You're Such A Blessing

 Hello & Happy Sunday!

I hope your enjoying your weekend!
I have been very busy the last few days and I said today I was not doing anything except watching football. I need a down day to recoop!
Most likely it will be a pj day, too!

My Stamp Day w/ Friends was so fun yesterday and it is always great seeing my friends!
Afterwards Kelsey came over, we ate then took a run to York to Home Goods, Hobby Lobby & At Home. It surprised me how busy all the stores were. Lots out buying Christmas items. We got a bunch of holiday stuff, too!
On the way home Shawn stopped at the ice cream place and got us all a treat but let me say....I was froze by the time I finished my ice cream sundae and it did not help that it was 42 degrees out! Burrrr
It was an awesome day and i'm glad I got to spend it with my dear friends, hubby & daughter!

Today I am going to share a link for the tutorial for the Thanksgiving Totes that I made yesterday. I hope you get a chance to try and make them!

This is the yummy treat I have for today....

I made these with a bunch of acetate boxes I had on hand that came from L&L Stamps in Ephrata, PA. You could easily make these with any size acetate box.
I filled them with Hershey Kisses and wrapped DSP around it.
The tag was made with the Stitched Nested Dies.

Project Details:

Stamps: Little Delights
Ink: Mint Macaron, Early Espresso
Cardstock: Very Vanilla, Mint Macaron, Cajun Craze, Gold Foil Paper, Gilded Autumn DSP (retired)
Accessories: Acetate Box, Gathered Leaves Dies (retired), Stitched Nested Dies, Copper Embellishments (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

3D Challenge w/ Vicki Day!

 Hello & Happy Saturday!

Today is the day that my friend, Vicki & I share our projects for the 3D Challenge.
Every other Saturday we share something other than a card.
Last time you may remember I shared the Sunflower Ghiradelli Chocolate in the Little Treat Boxes.
They were so fun!
But this week I have another fun treat to share!!
This one is for Halloween!
Take a look...

One evening we were grocery shopping at our local store and I spotted these Witch's Brew Kit Kats!
I grab 2 bags and thought I could design something around them or the colors!
Isn't it funny how a crafter's mind thinks?! LOL
So, I looked thru my box of cello bags & acetate boxes.
I found a pack of the 3 1/8 X 3 1/8 Acetate Boxes that Stampin Up! now carries to package the little 3X3 cards in. It was a light bulb moment when I realized I could fit the fun & colorful Kit Kats in them!

I matched up my witch with the witch in the Ghoulish Goodies stamp set and being that we do not have any pretty Halloween papers I pulled out the Brights pack of DSP and decided to use the Granny Apple Green polka dots. I diecut a Granny Apple Green Scalloped Square then a Granny Apple Green DSP Square and adhered it to the Acetate Box with 2 Sided Tape.
Next I cut a label from the Tasteful Labels Dies in Pumpkin Pie and layered that on my Granny Apple Green base.
Next I stamped the witch in Gorgeous Grape and added the sentiment in Granny Apple Green right under it. I diecut them out with the largest circle from the Layering Circle Framelits. I then layered that on a Gorgeous Grape Scalloped Circle and adhered it with Dimensionals,
Lastly, I had to bling it up with some Rhinestones & the beautiful Black Glittered Ribbon bow!
Each box contains 4 Witch's Brew Kit Kats which are pretty yummy!

Project Details:

Stamps: Ghoulish Goodies
Ink: Granny Apple Green, Gorgeous Grape
Cardstock: Granny Apple Green, Gorgeous Grape, Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White, Granny Apple Green DSP
Accessories: Square & Circle Layering Framelits, Tasteful Labels Dies, 3 1/8 X 3 1/8 Acetate Boxes, Black Glittered Ribbon, Rhinestones, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, 2 Sided Tape, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I ended up making 8 of these for Halloween!
I love them....hope you do too!

So, now it's time to head over to Vicki's blog to check out her 3D project this week!
I know it's going to be fabulous...just like her!

Hello & Happy Sunday!

I made up a few clear boxes for spring!

I used DSP from the English Garden pack and added a butterfly from the Butterflies Thinlits. My sentiment comes from the Crazy About You set. I popped up the butterfly and added a few pearls on it. My box is filled with Hershey Kisses.

Happy Spring Clear Boxes:

Stamps: Crazy About You (sentiment)
Ink: Hello Honey
Cardstock: Hello Honey, Blushing Bride, Whisper White, English Garden DSP
Accessories: Butterflies Thinlits, Circle Punches, White Pearls, Dimensionals, Tombow Liquid

I love these boxes but sadly this here is last of the clear boxes from my stash.

That's all for today!

Hershey Hugs Box

Hello & Happy Sunday, Everyone!

Hope your enjoying a nice Sunday!

I took the day off from any thing related to my craft show. My hands are bothering me and my back isn't happy either. Taking advantage of a relaxing day watching football and enjoying my family & dear doggies!

Today I wanted to show you a cute treat box that I made for my shows. I just love these!
I purchased the boxes at L&L Rubber Stamps in Ephrata, PA. and filled them with Hershey Hugs. I wrapped them with Merry Moments DSP and a stamped & punched out a tree from the Festival of Trees stamp set & matching punch. I love the stamp sets that have a matching punch because it makes things so much easier! I added a sentiment and a little red bow to finish them. I made 20 of these for my show next Saturday. I am just about ready for it. Just need to price my card sets and get the card rack ready. I will be SO relieved when it's all done and I can breathe....

