Layering Framelits, Pumpkin Pie Cotton Ribbon (retired), Champagne Rhinestones, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue
