More Baby Cards!!

Hello & Happy Thursday!

Hope your week is going well!
The last 2 days have been very gloomy, rainy & foggy.
We had rain come thru overnight with a cold front.
It might be cold & windy out now but atleast we will see the sun!

I've been busy doing some painting.
Actually my entire house is going to get repainted over the next several months.
Yesterday I got my food closet redone and reorganized.
Today I am going to work on my living room as long as I have enough paint.

Today I have 2 baby cards to share that I whipped up recently.
Again, I used A New Little Someone stamp set and a mix of retired papers.

That bunny has got to be the cutest to use on baby cards!
I paired this one up with some Slumber Party DSP from along time ago!
It also uses Pretty in Pink which has always been the nicest color pink Stampin Up has ever had!

Card Details:

Stamps: A New Little Someone (retired)
Ink: Memento Black, Copic Markers
Cardstock: Thick Whisper White, Pretty in Pink (retired), Whisper White, Slumber Party DSP (retired)
Accessories: Circle Layering Framelits, Be Mine Stitched Framelits, Rhinestones, Pretty in Pink Taffeta Ribbon (retired), Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Here is the card for a baby boy...

This card is pretty much the same as above except the colors are different.

Card Details:

Stamps: A New Little Someone (retired)
Ink: Memento Black, Copic Markers
Cardstock: Thick Whisper White, Brocade Blue, Whisper White, Slumber Party DSP (retired)
Accessories: Circle Layering Framelits, Be Mine Stitched Framelits, Rhinestones, Brocade Blue Grosgrain Ribbon, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

It's been great fun making all these baby cards in recent weeks just to fill up my baby card slot on the card rack! Sometime I find much enjoyment in sitting down and pulling out my stash and having fun! It also love mixing the old stuff with the new!

My thoughts today...

We've not had much of a cold snowy winter this season which does not make me mad.
After 50 & 60 degrees this week, winter is making it's presents known!
Hang on to your hat and stay warm!

Thanks for stopping by & have a wonderful day!

Stipple Celebrations

Good Morning & Happy Tuesday!

It's a very gloomy, rainy day here and my hubby is working from home today!
I'm slowly getting my house put back together because my back is acting up!
Some days I surely wish I was 20 again where there are no aches & pains.

I have a set of cards to share that I made one day last week.
It uses a retired set called Stipple Celebrations that I recently picked up on FB Marketplace for $3.50!
I remember owning this set years ago when it was available then selling it at a yard sale before we moved to Missouri. I have been kicking myself in the pants for doing that!

On this card I paired up some springy colors and got to work!
The colors are Bermuda Bay, Granny Apple Green, Grapefruit Grove and Flirty Flamingo.
I had to use my Stamp A Ma Jig to get the images lined up nicely.
Unfortunately, you can't use the wood mounted stamps with the Stamparatus.

Card Details:

Stamps: Stipple Celebrations (retired), Happy Birthday, Gorgeous (retired)
Ink: Bermuda Bay, Granny Apple Green, Grapefruit Grove, Flirty Flamingo
Cardstock: Thick Whisper White, Grapefruit Grove, Whisper White, Bermuda Bay DSP
Accessories: Classic Label Punch, Flirty Flamingo Enamel Dots (retired), Stamp A Ma Jig, Mini Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Those colors just make me smile on this gloomy, rainy day!
I may try my hand at another set of cards like this using a different color palette!
What do you think?
Do you have any color suggestions to try?

Congrats!

Hello & Happy Saturday!

Yesterday our bathroom guys handed the keys back and did the final walk through with the bathroom! It looks amazing!
I haven't shared any pictures yet until I get it straightened up and the stuff put back into place.
It seems so much bigger now.

Shawn & I were so exhausted last night that we were in bed by 9 pm.
This morning we are popping out to Walmart to pick up a few things then Home Depot to return shower shelves that already came with the new shower.
Once we get back I need to put 1 more coat of paint on the inside of the bathroom closet and get my shower curtain rod put up so we can start showering. Then the fun task of getting stuff put into their place and moving Ryan back upstairs. I think he's ready to get out of the basement...in which I don't blame him.
I will most likely be taking a blog break over the next week or so to get my house put back together.
The dust is unbelievable!

