2025 Year in Review

 Hello & Happy Wednesday, Friends!

It is New Year's Eve! It's unreal how fast time goes by!

It's a cold morning here in Pennsylvania and I am doing some laundry. We have no plans for ringing in the new year as we usually are asleep way before midnight. We had our fun in our younger days ringing in the new year.

Every year I share some of my favorite cards & projects that I made that year. Some months it's hard to choose just a few! LOL Sit back & relax and check out my favorites!

The last day of August we lost Mr. Shady and to this day it's still a tough loss.

Mid September we welcomed a new member to the Aungst family. Meet Sushi. 

He is a Jack Russell puppy that Kelsey adopted. He will never take Mr. Shady's place in our hearts but he's been a real joy in learning his personality and his little barks. He looks alot like Mr. Shady but is very different in many ways.

There are so many more projects I would like to have shared here but these were my top favorites! I hope you have enjoyed seeing them again. 

I would like to take a minute to "Thank You" all for your support and comments throughout the years! It has meant the world to me and gave me the motivation I needed to stay crafty.

Life Update:

 Hello & Happy Thursday.

I know your probably wondering where I have been that I haven't updated in a bit.

I have some sad news to share with you.

Last Sunday we lost our Mr. Shady to cancer. It's been so hard to see Kelsey go thru the motions of losing the one thing that has matter most to her. That little dog had a huge impact on so many people and we are very heartbroken. 

She has had him to the Vet multiple times over the last 2 months and only just found out last Friday that is was cancer. 2 days later things took a turn for the worst. 

He was loved beyond measure and knew it right up till his last breath. 

Rest easy little guy and know how much you were loved and will forever be missed.

I'm going to take a break for a bit and get myself together. 

When I get back to feeling more like myself, I will be back to posting since I do have lots of things to share. My heart just isn't there yet.

 Good Morning & Happy Tuesday, Friends!

Hope your week is off to a great start!

Got all my chores done yesterday then Kelsey & Mr Shady came over after his Vet appointment. Seems he has something going on that they are waiting on blood test results for answers. He was so excited when Shawn walked thru the door last evening which would make you think that nothing was going on with him. My heart is sad thinking about what could possibly be going on with him and i'm praying for some good news!! He by all means is not my dog but he's lived here with us and then of course, you get attached to them. I only want what's best for him and Kelsey will tell you that advocate for him all the time! Mr Shady comes first NO MATTER WHAT! Anyways, I will keep you posted and ask for thoughts & prayers for him.

Today I have a set of cards to share that I made for Audrey. I will be delivering these to her this evening and cannot wait to see her reaction. She is like a kid in a candy store when she gets her card orders each month! You know she loves her cards and loves sending a bit of happy mail to her friends & family each & every day! I wish more people could be like her but the world has changed so much in recent years. Anyways, this set of cards does not have a drop of stamping on them but they are just so stinkin sweet!

Oh, this set of cards just makes me smile! Love the colors, too!

I know everything on my card is pretty much retired but if your a regular visitor here you know I use my retired stuff all the time, probably more so than the new stuff. At some point it's all going to be retired and it's in my stash so i'm going to use it. I'm sure all of us paper crafters are in the same boat! LOL
