Uneasy Days Ahead....

Hello Everyone!
I have nothing to post here on this late evening update. Things have been busy around the Aungst house. We found out on Monday that we will be moving to Joplin, Missouri sometime in the next 6 weeks for Shawn's job. It is all happening so quickly and I know Kelsey & I are not handling it very well. If your not a Facebook fan i'll fill you in as to what we would like to do. Since Kelsey is now a senior and getting ready to enter her last year of high school we are waiting to see what will happen with our house & how quickly it will sell and then check into getting an apartment in the area for the next 9 months until she graduates. Before all this happened we decided to take in Kelsey's best friend, Kerri, whom lost her mom last year to cancer. Her grandmother has been raising her & recently sold their house in the school district and took her to the grandparents house in another county. So Kerri & Kelsey are in the same boat of needing a place within the school district so they can graduate together with their classmates. Somehow, someway i'm praying we can work something out and be able to do this financially for the next 9 months while Shawn is in Missouri. I'm praying it will work for the girls sake. Alot of unknowns right now but hopefully soon we'll have more answers.
So, the last few days we've been painting and cleaning out and prepping for our day of meeting with realtors. Tomorrow Shawn will meet with his relocation caseworker thru work to see what is next. It's all alittle scary and today I broke down and cried infront of the realtor. We've been in this house 16 years and there are many memories. I'm praying for strength to get thru this...
Well, hubby is back to work Friday & the weekend and we have yard sale stuff to price & get ready for next weekend. I hope to get some stamping time in soon. I placed a small order yesterday for some new SU stuff...WooHoo! I can't wait to get my Just Believe set! Love it!!
Ok folks, I am exhausted and need to get some sleep! I'll be back soon with something stamp related...I promise!
Thanks for stopping by!

Two Challenges Today...

Hello again!
Hope you all had a great weekend! It was super hot & humid here all weekend and to the point of when you opened the door to go out, you started to sweat. Hubby spent Saturday out washing the cars and made the remark that no one was outside! I think our temps reached 100 with high humidity. YUK!!
We took Fluffy to the Vet to have her stitches out first thing Saturday and she's doing super. I know she's thrilled to have the lampshade off now. :) After that I spent the rest of the day cleaning. My house was in dire need of it since it was not done since before Fluffy's surgery 2 1/2 weeks ago.
Sunday, we stayed in our pj's most of the day, relaxing and staying cool inside! Then we had some thunderstorms blow thru which dumped alot of rain on us but the best part was...it cooled things down quite a bit!!! :)
Today, hubby had to go back to work so Kels & I were up early to get workin on a batch of banana whoopie pies. Took most of the day and i've had enough of the kitchen for one day!

New Blog.....First Post!!!

Hello!!
I'm sure your surprized to see me back here with a new blog! Since I last posted back in May I deleted WeeBeeStampin in thoughts that i'd probably never blog again or come back to it later down the road. I also hoped that I could restore my old blog but that didn't happen either.
So, today is a new day for WeeBeeStampin4fun!!
I had to sit down today and create a card for our hair stylist, old neighbor & dear friend, Kathy, that lost her son this past Sunday in a car accident. He just turned 20 years old and what a shocker. We are all speechless beyond words and sending many thoughts & prayers out to Kathy and hoping the good Lord will see her through this....
I borrowed this retired set from Jen the the other day to make an anniversary card for my wonderful husband. Wednesday (July 21st) we celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary but it seemed overshadowed with other things going on in our lives right now. I never got the card made for him for i'm sure he understands. I used it instead to make Kathy's sympathy card. I've always loved this SU Stipple Rose stamp. This stamp was actually mine till a few years ago when Jen bought it off of me when I was cleaning out. She was gracious enough to allow me to borrow it to stamp off some images for future use. Thanks Jen!
I was in the mood today for something purple...so my roses ended up being a beautiful purple! Everything else just seemed to fall into place with this as if I never stopped stamping! :)

Card Details:

Stamps: Stipple Rose (retired), Sentiment from Just So Sayings (retired)
Paper: Lavender Lace, Certainly Celery, PTI Select White
Ink: Memento Black, Copic Markers
Accessories: Gold Circle Clip, Gold Butterfly (inside), Sheer Ribbon, Square Lattice SU Embossing Folder, MS Border Punch, Dimensionals, 2 Sided Tape

I really like my card and hope that it brings some comfort to Kathy in the coming days.

Thanks for stopping by! Happy Thursday!