That's all for me today!
Thanks for stopping by & have a wonderful day!

Halloween Boxes for my Challenge

Hello & Happy Friday!

This time it was my turn to come up with a challenge that my dear friend, Vicki & I have been throwing at each other the last few months.

Last month I sent Vicki a card with 3 little clear boxes in and I told her my challenge was to decorate them for her favorite holiday, Halloween!

A few days later I received word from Vicki that the challenge was on!

Here are my 3 boxes:

This box uses the new Sweet Hauntings stamp set in the Holiday Mini. I added a Candy Corn that I picked up at Michael's last year. The paper is from the Happy Hauntings DSP. My twine is the thick Very Vanilla from the main SU catty. I filled this box with Candy Corn M&M's!

This box I used the Fall Fest stamp set & matching Framelits. The sentiment is from For All Things set. The paper is from an old pack of SU paper called Halloween Night DSP. My ribbon is retired. It is the 1/8 Crushed Curry Taffeta Ribbon. My sentiment was punched with the Washi Label Punch. I filled this box with Caramel Hershey Kisses! Yum!

This box I used a sentiment from a Hero Arts set that i've had a long time. The paper is from the Happy Hauntings DSP (and I really love this ghost design). The black circle is from the new Black Glimmer paper and let me say how much I love this paper! My little ghost is a glittery foam sticker that was in my stash. My twine is Tangelo Twist from this past SaleABration. I filled this box with 2 Reese's Peanut Butter Cups that are orange and they say BOO on them!

I'm pleased with all 3 clear boxes!

I cannot wait to see Vicki's boxes! Here is the link to her blog so you can go check hers out & let her some love! I know her's will be awesome! She loves Halloween!

*** ETA: The clear boxes came from L&L Stamps in Ephrata, PA. ***

I also wanted to apologize for the lack of posts lately.
I went last Friday for my Branch Block diagnostic test. I had 6 needles in my lower back. They numbed my facet joints to see how long I stayed pain free. Once the numbing medicine wore off I was in major pain up until yesterday. I was miserable the last few days. I did not hear back from the pain management doctor on whether or not i'm having my nerves burned (RFA) or the recommendation of surgery. I will let you know when I know but now that my major pain has subsided I hope to be back to posting on a regular basis!

That's all for me today!
Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!

Decorated Clear Boxes

Hello & Happy Friday!!!

TGIF!!!!

Such a lovely morning here in PA! I sure wish it'd stay this way but i'm sure by days end the humidity will be here. That's ok though, I will hang out this weekend in my stamp room and work on craft show items!

Yesterday the wheelchair people were here. We thought Ryan was getting a new chair but it turned out that insurance would not cover a new one so they ordered parts for his one chair. Turns out that it's quite the nightmare. The chair they bought parts for is the chair he got back in 2008 and it's too wide to fit through the doorways and too wide to even turn around in the bathroom. His knuckles got scrapped up trying to get into the bedroom & bathroom. This was addressed at the meeting that he needed a chair that was not so wide ( he only weighs 75 pounds at most so he doesn't need something really wide). Also he was to have longer arm pads for more support, nodda. The back piece & head support are very nice BUT it's too far forward and has him sitting almost leaning forward. Not sure what he will do about it but once Shawn seen it....they did some rearranging of things. Now let's go back to maybe his Kindergarten year when he received his first wheelchair. He still uses this one to this day, the only issue is, there is no back or head support. Shawn said he will make some changes and see if he can put the back piece over onto the very old chair. Ryan has used this chair hard since his kindergarten days and he knows how to maneuver it and get around good with it. Hopefully Shawn can make some adjustments and get it where Ryan needs it to be. Stay tuned for details on that!

So, while the wheelchair people were here yesterday I hung out downstairs with the 2 dogs so the dogs did not bother the people. I know Bailee would have licked them to death! LOL I worked on an adorable treat for Fall. Tell me what you think??

ETA:

Here are pictures of the box that were requested.

I found the clear boxes at a local store and filled them with some Caramel Hershey Kisses. I wrapped them with Color Me Autumn DSP from last year. My leaves are cut from the Autumn Accents Bigz Die that is also retired. I only got them when they retired last year so you will probably see me using alot of retired stuff for Fall. I embossed my leaves with the Woodgrain Embossing Folder. It really gives them some interest. I tied them all together with some Crushed Curry Twine and attached to my oval tag. I added an orange rhinestone to my oval and attached my tag with dimensionals. I love these!! A note to myself....I NEED to get more of these adorable boxes! I can see holiday ones decorated for a nice little gift. They would also accommodate a gift card inside as well!!! These would be great for a nice table place setting, too! The possibilities could be endless!

Hello Fall Boxes:

Stamps: For All Things
Ink: Soft Suede
Cardstock: Whisper White, Soft Suede, Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry, Mossy Meadow, Color Me Autumn DSP
Accessories: Oval & Scallop Oval Punches, Autumn Accents Bigz Die, Crushed Curry Twine, Rhinestone, Dimensionals, Tombow Liquid Glue

That's all for today!
Thanks for stopping by & have a great weekend!
