Framed Florets Birthday

 Hello & Happy Friday!

We are slowly getting better around here!
We got all the Christmas decorations down and put away while we are in isolation.
I am hoping today to get to my stamp table because I have lots of stuff waiting on me.
Covid has been like a head cold for Ryan & I and we are feeling a bit better everyday.
We are still taking Dayquil & Nyquil and getting plenty of rest & fluids.
Sunday we will test again to see if we are negative. I'm so ready to get out of the house!

I want to share a card I made back in November using the new Framed Florets Bundle.

Those pretty flowers were diecut with the Framed Florets Dies from the Fitting Florets DSP.
My Polished Pink strip was embossed with the retired Tasteful Textile 3D EF. It's my favorite! I used some retired Polished Pink In Color Jewels for some sparkle!

Card Details:

Stamps: Framed Florets
Ink: Polished Pink
Cardstock: Polished Pink, Basic White, Fitting Florets DSP
Accessories: Tasteful Textile 3D EF (retired), Framed Florets Dies, Polished Pink In Color Jewels (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

You'll be seeing more of this bundle in the new year since it is in the NEW January-April Mini Catalog!

I'll be back tomorrow to share my 2022 Year In Review.
I look forward to sharing my favorites with you!
See you then!

A Covid Christmas

 Well, today it happened!
Ryan & myself tested positive for Covid.
Shawn is probably about done with his isolation but he said this has really kicked his butt of energy and to be honest, I feel the same way! I slept most of the day.
Thankfully we all had our shots so we know it could be worse.
Mine is just a sore throat, stuffy, runny nose, sneezing and an odd cough with a headache.
Christmas dinner tasted like much of nothing. Ryan said he could still taste it.
Kelsey is the only one who hasn't had a positive test.

I may try to get back one day this week to share some cards but depending on how I feel we'll see. If I don't get back please have a wonderful & blessed New Year and stay safe!

Merry Christmas!

Hello & Happy Sunday!

Christmas day has finally arrived!!
I am under the weather with a head cold and hoping that this will subside soon.
Our Christmas day will be low keyed since Shawn is still in isolation and I am under the weather. I'm sure our 5 degree weather outside isn't helping any of this.
Opening gifts and having our turkey dinner will still happen but I think this mama will be resting as much as possible. Tomorrow Shawn will test again so fingers crossed he can get out of isolation. I will test again today just to be on the safe side but so far the last 4 days I have been negative. What a Christmas!

Enjoy your day and Merry Christmas!!

Cute Gift Card Holder

Hello & Happy Christmas Eve, Everyone!

I am in slow mode today after waking up with a snoot full.
My sinuses are getting the best of me.
I just hope it does not turn into another sinus infection that started the who ordeal back in August/September when I was sick for about 6-8 weeks.
I did test again this morning and for 4 days in a row I tested negative.
Shawn on the other hand is feeling pretty good. Still has a little bit of a cough but the body aches have subsided. I'm glad he's starting to feel good!

Today I have one last Christmas project to share that I made last week when Marisa over at Kitchen Table Stamped shared on how she made these quick & cute gift card holders.
Here is the link if your interested in making one....Gift Card Holder

My Gift Card closes with the help of those small round magnets that I have hidden under the snowflake on the front and one under the panel where the gift card slides in at. The ones I have are super flat and did not affect the gift card sliding in or out.

Project Details:

Stamps: Framed & Festive, Christmas To Remember
Ink: Evening Evergreen
Cardstock: Soft Succulent, Basic White, Gold Foil Paper, Lights Aglow DSP
Accessories: Seasonal Layers Dies, Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Twinkling Lights Dies, Circle Punch (retired), Tailor Made Tags Dies, Gold Cord, Gold Swirls (retired), Magnetic Buttons, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I hope when I can get back to my stamp table to make more of these!
They are a nice size and quick to make.

Well, I am off to the kitchen to get my meatballs started and the cheese tray.
I have my stuffing made with the help of Shawn telling me how to make it.
He is the one who usually makes the stuffing & turkey but this year it will be all up to me.
How are you spending your Christmas Eve?
I hope to watch some other movies tonight that are not Hallmark and get a good nights sleep!

Ring In The New!

 Hello & Happy Fri-YAY!

All is well here at the Aungst Residence.
Shawn did a video call with his doctor yesterday and they sent a prescription in for Paxlovid for his Covid. His cough is annoying if anything but he is having horrible body aches. He had a slight fever yesterday but nothing very high. I hope he gets to feeling better soon. He hates it downstairs by himself but he knows he has to do what he has to do so Ryan does not pick it up. I think with the crazy weather we are dealing with that we all have a bit of a cold/sinus thing going on. Kelsey & I keep testing negative.

So today I have a set of cards I made to sell but I think I am gonna keep them for myself to send out since I am not able to be at my stamp table to make any.
I made these cards for New Years with several retired products.

Card Details:

Stamps: Ring In The New (retired)
Ink: Shaded Spruce
Cardstock: Shaded Spruce, Basic White, Gold Foil Paper, Silver & Gold DSP (SAB 22)
Accessories: Stylish Shapes Dies, Circle Layering Framelits, Gold Snowflake Doilies (retired), Holiday Rhinestones (retired), Gold Cord, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Illuminated Christmas Card

 Hello & Happy Thursday!

Today we are in for some wintry weather and i'm glad that my hubby is home.
He is on vacation all next week but came home from work early yesterday after testing positive for Covid. I knew he wasn't feeling well but just suspected a cold.
He is isolating downstairs in the family room where there is a full bathroom but that is also where my stamp room is. When he came home I was working at my stamp table on my 2023 Calendars and I quickly put a mask on to finish up while he was on the couch. He is now in the "mask zone" down there! Anyone who goes downstairs has to wear a mask! My biggest concern is Ryan getting it because i'm not sure how well he'd fair with Covid. I got out the Lysol wipes & Disinfectant spray and told the kids to make sure they wash their hands all the time!
What a way to start the Christmas holiday!

My card I am sharing today was one of the cards that Audrey requested.
She wanted the 3 Kings on it and no saying.

Card Details:

Stamps: Illuminated Christmas (retired)
Ink: Versamark
Cardstock: Cherry Cobbler, Basic White, Gold Foil Paper, Lights Aglow DSP
Accessories: Circle Layering Framelits, Gold Shimmer Ribbon, Heat Gun, Gold Embossing Powder, Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I love the Cherry Cobbler and Gold together, don't you?