Enough on that....let's get to some stamping fun!

I have another cute baby card to share that I made when I made the baby boy card several weeks ago!

It's pretty much identical to the other card except for the color.
I so love that cute bunny!

Card Details:

Stamps: A New Little Someone (retired)
Ink: Memento Black, Petal Pink & Crumb Cake
Cardstock: Thick Whisper White, Petal Pink, Whisper White, Twinkle Twinkle DSP (retired)
Accessories: Oval Layering Framelits, Basket Weave EF, Blender Pen, White Pearls, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Finally my card rack is filled with baby cards!

Rustic Retreat

Hello & Happy Friday!

So happy the weekend is here!
I really need a day to sleep in!

Today I have a cool masculine card to share!
I love this card and hope you will too!

It uses a set from the Stampin Up Annual Catalog called Rustic Retreat.
I have had this set since last June and finally inked up some of these great manly images!
I used Stampin Blends to color these images and then diecut them out with Circle & Oval Layering Framelits. The sentiment I fussy cut.

Card Details:

Stamps: Rustic Retreat, Buffalo Check Background
Ink: Memento Black, Soft Suede, Stampin Blends- Old Olive, Smoky Slate, Crumb Cake, Soft Suede & Daffodil Delight
Cardstock: Soft Suede, Crumb Cake, Whisper White
Accessories: Stamparatus, Circle Layering Framelits, Oval Layering Framelits, Coastal Weave EF, Linen Thread, Bronze Rhinestones, Glue Dot, Dimensionals, Tombow Mulitpurpose Liquid Glue

I used my Stamparatus to stamp my Buffalo Check background stamp so I could get a good image.
I'm trying to use it more and it is perfect for background stamps!
Most times I usually grab my Stamp A Ma Jig because it's easier and I can use it with my wood mounted stamps!

Birthday Wishes

Good Morning & Happy Thursday!

The week is winding down and I don't know about you but I am ready for the weekend!
It's been another long week with work going on in the bathroom.
Yesterday the tile was finished and today it will get the grout applied.
Painting also started with a coat of primer and a coat of paint.
Hopefully today we see more changes!

I have a set of cards to share today that I made using all retired products.
I just whipped these up last week and my customer called asking for some birthday cards.
Glad I already have her covered!

I pulled out a pack of DSP called Spring Flowers and got to work creating these with retired colored cardstocks, Chocolate Chip and Cameo Coral. So Saffron is used as well and that color is still current.

Card Details:

Stamps: Sincere Salutations (retired)
Ink: Cameo Coral (retired)
Cardstock: Chocolate Chip (retired). So Saffron, Cameo Coral (retired), Whisper White, Spring Flowers DSP (retired)
Accessories: Stitched So Sweetly Dies, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Whisper White Ribbon (retired), Rhinestones, Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

My bows were already made from another project so I used them up!
Always a great feeling using up what's in your stash!

Easter Blessings

Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Another busy day around the Aungst Pad!
The work in the bathroom is still going on.
Today they are putting up the ceramic tile and I did a sneak peek a bit ago...
It looks awesome and will tie in with the floor and the new vanity nicely!

Today I came down to my stamp table to finish up a couple of projects that I was working on.
The card that I started yesterday turned out pretty nice.
I recently got a card from a friend that had some stamped images in and this tulip image was one of them!

I loved this image and it screamed Spring/Easter to me.
I have no idea who the maker of the stamp is but it's beautiful!!

Card Details:

Stamps: unknown tulip image, Itty Bitty Greetings
Ink: Memento Black, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive & Pool Party Stampin Blends
Cardstock: Thick Whisper White, Pool Party, Daffodil Delight, Whisper White, Pool Party DSP (retired)
Accessories: Circle Layering Framelits, Subtle EF, Classic Label Punch, Rhinestones, Pool Party Ribbon (retired), Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Forever Lovely Sympathy

Hello & Happy Sunday!

Hope you all are having a wonderful weekend!
They always seem to go by so quick!

Yesterday we got out and picked up our ceramic tile which is so pretty and goes great with the colors of my flooring! I'm really getting excited to see it done and get things back into place.
I also picked up new blinds and curtains for the window & shower.
We also got the paint!

So today we decided we weren't gonna do much except relax.
It's been a busy, crazy week and I think we need to chill for the day.
I will pick at some laundry and get my checkbook straightened out,

I have a set of sympathy cards to share with you today!
I picked at these over the last 2 weeks and finally got them done.
They use the Forever Lovely set and the Peaceful Moments set.

I kept the colors on the springy side since we are getting closer to the spring season.
The colors are Pear Pizzazz & Highland Heather.

Card Details:

Stamps: Forever Lovely, Peaceful Moments
Ink: Pear Pizzazz, Highland Heather
Cardstock: Thick Whisper White, Highland Heather, Whisper White, Pear Pizzazz DSP (retired)
Accessories: Stitched Nested Framelits, Circle Layering Framelits, Pear Pizzazz Enamel Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

These cards have alot of white space and not very busy.
The Forever Lovely set is a Distinktive set which gives a more realistic look.
I think my Highland Heather pad might have been a bit too juicy to give my flowers that realistic look but it's all good!

There's Always Time for Tea!

Good Morning & Happy Saturday!

Hope everyone had a nice Valentines Day!
We put our Valentines supper on hold until tonight!
Shawn did not get out of work until late and he was beat by the time he got home.
It's all good as I was just as tired as he was!

This morning the girls are at doggy day spa. They really need it!
Once they get home we need to go get some shopping done.
Have to pick up the ceramic tile, paint and a new blind because this week the bathroom should get finished up. I'm so excited to see it done!

I have a card to share with you using the A Nice Cuppa stamp set!

I have been working on getting all the pockets on my card rack filled with cards since many of them were empty. I have a 6 x 8 cello bag in each slot and it is marked with the occasion. The tea card slot was empty.

Card Details:

Stamps: A Nice Cuppa (retired)
Ink: Crushed Curry
Cardstock: Crushed Curry, Whisper White, A Nice Cuppa DSP (retired)
Accessories: Stitched Rectangle Framelits, White Taffeta Ribbon (retired), Crushed Curry Twine (retired), Rhinestones, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I'm so glad I was finally able to grab the Cups & Kettles Framelits that went with the stamp set!
This bundle makes really nice cards!

My thoughts today...

It was 9 degrees when we got up this morning!
This cold snap is not expected to stay as we have a couple days of 50 degree temps coming this week! No wonder so many people are sick.

That's all for now!
Thanks for stopping by & stay warm today!

My Valentine

Hello & Happy Friday!

Today is the day of love!
My hubby is making supper tonight if he's not too late getting home from work.
He always cooks for that special occasion and I will say that I am looking forward to it!

The bathroom renovation is coming along beautifully!
I'm hoping by this time next week that it is finished.
My house is a wreck and very dusty but we knew this going into it.

Today I have one last Valentines Day card to share.
I made this one for my sweetie...

I tried my best to keep this a bit more on the masculine side with the Navy.
Then I added in a small piece of paper that has pink in it and I wasn't quite sure about it.
Then I just decided to just go with it!
A little pink isn't going to offend him any!
I chose this sentiment from 2 year's ago from the retired Sure Do Love You set.
He is my Valentine every single day! 💕

Card Details:

Stamps: Sure Do Love You (retired)
Ink: Night of Navy
Cardstock: Thick Whisper White, Rose Gold Foil Paper, Everything Is Rosy DSP (retired)
Accessories: Be Mine Stitched Framelits, Lots to Love Framelits (retired),, Everything Is Rosy Enamel Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Do you have any special plans for Valentine's Day?
We always stay put at home and spend the occasion with Ryan.
